King Kebab in Northampton

Orderd a chicken burger, recieved a cheeseburger. Told them i was allergic to milk and they kept on insisting i ordered a cheeseburger... why would i order something I'm allergic too. Rude staff that cant handle a complaint and dont care for customer health

Absolutely awful customer service,staff don't know how to speak to customers when complaints are made they just put the phone down.Food awful, ordered a chicken kebab and it looked like curry and the doner kebab with salad was a soggy and unapertising mess they both went in the bin.Complete waste of £18.00 won't be ordering from them again. Would have given no stars if I could.

A lovely place if you like a 2 hour wait with no updates before receiving your stone cold, soggy kebab with rock hard cold chips.

I used to order every day, but now they won't deliver to me any more 🤷‍♂️ disappointed ex-customer. Food was always great, but service is dreadful

Most of the staff can't even speak a proper sentence of english yet they have the nerve to be rude to customers and even swear at them over the phone. Store is filthy, you know the rest. Lost another customer and you'll lose alot more because of this. Disgusting business and disgusting ill-mannered employees.

Pizza ordered at 7.35 told delivery would be at 8.05/8.25 it turns up late 9pm. Cold pizza, order incorrect. When I rang then to tell them, I got “you’ve got a microwave heat it up!” Will not be using again

Just ordered from just eat please people DON'T BUY food from this place quality is just trash and they are scammers , one 10' pizza will cost you £8.99 but if you get a "deal" buy one get one free it will cost you £15.99 seriously please don't waste your time or money the pizza dough is one of the WORSE I EVER TRIED!! Superb late night "greasy spoon" type place serving a number of fast food delicacies. I ordered a mixed Donner with chips with extra chilli and garlic sauce but the staff failed to deliver any salt and vinegar on the chips, despite asking. English isn't the staffs first language and neither is taking pride in being competent food service workers so get the staff to repeat your order back to you. If your order is long and drawn out probably best to go in. Make sure you check that you've received everything before you take your order home. Furthermore, don't expect them to honour any special deals they might have on. Other than that some really delicious tasting kebabs and sauces that really hit the spot when your craving salt and grease. I'll come back again.

Delivery was an hour late, when i rang up i had the order number but they just wanted to know which platform we ordered from, i asked him to hold on for a minute while i found out. He hung up on me. The food was cold, the fish wasnt freshly battered. The salad was warmer than the supposed hot food. Not worth 35 pounds, will never use them again. Try to complain to the driver, surprise, he couldnt understand English. Wide berth from this lot.

The kofte kebab wrap makes me so sick every time I eat it. I've ordered it plenty of times before and it's never got me this bad. I don't know if they've changed something in it or what but I wouldn't recommend it anymore

I'd give this no stars if I could, soggy chips that taste like they were cooked yesterday, chicken burgers were dry, and definitely not cooked fresh, taste old and chewy...cheesy naan bread had no cheese..chicken nuggets over cooked and also dry and chewy. Everything tasted like it was cooked last night and re heated in a microwave today...Avoid at all cost...disgusting food...

ordered a “doner chicken kebab” thinking it would be a mix of chicken and doner meat. instead i received some bright red sloppy chicken which was just inedible. i had to eat the naan bread on its own. i rang them up thinking they sent the wrong item but just got a rude attitude. lost a customer

Went for a kebab. Got an Indian curry tasting kebab. I had no idea it would be spicy tandoori chicken and naan bread. Not what we wanted as a meal

when you order in person its not that bad but when you order theu uber eats its a joke they give 3 bits of chicken and you call this a kebab. Im still hungry.

Absolutely shocking told them i wanted garlic mayo with 1 order & bbq on the other all spoken in English language only 2 receive the wrong order & dressings !!!!! Then after consulting the place i got told I will be contacted. Suffering severe allergic reaction to the chilli sauce & having to seek medical advice... also I asked them to send the card machine as I hadn't any cash on me the delivery driver came without the card machine & insisted I magic cash or wait extra 45 mins for already prepared food wrong order.besides they were no help.....

I have used King Kebab for years ordering deliveries in the evening and no matter what time I call them the food is delivered promptly and is hot. The food itself is fabulous - their Pizza’s are the best I’ve tried in Northampton- far better than Domino’s etc. Overall, for me they’re the best in town!!

Just superb fried chicken. Crunchy as funk! Good fries.! Great just overall amazing meal can't fault it!

Ordered my food at 11 at night didn't come till 12:40. was late by 35 minutes driver arrived didn't want to give me my drinks kept them in his boot until I said get my drinks. then he was like ow sorry then opened my 2 kebabs the pitta is all burned food is cold due to deliver driver and still no refund think the restaurant need better chefs it's horrible wouldn't even give 1 star.

