Kino Lounge in Kettering

Food was really nice staff were very freindly and they don't judge. I have a visible disability but was treated like any other customer. I have been to a couple of places and just get stared at. Will be coming back

Lovely place, with a tasty menu and good service.

Without a doubt, the best burger we have ever had and the streaky bacon on top was unbelievable. The taste was gorgeous. Service and atmosphere were excellent, and we can't wait to go back.

Kino Lounge is always a great experience with a warm welcome and dogs are allowed and have a water bowl and biscuit tin to dip into. The food menu is very adventurous and delicious. We can definitely recommend it and our pooch is very comfortable snoozing while we eat and relax. Five stars well deserved.

Very loud especially when the dog barks it's dog friendly which is okay if you like dogs, couldn't fault the food would be happy to go back again in the future

The beyond cheese burger is absolutely fantastic.. it's way better than any meat burger in my opinion!

A great meeting place in Kettering - a beautiful church like building which houses a cafe / restaurant. Service is great as is the food. This place is definitely recommended for a visit, especially if you are going for a show locally or just visiting the beautiful church next door.

Even though it was very busy due to it being Mother’s Day, there is no excuse for Luke warm coffee and food.The coffees were exchanged for hot ones, but the food took ages to arrive and was not hot. I’m afraid for what is charged for food and coffee, I would not recommend this place or use it again. Paying nearly £100 for the breakfast and receiving that standard does not sit very well. Because you pay before getting your food, it is impossible to get a refund for cold food.

We had lunch here and I ordered the chicken with truffle and parmesan which was simply delicious. This dish was so full of flavour, and very filling that I can't wait to go back and have it all over again! The staff were friendly and the eatery is based in an old listed building which gives it great character and atmosphere.

If you want hot food go somewhere else! Nice coffee & good atmosphere but cannot cook hot food simple as that

Been to a few kino lounges over the years mainly for lunches which were ok. Lots of food choices though and nothing seems fresh. Just had dinner and had to leave hungry. Had lamb shawarma but not much lamb and all sauce. Disappointed and won’t be going back unless for a small bite. Where’s the healthy food and home cooked.

Awful burnt tough chicken couldn’t eat it when eventually we could see a staff member to raise our issue she was very good to deal with the issue and we were offered cake or a drink not great service really wasn’t even busy very disappointing

Great food and atmosphere... Staff served drinks in warm glasses recently out the dishwasher and tried to tell me they were room temperature 🤒. Would go again but cold glasses please and no b/s 😎😎

Tapas Tuesday Been coming for nearly 2 years and always an issue with Tapas Tuesday. You order your food and your wine. You then order an extra drink which is incorporated into the Tapas deal and a inflated cost. Questioned this with the lady in charge and we did get recompense but this happens every time we go in. When we want to speak to a manager no one available and was given an email of a manager. Can't even speak to anymore. Very disappointed. Don't really feel valued and no one really in a position to sort anything out

Great place to meet up with friends and for breakfast. We all had big breakfasts, which were lovely, but the beans, eggs and mushrooms could have done with being a bit hotter. Always friendly staff. Thank you

Had Dinner with some work colleagues. Atmosphere was good and it was in a beautiful building. Unfortunately my food was cold when arrived. But because the rest was nice 3*. Otherwise would be lower. We were a group of 14 people. We had pre order the food too. No excuse to be cold.

Popped in for a meal on a quiet Tuesday evening as we had heard this was a decent place. The food was good and service also good. For us older folk, ordering via our smartphones was a bit of a challenge but you can order at the bar. Would be better though if orders could be taken at the table. Music volume was quite high which made conversation a bit tricky but this is probably an age thing! Overall, not bad and we will try it again.

Somewhere in Kettering with a different atmosphere - great place to meet friends.

First time visiting here, was pleasantly surprised with the food and would have given 5 stars for service except black pudding missing off both breakfast and toast was requested DRY and had loads of butter. The place is nostalgic and i could live there in this amazing surroundings. I will be going back and i still would highly recommend it.

Been coming here whenever I can since I moved, the food is always delicious and the hospitality of the staff is always great and inviting

Our first time at Kino Lounge we were in a group of 36 in the upstairs lounge. Very impressed with the decor and all the different areas and the buzzing atmosphere. All our meals were served together and everyone was happy with their choices. Customer service was excellent, very organised. Really enjoyed the evening. Well done to all the staff and it made our get together very personal and enjoyable 🌈💛🌻

We had a function of over 30 people. Kino longe were very helpful throughout the booking. On the night all the tables were reserved. Every person commented on how nice thier food was and all the meals came out in a good time. Lovely helpful staff. Thank you so much for looking after us all so well. I highly recommend the Kino Lounge

Always enjoy going there for its food, service and relaxed atmosphere 😊 went there to have a long overdue catch up with an old friend and his wife. Had a coconut milk cappuccino and bacon 🥓 sarnie 😋 then had the churros 😋

Had one of my first dates here with my partner. We haven’t stopped coming back as we love the menu, the staff are very helpful and sweet, and we adore the architecture and atmosphere.

