Grillers in Northampton

One star is generous. The food was not what we ordered half of it was missing, also a hour late! when we called the man he turned his phone off. Overall awful experience waste of £20. Never ordering again.

I ordered through Deliveroo, once the order was accepted, I received a phone call saying that they don’t deliver passed 2am but they wouldn’t cancel the order themselves. They told me to go through Deliveroo and get a refund, rather than just cancelling the order themselves.

Accepted an order and then never brought the order, had to wait 01:30 hour until i realised the restaurantwas closed after accepting my order, don't order from this place, it has 0 respect for its customers, good riddance!

The worst customer service ever very rude 1st time ordering and last!

Absolutely disgusting service with the most disrespectful man I've ever heard from! Freezing cold food, swimming in sour sauce with a hair buried inside it. Was told its my fault its cold and was told he was the only person working in the whole shop with no hair and won't do anything to help me! £20 down the drain.. first time ordering and defo last time 🤢🤢🤢

Hot, tasty food that helped sober me up after a night out.

Customer service terrible waited over 45 minutes for food. In that time tried to call for about 20+ minutes with no answer. Decided to drive to shop. Excuse was we very busy and short of drivers. Should not be like that answer the phone. Did give us some extra food for free.

The atmosphere isn't great. But the food is good. It's more of a takeaway.

What is wrong with this city. All menu is only pictures of buclets. It's not serious.

Food was inedible( mixed kebab ) so called Donner meat was like leather and covered in spices delivered cold family and I threw it straight in the bin

Food arrived later than delivery time expected. Food was cold and fries were extremely soggy as well as the garlic bread. Chicken strips were okay but tasted a lot like freezer food. Pizza was nice though, but all of the food seem like it had been reheated.

Ordered the special mixed grill ,but it arrived without fries ,mushrooms and onion rings ,even the can of drink wasn't what I ordered . Hopeless .

Ordered twice for this place (£20+) for two baked potatoes plus three toppings on both and it was cancelled both times with no reason. Would give zero stars if it was a choice. Very disappointing

1 star is generous. Worst takeaway experience I’ve ever had. Was made to wait almost 2 hours for the food. Tried calling many times to eventually be greeted with ‘Postcode?’. On the hottest day ever recorded in the UK, the food arrived cold. Fries were green and soggy. How this place is still running is beyond me. Wish I had checked reviews on Google rather than trusting the Just Eat reviews. Stay away.

Decent kebab , quick service. Late opening.

First time visiting this place and definitely the last. Shop was grubby looking, tables had dried on remnants of something on them. Bloke serving was more interested in his phone than serving customers. Chips were cold and limp, doner meat was bland and tasteless. Chicken shish was nicely cooked and still moist. Salad was OK apart from the wilted brown lettuce. Cheap nasty bottled chilli sauce and the ketchup was like water. Never again!!!

Horrible services. We have received incorect order and we were trying to call them for 35 minutes. Finally, they called us back and instead of saying sorry for wrong order they asked us how could we ate their extra potatoes wedges! We told them we can pay them back this 5 f as we opened the box already but he slammed the phone. Please safe your time and money and do not buy from this place. PS: food was 3/10.

Terrible service. Took 2 hours for my order to arrive and it was the wrong order. Called them to tell them and they explained that they didn’t have want I originally wanted, so I asked why they didn’t call me to let me know, and no answer given. My burger arrived with just the burger and cheese. No salad no, no sauce, then they told me I should’ve specified I wanted that. WHAT?? Every standard burger comes with at least salad and they didn’t specify this type on the site when ordering. In the middle of expressing my disappointment they hung up on me. Shocking customer service and the food was cold and terrible anyway. NEVER AGAIN!

The worst beef ever eaten. We just receive the order and the beef was dry and burnt .Do not order .

Ordered a cheeseburger over the counter.The burger, and roll was totally burned...I asked for another, they said nothing wrong with it... After some very unpleasant verbal abuse from the staff, they gave me my money back. I said i don't really want a refund, just a cheeseburger and bun thats not burnt please... Took 22 quid off me in August. We waited 2 hours for delivery then got a call from another takeaway to say that Grillers was 'closed' that day (this has happened before). We asked them to cancel the order. Still no refund and unable to get hold of anyone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF THEY HAVEN'T ALREADY BEEN CLOSED DOWN!

We order weekly had a few issues but this week has topped the lot!! .. 1 hour late no apology . Cold food … we are done!!

Very disappointed tonight. Ordered at 17.40 order finally arrived 20.50. This was after contacting them twice. The second time to be told their website wasn't working then I told them they'd taken my money meracously found order and it would be delivered in 20mins. Half an hour later arrived and most was cold.

Have used this place for years, always really good until last night! The food was marked delivered but didn’t arrive! Thank god for Just Eat being so good and sorting my refund this morning! Won’t be using them again, very disappointed!

Very bad experience . I was waiting for my order about 1 hour but I didn’t receive the food. It’s suppose to delivered by 30-40 mins when I called the restaurant they said no drivers available it’s gonna take more 20 mins and they cancelled it after few minutes .Im really disappointed .

