Moved to Enfield and tried this place I honestly haven’t gone back been using kingfisher for over a year now and never had one problem the staff are lovely and friendly and it’s very fairly priced.

Lovely food and great portion sizes

The food tasted greasy like old oil had been used also very thick batter coating the fish.

Kingfisher is consistently good

So disappointed, been here many times and always enjoyed the food, but looks like new people or new chef, ordered a chicken shish WRAP with salad and sauce, got home had a chicken kebab with pitta bread and no sauce and a tiny amount of salad, the chicken was barley cooked, chips were so soggy, I threw it in the bin had no taste what so ever, won't be going back

Chips were soggy and had black spots on poor quality oil was used . The fish tasted funny and the batter just fell off and was soaked in old oil I just had to throw it away. Won’t be buying anything else from here and will not recommend anyone else does either.

Bought a chicken and mushroom pie and chips (02.07.24). The pie was cold, considering it had been sitting in the hot plate. The chips were vile. They were just fried and undercooked. The main issue was the quality of the potatoes, absolute trash. Look at the picture, almost half of the chips could not to be consumed, well not by me….

I recently ordered fish and chips, and I was quite disappointed with the quality of the meal. The fish was extremely oily and it seemed like the oil hadn't been cleaned properly. Additionally, the chips were dry and some were even brown. Overall, the meal did not meet my expectations and I was very dissatisfied with my order.

By the time the food got to my house, the chips were cold and the fish was cold, rubbery and tasteless. The curry sauce was cold and had a sour taste. Threw most of it away. Not happy. Total waste of money.

Cod and chips were fresh and piping hot, desert was also very fresh, good delivery time too.

Really nice portion sizes and the food was really hot. Excellent prices on food. Also you could tell it was cooked fresh 👌un like some places that leave the food on the side, you could clearly tell it was cooked from fresh and I really enjoyed it.

First time we have tried from here. Everyone was happy and complimentary about all the food and large portions too. We will be ordering from here again.

It's not a place I would recommend. Got fish ,chips, and mushy peas. My wife got Donna kabab. Both meals went straight into the bin. Fish rock hard and dried out, chips were warm ups, and the so-called mushy peas tasted vile. Wife's Kabab was dried up also to the point that she could not bite through it. If I had been served this back home, it would have been thrown right back at the place. The one star is so I can leave this comment and review. Otherwise, it would be minus. 5.. This is not my normal award for any other of my reviews

We bought 3 cod and chips. 2 cods were so soft, like we had to cook in oven. We have ordered from here before, and it was really good fish and chips. I'm not sure what changed, to be honest. The chips all had dark spots. After eating chips and 1 cod, we were really put off takeaway. The only good side was the delivery driver was a nice guy. But yes we won't be ordering again.

Resturant would not answer the phone and waited 2 hours for dinner and it arrived cold, shame as this place is normally A*, but this was ridiculous

No Food delivered - Driver has my phone number if he got lost - No Just Eat map So I couldn't see where driver was - I Gave good instructions how to get here Just Eat say food has been delivered that's two people without food after paying £14 Outrageous - Restaurant phone ringing off the hook - Phone started to ring they put the phone down when it connected. Used Just Eat option to get them to call me doesn't look like they will - In the past they just say contact Just Eat to get a refund I can't see any way to contact Just Eat to request one Can you help???

We waited over an hr and a half, I called when it was almost 20 mins passed the arrival slot assured the driver was there but it was 20 mins later when he finally arrived. The food was cold and it was caked to the saturated cardboard (no liner was in the box either) and the boxes literally fell apart. 3/4th of it all went in the bin so I'm obviously not happy at all.

The sausages was fresh Talland chips OK but tht driver I said yes yes wen e said cheers but e stopped jus ther lokin frm es angle to my corridor distance away I dnt no wat tht was all abt seemed odd behavior

Not the most friendly of places but the food is ok. I sat inside with friends but didn't feel so welcome. Chips are nice so will just use as delivery.

Food came about 40 mins late. Pitta bread for the chicken kebab was soggy and the chips were cold, garlic sauce was one of the worst I’ve had.

Although cod and chips were delivered late, it was worth waiting for. Fish was freshly cooked, delicious and filling. Chips were also large and chunky. This is what I call typical & quality Fish & Chips.

This is the secound time the food has been cold and to make it worse they had reheated the chips .totally and utterly disgusting

Fantastic food real not frozen chips huge portion maybe offer small/half medium portion to save waste. Fish was tasty batter crispy and piping hot when it arrived better than most other Fish and Chip outlets some even closer to where I live arrive cold although I didn't understand why there's a £1.50 delivery charge most outlets offer free delivery over a certain order minimum and didn't 'Service Charges' used to be included in the cost of the food feels like I'm being charged twice As a pensioner this was a treat food good though

Oh hang on, EVERYTHING we ordered was cold, literally, even the kids wouldn’t touch the chips, stone cold, not even tepid and hard, burger, 2 x kebabs, all cold and inedible, the only hot thing (and not temperature) was the pot of chilli sauce, used to order from here quite a lot, no more, £30 gone in the bin

Sadly the driver took him too long to deliver, so the fish and chips were soggy and cold, the kebab cold. First time being disappointed from them. Hopefully, we will have better experience next time.

WORST FISH AND CHIPS SHOP EVER!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! JUST CHECK OUT OTHER PEOPLE'S REVIEWS.. Ordered fish and large chips for myself and sausage batter and chips for my wife. First of all, we didn't receive the portion of chips for my wife's order, secondly the food arrived late and thirdly it was cold! We called the shop for a refund for the chips, a week later and still no refund. Also, they were extremely rude and arrogant, we didn't even get an apology for their error which ruined our Saturday night takeaway.

1 hour late. Food was cold. Called restaurant when 20 minutes late and was told driver on way should be approx 6 minutes. Still arrived 40 minutes after. An honest 1st reply would have been more acceptable.

I dnt ko wat kind of iloill was used it tasted old the fish was coked OK and crisp and soft and seem fresh I presume thr pie at the bottom gt over done in the microwave or it did taste odd the fish cake tht oily taste but was fresh indeed they could of thrown in a fee can of drink at lease fr tht amount of money ridiculous in the end fr sum apparently reason I threw up all this foad I av to giv my comments u must understandings

Food was 10 minutes late but it was hot and delicious when it arrived.

Gutted as I couldn’t rate this place enough previously!! However I don’t know what’s happened since then, maybe the cooks on holiday, or changed chef. but it was awful, and I’ve been ill all day today after eating it. Really disappointing and won’t order from again. I was perfectly fine before eating that order. They arrived on time , and food was hot, but gherkin was soft, and the roll was a burger bun ! The curry sauce ( I have no idea what that was but definitely wasn’t curry sauce) and it had lumps of something in it. The only thing that was passable was the chips, but even they weren’t up to scratch this time. Such a shame . But I think it’s put me off fast food for good.

Wrong drink was delivered. Bottle received was 1.25L instead of 1.5L as advertised

Took over 1 hour and 30 minutes to arrive, when arrived chips were cold and soggy, the curry sauce was cold and clumpy and the chicken was warm ish and extremely dry.

The chips was super hard it wasn’t cooked well and the fish was so wet and soggy