Early start, fantastic food with lots of taste. Never gone wrong here.

Food is often not hot when it arrives and I don't particularly like the smell of dogs when I'm eating.. don't think I will be visiting again in the near future

Went there 4 to 5 months ago. Went with my friend, Only had a glass of wine, it's a beautiful place inside, tables clean, service brilliant. 2nd visit ... THIS Bar / Café Is the best in Kettering, UK. it's FUN &. JOLLY All ages welcome, allso lots going on this Christmas.

Went to this place for my granddaughters 18th birthday had a lovely time, and food was lovely.

A bit noisy but always a good meal

Booked a separate area for the family for my mums surprise 80th. The manager and the staff went out of their way to make sure it was a special night. The food was fabulous and too say we were a big group it all came out together and bang on the time we ordered it! Thank you to the manager and all the team for a fab night in great surroundings, great food and a great atmosphere. So glad we chose Kino where they helped us create a night to remember !!

Arranged my mums 80th Birthday surprise at Kino 11th November. What can I say but a huge thank you to all the team!! Nothing was too much trouble all the food came out exactly on time and it was all amazing. The service, considering the place was heaving was excellent. A huge thank to everyone for making it a night to remember!!

The interior of the Kino Lounge is very impressive. They have lovely cocktails, good food and plenty of sitting space. The staff is lovely and very polite.

Staff member was very helpful. Listened to my order of vegan tea and sandwich.

Straight out of a movie experience. The location is brilliant and central. The cinema structure makes it spacious and the decor gives it a bistro like vibe, in the best way. The service is a 5 star from the entrance to the serving. The food is amazing and the range is insane. They really take allergies and preference service to the next level. It was a "on the spot" decision to eat here but it was the choice on the day. Would absolutely recommend.

We all went there for a family lunch and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff were friendly and the food delicious. We've been here a few times and will be back again.

Fun looking place, unfortunately the food was very hit and miss. My daughter’s pizza was so sloppy even she wouldn’t eat it (and pizza is her favourite thing), my chicken and avocado burger was very bland, and I was disappointed with the milkshake as well - but the kids’ fish fingers and chips were fantastic, as was the gluten free vege burger. All the food came out fairly quickly and ordering at the table was very useful. We had a little trouble checking we actually had a table booked as well; we entered a reservation request on Tuesday for 8 people at Saturday lunch, but by Friday hadn’t had any confirmation at all. I called and was told it would be sorted within half an hour and we would receive an email, but 2 hours later we still didn’t have confirmation so my husband phoned. The person on the phone seemed annoyed we called again but within 5 minutes we finally had confirmation. Glad we did book as it was pretty full!

I love all of the lounges. This one isn't my favourite because whenever I have visited it has been super busy and loud. This is obviously a credit to them! There are a few steps in to the lounge and I'm unsure if they have a stowaway ramp so can't comment on accessibility. Staff are super attentive but perhaps too much so-on our most recent visit we were asked 6 times by 3 different servers if everything was OK with our meal. It was, the food and drinks were great as always, but my personal preference is to be left alone to eat and talk. I like that all of the lounge group allow dogs and have many great vegan options to choose from. I think I've tried all of the menu by now and enjoyed everything!

Me and my son popped in for dinner. First of all, beautiful inside! Wonderful atmosphere. Staff unbelievably welcoming. My son wanted to pay compliments to the chef, staff even bought chef Charley out for him. Well done Charley for the fantastic food and taking time out to come and say hello to him. You’ve all made our day. Food to die for at a fantastic price. 10/10, well done guys

We were greeted by a very friendly person who gave us directions to a table upstairs. The place was buzzing and had a great feel to it. We sat down and used the QR code to order. Very easy. Menu online detailed the vegan friendly wine, which is fantastic, as the staff don't normally know themselves what ones are vegan friendly, I tend to have to Google their wines at the bar if I've not used the QR option. We had taken a game to play at the table "Hive" - fab game - so we didn't really notice the wait time for drinks or food. The food was delicious, and we both had meals from the vegan menu. The menu is lush because there's so much to choose from. We each had the Beyond burger, adding hash browns. My friend isn't vegan, but was super impressed with it. We also had the chocolate and raspberry tarte- amazing! Again, my non vegan friend absolutely loved it. We both left super pleased with our experience. Great food, friendly service, and fab atmosphere.

