One of my favourite pubs in the Islington area. Such a chill atmosphere with good food and great staff. Jen & Prem in particular are awesome and elevate your evening!

very bland cosmo without any taste - worst olives we ever had, straight from the jar. Feels like a tourist trap or just like a day when the servers were having a very bad day.

Such a lovely pub, one of my favourites! It’s so warm and cozy with the candles and fireplaces, and as a massive fan of theatre, the decor and vibe is perfect! An amazing selection of drinks, including two shelves of different gins - my faves! Staff at the pub and the theatre are so friendly and helpful as well :)

Love this pub, a local favourite. Cosy fireplaces (two!) and a great wine and gin selection. Staff are friendly and the interior is beautiful, lots of pictures of old shows and actors on the wall. Great that the theatre’s inside, too. Nice mixed crowd, doesn’t feel pretentious. It feels like a ‘proper pub’. Warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back!

Very lively pub with simple but v tasty food, the blue cheese and ham toastie is delicious. Saw a quirky show from the fringe too so, all in all, a smashing night!

We had a booking in the restaurant next door and as I was quite early I went in to this pub for a couple of drinks. They have an excellent selection of wine and drinks available, comfortable seating, friendly crowd and very friendly and helpful staff. I will definitely visit here again when in the area or even plan to come here again as it was a really nice pub.

We came across this little gem when out and about in Islington. The traditional outside appearance continues inside whit lots of mahogany and cosy atmosphere. We decided on having some wine as they had nice selection and cheese board which came lovely presented. Service was great too! Professional and friendly which made our visit even better. We will definitely come back here soon.

My husband and I visited last week. What a wonderful pub. We had a sharing board which was delicious. Great choice of drinks. Lovely atmosphere. Aga who served us was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely visit again and highly recommend.

What a lovely, traditiinal English pub! Came here a few days ago and was surprised by the attentive service, great drink selection and the amazing atmosphere. The team members were very attentive to all customers and the service was smooth and efficient. Must visit when strolling up and down on Upper Street! Will be back for sure as they do live music too!

We went to the recent panto and loved the experience. Although small the views over people were good and the venue wasn't too hot (as alot of smaller venues can be). The pub itself has a great atmosphere.

The team were kind enough to host us and our few guests for a couple of post-wedding drinks on Saturday, laid up tables with Prosecco and glasses beforehand, and gave us the space to do this safely. Thank you for giving us that special moment!
