I usually like King Pizza and it does great food. And normally I’m not one to make complaints however tonight I’m rather disappointed. I ordered some food online at around 4:30pm and asked for it to be delivered for 7:00pm. It turns up at 5:00pm. Yes, it sounds like a petty complaint but if it has instructions like that it should be followed, I would suggest if future orders come through to be delivered at a specific time that the restaurant contacts the customer to make sure they definitely want it delivered at that time (I could for example have been out at work or anything). Yes, it’s not a huge issue but to say I’m disappointed tonight is an understatement. I won’t be ordering from here for a good while now

Tried getting a delivery took payment but when rang up they claimed they been mad busy and are shutting early so can't accept the order now gotta wait 2-3 days for the money to go back into my account

In the past when I've ordered, the food was always decent and the service has always been good. But I ordered last night after a long time of not going there and unfortunately the food couldn't be eaten. I got the chicken and rice box. But the chicken tasted like mold? I thought maybe I was just being fussy and the charcoal/black bit was maybe just strong on the first piece so tried one without any black bits on it but even that tasted just off. The only thing it reminded me of was mold. It was nasty unfortunately and all had to be binned.

The best pizza/kebab in widnes, you only need to visit to see the cleanliness of the place, it is all on show, great staff who are always courteous, and wide variety

Ordered chocolate calzone and they delivered a pizza 🤔 they closed by the time I opened the box as I ate my normal food first I'm calling them back tomorrow hopefully they will fix the issue

Couldn't add an extra to my pizza that was payed for offerd the money back for it but if that's what you want just don't order it in the first place 🤷 should be able to read there Owen orders and was very cold on arrival. Just go HENRY'S an play it safe ..

Exceptional food and the cleansiness and unbelievable hot tasty food u can get. The best grilled chicken Kabab I've ever had and beats the rest of Widnes takeaways by far. Well done to u all who make this fabulous business thrive every day

Cheese burger very tasty proper burger not cheap mush at all even the cheese was proper would 100 percent recommend them glad we took the chance

We are regulars here at kings we get 3 chicken cheese twister raps, 3 popcorn chicken and chips and Dr pepper. The service is fast and priced well. We think it is one of if not the best takeaway in widnes

They always get your order wrong so make sure you put something in the comments if ordering online to make sure they Do Not mess it up

Food was beautiful. Woman on the phone was horrible. Cut off when I was trying to place my order then when I phoned back was very short and cut off again. Can't fault the food, just the staff.

Food is really good but who ever the lady is that works there is nothing but rude asked me what I wanted an as I started talking she buttoned the call I rang back an she was just argumentative because she wasn’t able to keep up with an order and kept getting things wrong she doesn’t deserve to work there and to have that attitude i can’t believe she even got the job

Lovely food. The only thing is I ordered two Ben and Jerrys strawberry cheesecake ice cream tubs and received a piece of strawberry cheesecake and a piece of chocolate cheesecake. Kids not impressed 😂😂

We fancied a change from our regular kebab place. The order was correct, the food was hot and very tasty. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes. I do appreciate that they are busy. So that wasnt a problem. Cheesy chips and donner meat wity hot chilli sauce was lovely. Might meaty calazone and Garlic bread with cheese was very tasty and delicious. We will order again in the future. Thank you.

Went in last night 2 chicken wraps , all I can say is I should have stuck with Henry’s

Order was completely wrong. Ordered a Donner and chicken calzone. Not a single piece of chicken in it. Asked for the salad a sauce to be separate but was all inside. Chips were like rubber. The garlic and cheese calzone hardly had any filling in it.

We ordered a pizza at quarter to 7 waited over two hours fr food when we got it it was warm definitely won't be using them again

Portions used to be decent, ordered a calzone and a wrap online last night, hardly any filling in the calzone, minimal salad on the wrap. What’s gone on guys?!?!

Order something on its own and they will always add chips and charge you more. Happened 3 times now. My latest pickup, I called them out on it again and they emptied the chips i didnt order out of mt tray and back in the fry basket for the next customer. Disgusting. Con artists. Avoid.

Excellent quality food which has always been fresh and hot. Staff have always been genuinely friendly and polite. Delivery is always quick and reliable. By far the best quality in the area.

Driver got lost many times, try updating your sat navs. Food arrived freezing cold and then get a knock at the door saying payment hadn’t gone through, even though it was through just eat (not to bothered about that as these things happen). The main problem was the fact that it turned up cold “again”. Can’t be arsed with this place anymore, shame as it used to be good years ago. Seriously don’t recommend.

Ok so, usually when I order from here it it amazing and definitely for the price. However when I ordered today the pizza was undercooked and there was multiple hairs on it . The chicken was also full of fat and the batter on it was oily and soggy which is weird considering it’s always good . I get if a pizza place is busy they may need to rush but I’d rather wait longer than I did for editable food rather than thirty minuets for bad food.

Ordered at 1910. Sat till 2100 Waiting ended up goin to collect it only to be told they had not even made it due to been busy Shocking how they can keep taking orders and not even have it cooked ready to go.

Kebab wasn't that great and disappointing.

Such a shame because the food is lovely. Every time I've ordered from here the delivery has taken 90+ minutes meaning that we usually collect.. i gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered for a delivery as a one off. After 2hrs my food had still not arrived and i was told "it was on its way" after a further 35 minutes i decided to ring the restraunt and cancel the order which was still apparently "on its way" so i dread to imagine the state of the food if it'd been sat with the delivery drive for 35+minutes. Unfortunately will not be ordering again or recommending.

