Great value for coffee! Cheapest americanos in east London. Great vegan options. Love the oat milk. Go there a lot.

Coffee is very hit of miss. Sometimes it’s great, sometimes it’s burnt and bitter. Suggest the staff sample it each morning, on a few occasions it was so bad I had to throw it away! Coffee used to be consistently great so not sure what changed.

Very cosy and a good cafe to sit out and chat. Got good options for quick grabs and smoothies and hot and cold drinks. Located on Goswell road. Very comfy couches to sit around.

This place is constantly packed and we ask WHY? It's the definition of Froth in a Cup

Good coffee, service, and food options. However to my taste, it has a couch coffee vibe instead of many tables and the music was a bit loud. Also found it a bit expensive. Would personally not come back as it is not my vibe, but coffee if it is.

disgusting staff, lots of unrequested comments and even mocked by the short blonde barista. I got up and left after i ordered without collecting my order as comments and giggles didn’t stop even when we sat down and they made my partner very uncomfortable. For an “inclusive” cafe we expected nicer people and better service rather than being spoken to in disgust and little to no hospitality.

just arrived in the city and live around the corner. finding a place that feels homey is hard in any big city, but the baristas and staff here always make me feel welcome :)

Had an americano and banana bread, the banana bread was really good! Coffee as usual nothing to say here. Ambiance was chilled and I loved it. People were very friendly, overall 5 stars from me.

Best cafe in Clerkenwell. The coffee is the best I've had outside of Melbourne (where it's a religion) and the staff are unbelievably friendly and kind (they always say hello and have a treat for my dog Jaxon). Food is scrumptious and it's set up well if you want to work from there.

Simply the best place for an all inclusive good time

Delicious coffee and they don't charge extra for vegan milk which is a big plus. The staff is so lovely and will put a smile on your face. The café is large and has plenty of seating options. Prices are very reasonable. It is the best café in the area.

On the day I went in I was “greeted” by arrogant, uncommunicative staff too busy looking at their phones to serve you with any kind of civility. They didn’t even bring the coffee or the food to the table when it was not busy and harder not to do it than actually do it. Again they were too busy looking at their phones. A black coffee, a flat white and two small sausage rolls for £18 all served with a look of distain. In fairness I saw them treat some people with dogs in a friendly manner, which was nice to see, just not some of the human customers, and the sausage rolls and chutney were good, but once again a place with people working in it that seemingly couldn’t care less about their attitude. And please put your phones down and look at people when they are giving you their business and their money is paying your wages. It is just the friendly and decent thing to do. There is no pleasure in writing a bad review, but there is also no pleasure in going in to a place for a nice time and being treated like they are doing you an unwanted favour. I’m so tired of giving money to people with a terrible, unfriendly, attitude.

It's almost perfect. Couches, plenty of space, decent coffee, free WiFi, charging ports... The ultimate place to work/study. However, they blast terrible, obnoxious music the entire time. Why. No one wants to listen to some energetic trap or reggaeton while they are trying to work. Put on some background music, elevator jazz or something at a low volume, let people hear themselves think. Would be 5 star of they changed this.

I absolutely love this coffee shop in Clerkenwell! The ham and cheese croissant is my go-to, and the coffee never disappoints. What sets this place apart is the incredible staff – they're all exceptionally nice, making it a truly special spot. It's my go-to place during work breaks.

My favourite place in London to grab a drink. Best cortado I’ve tried in this town, and they make a good matcha latte as well. The ladies behind the bar are super friendly and I love that they remember me and my usual drink. Comfy couches and lots of vegan options for food. Plus all the drinks can be made vegan.

Very good ambience. They have nice sofas and it’s a perfect place to meet friends or read novels or do your own work on laptops. The music is 👌🏼

Open early, great for a hot cuppa before work 😊 Lots of extra seating and loos downstairs.

Arrived, waited 15 min to be served, had time to complete a crossword and go to bathroom, got served and ordered a muffin, tea and Americano as I got them was told “Sorry, the shop is closing you have to leave” I didn’t want a takeaway and asked for a refund, was denied, I should have known the shop shut at 6. Some advice: 1. if you close at 6, at 5:30 only serve takeaways. 2. Take down the anti Tory poster in the window. You are the Tories.

Fave local coffee shop - love this place

Not sure what people are moaning about on here, they must have been to a completely different coffee shop. The coffee here is the best I have come across in London - much, much better than any of the chains. Decor inside is comfortable and welcoming (lots of comfy chairs). Staff are always pleasant and friendly.

Perfectly located for visitors to the Indian Consulate in Goswell Road. A welcome oasis of hospitality during a long wait. Friendly, informal atmosphere and delicious own recipe Christmas drinks.

Like many others I popped in here before embarking on the arduous task of submitting my application for an Indian visa at VFS Global a few doors away. I was very impressed with the coffee and so had a second, and this time ordered food - a vegan sausage roll and an orange-flavoured cake of some kind. Both items were absolutely delicious and pretty good value for London. They were enough to last me the three hour wait at VFS Global and my trip home.

Here with my parents, both of whom are disabled. We came to get our visas for a trip to India (to do a ceremony for my sister, she passed away from illness in December 2022). This place is the best coffee shop I've visited in England, and I was born in England. Where I live, my parents and I are consistenly discriminated. Here we were treated with dignity, as equitable humans. It is refreshingly lovely here, we had no "colonial gendered race tax" to pay here - thank you so much for this place. I wish there were more places and people like here!

Lovely dog friendly place with a very nice range of drinks/food etc including good vegan options and WiFi etc Feedback: to get 5 stars 1/ please give customers itemised receipts as routine so they can see what each item costs and know if there are errors etc 2/ the cold brew coffee was unsweetened- please make that clear before people order. Other cold items we ordered (tea) were sweetened by default so this is inconsistent

My local coffee shop! It’s a great place for people like me that enjoy working on the laptop in a quirky environment with brilliant coffee on offer! I can always vibe with the messages and values in this place, there is always something to keep your brain occupied in here whether that be the neon lights, Boris bands, reading the C**T mugs or trying out all the different sofas haha! This is the most unique coffee shop you will find in London, I have been coming here for my Vanilla Latte’s for over 6 years and have not found a better vibe anywhere else. The staff are brilliant and are always on hand. The sofas are great and the high ceilings really add to the shops character. Seriously disappointed with my lukewarm frappe which was handed to me as if there was nothing wrong with it. I asked for them to put some ice cubes in but I feel robbed considering it's the most expensive coffee there. They could have given me a free cookie to make up for this. I've torn my loyalty card as I'm not coming back.

Reasonable price for Americano, Latte and muffin, for central London. Nice atmos, only criticism was that muffin seemed poss a day old, not same day baked. Otherwise really good.

Simply popped in to buy a sandwich on route to work. Due to inefficiencies of the staff behind the counter, there was a laid back attitude to serving people promptly and it was taking forever to process people's orders. I waited nearly 15 minutes to make my purchase, while coffee was brewed for 3 or 4 people in front of me. Total disrespect for those waiting, no apologies for the delay. When I asked simply to pay for my sandwich, quite exasperated at this point, I was told to wait while the assistant (smirking) loaded up the coffee machine with beans. By the time I left, the queue was out of the door. Pathetic!

Got food poisening for 3 days from the pulled pork sandwich

The most rudest man ever answered the phone. Honestly no point going here. He genuinely has no respect for people and they act like they are a hip hang out but talk to people disgustingly. Do not go here if you would like good customer service. Not worth the money and other coffee places around are far greater.
