Great pub freindly staff and service

Visited for pub quiz. Friendly staff and patrons. Alcohol was so cheap. Really enjoyed the evening

Walked in as a nervous stranger. But immediately felt relaxed. A local with great people.

Friendly traditional 'wet' pub. Good selection of Draft lager, cider and ales at reasonable prices. (Less than £4 a pint) Skittle alley, pool table, beer garden and regular card games nights. Show Sky TV football too.

Proper pub with reasonable prices and great music. The owners are willing to go the extra mile to move with the times and satisfy clientele. A recent visit confirmed that nothing has changed. Len glasses, good beer and drinks, reasonable prices, and a great landlord.

There was a darts tournament held there on Friday late afternoon/night, excellent event and met quite a lot of darters, locals and from the surrounding areas from Cardiff to Pontyclun. Brilliant night and very well organised.

My first time there I would definitely go there again all the staff was so friendly and helpful Sorry I didn't mention food that is because I went there to see the fantastic band Boogiemen Thank you Anne x

First time visiting this pub and I really enjoyed the atmosphere on fight night. Very homely feel Extremely clean and tidy with lots of different areas that suit everyone I didnt have food so I can’t comment on that

Hatch Bakery Pizza was amazing and fantastic value for money!

Nice bar/lounge. Popped in with family after a family funeral. Nice place, not to loud even with the jukebox.

We've just moved to Barry and were looking for a new local(ish!) pub. Thank God we found this one!! It's amazing, we loved everything about it, from the locals to the lovely beer garden and everything in between!!

I rarely visit 'the billy' these days but, it's always a pleasure when I do, v.good service and a greeting! Also able to find good company amongst the regulars which always leads to me extending my visit!🙂🙂🙂

Had our sons christening here. The skittle hall and terrace are a lovely space - a few of our guests were taken back by just how good the area is! The whole pub is clean and fresh, staff all excellent and plenty of them. Would highly reccomend for any parties/receptions etc. Thank you.

This was our second visit to the Billy. On both occasions we were made welcomed. Great atmosphere can't wait until all social distances are lifted to get back to normal and see if the Billy has any entertainment coming back. We really enjoyed both visits

This pub is shut at the moment. But you have a good landlord and it gets very busy

Always a friendly welcome, down to earth Cadoxton people. They keep a good pint and hot dogs before the away games are lush and only a pound too.

I only live just up the road and have never been there before. What a lovely friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go there again .

Didn't like the fact there was a family Male member there thinking it was ok to go behind the bar and interfere in everything . Even though he was asked to go away from behind the bar .

Absolutely great place to catch up with friends an have a few drinks the place is so welcoming great atmosphere would highly recommend to a friend an family.

The in place to be! Plenty of different bars to suit different clientele. Can't beat the beer garden in the warmer months and there's also an undercover seating area outside for those that don't worship the sun. Great place to hold a party, buffets can be provided in house by the lovely Gina and they are second to none and great value for money!! Not to mention it's under 3 quid a pint!!

Went there on boxing day. It was okay, they could have done with more staff behind the bar as it was quite busy. It would also have helped if people had cleared the bar after being served! Not a very good selection of beers just the normal fodder. As an ale drinker I struggled to find anything I liked so reluctantly went for Doombar as it was the best of a bad bunch but after one pint they ran out and I was reduced to drinking Newcastle Brown!!!
