Kings Head Chepstow in Monmouthshire

Stayed in accommodation above doesn’t say anything on booking.com about load music being played till early hours absolute joke no need for it at all on a Tuesday night aswel 🥱🤯

Waitress is nice, environment is good and has a pool table.

Nice friendly pub good atmosphere everybody chatty friendly staff and good music till late 👌

Can’t comment on the overnight stay But if you disagree with anyone that claim they rule the roost you get kicked out

I went for the Thursday open mic night, had a ball, locals were friendly and supportive. Can't wait for the next one.

The King's Head chepstow is a friendly local pub to many and a great pub to people visiting you will always find friendly staff who are happy to help and a great music and outdoor garden venue....its a must if in chepstow especially there games nights, karaoke and fancy dress also live music is always great 👍 well done Leo, G and all the staff....

Do not recommend the accomodation at all. Very noisy karaoke and disco on the ground floor until 2am. Toilet and bathroom are on the corridor's end, toilet seat is wonky. Non existing customer service, landlord is very rude.

We stayed in the accommodation above the pub. The electrics to the table lights went off (or on) as I plugged in my phone charger so there was a dangerous short somewhere. Music was very loud until 2am then there was lots of swearing outside for at least another hour. Pop in for a drink, but I would avoid for accommodation.

Good pub good game of darts there aswell only let down when is says they're open up online and when you get there its closed?? Happened a few times now

Stayed the night at their hotel. Did not enter the pub. The room was spectacular 👌.

I haven't been in the Kings Head for years. I was on a hen do recently and we ended the evening in here. We just had one drink. The staff were pleasant and polite, but I thought the pub had gone downhill and was a bit of a dive to be honest! Music playing, some tables and chairs and a dance floor. Won't be in a rush to go back - sorry!

Always a great time in the King's head, Emma and John are always friendly and welcoming. Couldn't recommend this place enough!

Good place, stayed for 2 nights in the large room. Good lager and well priced, friendly and helpful bar staff. Toilet, bath, shower and rooms were to an excellent standard. Only annoyance was the side door with code got stuck when I returned late. Also, the door handle to my room was loose, not a massive issue as I tightened it but I did ask for a screw driver and didn't get one to sort the issue. There was music going on until closing time. I was in my bed and I hear NOTHING! It was great! 100% would book again.

A decent selection of beers and ciders. Ample room and friendly enough. The decor could use some work, and a wider selection of ales - if not on tap, then in bottles - would be nice. Centrally located to the town, though,which is nice.

Just had a wonderful roast dinner whilst they accommodated a small party for a close friend. Fantastic staff and great food!

Popped in Sunday evening. They normally stop serving Sunday dinner at 6pm, but they offered to put together a meal for us regardless. Result! Food was great & included pudding! and the service was second to non. So friendly, and they couldn't do enough for us. Made for a great evening 😀 Highly recommended. It's the people that make all the difference. Check it out.

Staff - rude - too young to be behind a bar with such a bad attitude / customer service We asked for 2 pints of Stella - but it was served in a NON STELLA glass - yes this does make a difference. Our Stella went flat - wrong glass Asked the young lad for a Stella glass only to be told that i had to be grateful it was in a glass - and he didn't have any Stella glasses - as they were dirty - DISGUSTING RUDE ATTITUDE

Lovely freshly decorated pub,, Sunday lunch is great but the menu in the week is just as good, I had a home made lamb pie,,delicious Serves local brewed beer, and one of the only places in Chepstow I can buy a sparkling J20,, TVs and darts board, but also comfty sofas for a lazy coffee and cake,,