I had great pizza 🍕 I never had it before,pizza is my favourite food and king pizza is the best, I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants eat nice pizza.

Used to be amazing. Not so much anymore. Pizza has gone terrible, thin hardly any topping. Chicken from the kebabs has changed, really thin like its not breast, maybe thigh. Expect to wait around 2 hours for even the most basic order. Then when it comes it's freezing. Not sure what's happened but will give it a miss after today

It's a really nice high end looking takeaway inside and I hope the people who work there keep the same motivation as they had when they first opened as it was faultless. Everytime I've ordered food from here I've been satisfied with what I've got for the price ive paid and had no issues. Unfortunately, the delivery the fee has made me stop going here though and start going elsewhere for takeaway. If I'm paying £3 delivery and it's taking my order close to £20 im just going to walk to asda and buy a pizza for £3.50 which would actually be better quality anyway.

Tried this place for the first time, I was hoping to finally find a decent kebab house but was let down. Ordered a mixed kebab, whilst there was a lot of meat was mostly donner, I was hoping it to be a mix, was hoping for some chicken, especially for the price . Meat was bland. Naan wasn’t really a naan, more like a pitta bread. The hunt continues for a decent kebab house

Staff have zero experience in pizza section coz just had one slice of the worst pizza in my entire life, even my car sticks as I picked the pizza up, and I even give them £2.50 tips!! What a joke!!

Ordered a charcoal mixed kebab, food was cold and had no lamb.. pitta tasted stale and limited salad for £2.30.. asked for salt and vinegar on chips, not done and they were really dry like they had been re-cooked. Will save my £20 next time. Ordered from here before and usually spot on to be fair, tonight’s order has put me off ordering again.

Ordered tonight only to wait an hour and a half to phone a girl on the end of the phone to be told the website is down. So I confirmed my order and said delivery no peppers on the volcano pizza as I am allergic to peppers and she confirmed she definitely wrote down no pepper. Lord behold the delivery turned up 25 minutes later ..... and had peppers, my partner had the pizza were I was left with the garlic bread. This place has gone down hill lately and will no longer be ordering from here. I suggest you don't if you want a long wait to not even have your order deliver and when it does show up be wrong.

Listen I get these businesses are busy at time and the weather aint the best,but when you do a pre order and your delivery specifies it'll be there for 5pm latest and it doesn't turn up until 5.50pm this is bad enough.then to have the order turn up "COLD" this just makes the whole thing worse....I called twice to see where the order was up to, and was met with " it's out for delivery " no timeline,no apology or anything..lest to say THIS was my 1st and last order to kings pizza ..

Ordered from king lots of times and have never had a bad meal. The food is always excellent and the customer service is brilliant. We ordered tonight and they were very busy, we rang to check on delivery times and they were so apologetic, we couldn’t fault them, we only waited an hour which was brilliant considering how busy they were. Shocking service delivery time stated 50-60 mins, no sign of food after 1hr20mins later! Called to chase the order got told it was out for delivery, half hour later still no sign! Total time waited 1hr50 given up as they tried to ‘find out what happened to it’ I know you never made it!!!

Ordered a few times now in the last couple of weeks, pizza cold and greasy on both occasions so decided to try chicken burger. Order was stated as chicken burger lettuce only and cheese if possible. Opted for no sauce option but it arrived covered in Mayo. I could not eat is a I hate Mayo so therefor in the bin it went. Wont be ordering again, it’s gone crap for some reason. Shame as I have left good reviews in the past as food was spot on but have had issues with the last few orders. Will stick to Widnes kebab house in future.

I pulled off the cheese topping to find chicken underneath!!!!!! Waste of money.

My 1st choice when it comes to eating pizza or kebabs.

We have ordered from here many times and I have always thought I was ordering from a good clean takeaway. Two weeks ago my son got a kofta kebab bit into it and found a snail shell.. no words can describe the disgust that we felt. My partner went into king the next day to speak to the manager. He was not available but the man she spoke to took her number and said he would ring her back. She discreetly showed him the photos as there were customers in the shop, he asked her how it had got there?? said that he had found something in his fish once and that meat comes from the manufacturers...No word's..I hope I can upload the photos to this review too. Will never eat here again. The manager has never got in touch to date. Only rated it 1 star as you can't rate it lower.

My wive ordered for us a couple nights ago and during the process of wrapping up the order pricing came up the order taker was off R12 and she supposedly corrected it but have I got my home and saw my American Express acct she still over charged me wasn't happy about but however the pizza was the best I've tasted in my life freaking amazing.

Ok so first ever time trying king pizza and oh my word it was absolutely gorgeous ( everyone who knows me knows I’m the fussiest madam when it comes to food ) I had the chicken rice box with garlic mayo and oh good god I couldn’t get enough of it , chicken was that fresh and hot it melted in mouth full of flavour and rice ( even at 2 am in the morning ) was so delish not bland full of flavour and I just loved it !!! I’ll be ordering there most night for my chicken and rice as I’m on a health kick and it’s very tasty !!! 🖤🖤

Just recently started ordering from here, now I am addicted. There pizza is fantastic and always arrived in time and most importantly is I piping hot. The amount of cheese you get is brilliant compared to the other pizza companies I was using in Widnes. Love it and keep up the good work.
