Incredibly rude member of staff who clearly did not like children. Very disappointed with their customer service today.

Good coffee and fresh scones. Pleasant enough seating area around which was informative local historical information. Also, good interactive area for younger children. Service good and although hot food stops at 4pm, coffee and teas etc served until 5pm. Only negatives are; no signage, anywhere, directing visitors to the cafe/ shop together with the fact that the loos are not signposted at all and on asking, was directed to another separate building, with poor lighting, access and hygiene. This was a big negative.

Small menu but lovely fresh food. Had the soup and scone, best tomato soup I’ve ever had. Piping hot and scone was superb. Family also had coffee and sausage rolls again very nice and hot. Staff were helpful and very friendly.

Helpful and welcoming staff. The cafe had enough sitting and was kept clean. We ordered 2 kids lunches with ham sandwiches and they exceeded usual kid sandwich sizes, but were throughly enjoyed. Hot drinks and breakfast baps filled a gap. It’s a cafe, in a tourist location, doing a good job.

Stopped for a cup,of tea and a cake. Quickly told to sit anywhere as the cafe was not busy. A bubbly waitress took our order of a pot of tea and a Mango Tango flavoured tea, a cake and a scone. Drinks arrived but the milk for the tea had turned. It was quickly replaced along with a second pot of tea free of charge. (Never going to be able to drink all that tea) The Mango Tango tea was fabulous. We had to go and ask if we could have our cakes as they had forgotten. The cakes were very very nice. So apart from the dodgy milk and memory, it was very nice.

Just opened last Thursday so small teething problems but I'm sure it will be a great little bar as the staff were very attentive. The upstairs lounge looks great btw. Will visit again when back down.

Fantastic place with wonderful service. I went there on a cold November day and ordered the most delicious caramel apple crumble to take away and they threw in some custard in a separate container. Lovely staff and a lovely shop.

Dogs are welcomed. Selling Homemade jams and chutneys. Lovely coffee and ginger cake. Highly recommend after a stroll around the parks.

Two waitresses, one young and cheerful one not so. Similarly my wife's Apple Pie light, moist and tasty, my Almond slice not so. Tea served in coffee cups, toilet facilities a bit primitive, and not cheap.
