KIKAbeach in Weymouth and Portland

Nice mix of tapas, snacks and cocktails. Very chilled and kris back atmosphere, perhaps too laid back in some cases. A sweater and jeans for waitress was a bit too casual I thought. Other than that it was a great place, we've been twice with visitors we've had over who have all really enjoyed it.

Not the first time I've been here, visited many times over the years. Current staff and cocktail menu are great. Decor was very Hallowen and a lot of fun. Will always pop in when in Weymouth 😀

Went there today for first time despite being a frequent visitor to Weymouth. Food was spot on and the service was so friendly. Definitely going back on my next visit

Really nice staff, really tasty food

Visiting Weymouth and Kika Beach has been our go-to for entertainment! Great expresso martini made by Evie, Keiran made us welcome every time we came in. He’s been friendly, informative and great fun to speak to each time we visited. Runs the bar excellently. The band and singer on Friday were great, danced into early hours, then spent a lazy Sunday drinking cocktails and chilling with great soundtrack- thanks Kika Beach!

Some of the best tapas I've had outside of Spain

A real gem! Gorgeous cocktails and the tapas is really tasty and generous portions. We were served by Ella who was really friendly and said if there was any cocktail that was not on the menu that I would like she would do her utmost to make it. We loved it so much here that we visited again the following evening for cocktails. The place overlooks the sea and the decoration inside Kika and outside is really fun and bright with a real holiday feel. Would highly recommend this place.

Lovely cocktails and lovely staff, would be better if there was more than one member of staff on during the day as the service is a little slow.

Visited Weymouth Beach today and was absolutely impressed with this clean, establishment. Used the toilet after a 2 hour coach trip. Was immediately impressed with the bathroom, really blew me away, with the fixtures and fittings. Very clean, loved the decor. Amazing location across from the beach front. Food was amazing, ordered the hash tower, and a cappuccino with oat milk. Beautiful presentation of meal and beverage. Cappacino was served with a small busicuit. Pleasant touch. Food was succulent and spices, infusion with fresh onions and peppers, topped off with sauces and smooth avocado on the side. Beautiful. Service was exceptional, thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience and price was on point considering the staffs approach to customer care. Staff often asked if we were ok, and was happy to swap or replace option on the menu. Music was great, vibe and atmosphere was pleasant, free, safe. Easy five stars...x

Fantastic bar/beach club! Lovey vibe, brilliant Maître d' she made us feel welcome and even found us outside seating. Food was delicious, we had some tapas. Can't fault the place, there was even live music about to start as we where leaving

One of the best places from Weymouth for delicious seafood. The staf is amazing and the view as well. Really recomend 2 dishes as they are quite small. We spent 140 for 4 persons, 4 drinks and 6 different dishes. Strongly recommend.

Disgusting how they treat people. We are regular members of the bar Next Door the nook however due to protest the nook was closed so we dried out Kika. we arrived at 7:50 my friend needed the toilet and we didn’t know if the outside area was open so before we could order she went to use the toilet he sent her back out so we went in and asked for a seat. I asked if we could use the toilet. He replied with we were being hostile. I explained I was nervous on the outside happenings so we waited outside to see if we could sit. He made all 3 of us feel unwelcome. I said we should leave. He said it’s best you do. Awful so ended up going to sambo and the staff were lovely!!!!! Strawberry blonde hair male with an ear piercing around 25. Learn how to treat people.

me and my friend both got the chef surprise deal and it was absolutely divine, the chef curated an amazing selection of dishes that all had the perfect sauces, spices and garnishing honestly a 10/10. the bartenders and servers were extremely welcoming and super friendly. the bartender is amazing at making the cocktails, super refreshing and the right amount of sweet. servers were extremely informative and they make you feel extremely cozy and relaxed. amazing job to everyone on shift today, will definitely return 🤍

Came in for a quick lunch. Had the smash burger and a watermelon sugar hi. And they were both fantastic. Atmosphere was everything you want in a seafront restaurant. The staff were fantastic and very friendly especially kieran. Great bar man and top mixologist. Could not recommend enough.

