Superb atmosphere, the staff is amazing, friendly!

Very very bad experience service was extremely bad Stupid staff. Just waste of money.

I’ve been a loyal customer for years and always looked forward to your mocktails—especially the Piña Colada served in a pineapple glass and the Mango Mojito, which were always made with care and full of flavor. However, my recent visit was incredibly disappointing. I ordered a Mango Mojito and was served what appeared to be a plain Mango Rubicon in a small cocktail glass, with no mint, no lime, and no resemblance to a mojito. When I raised this with the staff member who served us, he agreed that this was not how it should be made and advised us to speak to the manager. Unfortunately, the manager was dismissive and insisted that this is how it’s made—completely disregarding both the staff member’s comments and my past experiences. Not only did I receive a poorly made drink for £6.95, but I was also met with poor service and no apology. It felt like I was being made to look unreasonable for simply asking for what has always been your standard. I’d like to emphasize that when your usual female staff member makes the drinks, they are consistently excellent—so I know the quality you’re capable of. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that you address both the inconsistency in quality and the dismissive attitude from management. I’d appreciate a response and a gesture to restore the trust I’ve had in your establishment over the years

If you are looking to enjoy sheesha then this is not the place you want to go. Go for Oasis sheesha lounge it is 100× better than this garbage.

My experience was excellent for shisha and tea only, the place was spacious, and there were plenty of parking spaces.

They had really bad service even I couldn’t feel any flavour of that shisha that was worst shisha I ever had I recommend everyone to avoid this place That was my first time to be there and never back to this place 👎👎

The lounge was quiet when I visited on a Sunday afternoon. The staff were friendly and the Shisha was very nice. The only negative was that I had to ask for fresh charcoals after 1 hour as they hadn’t been changed.

Absolutely awful!! WOULD NOT VISIT! I’m extremely disturbed at the terrible service and awful shisha that followed not to mention the pervy tall guy who kept licking his lips at me and asking to talk to me privately It was an awful experience and would rather die than return to such an awful place.

Not even close to how good the original Shawarma King is. The female staff we had tonight were so rude! One was okay and offered to fix the mistake, but the glasses one needs to sort her attitude and not be so nasty to customers! They mucked up the order and it meant we had to return with our take away order. The attitude of the one on the till (lassie with glasses) was awful. Portions are smaller, prices the same, but the restaurant is dead but still the same wait time. Won’t be back again, King street forever! Sort it out guys!

Amazing milkshake, although disappointing shisha expeience. Unable to taste anything at all, although the staff tried 3 trimes to try and fix this. Real shame as i was looking forward to it. Also, the sport on TV is played with loud foreign commentary, which makes it difficult to enjoy. Certainly not somewhere I would recommend if traveling to Glasgow.

Great place to have some amazing food. I've been here a few times with friends who travel from Sheffield, and they love it just as much as me, maybe more. Foods always fresh and plenty to eat portion wise. The only downside is the staff there couldn't understand what we wanted to order and forgot an item, but it was quickly sorted when the waitress got someone else to us.

Food is very nice, so much love their wraps in Lounge and in takeaway on Kings St, this is definitely the best shawarma in Glasgow. Chicken wrap with extra pickles in + fresh pomegranate juice = ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Service was great, when it’s busy it takes a little bit longer, but usually it’s alright, so service really good. They have a good car park next to the lounge which is really comfortable. You can come with kids because place have kids menu and chairs. Place have nice and clean toilets, which is really important in Glasgow , so basically experience + food + satisfaction = 100% P.S. they have one more Lounge for shisha, haven’t tried yet, but definitely will try 🤩

I put 5 star for the service only because of Haroon he’s the best staff but the food service is a bit slow otherwise all of them are pretty good

Waited 10 minutes to be acknowledged when ordering takeaway, front of house staff couldn't be bothered to take my order, and all 3 girls looked like they didn't want to be there,food eventually arrived and it's certainly not a patch on their old place in King Street. Food was greasy and smelled greasy. Chicken had no seasoning and tasted bland, I was a regular customer at the old place but won't see me back here any time soon

Most awkward staff encounter ever - we sat down at a table, waited for about 15-20 minutes for the staff to come take our order and when we finally started to wonder if they ever would, we turned round to see them chatting amongst each other and rolling cigarettes! The restaurant was empty so there wasn't the issue of them being busy. Eventually we stood up an left, noone even asked questions or checked. Quite rude, wouldn't recommend.

