Every time I stay in St Ives I make time to grab a shish kebab. Do it! You won’t be disappointed

Me and my partner waited an hour and 30 minutes for a kebab and the delivery driver turned up looking all smug, when the owner of the kebab rang him as he was delivering our food to our door, he was laughing at how angry the owner was getting because of how late he was and insisted he did it on "purpose" we won't be ordering from here anymore, our food was stone cold although the driver claimed it was freshly cooked as he left, quite frankly the one and only driver they have is a disgusting man, I do NOT recommend ordering from here

Stuff missing out a £64 order and gentlemen on the phone was calling me A liar and wouldn’t accept the fact it was missing

Absolutely disgusting. Order was wrong, paid over £10 per food item for the portion to be the size you would feed a small child, food was awful to the point we couldn't eat it and the little we did gave us bad stomachs the day after.. Do not recommend, rip off

Forget the times they are open till on here, called at 22:45 no delivery available. Called back at 22:48 asking for a collection and the guy on the other end of the phone couldn’t decide if they were open one not. Asked me what I wanted and then said they were closed. Obviously was inconvenient for them.

Do eat my fare share of Kebabs 🙈 And when away from your local one you wonder if the local one to were your staying will live up. Well King Kebab did not disappoint, meat cooked lovely plenty of sauce. Sauce does come on the food not in a pot, but with the environment on plastic not a bad thing. Chilli sauce as a kick 🥵 so like it spicy 😁 Vales yes I'd say so. My wife had a Chicken Kebab lovley salad,sauce ect but is made with chicken thighs (wife not a fan). All in all would order again if we come to St Ives in the future.

Lucky if you get your food and if/when it does turn up you'd wish you hadn't bothered... multiple occasions now we have waited over an hour and had to call up to chase up our order.. delivery driver didn't know what the delay was as they were sat in the shop waiting during that whole time.. shame there aren't any other options available for our address or we'd never go back.. Co op it is next time🤣

Not to sure about the very doggie halal meat. Never eat halal meat dodgy religious ethics the way meat is slaughtered and it is cheap meat

The delivery was polite, prompt and on time. The food however completely missed the mark. To pay £35 for a mixed kebab and chicken shish kebab, cheese chips & what they call coleslaw. I don’t mind paying that sort of money but the food I had delivered I wouldn’t pay £15 for. Everything is vastly overpriced, The chicken kebab had 4 pieces of chicken in it when apparently it should be 7 at £11 is defiantly not worth it. The kebab had next to no sauce on it and the sales was poor. I did address this with them to then be told “ I have cameras on the chefs cooking so they did put 7 pieces in.” Well a little tip for you with that sort of equipment I’d be keeping a close eye on the below par food your chefs are serving. The cheese on the chips was really weird. Wouldn’t recommend this place.

Food was almost like a microwave meal, chicken burger was very dry and just slapped together. Cheesey chips had hardly no Cheese on at all! Chips also very soggy and dry like they've been kept warm for hours. Very very over priced, this would be a last resort if I was starving, but the price is disgusting for the food you receive. £6 for soggy chips with no cheese!!

What is going on.... Two hours still waiting on food, asked for refund noone there to give it. Sort it out guys. Very poor.

As St.ives residents we've been going here for years with the odd unpleasant delivery. Today unfortunately was something different altogether. Over an hour an half wait only to ring the shop and have somebody who clearly didn't know what they were doing. After asking where my food was he states it was on its way.... were currently still waiting for our food with several phone calls having been made. Told there's no management on site and when asked for a refund they just continually avoided an answer. Disgusting!!!

Ordered what was supposed to be a large kebab but received a small portion of salad with 2 sad slices of cucumber and tomato. The meat was very dry and lacked flavour. Not worth the money, would not recommend.

By far the worse kebab we ever had! Ordered mixed kebab, burger and chips. Kebab was cold, chicken kebab had skin and was grisly 🤢 burger extremely low quality, chips soggy and undercooked in a middle. We had a very hard day and ordered a 'treat' on Friday night, now we both suffer with indigestion. Never again king kebab....

I would praise anywhere I eat that serves good quality food. I rarely post negative reviews but this establishment takes the absolute biscuit. Myself and my friend ordered 2 chicken kebabs this evening and I can honestly say hand on my heart, they were the worst kebabs I've ever eaten. Cold and full of grizzle. It wasn't just mine as my friend was spitting out pieces of grizzle too. The fact that 2 large kebabs with chips with delivery came to £29.00 is an absolute disgrace and a liberty. If I was the owner of this establishment, I would be utterly embarrassed and ashamed. Both kebabs went straight in the bin. I was so shocked I even rang them up to tell them but I feel like they literally couldn't have cared less. The only reason I've given one star is because there isn't an option to give no stars.

