Gracias.

When you are in London, I highly recommend visiting an amazing restaurant, Kintan Japanese BBQ. They have a very interesting concept: you can cook meat yourself as you wish. The quality of the food is top notch, as is the service! At the end of dinner, don't forget to try the delicious WA Japanese desserts that you won't forget for a long time. The restaurant is highly recommended!

Six of us went here last Sunday. It was my 27-year old' son's choice. At first I thought it was a bit gimmicky but actually great fun all round. We were invited so I can't be sure on costs. But set meal for six people looked like good value. Basically a long list of small slices of chicken, beef, prawns, mushrooms to grill on a griddle. Wine looked well priced. Not too much muzak. Comfortable booth. Plenty to eat. Negatives: dessert was a ridiculous marshmallow and chocolate gimmick. Loos arent great. But better than a lot of central London experiences I can tell you.

Another reviewer titled their review “mixed feelings’. That sums up nicely my impression. Ever since eating at a superb Japanese BBQ restaurant in New York City, we’d been keen to find something similar in London. As others have noted there aren’t many restaurants of this type in London so we were pleased to find this place. It’s a fun experience but the food is of variable quality - some of the meats are much better than others. The waiting staff vary too - some don’t seem to have a clue about the food they are selling but others are more expert and able to offer sensible advise.

Ziet er aan de buitenkant niet uit, maar in de kelder wordt je verwend. Eten en bediening zijn prima, smakelijke vleeswaren die je zelf op een kleine bbq mag bereiden. Marinades erg lekker, kimchi is prima

I had already been to this place before and it didn’t disappoint. Great value for money, tasty food and good ambiance. The staff was a bit pushy and wanting to do everything too fast though.

We had a really good time, the venue felt safe with good amendments for social distancing. The food was good too. Not cheap but good value

This is a quiet hidden sushi place in south quays. Relatively near the south quays station. The restaurant is small but walk-in is fine. It is reasonably priced and there is a wide variety of food options on the menu. The sashimi is of mediocre quality and there isn't a salmon sashimi roll on the menu. I would come back again if I was heading that way as it is out of the way.

Staff are nice enough, not an exceptional experience. Food wasn’t bad, but again, having visited several other locations it was just okay. The main issue is the restaurant itself - it’s dated and it’s very dull. Overall wouldn’t recommend

So if you're a fan of Japanese food and culture, this is the place for you. It's a kind of Japanese supermarket, but it also offers a very large selection of food to go or to eat in. There are also many other Japanese products, such as magazines, decorations, and more.
