Absolutely despicable place. I was enjoying a day out with my family when my small child was desperate for the toilet. I went in to here so my child could use the restroom as he was struggling. And got confronted by a RUDE member of staff asking “are you ok” I replied “yes my little one is desperate for the toilet” she looked at me and stated “it’s for customers only” I said “but it’s for my child” she then replied “customers only” disgusting staff they need to understand when a child needs to go they need to go. Disgusting to not let a small child use the restroom because we were not CUSTOMERS. I understand there are rules in place, but to refuse a small child a basic need is DISGUSTING !!!! And they should be ashamed of themselves.

Nice looking decor, good selection on menu however. Five of us ordered, individually. One with allergies and intolerances, which we discussed with staff. She ordered a Jacket potato, no butter (dairy) no salad (tomatoes) with beans and ham. The jackets arrived along with two other meals. It had cheese and beans with butter and salad, we politely explained that wasn't what was ordered and that the cheese and butter would make our friend ill and the tomatoes would kill her. They apologised and took it away. I enjoyed my chilli dog and one of our friends enjoyed her pork sandwich (despite having ordered pork loaded fries) a second jacket was brought out, with butter, beans, ham and salad. They offered to try again but my friend asked for a refund no longer trusting they'd manage her requirements. Two of our friends never received their meals and also requested a refund. Staff were apologetic and complied but over all it was a stressful and unpleasant experience.

Went here with my family for lunch had the jacket potato Was perfectly cooked plenty of filling. New owners were very lovely and friendly. Will definitely be a returning customer.

food was not very good at all my autistic grandson was told the toilet was out of order when i was not so my son had to take him out of the shop to a arcade over the road. another female customer went to use the toilet and came back complaining how dirty it was so a member of staff went to clean if complaining that another customer had done it and the customer pointed out they should check it more often. when i complained the owner eventually came down and made all the excuses he could and not helpful at all and no refund, when I left I used the toilet and they still had out of order written on the door so as i walked out i ask if they were going to cover the writing on the door they said it was in marker pen and they could not do so then the icing on the cake was when we walked back to get the bus the café owner was on the street selling vapes ! yes another job. PS i forgot to mention the knife that have something stuck on it in the clean cutlery tray and they remains of a sticky label that was on more than one table,,, had the owner been more polite I would have told him how to remove this in seconds but his luck was out this time. I live in Skeg so a big mistake has been made

As an American style diner it certainly looks the part. We could smell the food from the opposite side of the road. Thought we would give it a whirl and so glad we did, my wife had the piggy burger which is suitable named with 3 burgers bacon in-between each , I went with the chilli cheese dog, both were superb, so much flavour and the burger came with the best home made coleslaw I've ever had. We will be going again. The only reason I gave them 4/5 is because I would of liked to see a selection of American drinks instead of the fridge

The food was nice but the service not so great. There was a child who had no idea what he/she was doing and wouldnt even supply my elderly grandfather a knife when asked for one instead he/she just pointed expecting him to get it himself when you can clearly see he is clearly got promblems Also the toilets was out of order

normally struggle finding good food in skegness/ingolmels but wow amassing food and very friendly staff

We went in as a family of 5 not really expecting much and we where very surprised. The food was lovely and the service was fast and friendly. Definitely worth a visit. Thanks to the cooks as well the food was lovely.

Good food and good value. Pulled pork was lovely and hot dogs are huge. Fast service and pleasant staff. We sat inside next to sliding windows which was perfect for a hot summers day

We visited on a day trip to ingoldmells, we ordered four lots of chips two of them cheesy chips (they don't do gravy! ) they then proceeded to put in some frozen oven chips to the deep fat fryer ! Service was disgusting the girl who served us had a terrible attitude! The chips were awful. Felt so disappointed ! We then went to buy two bottles of pop £4.40 what a joke . Avoid

Food was dog poo waste if my money the soles of my 20 year old shoes are thicker than the burgers even my dog spat it out

Food was nice and good portions but the service was very slow. 3 people behind counter 2 general cleaning while I waited to get served for 10 minutes. People left in the que behind me fed up. Staff need educating on customer service

We were served up stale brownies and girl overheard me say it was dry and tasted like it was out of date she then binned the cake. Staff were rude and bit unpleasant especially young boy who served us our burgers and young girl in ice cream bit. Wont be going here again. Only helpful woman was the one that told us we could use the toilet even though it said it was out of order.... have given 1 star but that was for nice lady

First time visit and will definitely be returning. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Everything cooked well and came out hot. The eggs were perfect. Only criticism would be to put hash browns on the medium breakfast so you don’t have to add them. Clean and very modern. Would be lovely to have some music playing to match the environment. Highly recommend

So glad that we chose here for breakfast was well worth the stop. The meals were cooked just right and also they were helpfull when we had on fussy eater with us. If your hungry don't go over the road come here thank you guys see you next holiday

2 big breakfast 1 bacon and sausage sandwich 3 bottles of water just v2r £17.00 great freindly staff and fod was beautifully cooked nice and fresh. Will come again next time

Paid £3.20 for a "jumbo hot dog" and the quality was atrocious! It was your typical cheap, nasty, never-seen-a-pig chip shop sausage. I ate the bun and the onions. Would most definitely not return to this greasy spoon.

We ate in here while we were away. It was lovely the prices were great and the food was very tasty. Lovely little place.

This is now ‘Empire Diner’ We paid £12.80 for two takeaway cheeseburgers and 1 portion of chips. The chips had no flavour, probably oven chips from the freezer. The burger tasted cheap and greasy. If I’m paying £5 for a burger then I expect it to be tasty. Ordered from the takeaway window and waited 10 minutes whilst they gave cooked burgers to customers who ordered burgers after us.

Me and my partner ate here several times while in Ingoldmells. The Pork and Gravy Sandwhich and Foot Long Hotdogs are the best. The staff are always polite and pleasant and very efficient. The food is priced reasonably and very nice. We will be back

came here with hubby for cooked breakfast, ordered went inside and on third attempt got a barely clean table, asked for a cloth as there was sugar all over and it took the lad serving about 10 mins to find one!!! figure this is why the rest of the tables were filthy.. He finally came over and flicked the sugar everywhere so i had to resort to a pack of hand tissues and rewipe it all. someone came in and said they had just had a spillage near doorway of fried egg.. owner acknowledged him then ignored it and it was still there when we left.

My partner and I visit her at least once every time we visit the area. The Foot Long Hotdogs and Pork sandwich's are our favourites. Always the same, always well cooked and ALWAYS yummy! The staff are pleasant and efficient.

Visitamos este café todos los días para el desayuno y siempre tuvimos un gran desayuno y una cama king desayuno de buen tamaño. La comida siempre era fresco y sabor increíble. A menudo visitado este lugar por la noche por un pie largo perro caliente. Me gustaría decir que el personal y los propietarios nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos todos los días y fue una deliciosa visita cada vez. Recomendaría este lugar si quieres tener una buena llenar en el desayuno, el gran es genial. Tienen sillas altas para los niños, incluso los platos de los niños para nosotros.