Had a lovely Lamb Pathia last night from King Kebab, lovely flavours and the lamb was melt in your mouth and plenty of meat, will return 10/10

To the shop owners amusement, I was insulated by another customer regarding my weight for no apparent reason. Unfortunately the food was as poor as the customer service. Save your money.

Food was delivered late. Reheated chips, dry pita, dry tough chicken, chicken meat in curry was rock hard and burgers baps tasted stale. I think this takeaway gets away with serving poor standard food as most customers are probably tourists and just bin the food after tasting how kak it is. Avoid this place if you can. Definitely not worth the inflated prices. 1 star is too generous. The 5 star reviews must be from the staff .

Giving this place a star, is being generous. After waiting for an hour for delivery, we were completely disappointed. Their quarter pounder cheese burgers were dry and lacked any flavour. The chicken shish was the worst I've ever had. Completely dried out. The value meal 1, was below expectation, nothing positive to say. Please do not waste your money. The price does not reflect the standard of food delivered.

I’m giving this place a generous 1 star out of 5 as the chap who served me was a friendly sort. That aside, be rest assured the five star reviews are definite lies. Pure lies. The food was something out of a bowling alley.

Absolutly discusting and rip off prices and gives all kabab shops a bad name, 2.50 for reheated stale chips, reheated donor meat which was almost see through, this place should be closed down, worst food in st ives , deff avoid

Good place for some halal food in Cornwall. Kebabs and lamb burgers were good, but wouldn't recommend the chicken. Also, it's take away only due to Covid, so can't sit in and eat.

Been there bought Fish and Ships. They were so bad. Please do not buy from them.

Paid £3.50 for cheesy chips a week ago. Now £5.00. Really. Complained a week ago as the cheese was distinct and asked for more. But this week gone up. Still not a lot of cheese. Won’t order again.

Just visiting the area for a love breaker haven holidays and thought I try this place for some dinner and oooo my what a takeaway very friendly and helpful on the phone quick delivery and really tasty food I will be seeing you guys in the future when I come back down this way thank you all for a great dinner

Worse food, not sence in flavour, colour, cold food delivery. Grease lamb doner. Lost money guaranteed. £16. Request in pitta bread sandwich, all open and crack. Half food gone to the garbage. The salad was 80% onion, Nothing healthy food. Minimum standards. We are tourists the council must check of quality standards. The options in the town are limited.

Got to be the worst kebab I have ever had. Cold on delivery (5 minutes away). Kofta kebab.?....squashed burger!!! Extra chilli....I got one! No more for me !!!!

Really nice fresh chicken kebab with decent fresh salad, not messy and sloppy but nice and fresh. Curry full of fresh veg, really tasty, well spiced and nice and light. Just as ordered. I will be returning. PS please don’t change the veg korai recipe, it’s perfect as is 👍🏼👍🏼

Pitta was limp not sure they even warmed it. Pretty tastless chicken they forgot the garlic sauce. Not one member 9f staff was wearing a face covering. I know people can be exempt but every single one?

Never open when says it is why say open until 23.00pm when no answer at 21.30 obviously closed lost my busines from now on

Huge portion, incredible value! Clean, modern venue. The flatbread is a great upgrade on pitta. Extended selection of salad items, sauces & condiments - including 3 types of chilli sauce!

My and my family visited this kebab shop last night. The service was excelent and Fast .. They have a nice selection of food . The kebabs contained so much flavour & the portion sizes were very generous! (Nice Bread) We would definitely recommend St Ives DonerKebab House to everyone.

As a Regular costumer I recommend this place to everyone unique and pleasant place! Perfect taste and big portions!

Visiting area on holiday with gf. Needed something quick as going to theatre. We shared a large mixed kebab and chips and diet coke. £10.. Bargain.. Kebab was massive, loads of chips..More than enough to eat and very tasty. Hadn't had a doner for years and would def have one again from this shop..

I have had a few kebabs and they are always superb, great fresh toppings and salad stuff. The place always looks clean and the people quick and polite, can't ask for more.

Went there on way home from visiting friends at the Sloop, our order wasn't right so called back they replaced it instantly and didn't even charge for tge difference. Happy smiling staff and food was good. Will definitely be using it and happy to recommend
