Absolutely incredible food! Seriously, this is about the fourth time we’ve ordered from here and it’s like it keeps getting better! Delivered quickly and red hot; tasty food, nice bit of a kick! Really cannot fault it! Would highly recommend!

Best food in Middlesbrough! Halal, fantastic quality and 5* hygiene. An array of dishes and you can make special requests if you’re having a craving for anything in particular. Quality meat and ingredients are clearly used and the chef is brilliantly talented in getting the balance of flavours just right. I would reccomend!!

Whilst visiting an old friend, he suggested that we visit Khan's, fairly recently revamped as a smaller takeaway / cafe-style restaurant. Needless to say, following that visit, we both unanimously decided that another visit was in order - the very next evening! Whilst Shakil and his excellent crew have revamped the menu in recent times, to include burgers, steaks and Parmas (a delicacy peculiar to Teeside...), the core remains solidly Punjabi-style classic indian dishes. And what dishes they are! Fresh, vibrant, delicious and generous. The Lamb Thom Dupiaza and Chicken Karahi in particular were spectacular. Freshly made, crispy and nicely charred naans, home made (and complementary) chutneys, a proprietor who will put your take out beer in his fridge until you need it (!) - I could go on... I won't. What I will say instead is that Mr Shakil Khan is one of the warmest and most generous hosts I have ever had the good fortune to have met and that you MUST pay him a visit some time. Trust me, you'll be back......!

I stopped on the way home for a curry at a restaurant with a diverse menu. The chicken achai gosht was great. I had it apna style with some chillies and green herbs. Very tasty with all the vegetables and the chicken bringing their own flavours and textures. Very good plain naan finished off a satisfying meal. Highly recommended, please try this restaurant or get a takeaway from it.

I've just had a great curry. A lamb balti cooked apna style (fresh herbs and chillies) with a plain nan. And was in a modern cafe so different from the old Khan's Village it is only the great food that reminds me of what was here before. It is consistent. Friendly unpretentious service and a wide menu. I have tried a number of the curries and the street food items like the parmos. All very good and they can make many things not on the menu. Please try it. Oh it's got BYO alcohol so great value.

we dined here using Groupon voucher , the place itself is really just a take away with 4 tables . however service and food was of the highest quality. they do not serve alcohol but you are welcome to take your own. I was directed to local CO-OP where I purchased a nice bottle of wine for a fiver. glasses were provided with no corking charge.the two girls serving us were very helpful and polite. Karen and Janine.

What can I say about this place... its somewhere you would expect to stumble across pissed up on a night out! Woman needs work on her customer service as the way she speaks to people is shocking. The chef is the only good thing about the place. The food is okay but I would reccomend going to a take away probably more taste and the garlic sauce tasted really weird! Restaurant if you can call it that consists on 4 tables in front of a kitchen again reminded me that fast food takeaway shop in town just with less seating area! Got garlic bread to start with and cheese extra 50p okay thats fine what they dont tell you until they're charging you at the end is that its 50p per slice! So for a standard 3 peice portion it's an extra 1.50 for a little bit of cheese on top. Would not recommend at all!

Having eaten at Khans in “the village” since the 1980s I was sorry to see the restaurant closed so it’s a relief to get the same great curries from the smaller take away restaurant on the same site. Enough tables for a few to eat in - can bring your own booze- and also add to menu choice with an Indian twist on the traditional Middlesbrough Parmo. Same excellent food from Shakil Ate in again tonight and highly recommend