Used these some years ago was very good but what a mistake gone down hill, had 2 pizzas and two kebabs the meat in the kebabs looked like it was yesterday’s over cooked ,spoonful of salad not we’re putting on and just about see the chips , what a waste of £29 you should be a shame taking that money for the rubbish you sent out Going back to millennium down gold street decent food

If you want burnt inedible pizza this is the place for you. When we complained they offered a free drink

Didn't get half my order! Paid £14.45 only to get chips and curry sauce. My drink and the £6 garlic bread didn't arrive. Absolute pisstake, at least the tub of curry sauce is big enough to drown myself in.

Quarter way through my chicken kebab I realised the chicken was raw. They also forgot my chips but that's the least of my worries.

Ordered a meal for a family members birthday, ordered at 16.40 and was advised 55 mins which was fine. Called at 18.00 to be told it's just leaving and we were the first delivery. Bearing in mind we live 10mins away from the shop and it's a Sunday evening so traffic was not bad. At 18.30 called again to be told it's 3 mins away. Eventually after nearly 2 hrs the food turned up stone cold. Everything had to be microwaved and one meal was inedible. The cat has food for a week and we won't be ordering from Grillers Northampton again.

Thank you for our 41st wedding anniversary meal, it was disgusting and absolutely ruined my evening because of your food, my husband has dementia and this could be our last year my husband will remember as he would have forgot most of all of tonight by tomorrow night but the food was disgusting the steak was hard, very grisly forget trying to cut the steak it was just to had and cold it looked like someone had just thrown it into the foil trays, no bone from the t-bone steak 2 tiny mushroom and the salad was a joke. Just thanks for my lovely anniversary meal with the man I love and losing to dementia great memory I have as he only remembers things that happen for no longer that 5- 10 mins now. We went to you as we have before the the meal was lovely so I thought I would have so memories tonight yes but the wrong memories. THANKS

I waiting 2 hours for my first and last ever order

This is suppose to be a ‘Donna Chicken Pitta’ ....Full of different bits of bones and full of different bits where the chickens cooked and not cooked, so much chicken skin and smelt absolutely foul!Literally will make your skin crawl, please do NOT buy from these. Chips were stale and cold as well. Joke of a company! Wouldn’t even give us a refund either when complained. Scummy restaurant!If you wanna become a veggie eat from these guys, I’m sure they’ll put you off!!!

Last night me and two family members went into the place to get a kabab, we was instantly judged by them and didn’t really take there eyes off us, when we was getting the food they gave us a really bad attitude and asked one of my mates why he had so many questions and to shut up. with me on the other hand they where rude when we left I looked back into the shop to see they where talking about us!! The place was filthy, kebabs where still on the table!! The tables wasn’t even wiped !! The chairs where dirty!! Food wise- the kabab was cold and very soggy!! Would not recommend grilles at all !!

Took well over 1 hour to be delivered and when I called to find out about my order the person on the phone wasnt very helpful. when the food came my burger had cheese in, which I didn't order and it didn't say it had cheese on the menu. Also the chips were soggy and awful. Never ordering again from this place.

Food arrived early and hot however I asked for no salad on kabab and came with more salad than meat did not put my sauce on kabab, kabab was dry and hard

I called to order BOGOF pizza. The order had to be over £15 for delivery, no problem I thought, thats standard and I confirmed with the guy on the phone. However, when the food arrived, the guy wanted £5 delivery. I argued with him and the man back at Grillers on the phone, who had the cheek to say I was a regular customer and knew about the delivery, when I have literally never ordered delivery from them in my life.I paid, as we wanted our food but I will never use them again.

Asked for a lamb shish kebab!!! Got a diner in its place 😡 if I wanted to eat processed meat I'd have asked for it!! Got 3 different parts of our order wrong! Not impressed

I ordered 2 pizzas 2 T bone steaks Garlic mushrooms Potato skins £48 T bones were dry, over cooked and inedible , even though ordered medium, I called and they said they had a new chef, ??? £32 for a load of over cooked rubbish !“so don’t hire a chef who can’t cook what your Offering “ No refund, just a sorry from himself and the chef Lol LMAO was that it , yes! , so don’t order from this cowboy company !

I ordered chicken dinner meat and chips not mixed together, was overcharged and when I got home the chicken donner had a bad smell as if it had gone off. Worst experience ever

had a order from grillers last time wasnt great but this time the food was very good hot and tasty was the best burger i have has in a while

Really tasty, mixed kebabs are fab, the salad was nice and fresh and all prepped infront of us. Would recommend.

Have regularly ordered with grillers. Ordered two pizzas which for but one get one free weekend e expensive £3 cheaper than dominoes. Pizzas were over cooked and cold. Ordered a Fanta got a coke which I don't drink. Poor poor poor. Another good customer you have lost.

