Kingsway Lounge in Warrington

I had a wonderful experience at Kingsway Lounge! The food was absolutely delicious—the palak paneer was rich and flavourful, and the garlic naan and pilau rice were perfect accompaniments. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. I also love that they organise events that celebrate Indian culture, adding an extra touch of immersion and fun. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy authentic flavours and a warm, welcoming atmosphere!

Called in the Kingsway lounge for a meal, absolutely amazing place, food was fantastic as was the service. Beautiful decor, friendly staff and coffee was amazing!! Will defo be back!

Absolute favourite Indian restaurant in the Warrington area. Food is fantastic and the staff provide a great and real level of service. Our server "Super Mario" was fantastic. We were both fussy eaters and the menu, and staff were so great at opening our eyes to new flavours. The party deal is definitely great value for money. 10/10 recommend to anyone

Me and my wife came here tonight after it being recommended by another head chef with me being a chef I'm very hard to please well might I say they completely surpassed my expectations the food was fresh lots of flavour pipping hot and so much choice and the service was fantastic the guys who served us tonight thank you for a lovely evening will definitely return See you next time Craig

It was my daughter's birthday and her husband arranged a surprise meal. They organised decorations and the cake for us. We were greeted and looked after by the super friendly staff throughout the evening. The food was delicious, there were 15 of us and the food all came to the table at the same time and with ages ranging from 1 to 62 there wasn't one unhappy face.

Beautiful restaurant. Beautiful decor very modern and different from normal Indian restaurant layout! Coming onto the food the lamb chips was to die for! The best i have had in my life!!! Plenty of vegetable and vegan options rather surprising in a indian restaurant to see plenty of vegan options!

We have had a takeaway fir the first time from here today. It was a very large order, with numerous different items. Firstly the food itself was piping hot still when we got home. It was all delicious. I personally had the garlic chicken bari bati which I have never had before, well I will be having it a lot more now. It was so tasty. The chicken in the dishes was good chicken. Great portions and not to mention the outstanding service and how polite, professional, helpful and they went out of their way for us. Thank you so very much for all the staff their, as you have made a great family Sunday get to get her just perfect. Needless to say we will be coming again!

Though we only went for a take away, the atmosphere was very lively, the service was good, and the food was excellent. I ordered one of my usual dishes to compare the food, to be provided with a meal which was a variation on what is usually served. It was great, and made a nice change, but the menu is so extensive, I will gladly try something new next time.

We are regulars at Kingsway Lounge always great service and the staff are excellent. Mario always has a chat with us and will recommend anything if you are unsure of what to have. We went on 11th June we had 4 poppadums and the chutney tray, we didn’t have a starter this time we decided on a mixed vegetable Bhaji side dish. We had a Tandoori mix grill (main), a Chicken Tikka Pathia, 1 Pilau rice and 2 chapati’s. The mix grill comes with your choice of sauce and on this occasion Mario gave us 2 sauces to try, a Rajashani sauce which was very flavoursome not too spicy, a Murgi Tok sauce which had a nice blend of spices with a nice hint of hotness. The kitchen made a mistake and sent a mixed vegetable starter instead of the side dish, that was rectified immediately and we were given the starter anyway without charge. We had a bottle of Pinot Grigio £17.95 and 3 pints of Cobra £15.75, the total bill was £80.80 bearing in mind £33.70 was alcohol the food is very reasonably priced compared to a bowl of pasta with a bit of pancetta in the Italian for £15.95. Forgot to take a picture of the mixed grill but took one of the Tandoori chicken

Kingsway Lounge catered for 110 guests at my party.Super Mario's team arrived at the venue with a van full of delicious hot food and everyone commented on how great it was.The lamb rogan josh and jalfrezi were my favourite and the chicken and vegetarian curries were delicious too. Pilau rice, naan breads and onion bahjis were tasty. Luckily I ordered too much and now have a freezer full to enjoy again!

This was our first time dining in at the Kingsway lounge ,the food was fabulous and the service was great too,my wife and I will be back soon ,the price was very competitive,best curry for ages.

Original and inventive menu. The food was fantastic. Equally the Service, with the staff taking us through the menu, giving us a history lesson and advising.

It's a shame I could only give 5* for services. We've had takeout from Kingsway for months. Which has always been incredible. If you want guaranteed good food order here... However if you want that same great food with amazing service and atmosphere, you MUST eat in. We had dietary requirements, usually can be an issue, some places say yes or no.. we were educated on the menu and that was done in a friendly and relaxing way. We now have more confidence in takeaway and only encouraging us to eat here more. Like Indian, try it Want great atmosphere definitely try it Want amazing service... What are you doing, book a table... You'll thank me later.

We've been here a couple of times now and were impressed both times. Service is excellent, atmosphere is lovely, it doesn't feel too crowded. Food is very good, everything we've tried was delicious. Naan bread in particular is amazing. Definitely one of the better Indian restaurants in Warrington.

We visit Kingsway Lounge regularly. The food is amazing every time. They have a wide range of unusual dishes - great variety and all delicious. The staff are engaging and helpful, always making the experience more complete. We have occasionally tried other Indian restaurants in Warrington, and we always regret going elsewhere.

This spot is great for couples or families or even going solo. Mario looked after us all evening nothing to much trouble, he recommended the £26 deal absolutely gorgeous, he explained all the dishes. Outstanding value for money and we will definitely be back thanks 😁

We came, we saw and we ate! This is our second time ordering from Kingsway and again it exceeded expectation. The Kingsway Staff are always helpful and polite (they are even polite about my horrific pronunciation!) Delicious food, that is the best we've had for a long time, that are generously portioned. Can not wait to order again.

