The service is very poor and wouldn't recommend. We made an order for a group of friends and they missed off a whole meal. After ringing to correct, it took 5 phone calls and 1 hour and a half for the missing meal to arrive. No apology or any acknowledgement. Terrible.

This is the Turkish restaurant in Northampton, they do not care about there customers or food. This use to be a good restaurant I’ve been a regular since they first opened. But the last 3 times I have been there it has really gone down hill. - cold chicken - gristly bits in chicken - rice is all stuck together and stodgy (worse then microwaved rice) - halloumi wasn’t even cooked and had no taste to it - bread was stale 100% would not recommend this shop wouldn’t even feed it to my dog.

Fresh and delicious. Always reliable. My go to for a good turkish takeaway! Try their bread, chicken doner with all the salad and sauced - TDF

Ordered through just eat. Delicious chargrilled salmon for me and chicken shish for my husband. Very generous portions with complimentary Turkish bread. Will order again x

Lamb shish is a joke not 1 cube of lamb was edible full of fat and grissel looked like tumours distgusting they must look at the meat before it goes on a skewer just robbing people with low quality meat even the dog wouldn’t eat it

We loved the mixed platter which fed 3 with lots to spare. The best chicken shish in Northampton! Couscous/rice mix is delicious. Just a shame that it’s not homemade hummus and the chips were not great after the journey home.

Absolutely love it best foot on the market 10/10 definitely recommend several staff asked how I was hospitalities are amazing over all the best restaurant in Northampton

Reluctant to write this. We were regular customers of Mangals ever since it opened and recommended it to all of our friends and family. Food was always superb. For the past three visits, Mangals restaurant has either left out the rice, the salad or on occasion, both. We have just spent £33 on a takeaway for 2, which is not cheap. The bag was split when collected. Grease swimming out the bottom. No rice. Chips were cold and soggy. Doner meat was undercooked. It was appalling. Tried to call to say about the missing rice but couldn’t get through. We ate a quarter of it as it was practically inedible. We have decided we will NOT be returning and will be sending out friends and family elsewhere. Such a shame, but has gone down hill rapidly.

Really like the food from here.. good every time. Will continue to order from here.. Mixed platter is our go to dish swapping the lamb for chicken

Mangal was recommended by friends and I have to say it didn’t disappoint, the food was amazing, great fresh salad, beautifully cooked chicken and lamb, fresh flat bread and beautiful sauces, the team were friendly and welcoming, I highly recommend it, we will certainly be back time and time again.

Overrated. Very poor service. Avoid. Didn’t get asked my order. Waited ten minutes to get served. Staff swearing and ignoring customers.

Disgusting customer service! Placed an order and was told delivery 1 hour - 1 hour 10 mins.. Called up after 1 hour 30 mins and was told driver was on his way (I live around 10 mins away), called up again after 2 hours and was told driver was on his way.. My food turned up at 8:50pm, 2 hours and 30 mins after we ordered! Guess what.. They ran put of rice and cous cous so they sent us chips.. really cold chips. Nothing but rude over the phone. That said, the meats were nice but just don’t get delivery.

Brilliant service. Amazing food. Great value. Picked up at shop did not do delivery so cannot comment on that. Clean not greasy. Fresh. Great variety. Definitely be back.

Should be 5 stars as the food is amazing however the service is abysmal. Had a few orders from here this year and more often than not they have forgotten something from the order. Today they again forgot something so I decided to phone them and complain and asked for the missing item to be delivered ASAP. I was told they were too busy currently to deliver but would make our next order bigger to compensate. I Informed them that the missing item was part of a meal and I wanted it delivered ASAP. They agreed and said they would send it as soon as they could. Sadly that order never turned up. As stated the food here is excellent but the place is massively let down by incompetent management! Will not be ordering from here again if unfortunately.

This was the most delicious food I have had in a long time 😍 so filling, fresh and generous portions 👌 will be going back again definitely

Firstly I will say that the food her is good, VERY good, but it is completely let down by the manager, who is arrogant and likes to boast about his '20 year experience', and seems to think it is impossible for himself or his staff to make a mistake.Considering he had a hard time understanding a postcode, it laughable that he refused to admit that himself or one of his staff wrote our order down wrong.Note to the management: 20 years experience does not mean you can talk to customers like idiots or treat them with contempt - without customers you have no business. I have personally recommended your business to multiple people, this is not something I will be doing again until I see better customer service. I will give them another chance in a few months time and update this review accordingly.

