Good service I am surely visit again

I had a wonderful time and it has a cozy atmosphere and a friendly vibe. The staff were polite and quick with service, which made the evening more enjoyable.

We had a dinner course meal and it was absolutely amazing. The vibes were spectacular and we felt very well taken care of by the stuff. I will definitely come back!

The food was delicious and there was a good variety of drinks to choose from. I’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We ordered 3 meals, one a chicken Kiev which was entirely pink and raw when cut into. Our waiter Eduart gave us a replacement meal but then argued with us when we asked for one of the meals to be compensated.. terrible food and service and not worth the price

Usually come in here for a few beers after work. Can usually get a seat where its not too loud. Don't need to wait long to be served. However like the rest of London, 8 quid is far too much for a beer

From Argentina, I had the opportunity to visit this bar, and I totally recommend it. Everything is impeccable, delicious and the atmosphere is spectacular!!! I love The King Stores!!! I would always come back. The people and the attention, the best!!!

I had a bit of time to burn and needed to escape the heat so popped in to have a pint of Coke. Unfortunately I somehow managed to knock the entire pint of Coke over myself. It was very embarrassing. A very kind lady behind the bar refused to accept the offer that I would clean it up myself. She was awesome and made a very silly Irish man feel not so silly. Thank you for being you and I can't thank you enough for the way you handled the situation. A lovely pub and even better staff.

Nice pub. Friendly, not too busy, average selection of beers, and good selection of spirits. Fair space outside to stand and chat. Overall, nice. Standard London pricing. Staff were friendly too.

Was here to watch the football a few weeks ago. Had a really good roast Porchetta with trimmings. Nice little pub.

Highly recommend king stores. The service is super great and Ed and the staff are lovely. I bring anywhere between 30-40 people here pretty regularly and the staff are super accommodating to us - the fish and chips are great and the grilled chicken is really good as well. The bar downstairs is quite nice as well with a lot on tap - I love the berries and cherries drink.

Incredible Pub. Since I moved office last year, this is my first time I visited kings stores. Incredible never loses its touch and the energy. This place just gets better and better.

Could not pull a pint if their lives depended on it. Forget about the Guinness being poured correctly too. Far better places in east to go.

The chef very kindly used a new fryer with clean oil to make sure chips were gluten free and had no cross contamination. Great understanding of allergens and friendly staff, thanks so much.

Lovely place but personally too loud for me. I had the Chicken skewers which were tender and yummy. Then had the steak with fries. Tasty food. Waitress was lovely. Food took quite a while to come out. Everyone seemed to enjoy it though. They did super well catering to a group of 15 or so.

Very crowded downstairs & a wheelchair use would not have been possible to get in. The disabled toilets are on the ground floor & for someone with walking issues it would not be easy to get to & it would be nice to have a disabled toilet on the first floor. The stairs to the first floor need to have another handrail on the other wall as getting downstairs is extremely difficult. As a person with disabilities I would not recommend.

The service was efficient, friendly and quick, the food was reasonable and probably value for money; it was so noisy you couldn't hear yourself which when you are trying to catch up can be annoying, but would definitely go back. Thanks

The venue is somewhat split into two parts - a busy pub area (mainly standing) and a seated restaurant area. They often show sport on multiple screens and serve a decent pub meal - have been a couple of times and would return.

Here’s some hospitality: my friend and I ordered the exact same three courses, but ordered a starter without the pickles. Pickles weren’t listed on the menu for my burger main, but were put on the side whilst his were in the burger. Small touch, but really impressive, especially when this busy. Great meal. Overpriced beer, but you’ll overlook it.

Lovely old pub. Lots of wood, roomy on inside with room for parties etc upstairs. Good service and interesting selection of beers.

Nice pub, lost of screens and I'd imagine it's a decent place to watch the rugby in.

Food was good pub food and came relatively quickly. Quite busy as there was football on, so there was a nice atmosphere to it. Half pub and half restaurant. Staff were friendly and really nice. Good beers on tap, a lot of options. Reasonably priced. Definitely go back again.

For me, not used to frequenting these places, having been invited by young boys, it was a welcome and exciting experience. Typical London pub, large and welcoming place, wonderful atmosphere and exceptional beers.

Still one of my favourite pubs in the City. Excellent table service really made the experience much more relaxed and enjoyable. Will continue to come again!

Sunday evening, staff were extremely friendly and portions on the Sunday Roast were huge! Good find.

Would not recommend. Fish and chips - terrible. The batter was not good at all. The beer I got was lukewarm. Extremly loud place. The waiter was nice but he was overwhelmed by the amount of tables he had to wait.

Food was outstanding. Service was a little slow but it was a busy Sunday afternoon. Atmosphere was very loud which meant being in a small group, talking across the table was a little tedious. But still an enjoyable afternoon.

Hired one of the private rooms upstairs for a work Christmas Dinner. It was great! The room looked lovely, the staff were really nice and attentive, would recommend. Amy was great at helping organise the booking, and our waiter on the night was also brilliant.

We came as a group of 40+ and the service from Veronica and Thidar was amazing. They kept checking in on us and were really quick with all our requests - thank you!

Started off here before a Christmas party. Should have stayed, great atmosphere, great selection of beers, traditional London pub.

This was our Christmas sit down Lunch , We were really looked after by Amy and the team . it was a Christmas 3 course menu which was fantastic ,the venue upstairs was great and we had our own bar and barman (ed? ) Highly recommended for a sit down of 20 . Thankyou again King Stores Team

We had our annual Xmas sit down lunch for 18 people sit down upstairs . The service and food were exceptional . Amy was fantastic in her communication checking was ready for us to enjoy Christmas 3 course lunch !

The food here is outstanding. It is a little expensive, but it is definitelt worth it. The service is great and the choice of food is fine. The only query wuld be tables are a little close to one another and the wooden flooring and distressed brickwork walls mean that the noise is amplified. But I'll be going back in a few weeks again as it is still well worth it.

Best Roast Dinner I’ve had in a long time, great portions, delicious food

There was a football match on when we arrived so it was really loud and we couldn’t really talk to each other. It did clear out once the match had finished though. My sandwich and onion rings were cold when they arrived, this was not the case for the other 3 mains. My chips however were piping hot. I finished the meal with a slice of the lemon meringue cheesecake and OMG it was the best cheesecake I’ve ever had in a restaurant.

It’s a really nice pub if you get allocated a good table. We went to watch football and it depends on your seat. I’ve been the front part before which has atmosphere but this time it was the food section which has minimal/no sound as a rule which the staff stick to rigidly even if the majority of the people in the food section want to watch the game with sound. The rule is fine generally but they should make exceptions for big games, in my opinion. Watching football with no sound is a bit weird. The steak sandwich and chips were quite bad which was disappointing but the service was good even when busy.

Arrived early for our booking and the table was set and ready to go for us, have been here once before snd enjoyed it, so decided choose it as the spot to watch the rwc final. Only had fries and some drinks but the food that was delivered to other tables looked really good… might have to return for a full dinner ! Overall great lil spot !
