A beautiful cocktail bar with a very wide, innovative selection of drinks. The staff are very attentive and extremely knowledgeable.

Magic in a glass.. thats the only way to describe The Nuthatch cocktails. I don't know how they do it but when it comes to making cocktails these guys are the absolute best. The flavours, the making and infusing of their own vodka and gins for the cocktails. Thank you guys for another amazing experience. Keep doing what you are doing.

We had a few drinks here last night, my wife had a couple of cocktails. We were sat at the bar watching them been made, a lot of process in making some of them.

Best cocktails in the North East. Staff are lovely and the attention to detail and delivery of Michael's drinks are incredible!

What an absolutely stunning cocktail bar The Nuthatch is, I don't think you could find a place better than there in all of Teesside. From the welcoming and delightful staff, the cosy atmosphere and the delicious quirky and fun drinks you get served, anyone who is either visiting Middlesbrough for a short period of time or actually lives there needs to come and have one or a few over there.

The Nuthatch is an absolute shining beacon in Middlesbrough and the visit was a delight. We were running late, so let the staff know and we're welcomed anyway. The menu is fabulous with wonderful and imaginative cocktail options. We were celebrating so had 3 drinks each, over a couple of unhurried hours. Service was top notch, the place was spotless and the ambience just right. For the first round, we chose a classic Old Fashioned and a Martini with champagne foam atop a cheeky female form glass (I loved the glass, apologies I can't remember the name of the drink!). Both were beautifully balanced and delicious. Round two was a blueberry sour and a Salt Old Fashioned. Oh my, so good. I could smell the sea in the old fashioned and the sour was like a dessert. Round 3 was the popcorn old fashioned and a Jacu. The Jacu was like the naughtiest, most indulgent of milkshakes ever made and the popcorn old fashioned was out of this world. Next time I'm ordering that all night long! All in all, a perfect night out.

My wife and I had some cocktails at The Nuthatch last night for our 6th wedding anniversary. The atmosphere is amazing, and the cocktails not only taste amazing but the presentation of them is equally amazing. I would highly recommend this place but be sure to book as it can get busy.

So many places on Teesside claim to do "cocktails" when what they mean is they mix a few ingredients together in a glass and hope for the best. Not the Nuthatch though! This place is the real deal. Their cocktails are all crafted to an incredibly high standard and it puts to shame all the other places that purport to be cocktail bars. A real hidden gem in Middlesbrough that we're lucky to have.

Quirky little cocktail bar, that's a hidden gem. Great atmosphere. Staff are extremely friendly and chatty! Came here while i had family visiting from down south. Cocktails were amazing and the presentation was outstanding!

My wife and I went there Saturday night and as usual the drinks and service were A1 very friendly and helpful and polite and good atmosphere highly recommend this place .

Ordered online cocktail delivery from London to TS postcode after receiving a similar London based delivery. Be true to say that it was brilliant with an extra personal touch and also, a lot cheaper, both of which were was fantastic - ordered for a friend and now reordered for my (northern) mother upon rave reviews!

Have been here a few occasions in the before times and it's always been a great experience. Excellent cocktails, a nice cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. During Covid Christmas we got cocktails delivered home and again this was great, they were very nicely presented, came with plenty of garnishes and a nice set of instructions on how they should be served. Would recommend to all, best place in Boro for cocktails.

Called in on the 4th May with my partner and my mam and was greeted by a lovely girl . We found out her name was Charley and she had exceptional customer service skills. She made us feel very welcome. The drinks also were amazing. Will definitely be returning, because even though the drinks were amazing the customer service we received was outstanding and that’s the reason we will be returning. Even the lads were nice

The customer service was very poor. We booked a table in advance, however, it took over 40 minutes between arriving and getting our first drink. One of my friends had to leave early but they claimed they had already made her drink so said she had to pay for it (even though it then arrived 15 minutes after this conversation). The cocktails were nice but not worth the price (around £8.50 a cocktail) and it then took us over 20 minutes to pay for the bill (and this was after reminding them we wanted to pay). I would not go back; it lacked atmosphere (no music when we went in) and the majority of the staff were not wanting to help (apart from one girl who was lovely). I wouldn't recommend this place.

Wide selection of cocktails but expensive and overly complicated drinks. Also staff were quite rude when our time slot was up.
