Only two people ahead of me in the queue after the post Junior Parkrun rush. I ordered two black americanos. After waiting a while I asked a passing waitress who said they were coming. After 15 minutes I asked for my money back which was given in cash & 20p short. I didn’t bother chasing. They shouldn’t be accepting orders when they don’t have capacity to make two coffees.

Friendly service and delicious hot chocolates. Perfect location for dog walks and a tasty treat afterwards. I'd definitely recommend The Pavilion to others.

Very over-priced for coffee and a cake. Coffee was lukewarm and staff not very friendly. Also service is super slow. As a big fan of Lidl brownies I’m fairly sure that’s what we were served at 5 times the price. Such a shame as it’s in a nice spot.

We were in a group of seven and spent over £30 on food and drinks. The only food they do for kids are snack boxes and my child who has additional needs, didn't like the sandwich options. As my child was starving, my husband brought him lunch from elsewhere. The owner saw this and told us that it was totally unacceptable and it's not allowed to consume food from another vendor on the premises. I quickly disposed of it and we remained seated, while receiving dirty looks from him every time he passed. I went and spoke to him, explained our situation and the fact that the menu is quite basic for children. He told me that there are signs on the tables forbidding the consumption of external food (there wasn't one on ours). Despite the fact that we'd spent over £30, he said it was unacceptable. So, we left. We've eaten and get takeaway coffees regularly from there over the years and the owner is not at all welcoming. I totally understand his business rules, but also an ounce of compassion to a regular customer would have been appreciated.

Honestly absolutely abhorrent. I heard the management team talk about their customers and users of nearby park in such derogatory terms it was shameful. The food is fine. They were accusing people if abuse and laughing behind their backs. They dont deserve your money.

We visit the park often but until this visit we had never thought about popping into the cafe but on this occasion we thought what the hell let's give it a shot. Great selection of snacks and drinks. Served quickly with very tasty food. We'll visit regular now.

Nearly choked at £8.20 for 2 mochas ! Mug full of froth, far too choclatey & not even that warm... hardly a venue to charge those prices - even sat inside, but especially not to sit at a picnic bench on decking outside. Normally like the vibe here during the day & its dog friendly but think id rather walk the 1/2 mile into city to get a decent cup with a soft seat in a cafe!

Brownie - very good Americano - alright Earl Grey - as you would expect though would have preferred a china cup rather than takeaway cup. Value - not cheap Service - terrible Had to complain twice about how long it was taking to get our drinks. Told there was a queue. Rubbish! They were too busy tidying up to get away sharp to spend two minutes ( which is how long it took for them to make the drinks once I got stroppy) getting our order. Whilst I was complaining a track from Belle and Sebastian’s “Dear catastrophe waitress” was on the sound system. Wish I had been sharp enough to point out the irony.

Great little spot to have breakfast, very dog friendly with bowls of water and even a dog menu. We had lovely link sausage rolls and our puppy had a link sausage chopped up in a bowl. Nice friendly staff and a covered seating area ideal for us outdoor lovers with dogs. Highly recommend.

Visited today and it was quite busy. No scones available although they were rather expensive at almost £4. We ordered 2 plain black teas ( £5.40 for two teabags 😳) The younger staff were very pleasant, but the older man was quite rude, telling us to wait outside for our tea. Not a conducive attitude to encourage a return visit 😔

Food was good, but we were frozen. They won't let you sit inside, and you have to use the adjacent public toilets. How bad does the weather need to be before you let your customers indoors? Also, you have to order at one side of the building then wait round the other side for your order. It all seemed a bit farcical to be honest. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Excellent outdoor cafe, well suited to the Covid situation with ordering at one side of the building and food delivered to your tale at the other. Good snack/breakfast menu at very reasonable prices with staff who are 'on the ball'.

We came across The Pavilion while walking though Kings Park and popped in for a coffee. The fact that there is extensive outside seating is a real bonus especially due to the pandemic. The service and coffee/ cakes were all very good.

Came here today after dog walk in the King’s Park. It was very busy so service was a tad slow but the amazing tuna baguette made up for that. A proper baguette, fresh and tasty. Covid measures in place and a vibrant atmosphere. Great staff who work very hard. Do come here if you happen to be around in the park.

