Kings Chef 88 in Blackpool

We always order from here but since they left just eat their service is terrible, orders have been late, tonight's order was no exception which would have been fine but we had an item missing, tried to call the restaurant, lady answered, didn't give me chance to say anything, told me it was on the way and hung up, we thought this may have been the missing item but now realise she meant the order itself... have been ringing for the last hour and they're now avoiding calls, we won't be ordering again now. Avoid!!

Chicken was slimey didn't eat it , the rice was grim

After waiting for just over an hour, food arrived, cold and not presented very appetisingky. I ordered from these as they are just across the road from me, but as i am disabled and housebound thought it would be a nice change. Im sorry to say that I will not be using this establishment or recommending them again

Ordered food at 6.50ish and it said it was on it's way at 7.14pm but we didn't receive the food until 7.50pm

Got my order wrong… I don’t know how it’s written down.

Meal said it was delivered at 18.45 but only got it at 19.10! Food was really cold and had to microwave it. I’m a vegetarian and I ordered veg black bean no meat and I found a piece of chicken in it!!! No a good meal

Food was all upside down looked terrible food was all mixed together.we rang to explain this being advised by just eat one lady was lovely and said that it had had probably Been dropped and would replace the order.we waited an hour and called back to get a response of tuff your not getting it back and said she was the delivery driver I would not mind but 34 on food there loss

Great food as always. The Green Thai Curry was a bit spicy but it tasted great anyway. I couldn't stop eating although my mouth was on fire. Good portions too. Definitely ordering again here. ☺️👍

We never recieved our order on Xmas eve . When trying to call the chinese we couldn’t get through as I expect it was extremely busy . We got a call at 11.30 pm saying our order had been delivered but no one was in ?? We was all sat in the lounge . I have requested a refund through just eat but this hasn’t got to my bank as yet . We will still use the Chinese as it’s the only time it hasn’t come and the food is lovely .

Was very late, it's boxing day so I understand it is busy but the solution is to not accept orders you can't handle. Very dissapointing, a waste of money

Food hasn't turned up but they marked it as delivered. Waited an hour past the expected delivery time. Called the restaurant and it was either busy or rang out so we were unable to contact them to find out what was happening.

Late? I didnt even get it? Not happy zero stars ... sat waiting hungry for an order they couldn't be bothered to deliver ... would not order from here again

I waited over an hour for my food, which is fine until it said it was delivered when it hadn't been. I rang the restaurant to be told that they couldn't check the status with the kitchen and put the phone down.. When the food finally arrived it was substandard at least, the sweet and sour was mixed with the rice, so soggy rice and dry meat. Would never of ordered this if knew it came like that, didn't want an all in 1 meal if I did I would of asked for that. Ribs fatty and tough, salt and pepper chicken, no spice just excessive salt. Chips that were mainly hollow and greasy, they looked like were cooked the day before and left sitting in the oil all night, only thing nice was the free prawn crackers... all in all Disgusting food and service.

My wife decided to treat us to a nice Chinese meal for christmas & my Son & I ordered all our favourites costing £30. The food arrived an hour late, it was freezing cold, inedible & ended up in the bin. The restaurant blamed the delivery company quoting firstly the wrong address, then secondly a shortage of drivers. If you have a shortage of drivers then inform the customer at point of sale & don't give a delivery time that is unrealistic. Spoilt my night & cost us £30 for the disappointment.

The food is great but the delivery times are awful! Because it takes so long the food can be cold?!…. I do have a microwave tho

Spot on couldn’t fault it food went a bit off but used again and things have improved excellent standards again

Food items missing from order. How do we get a refund on this?

Totally unhappy today, there was enough chilli to sink a battleship making the food totally inedible, fried mushrooms were tasteless and you could taste the grease they had been cooked in, gross…. At a guess this is a new chef who doesn’t have a clue about seasoning or balance. I normally give this restaurant 10/10 but if I could today would be 0/10 for food quality, very disappointing indeed.

I’ve used king chef numerous times it’s always been great but this time it was late and half the stuff was burnt the chow mien was not even eatable such a shame

I have used this takeaway on many occasions however this order was terrible duck in lemon sauce very dry no sauce and both portions of food were cold very dissatisfied

Take of the food is phenomenal but I could only suggest to put little less onions and more vegetables like brocoli, red and green pepper or beans. That could be a perfect match. Otherwise thank you for food 👏👍

Fast delivery altho fish was too soggy; chips tasted old.

Lovely food. Special Omelette is much nicer with peas. Just my personal preference. First one I’ve had without peas tbh. More pork too. However, very nice. Thank you.

Cold food, my lemon chicken had a film on it. It can only be described like opening a can of dog food. The delivery driver had the dirtiest hands I’ve ever seen. I think he’d been gardening. I will never order from this establishment again!

Took way too long ordered at 8:30 and didn’t receive my order til 10:30 wasn’t happy my rice was mixed with my prawn in black bean sauce which made it all soggy but on flavor it was nice

First time I have ordered from Kings Chef 88 but with this high quality of food in large portions which was delivered very fast it will definately not be the last order - thanks.

Maybe a little bit pricey, but I'd rather pay a little bit more for quality. Lovely and large portions. If we order a Chinese this is or local now.

They didn’t get the order right instead of chicken chow mein we got sweet n sour chicken with bones in the chicken.

As always the food is great abs tasty, plenty to eat, fast and speedy service, polite drop off

We had a call over an hour after the order was placed to say they were short on drivers and that it would still be still be 30-40 minutes. I said I would just pick it up instead as it was only 10 minutes away. Picked it up and they did knock off the delivery charge but it’s appalling that we were only told this after already waiting over an hour. Such a shame as the food was very nice.

I eat out alot and had many Chinese meals before ..but I sad to say that this must be the worst Chinese I ever had !! Sory it was ice cold..my salt and pepper ribs was stone cold and dry ..the combination of dimsun for two .. ice cold the ribs fat was actually like butter on the bone .. and tasted very dry ..we didn't even eat most of it as it was uneatable .. and cold I mean if you spent 27. Pounds on a take away you need to know your game ..I will never eat from this restaurant again .. sadly

The quality of the food was nothing to complain about however. I ordered pork balls and chicken balls. And got 2x chicken balls. An understandable mistake but a mistake non the less.

The food was TASTELESS, I ordered a prawn chow mein and it was absolutely disgusting, also the chicken chow mein tasted like it was burnt. The mushrooms were as salty as the sea. Also the rice was disappointing and bland including the PRAWN CRAKERS. Orverall it was embarrassing and I don't recommend eating here.

Usually the food is great. Today it was not. The rice and chow mein was undercooked and flavourless. The ribs were overcooked and chewy and had barely any meat on them. The chicken balls were chewy. This is not the usual good standard of food that i normally receive. I did not enjoy it at all, most of the food was thrown in the bin. What a waste of £40! Very disappointed.

I ordered a Prawn Thai green curry! It wasn't curry there was no coconut milk used as far as I could tell it was more like chilli prawns there was no sauce! It was very salty I could not sleep through a raging thirst and I had a reaction to something used and was itching all over! I will be contacting food standards at the council

Food was lovely and piping hot which was a surprise, our local shop doesn’t even get it still piping hot. Arrived a little late but it is Friday night so I’m happy to make allowances. Will defo order again .

Rice was too salty the chunks of meat too big

We will never order from here again. It came 150 minutes after ordering it plus I rang up 6 times. 3 times I was cut off and when he did speak he said he would have to look for the order. When I rang again he said it would be another 20 mins when it actually was 50mins. Very poor.
