Khwaja Indian Takeaway in Kettering

Arrived very quickly with complementary poppadoms but the 2 lamb curries we ordered as madras were both full of red food colouring and so hot we couldn't eat them. The pashwari naan was nice . The vegetable rice I can't comment on as it was so hot with the sauce from the curry! I feel like I wasted my money ☹️

How this takeaway gets a 3 rating is beyond me! I don’t live in Kettering but every time I have ordered here the food has been amazing. Fantastic choice, on time, hot, beautiful flavours and the staff are polite and friendly. If I were local I’d use them every time. Will be back and can’t recommend them high enough. Thanks for an amazing meal tonight!

ordered meal for 1810 was within a few minutes of that but the meal wasn't very warm, considering it's within 1/2 a mile not too good, meal was far too much for two people, will order meal for one next time, was really tasty just not very warm

Ordered paneer and potato side , there was no paneer in the dish and they had used cheddar cheese, hardly any chicken in biryani.

Order arrived on time and as requested, tried a dish I hadn't had before and it was very tasty.

Amazing as always. Unfortunately we were missing our onion bhajis but these things happen and we got our money back.

First time ordering from here and the last time. How you can end up with soft popadoms is beyond me, unless they have been cooked for a long time, the garlic naan was tasteless and extremely thin, then we come onto the mixed balti, so bland it went in the bin along with the garlic rice. One of the worst curries I’ve ever had.

The takeaway does not deserve its 3 odd stars,the meals are always hot fresh and full of flavour. I’ve tried a varied selection of the menu over the last 2 years and I can wholeheartedly says I’ve never had a bad/chewy piece of meat be it lamb chicken or indeed any of the keema offerings. Nanns are always light and well flavoured. Currys always have 8/9 good size chunks of chicken the lamb tends to smaller but this is down to cost I imagine. Starters such as paneer ticka onion bakes and a prawn or chicken puri’s are all fantastic and they do the best onion bajee in Kettering TRUST ME. We always use them and have been happy for the last 24 months please keep it up

Ordered a takeaway, was really pleased with everything, didn't have to wait long for the food to be delivered, the curries were excellent recommend chicken tikka mirchi massala and the ceylon both delicious and spicy really enjoyed, and also the chill cheese naan bread was delicious and poppodams good too, thank you.

After reading the reviews and paying quite a high amount for the food, we were expecting good things but received probably one of the worst Indian takeaways we’ve had. The food was dry, but very greasy, we got given about a tablespoon of salad and the smallest portion of fries.

A happy mistake. Here's the thing. I love a curry but like to try different curries from different restaurants. I had two minutes at work to order a curry for that evening, and forgot to search by nearest, and ordered from Khwaja in the next town away. I felt bad for dragging the delivery driver so far away. But It was lovely food And the delivery driver was a delight

First time ordering from this restaurant, ordered set dinner for two. The food was very tasty and wasn't too spicy. The portions are generous and didn't go hungry by any means. Will be ordering again for sure.

Service was great and the sides/starters were lovely. Naan breads were amazing as always. Wasn’t keen on the chicken in the curry as it didn’t seem that great quality but the veggie curries were nice. We ordered multiple quantities of a veggie Madras so we could have leftovers, and realised later that we only had the one container of that particular item.

If I could give a 0 star was there I would I ordered a pick up and was missing food when I collected after calling the shop was called a lier when I went back to collect the missing items was shouted at was called well let's say she was not afraid saying I was a white British man after this the fellow staff asked her to leave even tho she worked there and she is back there after this incident

We caught our female driver in a red car eating our food out the window, called the restaurant they then replaced 1 of the curry dishes (out of a few ordered) and replaced a popadom that was also trashed due to the state the food arrived in, after spending over £50 on 4 curries, we decided to cook at home

Take away option: Delivered in good time, hot and very very tasty, perfect portion size. 100% better than the well known Rockingham road venues.

I rang up to make an order for 8 people last Saturday. The lady on the phone was excellent. I rang and asked to order in groups to make it easier for me to work out money. It was SO smooth. At the end of the conversation I thanked the girl for making it so quick and easy. Food came within 40 minutes and the delivery woman was also so lovely. Food was so good. I really think it’s the best in Kettering.

My go to Indian, however don't trust the delivery times. Generally arrives about 30-40 mins after ordering, then they click the "out for delivery" button. However, for the food, always fantastic, always going to be my go to in kettering

Not so long ago I would have said that this place was the best Indian in town but seems to have dropped there standard a bit. They used to do homemade meat samosas but now they are the little hard ones that you seem to always get from most Indians. The curry’s are lovely though. Would suggest to get the tandoori chicken with your curry. Just seems to be a bit of a hit and miss weather your going to get a good takeaway or not and for the price of all takeaways, I want to get my moneys worth!

3 small king prawns in loads of sauce. 6 tiny pieces of chicken in loads of sauce. Not impressed at all. Very pricey for a tiny amount of food. Thought we’d try this restaurant but definitely won’t be using again. Will stick to The Royal Bengal in future. Really disappointed

Tasty tasty food with the option of ordering it at my desired level of spiciness! Couldn't fault it. A bit oily but, Indian food does tend to be a bit that way. Easily drained off and the food enjoyed immensely. Would recommend and order again from them x

Super fast delivery, the duck curry was over cooked with the duck a little tough. Otherwise really tasty and spicy. Garlic rice was superb.
