Cibo tailandese da gustare tra i vari stand del Borough market… Pad thai buono e abbondante con gamberoni, anche la porzione di riso large con carne e verdure è stata apprezzata, molto abbondante. Costo per questi due piatti: circa 26€

Dotting about Borough Market looking for morsels to snack on we chanced upon Khanom Krok, watching them prepare the food was fascinating, and everything looked great. However, we had already gorged ourselves over at Mei Mei and The Ginger Pig, however, we did have room for a dessert or two, and those Coconut Pancakes looked the business. Placed our order and handed over a fiver, we were soon furnished with a small tray of 10 of those little disc like pancakes. Each pancake is small but packed with coconutty flavour, and they're ever so moreish with a jelly like texture to them. I was very tempted to go back for more, but we were stuffed from our day to the market, and the queue had grown exponentially. If you're in Borough Market and you're not wanting any of the ice creams, or frozen yoghurts, or cakes and sweet buns, then pop over to Khanom Krok for some of those pancakes.

Visited at the Borough Market on a Tuesday afternoon (market was very busy). Ordered the vegetable pad Thai, and it was decent - found ourselves wishing it had more flavor or seasoning of some sort. Portion was good for price. They only accept card or digital payment.

The market is very busy and we were pleasantly surprised to find this place since they are gluten and dairy free. The food is made fresh right in front of you and smells amazing! The perfect portion for lunch and a good price. We were all very happy!

We had the Pad Thai today having spent my last 10 years in Thailand and my wife is Thai this was so disapointing. Such a simple dish no excuse.

Pad Thai was poor quality, tasted very sweet with an unpleasant glutinous texture. The chicken was tough and reheated. Obviously I wouldn't recommend.

The best Pad Thai we’ve ever tasted. Fantastic value for money and flavour. Considering how many dishes they were making it came out very quickly and the aroma was fabulous. Also a great portion! We were full and had to keep eating! My only complaint was that in a vegetarian dish there should have been a little more tofu. Also people are very unclear about where to stand to buy the food and where to stand to collect. I saw several people waiting to order having no idea they weren’t in the queue. This meant they often walked away. Better signage and a more orderly queue would really help.

Great stall at the Borough Market. They have great Thai Coconut Pancakes, you need to try them. They're very reasonably priced.

Friendly Thai food stall with a tasty and expanded menu. It’s moved to a better more suited part of the market. More of a food hall atmosphere and more seating. Also very handy for the excellent Rake bar ...

Went there at Borough market and even tho the pad thai seemed a bit expensive we decided to order something. Had the coconut pancakes that were just outstanding. Paid like 5 pounds for 10 or 11, so creamy and soft. Recommend them

Wow this is a great little food market stall Khanom Krok. Was feeling full after trying to eat my way round Borough market, but had to stop here after the fantastic aromas that drifted across my nose. We just had to have some Pad thai, as I have had it when in Thailand. And I must say it was one of the best I have eaten.

My boyfriend and I came here for supper last week after buying a voucher from wowcher- £19 for a 5 course carribean meal. Like some of the other reviews I've read- we almost missed the entrance as it isn't well lit nor even looks open from the outside. The restaurant itself is huge and we were only in there with about 4 other people. The food was fresh and tasty- I really enjoyed the jerk chicken starter as well as the sunshine fish which I had as my main. It was slightly disappointing that one of the starters and one of the mains were sold out as it made the menu slightly more limited. I would say worth a visit but if you're looking for atmosphere then this isn't the place for you.

Went there for a special marriage anniversary that we’ve been looking forward to for months. The location and the hotel itself is amazing with stunning views. But the service was below average I would say if we are talking about the prices they are charging. We were disappointed by the service as we had so many little inconveniences but no one from that staff was attentive enough to spot it or to correct it when it appeared. We were walked to a table near the window that was so much darker than the table next to us which was decorated romantically and we thought that’s for us considering that we informed them about our anniversary. We were given the dark table but they acknowledged our anniversary then. Other small things that let us down: E.g we booked an a la carte menu, but were given 3-course set menu. We came with jackets and left them on our chairs, no one offered to put those in the clock room until we asked for. We were served bread and butter after a table that arrived 10min after us. We were given a second time bread and butter but a lady dressed in black cleared off the plates and then brought them back realising that we want more bread and only then the lady offered to put the napkins on our laps. When the starters arrived the light on our table was soo bad compared with the next table and we pulled up our phones and 🔦 to take a picture of the food - again, no one spotted our little inconvenience. After that we asked to change the table as we’d like to see what we’re eating. After we finished our mains which took more than 1.5h to arrive since we stepped in the restaurant. After finishing the mains which were very delicious our table was cleared, but I had to ask Efean to come and clean it again as there were still some leftovers on the table. When setting the table, the lady provided us with spoons and one of them remained on the table until the desert came - no one updated the table cutlery correctly and finally gave it back to Efean when the desert arrived. For a £200 dinner we didn’t feel valued much and we are not super fancy eaters or to complain about as we’ve tried thousands of restaurants all over the world. Upon our departure Eafon listened to our comments and apologies on the name of team and we left a tip only for him as the others shouldn’t be in a 5*/1 Michelin Star Restaurant. Recommendation: please hire more staff and think about the furniture that you buy as they make or break a customer’s experience- I was with my knees in my neck the entire meal as their tables and seats are tooo small/low.
