Terrific place for beer, something for everyone and, since I'm greedy, I sampled a few halves from different categories. Great layout, with board games and outside seating, and brilliant, informed, helpful staff.

Fantastic selection of craft beer. You can have flights consisting of four beers each one a third of a pint. Food is limited to toasted sandwiches or cheeseboard. These however taste very good.

Wonderful place to have a craft beer. Lovely quiet little place right in the heart of Bath. We were not impressed by this tourist trap town, but this beer bar was excellent. Prices are very reasonable.

Cute bottle shop. Craft beer cocktail menu looked good. a few vegan options (a grilled cheese and 2 lighter bites) I had the garlic sourdough which was lovely and the sauce that came with it was elite!

Visited Bath for the day. The sour dough garlic bread what absolutely delicious. Good GF beer options and the atmosphere was great, really chilled, not too loud. Friendly staff. We had a lovely time. Cheers!

When we visited they only had 6 beers on tap and 2 kegs blew while we were there. Great ambiance just wish there were more beers on tap (they did have many beers in cans as an alternative however)

What a fabulous craft beer heaven. Nestled on the edge of Kingsmead Square, with tables outside where the music of buskers and the chatter of relaxed voices drifts in the air. The beers are exceptional. Both a wide keg selection and a fridge full of an even wider selection of cans. Simon is incredibly knowledgeable, very welcoming and genuinely passionate about what he is doing. A fantastic afternoon spent sampling superb beer and soaking up the atmosphere. Go see for yourselves; you won’t regret it.

It was a cold and wet Thursday morning so hardly surprising that I was alone in here. Friendly welcome though and both draught beers I had were absolutely outstanding. A great selection too.

Found when wandering round Bath after dinner. Warm enough to sit outside for a bit before heading indoors. Good range of beers on tap and in cans. Wine was ok. Only downside was a blocked toilet but the staff shut the toilet quickly. Staff were lovely in there. Worth checking out

5* for concept: beer, meat and cheese platters are a perfect combination. 3* for the atmosphere, which is cosy and inviting, although spoiled by the arsey bar staff. 3* for the food which is decent but nothing special. 1* for the beer - there are no cask ales and on the 3 occassions I've been in I haven't managed to find a draught beer I want to drink; they all seem to have something added - rasberries or vanilla or marshmallows or whatever. I have discussed it each time with the barman and he/she always seems to conclude that it's my fault for wanting a traditional mild/bitter/porter/stout that isn't super-strength. The back-up selection of cans saves the situation just about, but it's obviously not the place for me. 0* for service - on a cold, wet Friday night my wife was sent to sit outside for coming in with a 1-scoop tub of icecream. I get that they serve food, but common sense should have told them she was doing no harm. Perhaps they would have approved if it was an ice-cream flavoured beer? Anyway, we went round the corner to what proved to be a far better bar, where they serve beer that tastes of beer, and the bar staff were welcoming - so they did us a favour.

This is a place frequented by locals and travellers alike and were made very welcome. The selection of craft beer and wines is excellent, which we enjoyed along with a cheese board.

All beers served here are well chosen, good and interesting. The look of the place is nice, not too surprising for anybody used to new brewery places. The building and façade of the place is beautiful. Yet they could benefit from a spacier and more comfortable room (looking and feeling a bit less like a cool skateboard). Staff alternates between being stiff/nervous and extremely cool and kind, as one expects in a hyper-cool joint like that. A place to know and try, no doubt!!

I love this place! The beer choice on tap is really good and constantly changes. The staff are awesome - very knowledgeable and friendly! Big shout out to Sam and Martha and some customers the last time I went on. I have a friend in a wheelchair and it was busy… so they asked some people to move for us and they did. The customers are awesome as well! This place is a home from home for me - great beer and there is always someone interesting to talk to!!!

I am a regular at Kingsmead, and it's quite simply the best place to visit in Bath if you're a beer lover. Constantly rotating selection of 10 taps plus a fully stocked fridge, their prices are incredibly reasonable, considering what you'll pay for a Neck Oil in any other pub these days. All beers are carefully and thoughtfully labelled as vegan/GF where appropriate. Staff are efficient when it's busy or good company when it's quieter, and always helpful and knowledgable.