Only came in for one cocktail celebrating a 60th. Each cocktail was lovely. Most of our party had tipsy tide, which is similar to a pina colada. They all liked it, however one of the party said she couldn't taste the coconut. The bar staff were great, but I did have to ask which cocktail was which as I ordered two different drinks. Would have liked it if he told me, rather than asking. The atmosphere was great, and the waitresses were lovely. Didn't have food, but what we saw coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. Did take a view of the menu, and it looked varied, with great options.

Nice place , food was ok , thought it would be a little nicer as it was on the front and for the cost . Dogs welcome though which was a good thing . Front awning was leaking heavily so there was at least 3 tables getting wet .

After being let down in another restaurant that took our booking but was closed on arrival, managed to get a walk in at Kika. Evie, Eva and Kaitlin looked after us. Food was fantastic. Great experience.

If you like loud music, but not too loud during you tapas and beer, take a seat in the back. We had a wonderful waitress, I don't know how she does it, but she must have eyes in the back of her head. Excellent service in a busy beach club.

We had my 50th birthday dinner here. The service was very good and the food was fantastic. We had the tapas which didn’t disappoint. A great selection and very good prices. It was very clean and welcoming. The music was a bit to loud but I think that is more to do with my age 🙄 There was a mixture of ages which blended well.

Tapas is great value and great tasting. The cocktails are even better! I would highly recommend the Don Russian. The staff were so friendly and attentive.

Only stopped for a drink. Sitting outside, drinking iced coffee on a sunny day overlooking the bay with Spanish music being played. Excellent. Also the staff were great.

Absolutely stunning place. I had my birthday party here last night and it was wonderful and every single person had a blast. I had the Smash burger which was so juicy and delicious (defo having this again) and I went around the tables and asked everyone how they liked their food and EVERY one enjoyed what they had, alot! The chef Roscoe is 5 star, every meal cooked beautifully. The menu here has variety (alot of vegetarians in the family) so everyone was happy with their choice especially whilst eating it. The bar and floor staff were amazing and attentive and made sure I was happy with my booking area etc and also put up with alot of our children and dogs running around. Highly recommend Kika Beach ⛱️ for literally ANY occasion. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stopped here for a cocktail, then ended up staying for a while. The menu was small but easily found something that did not disappoint. I had sole fillet and my wife had a smashed burger. The sauce with the fish was great and the burger patties were very tasty and filling. We had a few cocktails as they were great and the music was good but later a dj turned up and it was great. Would definitely go back.

Been twice this week. Both times staff were friendly and accommodating. Came once with my dog and they were welcoming. And then came after disappointment treatment of accommodating my disabled parents by Bella’s next door we came to Kika and was greeted outside with friendly staff. Offered a chair to my dad and accommodated the breakfast request. Both times great, especially for coffee and breakfast. Far better than the menu and service at Bella’s!

First of all, beautiful place with a great location. Unfortunately, the service was TERRIBLE. I ordered a Tispy Tide. In the picture you can see the ingredients listed that should be in the drink. I wasn't made aware that the ingredients used were different from the menu as I trust the menu given to me. The waitress with long blond hair (I apologise I didn't catch her name) was adament that even though the coconut cream was changed for coconut syrup taste, I quote "exactly the same". You can see again in the picture that I have attached that it is not the same. She and her colleague who made the cocktail couldn't care less. I was the table next to the bar, I could hear their conversation (sorry guys but be careful next time you moan about a client that they at least don't hear you 😅). Anyway, if they would have changed it for something else or made me aware before ordering that the ingredients were different it wouldn't have been a big deal. Her attitude was really unprofessional, not disgusting but unprofessional. Don't make me pay £9 a cocktail when the cocktail does NOT contain the same ingredients as the menu.

Was an outstanding meal had the cheese croquettes, and fries and then ordered another portion of croquettes as they were to die for. Would highly recommend this place as well as food for service, and brilliant drinks.