Decent food, Amazing for Gluten Free stuff. Probably understaffed. We odered drinks with no ice that arrived with ice, when we said 'sorry we asked for no ice' the staff member returned with half empty drinks 😂

Lovely atmosphere, in a big old building. Service was fairly quick, food was delicious, if very slightly overpriced. All round a great experience.

A really great setting, with decent food options. The restaurant is owned by a UK chain that has lounges all over the country. We have eaten at a few, and they are all consistently good. Kino has one of the best old buildings I have seen - great location.

Took my grandson for breakfast, we sat out side. Ordering on the phone was easy, the service was very good. One young lady went out of her way to help me as I dropped baked beans down my very white top. The young lady was lovely great Customer service. The food and drink were spot on. Defo go back but not with a white top on 🤣🤣🤣

Great spot for food, several choices and a good vegan menu. A few different areas to eat inside but we’ve enjoyed several nights here sitting outside. I’m sure we’ll be back in the cooler months and eat inside to. Each time the atmosphere has been lovely and the staff welcoming. Cocktails are consistent and well priced. Very welcoming to children.

Milkshake, trash... Terrible... Horrific. I am assuming they used powdered flavour and just added milk. Don't bother. Tastes like milk, no flavour. Might aswell just pop down to your local grocery shop and get some nesquik as it tastes so much better x

A busy bank holiday Monday but a table was found quickly and cleared for us. The Gluten Free menu is extensive, with brunch options, burgers, and more. My GF bacon cheese burger came with coleslaw and a choice of standard or sweet potato fries, and totally hit the spot. Informal dining - well behaved dogs were welcome, and families with younger children seemed to appreciate the choice of toys available for their use too.

2023: still awesome. Even during covid: Lovely as always. Am a regular and it's our family goto place. Very dog friendly, lovely staff, good and varied menu, decent beer selection. I often comment that I could spend the day here. My dog loves it. I often buy a beer and 2 sausages when it's just the two of us.

Has always been my favourite place for drinks, you can’t beat the atmosphere plus vibe and the stunning decor is a must to see. Seat outside and admire the square or inside and soak up the grandness of the old hippodrome building. The food and drinks are to good standard too. A little advice and a sneaky recommendation-It’s a perfect place to take your date to at specially in the evening when the whole build little up with the candle light.

Ordered pancakes Bananas and jelly. Bananas smelled of onions. Pulled brisket chilli had more onions than chef had left in kitchen. In description it wasn’t even mentioned that will have any onions. Not allergic but really can’t stand them. Barely any meat. Atmosphere was nice. Order arrived quite quickly.

It was a last minute Friday night choice, it was busy but we still got a place, had tapas and some other nibbly items, it was lovely! And the cocktails were great, loved the look of the place especially the high ceilings.

Kino lounge firstly has an interior that is mesmerising. Tables and chairs that don't match on purpose. The food was well presented and tasted lovely. My only issue was if there could have been more. The staff were polite, courteous, and very attentive. The location suits it well and is easily accessible for all.

Really unique restaurant / bar. Decoration is really interesting, every table is different and every wall is covered in unique paintings and decorations. Loads of funky lanterns and lightning. Decoration is great, atmosphere is great, good music in the evening. It's a bit pricier than other places in Kettering but worth it every now and then for the uniqueness.

I ordered the all day breakfast. It's was disgusting. My egg was covered in black pepper which tells me it came off another plate. The only thing that was bearable was the toast. I ordered a brownie and it was the wrong brownie and the waitress refused to give me a refund even though it was never touched. The waitress was extremely rude and I am not happy about the service i received. It's the first and last time I'll go there.

A cracking venue to go to if you're looking for some food and a few drinks. The atmosphere is electric on a Saturday afternoon and the staff do a fantastic job at providing hospitality. Ryan treated us very well as guests. The food tasted lovely and I would happily return here again.

Fantastic place to eat, meet with family & friends, go on a date or even just as an alternative remote working location. Huge range of options for a range of dietary requirements. Staff always super friendly and deliver great service. Always have a great experience at Kino - would highly recommend.

The Kino Lounge is fast becoming my local! Called in after work, meeting my family there. We pretty much ate and drank the same things as we'd had previously. As always, the staff were great, prompt and friendly service and the food was perfectly presented, as it always has been. Although there are other places we could go regularly, I see no reason why we should. Top marks to the whole team front of house and behind the scenes.

What an absolutely amazing place. Unassuming on the outside, but when you step through the doors... makes me smile even now. Great food, top notch service and a brilliant atmosphere.

Couldn't rate the place any better. The atmosphere on a Thursday night was brilliant. A nice spacious room with people enjoying great food. I only come in for one drink, ended up staying for 6! My server was Abi who made me feel at home with great humour and even better customer service. I will be coming back again because of her amazing personality and the amazing atmosphere that this place has in abundance!!! If I could give it 100 stars then I most definitely would. All of the staff were amazing!