We ordered our food at 7 last night, the wait time we was told online was 20-30 mins. Every 30 mins they time went up another 30 mins we waited till 8:30 to call and ask where our food was as it said on the app it had been delivered but we hadn’t received anything. We was told they were waiting on a driver it will be 15-20 mins. We waited 15 mins to call again, called again and was told the same thing, which would bring us to 9.The food still hasn’t arrived so I called up again and was told it was still in preparing stage, 2 hours after we ordered not good enough, so I asked why it was still being prepared we ordered at 7 surely we should’ve received it, the guy on the phone told me they will make it fast and it will be 10 mins. I waited 10 mins to call back and was told they have no drivers, so I asked to speak to a manager and he told me the food is with a driver but he doesn’t know which driver, so he told me he will call his drivers that are out, and figure out where our order is. He didn’t bother calling us back so we called 10 mins later to figure out if we were even getting the food and he started getting frustrated and raising his voice at me and calling me ‘lady’ all these things I find quite rude but I work in the food industry I understand how it can be difficult so I was calm while speaking to him. Got to about 9:40 and I had to leave for work so I didn’t even get to eat, as it finally arrived at 10:30 my family said it was luke warm by the time it got there.We were also told we would get a full refund as it took so long but this morning we got a message from the restaurant saying we will not be getting this as it was “only a little late” 3.5 hours late is more than a little bit! And I didn’t even get to eat it! I also ordered the chicken burger with cheesy chips for myself and they had forgotten the cheese on my chips! I spoke to around 5 different people on the phone all saying it is on its way give us 15 mins, they were obviously all lying to me as the manager is the only one that actually told me the order is lost and they don’t know where it is.Next time if you don’t know where the food is don’t make up an estimated time of arrival, actually figure out the problem. I can understand things can go wrong and everyone makes mistakes but this experience was ridiculous 3.5 hours. We won’t be returning mainly because of customer service as the food was quite nice my family said, but the experience was horrible and also the people taking calls kept hanging up the call when I presume they finished what they said, so I had to keep calling back explaining the situation again to a different person and the same thing would happen again, which is just rude hanging up when I’m in the middle of talking. Save yourself 3 hours of waiting and order from somewhere else.

Waited 3 hours 15 minutes for delivery last night. Phoned several times, lied to each time that it would be with us within 10 minutes. The manager admitted in the end that he didn’t know where our food was! Just what I needed after a long shift at the Hospital.

Ordered a take away tonight, customer service was friendly and informative, delivery was really quick, we ordered the Chef Special, it was delicious a wonderful selection of meats, salad, couscous and rice . We were made aware of them by a leaflet through the door. Would recommend the food. Really enjoyed it.

Always really tasty food, love the salad, bread and rice that comes with the chicken kebab. Would highly recommend and the staff are very friendly too!

Must be the worst delivery eatery ever. Waited 2 hrs for food order then came and was cold. Person on telephone couldn't speak or understand English very well. Will never use again.

Honestly almost too exhausted by this experience to even write this review but we are so outraged! Ordered via Just Eat, got to 15 mins after expected delivery time and called the restaurant, they said it was on its way, still nothing so called back (this went on for about an hour), in addition to the driver calling and hanging up, saying it’s delivered, then admitting that was a lie (obviously), then the restaurant saying they’ll speak with the driver but not calling back - it went on and on. Asked for a refund and they were very reluctant to do this and didn’t want to call Just Eat to authorise the refund, which is apparently the process (as the customer you essentially become a mediator between Just Eat and the restaurant - with no food and no money back). Never ever ordering from this place again.

Raw chicken. Burnt sasauge burnt lamb chops. Didn't cook half my order. Used his bare hands was sweating over the food and looked like he was on drunk. I am disgusted I threw the food away I dare not eat it and dare not take it back. Shocking service. The guy cooking looked like he hadn't washed or brushed his teeth.

Been here once before, and was great. Have no clue what happened this evening, guy was evidently drunk, stuck of alcohol. Touched the raw Pattie with bare hands, didn’t put cheese or mayonnaise in as asked. Opened the burger when I got home and was barely even cooked, raw meat inside the Pattie! Took it back and got a refund and he nearly fell over! Thankfully another customer seen and agreed was still raw. Never going back, thanks for the experience!

Excellent Turkish take aways . Food taste great . Burgers were huge and tastes awesome. Sirloin steak was very nice. home made pattes in there burgers. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food is halaal.

By far the best takeaway in Northampton love love love the rice and Couscous plenty of choice and nice staff

I have been back a few times since my initial visit a couple of weeks ago. The traditional food is very good, in particular the lamb chops and lahmacun. I ordered a pizza one time which was decent quality but a bit stodgy so I will stick to the traditional dishes in future, but no doubt I will be back very soon. It's not cheap but you do get a full meal for the price.

Disappointing kebab, full of gristle. Worst thing, I found two hairs in my food 🤢. Won’t be visiting again.