Went for mocktails not the shisha. Place was too smokey to sit so we sat around the back which was not smokey. Drinks where nice.

Smoked sheesha(hookah) two times here and it was a good experience. One thing that they lag is that they don't allow to smoke cigarettes inside. Tea was also good.

Really given this place a new lease of life, shisha was smooth and on point. Inexpensive and drinks reasonably priced. Clean and tidy, hope they keep it up!

Great service, wide selection of coffee's and tea's and obviously many tastes of shisha. Comfortable seats and nice atmosphere. Number of TV's around the room incase a game is on.

The vibes weren't really there and shisha wasn't the best really to be honest with you, you best go urban, osias or velvet for a great time and wonderful vibes which includes 5* star services. Cause at the Quay I felt unwelcomed and my friend felt the same too .

Extraordinary place Let me explain why I said that : 1- The flavour: I’m smoker for more Than 10 years I used to do my own Shisha ( Double apple) in my country. However, when I moved to Glasgow , I searched all shisha lounges for double apple flavour , they all serve but None of them like The Quay Lounge 2- The staff: When I saw the old the reviews before going to lounge I was expecting the same as what was written. I found the staff from the receptionist to servers are very polite, patient, friendly and expert in shisha flavour 3- The environment : Based on my rotation on different shisha lounges, I found the quay lounge the only shop who have indoor and outdoor with very comfortable spaces and parking 4- the music To keep it short, the music is amazing and not loud you can speak with your friends without the need to speak loud Finally, Well I recommend it ? Definitely Recommended very amazing place

Awful experience, the shisha was not nice. The interior and sofas are disgusting. The sofas are full of holes and need replacing. They have this security man who walks around with a seriously bad attitude, I think he must have been on drugs. Really not needed. He thinks he’s in a action movie and he is Jason statham. Please !! You are better off going to oasis.

Visited today during my stay in Glasgow from Dubai, ordered apple & mint.. Was probably the worst apple and mint hookah I have had, the lounge was very large and looked well presented but had no atmosphere at all, very disappointed left after 15 minutes, staff didn't even bother to ask why myself and friends were leaving after such a short time, most of them were stood chatting against the counter.. Avoid at all costs.. Happy to take your money but don't provide a quality service came to Velvet Lounge had a apple & mint worthy of UAE standards..

Hasan the owner was welcoming and staff service superb. A bit too loud though. Music should be slower and toned down to suit the excellent effort on the venue layout.

Absolutely disgusting service. Took friends for their first ever shisha experience and the woman serving wanted us to pay for 4 shishas (£56). 1 for each of us. That's too much for people who aren't heavy smokers. She just couldn't care less. So ended up going velvet lounge, much better experience. Never coming back here again. Joke! U would have made your money from us in drinks and desserts etc.

Horrible customer service, Me and my friends stood in a line for 10 minutes while we got skipped by 3 different groups of people as they were regulars and we were not.

Disgusting shisha, don't know what they're doing. Change their policy too from one per person to one per two people on a whim. Go to Urban or Velvet instead and save yourself hassle. No social distancing, crammed onto a sofa with other groups. No masks. Avoid

Lady in front desk was rude, we were 4 people in total. Only 2of us were gonna smoke shisha but she was telling all of us need to buy one each or else we can't go in. The other 2 people doesn't even smoke in general.

One of the best places for Shisha in the town. Staff is always friendly and they can recommend great flavours. It is great place to chill and hang out with your friends.

Went with 2 other friends and we were told we had to buy 1 other shisha as it's 1 shisha per 2 persons. We explained that one of us doesn't smoke but that she would be happy to buy food/drink from the menu instead but we were still refused. We've been in before in larger groups and never had this issue but the staff member was adamant the rule has always been in force. Not had this issue with Velvet or Oasis ever. They also follow the correct rules for COVID-19, this place doesn't. The staff at the till also have no knowledge of shisha flavours, so if you have a question about one of the mixes/daily flavours they have no idea and just suggest the same old safe flavours.