Ordered off the just eat app. Have ordered from grillers before and it was amazing. However after this time will not be ordering again as it got sent to the billing address on my Apple Pay instead of my delivery address that was stated for them to send it to. After ringing them to find out what had happened I got belittled and made to feel dumb. They refused a refund or a replacement for the inconvenience. Will not be using this place again after the terrible customer service. If I could give it 0 stars I would 😡

Ordered from the just eat app and the food got delivered to the billing address instead of the delivery address. When we rang the restaurant they had a go at my girlfriend and belittled her over the phone and when she finally got on to the subject of a refund they hung up on us. Terrible customer service and we certainly won’t be ordering from them again!!

My son ordered a delivery. They delivered to the billing address not the delivery address. I rang them myself and was told to F Off as the money had been taken so it wasn’t their fault and they didn’t care...So much for customer satisfaction .... my recommendation is DONT order from this place

I ordered a 10 piece Southern fried chicken bucket and when I received my order the chicken was completely soaked in grease. There was so much of it that it soaked through the packaging and the boxes it came in. I had to throw most of the chicken away as I couldn't handle the amount of grease and it tasted bland.

Just ordered tonight about an hour ago . Two tiny pizzas were £12 . I ordered Chinese chicken and plain chicken came drowning in stupidly hot chillis . Way too may . Nothing Chinese about the pizza . Popcorn chicken was shop bought chicken breast fillets cut up into pieces and undercook . Still pink . Ordered two extra fries as it’s says popcorn chicken comes with fries . But only two potions of fries came in total . Should’ve been three . Fries were soggy and pale and raw in the middle . ! Tried ringing to complain but after 17 times of no one picking up I’ve given up . Disgusting over priced poor excuse of takeaway food . And we waited 90 mins for the privilege. 😡

very disgusting place probably one of the worst takeaway shops around Northampton and it's expensive when you compare to other takeaways near by. My first time i buy something at first i look around and everything look dirty the pizza oven the chips machine and the way they handle the food. I was going something like pizza or kebab and then after seeing how they handle the food with their hands without washing. I decided to buy only a large chip.

No great, and ask for a little mayo get a bucket load!

Arrived late so struggled to find somewhere to get food. Found this shop and bought a mixed kebab. The meat was tasteless and over cooked. Greatest waste of £9 ever. Also they charge 50p for card no matter how much you spend. Papa Johns little bit further up road.

Ordered 4 chicken kebabs, they just got a regular chicken picked it apart and threw it into a box. The meat was terrible, the food was STONE COLD on arrival and the vegetable was literally half on onion ( whole ) and some red cabbage. The man on the phone spoke down to me and shouted once it was clear i was calling to make a complaint. Spend your money else where people there are alot better quality places in Northampton to order from. Don't risk it. This place sucks ass.

The first time we used them we could not praise the food & service more highly. Unfortunately this past Sunday both food and service were shockingly bad! Both of us had upset tummies following the experience- never again!

I found bones in my chicken in my wrap. The meat also still had bits on meat on it. The chips were soggy and when taken out the container stayed in that position. The corn was also disgusting and out of date and unetable.Also the pizza was not properly cooked. Will not order from again

We had a delivery through Just Eat. This was the BEST Lamb Shish Kebab we have ever eaten! (And that includes any from places visited like Turkey and Greece!) Generous portions, beautifully tender meat, very well presented for a takeaway. We will definitely be ordering from Grillers again!

Este es posiblemente el peor kebab y servicio al cliente que he recibido! Que mi compañero y yo acabo de trabajar y decidimos que nos pide llevar en lugar de cocinar.Había una falta de kebabs de mi entrega, por lo que llamé para preguntar donde se colgó.El kebab es vergonzoso no hay salsa de la carne es seco y se ve horrible!Entonces me llamó de nuevo y me dijeron otra vez que él no podía oír claramente aunque él me podía.Varias veces me llamó y me colgaron. Muy grosero y servicio asqueroso!Ahora me han dicho que no puedo recuperar mi dinero! !Yo evitaría este sitio a toda costa! Ahora estoy del bolsillo, y todavía no hay comida. Lo conseguimos entregado tenía que ser tirado. Vergonzoso!

Absolutely terrible did not turn up, no call to let us know and when I rang just eat because I could not get through to Grillers they then tell me that the default is to say delivered on the tracker if the delivery has exceeded it's delivery time what a load of bo**#*#. I will never use either again.

The driver phone and asked me to go to his car to collect my meal and my kebab I had to make myself. That what I pay them to do. The food portion are smaller than other chip shops. Don't waste your time.

For a change i thought i would have the 9oz steak meal . Steak was like eating a lorry tyre and all the food was cold. Been better off having a slice of toast .

Ordered x2 10" pizzas. When they turned up they were tiny, so to prove they were not 10" I got a tape measure out and they were about 8" each! I was also charged delivery charge even though I'm sure we were within the 2.5 radius. Decided to eat it anyway as it was getting late. Was going to phone and complain but to be honest the food itself was only mediocre so we wouldn't want anything from them again anyway. So.... All in all, Don't bother ordering delivery from them. There are way better services and quality on offer out there. Never Again.!😒

in the past the food was very good but this time it was cold and the pizza very hard and tough to eat the chicken wings smelt like they had been cooked in fish oil last time I order from there....