They delivered the wrong food completely then left the phone off the hook so we couldn’t call and complain. When I did get through they were really rude and unhelpful. I will not be ordering again.

This is the worst place in Northampton. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING. If u you do order online you will definitely receive the wrong food and you won't be able to do anything about it because they leave theirs phones off the hook. The customer service is non existent. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

BIG SCAM Their menu says "20% discount on all collection telephone orders" yet when I went to collect my order they argued with me denying the offer completely, even though they agreed to it over the telephone. I tried to get an 18" buy-one-get-one free pizza, they told me I could only have 1 pizza for £22.99... who pays 22.99 for 1 whole pizza??? If you don't want to give the offer, why put it on the menu. And after receiving the pizza, there were hardly any topings on it. I won't be buying from here ever again, they even threatend to not deliver again... They think I'm coming back??? No. Don't buy from here, unless you want to get scammed big time.

The chicken tasted like it was reheated and was extremely oily. I called them and said it didn’t taste fresh (the one they made today) but they denied and didn’t even apologize !!!

Never order from this place they are so rude I rang them up as had my food delivered but they forgot one of the meals so I spoke to a very rude man on the phone telling me that its not there fault that they forgot it and that I have to wait 35 minutes for them to bring me the meal and told me if I have an issue to speak to a manager but he wouldn’t put me through to one

Ordered a large special kebab took an hour to get to me in NN5 on a Tuesday evening the food had good flavour unfortunately it was cold I lived in Northampton many years ago and remember them being amazing unfortunately they have not kept up the rep unsure to try again 😡

The first time ordered one cheese burger and one fish burger.The size of the burger bun was ok ,the fish burger was over fried and burnt overall not edible. The delivery took one hour and twenty minutes ,which is not acceptable .I believe that King Kebab don't think that customer service is necessary and important .I will never again order from King Kebab.If my friends ask me ,I will never recommend King Kebab

Wrap was with chicken nuggets sheim for any dinner shop first time was so dry chicken from the shish it was after 22:00 but if you don't have the right product don't accept the order I don't recommend buying from them

Not usually fussy at all with places however this place needs to be avoided at all costs. I ordered fried chicken and it gave me horrendous food poisoning, I was throwing up during the night. The food didn’t look appetising at all and I didn’t eat much as it didn’t taste nice but it was enough to make me unwell. Avoid - if they don’t care about cooking the food properly then who knows what else goes on.

Bosses are brilliant when they are there serving. The food is spot on, lamb shwarma is delicious. I didn't rate 5 star as there is 1 member of staff there that twice has refused to serve me the lamb shwarma as he says they haven't got enough left, but I can see it there! Once I ordered lamb, and he gave me chicken and just said they haven't got enough lamb! But the owners are great

I ordered a meal come to £22.00 when delivery driver turned up he had no change and told me if I want the food I would have to give him the whole £30.00 !! I said no.. he took away food!! Long story short.. after I contact shop . Food came back it was the worst ever.

Complete waste of money Poor quality meat, too greasy and way too salty. Ordered mixed kebabs for over £8 each and just received donner kebabs with some shredded chicken in. Threw them in the bin.

I ordered via Just Eat and it showed that delivery is free and will be delivered between 15-30 minutes. When I reached checkout, delivery fee was added as £3.50 plus £.50 service fee making it £4 on top of food price. The problem is trapping customer in. I must tell you that not to believe as this is not first but second time. I placed an order an hour back still waiting. Please do not be fooled by King Kebab and hence Just Eat. Never Never Never will order from them again. Pathetic.

Pizzas served here are the best.tasty too good. But the place isn't always clean. They don't clean up the leftovers by customer s quickly. Dustbin is too close to seating. Missing stars only for hygiene.

I ordered food at 5pm I call them 2 times 6pm and 6.30pm they said on the way but not received again 7pm I phoned they said we haven't got my order I said I have all the confirmation details they don't want to listen and cut the phone half an hour later phone me and say sorry we just received you order.i don't want to give even 1star for this attitude and food is worst then any other kebab shop.

* PLEASE READ * I ordered from this restaurant last night around about 2.15am. My order came at 2.50am but when the delivery driver came to my door he started asking me questions. He started with saying how he knows me from somewhere and I said I don't think I've ever seen him before, he tried to ask for my name, where I work, and where I go out drinking etc which I gave him no details about. He then continued with asking if I'm married which I responded no but I'm in a relationship. He then asked if I was home alone, which made me feel rather uncomfortable, I said no my boyfriend is here, I said I was going to close the door and he continued with asking for my phone number which luckily my boyfriend heard and come to the door and he told him to go away. It was extremely unprofessional and made me feel uncomfortable, I won't be ordering from this place again due to that.