Kika what a gem Pop in for late breakfast with a friend and wow. The bartender Kieran welcome us really warm with some nice appetisers(cocktails) I order selections of cured meats and cheese board absolutely love it My mate order cheesy, mash croquettes and they were delightful “he said” another member of staff Joshua was looking after us and was so helpful Really nice place and definitely will back recommending 100%

Nice outdoor bar area with a good atmosphere and great cocktail selection and were delicious. It is bar service only so did not really interact with staff and the kitchen was closed when we arrived at 3 so we were not able to try the food. Nice beach view and road isn’t too busy

Dived in on a Saturday evening, got a table. Ordered some drinks and burgers. Did not get time to photo food as was too hungry 🤣. Solid 9/10 for the beef burger with pretzel bun. Super tasty and packed with extras, crispy fries as well. Would have been a 10 but served on a bit of wood, did get a side plate however. Loved it. It was one tasty cheeseburger MF.

Popped in here to escape rain. Service friendly and drinks came quickly. Reasonably clean but floor needed sweeping. Some outdoor seating which Would be great on a less windy day.

It's a good option in Weymouth, though I didn't feel like it's really a tapas bar in the strictest sense, with larger dishes being the primary focus of the menu.

For teenagers wanting to get drunk or pull

Popped in because it was open and had live music. Other than that not a lot I personally could recommend but then aimed at a younger audience than me.

Came for a tapas lunch. Absolutely delicious food; the chorizo in red wine a particular standout. And the very best Bloody Mary my partner had ever had. So good, in fact, that I moved away from my beer for a rum punch, also grand. Came with a toddler, staff were very accommodating with extra plates and milk- lovely folk. Overall a great Weymouth lunch experience. Can't recommend enough.

Go there. Now! Tapas is out of this world. Seriously. Quesadilla and Chorizo is 11/10. Happy hour 6-8pm. Great margaritas. Are you still here? What is wrong with you?!

Great seafood paella big enough for three !!

Brilliant food and fast service with a great view. We had paella, salad and 2 kids meals and couldn’t fault the food. Next time we are in Weymouth we will definitely be coming back

Best bar in Weymouth.... Absolutely love this place we were made to feel so welcome. The staff are so friendly and go out of there way to help. Denni is super hard working friendly and helpful Kieran is a little gem he has made our visits amazing very good at his job... Cocktails are out of this world. Food is so lovely very tasty and brilliantly presented. Every detail is thought of. Love the whole Ibiza/Portuguese feel to the place so clean just a perfect little treasure smack bang on the beach even had our cocktails to take away 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Very strange Calamari masquerading as Scampi and a really annoying person serving who kept clapping her hands really loudly as she moved around the restaurant area. Will eat in Harveys next door in the future.

We had tapas and cocktails, the food came out straight away it was delicious. I told the waitress who was serving us compliments to the chef. We ordered cocktails after fresh and lovely. We came here for my girlfriend birthday definitely worth giving a try will recommend it to friends when we’re in Weymouth again.. great service friendly staff !!!!!!!! ☺️

Came here on Saturday evening. The cocktails were amazing and very reasonably priced, as were the other drinks. A round of six spirits and cocktails came to £32!!! Great atmosphere. The in-house DJ played old skool tunes all night which people got up to dance to - men and women. Highly recommend this place!!! Superb! (Cannot comment on the food as only came for drinks!)

Josh was an absolute superstar, came in for drinks and was super hungry, he heard talking about wanting meatballs and got the kitchen to do it right before they closed. Amazing cocktails and even better service. Thank you josh!

Stopped for a couple of beers and some of the tapas at lunchtime. It's in a great position. We were sat inside which is table service. The big down side was the service speed; staff are friendly but not very attentive meaning that we were sat with empty glasses when we could have been drinking and it was nearly an hour for the 3 tapas dishes to arrive at the table. Other guests were also commenting on the delay. Apparently training a new chef. Anyway, the food and drinks were very good and if they sort the speed of service out I'll update the review, but for now only 3 star overall rating