Pleasant stop for some unique beers. I stopped in just to have a pint my first night in England. Good atmosphere, friendly staff. I didn't eat but the beer selection was good [8 tap options] and varied. Had a good local IPA.

The main place to get decent craft beers in Bath

We ducked in here to get out of the rain - and glad we did. Fab beer selection (wine looked great too). The alcohol-free beer options were excellent too - which was good for the designated driver! Ours was a lunchtime visit but there looked to be lots of good things happening in the evenings - poster for live music and free cheese on a Thursday!

Organised a staff leaving party as the location is only 5 mins away from our office. Great selection of drinks, helpful staff (especially if you need suggestions on what you would like to drink) and great music.

We found this place while visiting Bath and were very impressed with the selection of craft beer on tap as well as on the shelves and in the fridge. We visited in the afternoon and then returned later in the evening and enjoyed both times. There was a problem with the card machine taking payments from customers but the member of staff was very professional and patient with the whole thing

Stumbled upon this brilliant little craft beer pub while Christmas shopping. Great selection of beer with 10 different taps available it gives you a great range of different beers to chose from, sure to quench any palette! Plus the fridge giving you even more selection, you really are spoilt for choice. Staff are down to earth and friendly, great knowledge of the beers they stock which is a million miles better than any standard rubbish that you’d find in any run of the mill pub. Granted you have to pay a little more but it’s a small price to pay for supporting a local run micro pub and small independent breweries. Which also I was really happy to see my own hometown Abbeydale brewery stocked there! I didn’t eat myself but the food they were serving looked and smelt great, shame I wasn’t in Bath long enough to try it. Keep up the good work and I can only wish this business the best.

We visited this nice little bottle shop/tap room when on a recent trip to Bath. Had a nice vibe and cleanly decorated. Selection of canned beers was good but could have been a bit bigger with some bigger named breweries. Food menu looked good but we didn't get a chance to try this unfortunately. 😔

I won't lie my opinion here is very biased because I am someone who loves great beers and appreciates what it takes to source and serve only the best and this Bottle shop (microbar) does this very well. Accompanied with great service from knowledgeable staff, local cheese and soul music this really ticks all the boxes. Well done to all involved.

A favourite of ours to visit. Filled with an incredible selection of craft beer, wines and ciders, as well as some lovely spirits (Lind & Lime Gin especially). The staff are super friendly and really knowledgeable, and are always able to recommend something different depending on your taste. With a selection of nibbles available as well its definitely worth a visit!

A great choice of beers on tap (keg) catering for a wide range of tastes. Huge van selection too. Good friendly service and the light bites are delicious too. I had the cheddar and saucisson toasty. Well worth a visit.

A serious lack of hospitality. No welcome when we walked in. No explanation of the concept or the wines/beers on offer. Instead of greeting two other groups that came in after us, the server stayed on his laptop and ignored the customers. Every order, for ourselves and overheard with other tables, came with a sigh and excuse as to why it would take longer/wouldn’t be be as good. This was a laughably bad experience. We will not return.

Utterly pretentious. If you have a beard,tattoos and wear a hat and like very expensive beer out of a can then this will be your Nirvana. For ordinary people who like a beer in a pub then avoid. Thank you to the proprietors for your considered response. However I would like to add one more point based on your remarks. I do recall that you had 10 beer taps, all dispensing different beers but no tap was marked. So the only way to make a choice of a draft beer was after a consultation. I chose not to. Ordering a pint is not some quasi religious experience where the munificent knowledge of the barman is passed over in a knowing way. It was easier to just go for a can. It's just a pint of beer. Anyhow, good luck if this is your thing and I sincerely hope your business model is successful.

Good spot for an average morning breakfast. Nothing incredible, but nothing wrong either.

10 taps with an exceptional rotating lineup of draught beers. Something for everyone with differing strengths and flavour profiles. They also have a great selection of alcohol free beers! Unfortunately haven’t tried any food as it isn’t particularly vegan friendly, but I can’t mark them down for that. Always good friendly vibes and extremely knowledgeable and attentive staff.

Great beer and wonderful barmen who are happy to explain everything, even if you don't have a clue about craft beer. Stopped by for a cocktail, a beer and a bottle of English sparkling wine and had a great time. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is pleasant.