Wasn’t happy with their chicken wings they was dry and appeared to have been sitting there longer than needed, the guy behind the counter was in short with his words and impatient🙄 they also don’t have lemonade among there wide variety of drinks.

Not very impressed with the service of this takeaway. Estimated time was 00.45-01.05. Contacted the restaurant at 01.17 as our food was late and they told me it has just left with the uber driver and it would be 15mins as they were busy. After waiting a long time we recieved our order and the food was very greasy. My partner had a kebab with naan and i had a tripple cheese burger and chips. The cheese burger was very greasy and soggy and the chips were dry and cold. The kebab was greasy and didnt taste very nice. I wont be ordering from them again.

Good pizza and good service plus it's halal!

They deliver the wrong orders and then refuse to correct the order or refund as the order is incorrect. On top of this the rude and aggressive staff are a joke and like to swear at you. There is then no willingness from the owner to listen to the issues around the food or staff

What a bad service it is. Last order the driver came in saying he forgotten to take a can drink for my son but will add it into our order next time. Today order late 30 minutes and gues what? Not only lack of canned drink from last week but another can for this order missing. It does look like they are making their profits by cheating on their clients. The other thing is that I have ordered my large breaded chicken in wrap and my wife regular dinner kebab and we have got quite opposite ... This is not a first time when they are mixing our orders I will not order there again and do not recommend it to anyone otherwise you can be disappointed same.as we were.

Ordered from King Kebab before and my partner loves the food so treated him as I was watching the football. The chilli sauce that he wanted separately and we had paid £1.80 for 3 tiny pots had spread all over the order! I’m allergic to chilli and couldn’t eat my burger or my share of the chips as the delivery driver had thrown the bag about and everything was spilt. I phoned the restaurant and said I was allergic to chilli and how disappointed I was with the way they had packed the food and the man I spoke to was just rude, couldn’t care less and obviously had no pride in his product. Never had that kind of response before and have always given a good review when we have takeaway. I’m old school and was really shocked by his lack of respect for me but more importantly his food. I always pride myself for everything I make!!!!

I had a worst ever service in my life. I ordered a lunch via Uber Eats. App says 30Mins delivery time. However after 30Mins food was not delivered. I called to the restaurant, and the guy I talked with answered that “food is almost ready and that will be delivered in 10 mins” Another 15mins I waited for but nothing happen. Then again I called to the place. Then I was really shocked, the guy who took my call shouted to me with F word and he said “Don’t call again you mother Fu——“ I was really shocked and disappointed with his attitude. I asked to cancel my order but they didn’t accept. So I gave up my food. After 30Mins of this conversation, finally food was delivered. The Pizza I had was really horrible taste worse than dog food. I was double shocked by this, how can they cook the Pizza like that? PLEASE AVIOD THIS PLACE, YOU WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

Got food here around 2am. Burger was okay, nothing special, but their chips? Amazing... an addicting taste to them. This would have been a 4 star but it seems at this time of night they do not care about clearing or cleaning any of the tables and seats. Food all over each table with a half eaten wrap still on one, appalling...

In 1999 I studied at Booth lane college my first time from being a vegetarian due to religious family ways never tried meat. But this place took my breath away! Over the years I never felt the same way about my orders wither I ate in or got a delivery I was always loyal to KK never complained truthfully the food wasn't as satisfying as my first interaction BUT!! Today OMG!! Wow my doner kebab was mesmerising I nearly ate my fingers lol Please keep it up guys from not 5* but Michelin 10*s honestly you just reminded me of 1999. Made from the heart **********

Delivery time was quick but the food was terrible chIcken wings and chips where cold crusty and hard. Chicken fillet burger was overcooked and basically cold too. BeSt thing about it was the drink which was nice and cold ! And the delivery man decided he would take a 1.06 tip for himself won't order again food isnt good at all. Paid nearly £20.00 for 2 kebabs which I picked up from King Kebab tonight. Absolutely awful. It was stone old by the time I made my ten minute journey home. The meat was dry and overcooked as was the nan bread that it was slapped in. Wasn't even rolled up. I would never buy from there again. One star for a review is one too many!! Overpriced and underwhelmed.

Worst decision ever! I had my share of food disappointments but this is by far the worst ever! My husband and I ordered 2 chicken kebabs for delivery...after waiting for more than an hour we got a lamb platter (that smelled awful) and 1portion of barbecue chicken wings. After contacting the takeaway we were told they would replace the food when they had the time. I said absolutely not we want a refund, the staff hung up on us twice after threatening that we will call the police they said they will reimburse us in an hour or so! I couldn’t take their word so I decided to go and confront them in person! I got my refund but what a shocker no apology! I also want to state that the staff was handling the food with no gloves (placing it in boxes) and no masks either. Please don’t make that same mistake we did. Stay away from this place!!
