The food hygiene rating is 2.. do I need to really say more about this?! My sister ordered the crispy pork in Mongolian sauce amongst other things such as the pork wontons & soup. Not even by midnight she was up vomiting…this is definitely food poisoning. I had the same Mongolian sauce but with crispy chicken & salt/pepper crispy prawns. Thankfully I’m okay, but the food itself was mediocre and bordering on the term gross, I couldn’t finish it. I can’t understand why there are so many good reviews, but anyway, this is my experience ordering from this place and we definitely won’t be ordering here again.

Ordered a takeaway from here after reading the good reviews. I had a large spring roll that was literally dripping in oil (See photo) and a king prawn curry which was the most blandest thing i have ever eaten. It literally tasted of nothing. I’m yet to find a good Chinese Takeaway in the Stafford area, the standard of ‘Chinese’ food is appalling.

I got recommended to Kim’s kitchen by a customer at work after I told her my usual is closed on some days and I didn’t like any of the others on justeat as they weren’t very good and let me tell you Kim’s kitchen will now be my go to as the food was absolutely delicious it tasted fresh and arrived nice and hot. The chips were definitely the best I’ve had from a Chinese and their chow mien and crispy chilli chicken was full of flavour and the sauce was lovely not too sweet like from other places but also not too spicy that it’s unpleasant to eat. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a new Chinese takeaway place in Stafford. 10/10

Visited Kim’s again today... this time for fish curry! (And the well good chips we always get) the service is so good, the vibe is chirpy and positive, always leave there smiling with a belly full of love. I also heard some new local music when I was there today. Big salute to all the staff down there... Go check Kim’s out. ITS THE SPOT! And the dog loves it!

After my regular Chinese closed in Acton Gate I looked on TripAdvisor for some where new and saw Kims Kitchen had 5 stars. Although the food did taste fresh I would say it's a very average Chinese. To me the food tasted very peppery, even the rice. The pork ribs starter whilst tender did not have any taste, the beef in black bean sauce again was tender but tasted more of pepper than black beans. I appreciate is personal taste but I will not go again...tip they only take cash in the shop- no cards are accepted.

Kim’s Kitchen has never let us down on a variety of dishes! Superior to other similar takeaways in Stafford. I would definitely recommend! They’re also usually pretty quick for delivery, and the food is always piping hot on delivery.

It could be better. The food was ready on time and was easy to order through the website but it wasn't very enjoyable. I am concerned that this is supposed to be the best Chinese take away in Stafford according to the other reviews. Here's hoping theres better out there.

We've used Kims at least 8 times over the last year. Every time food has been delicious and hot, fresh ingredients and a real change from the 'bulk bought and heated' approach of many takeaways. Great choice of dishes and a very reasonable delivery charge. Choose Kim's!

Had a takeaway a few time and food is always hot and deliciously cooked, even friends from Burton have tried when at mine and said it was the best they had had........a must try, you won't be disappointed

Excellent food, speedily delivered. Best Chinese I've had in a long time. We had the Yuk Sung and spare ribs with Peking sauce for starter followed by roast pork with ginger and spring onion and beef Szechuan. We had side portions of soft noodles and mushrooms. Everything tasted fresh with some lovely combinations of spices. We left some only because a) we ordered too much and b) the portions are large. Highly recommended.

Great service with a smile delivered to my door on Monday evening (when no one else was open) Food delicious, hot, fresh and very tasty...my new favourite. I will now use Kim's Kitchen every time I fancy Chinese cuisine.

Flavours! Finally! Kim's Kitchen is proud of their food, you can taste it. I had a variety of dishes, all had bags of flavours. TIP: The best Sesame Prawn Toast I had in a very long time.

I ordered the lemon chicken and it was burnt and the chicken was chewy. It was awful. Never eating from there again.

In short this little chinese for us is the best in Stafford. Everything we've ordered has been cooked to perfection. Fast reliable delivery service too. Try you wont be disappointed.

Food was lovely but for the second time we ordered they forget the drink/s unsure why but this time I double checked and the lady couldn't even refund me because she only bought the exact amount of change but on the plus side she did go get me one. Delivery took an hour, a little excessive when am only round the corner?

Waited 1 hour 15 mins for delivery on a Monday night!! Chips were dry, sweet & sour sauce tasted strange, chicken balls were over cooked. Need I go on?!

food is fantastic, they don't cut corners, the service is extremely friendly and deals with customers on a personal level, making several adjustments based on the customer's needs. Just would like a quicker arrival.

Chowmein was great, starters were good . Chips were slightly over done and Satay skewers were poor (Not good quality chicken)

Lovely meat and not too fatty like some places! We really enjoyed our meal of Kung Po, mushrooms, chicken fried rice and chips! :)

After waiting nearly 2 hours for my meal to arrive even tho I only ordered a small amount this included just apps and some chips.. (Prawn toast, 4 spareribs and 4 chicken balls) the food was ok, was a little dry.. After questioning the delivery Man on the time it took I was met with i just deliver the food.. Do the takeaway and the driver not communicate... I don't understand how ur customers are met by the drivers u would think u would at least get them to apologise for the lateness but on no.. I will not be using these again.. Just be aware people you may have to wait a long time for ur food..

Could do better with the chicken and chips like adding some gravey mushrooms tomatoes I found the chicken chips dry without the sause

Food was amazing. Had to wait 2 hours for delivery. In the end I drove and picked it up myself. Tried to ring. But the phone was engaged.(for a hour before i went and picked it up myself) but I did get a free bottle of Pepsi. Food was really good. So tasty.

Our food arrived well within the time stated. The portions were very generous so we made two meals out of each dish, absolutely delicious food. Cannot fault Kims kitchen, we will be eating here again.

Best Chinese restaurant in stafford. Polite, quality food and relatively prompt delivery, we love the other side of town so it was as quick as it could have been. Highly recommend!

Delivered 30 minutes earlier than expected, and was exceptional.

Ordered food at 7.30 , the stated expected delivery was 8.15pm , 1 hour later still no food. Rang up to a rude member of staff saying they were busy and it would be another 30-45 mins , another hour later rang again to say food was on its way. Good arrived at 9.40 no apology from delivery. Food was ok but doesn't compensate waiting 2 hours for. Overall very disappointed as are only visiting , won't be ordering from there again if in the area and wish id of gone somewhere else and saved myself the waste of time.

delivery time was stated at 7:50 pm on email, however when I phoned at 8:10 pm to find out where food was they hadn't started cooking the order claiming delivery was 8:30 pm, VERY UNHELPFUL AND RUDE on the phone would recommend you go elsewhere for some level of customer service