Having previously enjoyed an evening here to celebrate my granddaughter’s birthday when my colleagues in our local Big Band wished to book a Christmas get together I had no hesitation in recommending the Kingsway Lounge. We were not to be disappointed. 18 of us sat at a well prepared table with most taking advantage of the party meal deal which was great value. At the end everyone had a great time and complemented me on my recommendation. Thanks to all the staff, chefs etc.

Is there no 10 stars? Best indian food we have ever tried. Since we discovered it, we are regulars and absolutely love it. But it's not only the food. Guys are absolutely lovely and that is what you want when you are out for a nice meal. On top of that prices are so good. You get an awful lot of quality, and I mean quality food and service for your buck.

Amazing service! Soon as you walk in your seated, we asked for a Booth and got one because tables just a little bit to small! Soon as we sat down we was greeted and and asked for drinks, with in seconds drinks had arrived! We was then given a perfect amount of time before we was asked about ordering! We then ordered poperdoms and the side sauces! The red chilli dip is u real! If you like a bit of sweet spice! Once ordered food arrived piping hot within minutes of ordering, mind you it was early but none the less, it still arrived at a good time! Amazing date night for me and my partner as we don't get out offen, so was Amazing treat! Thank you so much kingsways! A pleasure as allways!

Fantastic night for my sons 11th Birthday. They are very attentive and such Amazing and Delicious food. Won’t forget the singing they did to celebrate for him and will be taking him for lunch there later in August.

I live a 15 minute drive from this restaurant and I ordered a takeaway over the phone. I only ordered one portion of egg pilau rice for my meal, but on arriving home I discovered it had not been put into the takeaway bag. I telephoned the restaurant to clarify whether they had charged me for the egg pilau rice and they confirmed that they had. I told them that I had not received it and to their credit they apologised and offered to deliver it. My problem is that I live a good 15 minute drive away and I already knew that that distance would be too far for them to deliver. When I told the guy on the phone where I live, he then started stuttering/mumbling that it was a bit too far ( which I do kind of understand, but without the rice my meal was spoilt ) and they asked if they could knock it off my next bill. Reluctantly, I told them that I would have to come and pick it up, as my meal was of no use without the egg pilau rice. Fortunately for me, I found a frozen portion of Chinese rice in my freezer and whilst not being the rice I wanted for my Indian food, I decided that I would have to make do with that, as I then decided that I was not making a half hour round trip journey. However, whilst I am here making this negative review, I have to pick up the Kingsway Lounge on their portion of madras curry sauce and the size of it. Every other takeaway that I use for Asian food, normally give one of two average sized food containers ( which I classify as either a small container or a large one ) that are generally used by most curry takeaways and restaurants. The Kingsway Lounge put their madras sauce in the smaller container, just like most other takeaways/restaurants, but all of the other takeaways/restaurants I use, always give you a full container of sauce, unlike the Kingsway Lounge who only half fill it if you are lucky. The first time that I used this place I only received half of a small container of sauce, the second time I used it, they gave about three quarters of a container and I'm being generous there, but this third and last time, it was back to being just about half full at the very most. After eating my meal I have to acknowledge that it was nice, the poppadoms, meat samosas, onion bhaji and the chicken tikka main course with a madras sauce were all very good. However, it was a big disappointment with the very small portion of madras sauce ( a point also made to me by a colleague who has used this place ) and the missing rice which did spoil things. In future I will stick to my regular places that I use, unless I hear that the Kingsway Lounge has addressed the issue of the small portion of curry sauce, when I might give them another try I don't like leaving negative reviews and I am sorry to do so, but sometimes you have state the facts. Date of visit: June 2023

After so many referrals for this place I was very excited to go: - Parking availability isn't the best but it's not the end of the world - Welcomed happily by the staff who were fantastic throughout the night. Big shout out to "Super Mario" - Offered the party special menu, which does appear to be a good deal, however the bill at the end wasn't very clear, but we can chalk that up to experience. - The food is edible, but not the best "British Indian" I've eaten. I'd have to say below average (remember I am fussy). With a party of 10 I would have to sum up the whole experience as average food (maybe we caught them on a bad day). Price wise I would say pretty good. Fantastic service, infact it was the happy/cheeky/humours of "Super Mario" that saved the day for me. Usually I don't return to a place I don't enjoy the food, but on service alone I would be inclined to give them a 2nd chance.

The actual place itself is very nice and the service is great. The food however I wasn't impressed with, luminous garlic naan never seen anything like it. Chips were harder than Tyson Fury half expected them to jump off the plate and offer me out. Not sure would go back again

Had a fabulous meal one of the nicest Indian meals and I have had a lot of Indian food the staff very pleasant and service was very quick would certainly recommend to anyone give this restaurant a try you won’t be disappointed one of the staff I don’t know if he was the owner small stocky man was so helpful nothing was to much trouble they even moved a staff car out of the car park so we could park love this place and so resonable.

Fantastic food & friendly staff, very knowledgeable about the food, one of our party had a nut allergy we were put at ease straight way when they said don’t worry we don’t use nut products, we have been here a lot and staff now know our names, we have a reason to keep returning it the quality of the food and service keep up the good work and we will see you again Regards Keith & Dianne