We have visited a number of times & feel this cafe is not improving with time...went for an impromptu lunch couldn’t find the menus then noted the ‘temp menu’ on the chalk board. We opted for soup, our first choice was no longer available so we went for the second option of potato & chive with Parmesan crisp & shared a cheese & ham sandwich. What arrived was two bowls of what looked like wallpaper paste with green flecks through it, no taste nor seasoning & the sandwich was tuna, lucky I like tuna!On clearing our plates, I was asked if I’d enjoyed the soup (note our bowls were still half full). Not one for complaining, I did say that we hadn’t enjoyed it. The waitress explained it was a new chef, hence the temp menu but at least we tried it.At £3.90 for a bowl, thought we might have been offered a refund but no.This place has the possibility to be great but has just not impressed me of late. Think I’ll try the vast number of other new cafes in Stirling to see what they offer.

Love this cafe but was disappointed as no Mac and cheese the other day so had to go to Inn at Torbex ( good place too) due to temp menu. Will be back next week so hope it’s back on menu or the mushrooms on toast as both items are great.

Went with friends for lunch and it was warm enough for a table outside. We were served quickly and some of our orders came promptly but some things were lost in the ordering process and we had to do reminders. Once ordered a second time they turned up quickly. The ‘gourmet’ hummus and red pepper sandwich was nice enough but at 7 pound for the sandwich and a wee side salad that was a bit pricey. It really didn’t have much more than hummus and red pepper on brown bread. Other items seemed more reasonably priced. For example, one friend had the bacon, Brie and cranberry sandwich for a similar price so there just seemed a bit of inequity in the pricing. One of our group had the chocolate brownie which looked absolutely deliciously decadent and was deemed by a brownie aficionado to be ‘amongst the best brownie ever tasted’. So full of chocolate. It’s a nice place to gather and meet friends in the park and the staff were certainly friendly and attentive.

Been here once for lunch and 3times for carry out cake and cuppa! The lunch menu is quite restrictive but food did arrive quite quick. The chef was completely on the ball and started preparing the lunch as soon as I placed order. Do think the other members of staff need to react as fast ! Every time I’ve been in it has been at a quiet time yet the making of a cup of tea or coffee seems to take ages! There is no doubt that the cakes are homemade and delicious! Have tried empire biscuits and brownie which were both delicious. Think this good be a great wee addition to the kings park put few wee tips! More signage! Eg what drinks you have( so we don’t have to ask) , maybe different section to order takeaway to spead up service, let people know you do ice Cream! Over heard a man having to ask!, a gluten free cake would also be great! Lots of positives but quite a few snagging issues that need sorted.( this is information also gathered from other people who I spoke )

The Pavilion is a great hub to meet friends for a coffee; cake; breakfast roll in the morning. It’s easy to have a lunch or afternoon snack. There are cosy corner seats inside and a sunny deck area outside. It’s a dog friendly place and it’s near the play area. The staff are friendly and approachable making everyone feel welcome. The building was a tennis Pavilion and has been beautifully restored. You might want to walk around the park as part of your visit.

We have enjoyed visiting The Aizle many times over the past several years for both soup and a toastie or tea/coffee and cake. The staff are always friendly and efficient but the main attraction is the cakes which, although pricey are absolutely delicious. We had visited in May and had two teas and an americano coffee with hot milk and of course the cakes. Unfortunately, when we went there at the weekend, it is now apparently the practice to charge extra for the massive expense and effort involved in steaming a spoonful of milk to have with the coffee which means that a small cup of americano coffee which costs £2.65, presumably with cold milk, now has a surcharge of 75p, making it £3.40. We visit many restaurants and cafes and no-one else makes this additional charge so it really seems like greed. We won't be back.

With a few global giants nearby this independent knocks them for six in terms of quality and value. Recently reopened, post covid closure and I urge people to support this and other independent businesses, but only if they deserve it as this one clearly does. I had a bacon and a square sausage roll for breakfast and both were lovely. Returned on my last day for another bacon roll and had a couple of takeout rolls for later on the long train ride back home to Birmingham. Nice staff, nice place, deserves support. Recommended.
