Had another fantastic night out with friends at Khan's. Staff are always very welcoming and look after you. Food is good too. Definitely recommend a visit

1st time eating at Khan tonight. Food service was great. Best Indian I've had in a long time

I usually really like their food here but I went in to eat for my brother birthday and ordered a vegetable Samos ( I am vegetarian) and they had given me a meat Samos… I had taken one bite and realised it was meat and felt ill after. This annoyed me but what really annoyed me was that no one had apologised, no sincerity.

This is by far the best Indian restaurant in Shoeburyness with excellent customer service from Roger and the team

Very nice Indian restaurant. Good service and the food was lovely. It was very busy, so we were lucky to get a table. May be worth booking if this is the norm.

We had a takeaway from Khan- this was our second time ( we were impressed last time with the cost of the meal and service). This time round it was okay.. the lamb was quite chewy and our order was late and the food was cold! Not sure if we would like to go back…

Juno and Roger are great owners. Food and service is great.

Best curry’s in the area Rodger is the most accommodating host and the food is five star would highly recommend

The staff are very friendly and nice. There is a wide selection of food,drink and desserts. The food is fresh and nice to eat. The restaurant is cosy and has nice chairs and seats to sit on. Very good place for an evening meal out! Highley recommended

Not been here for a little while and oh have I missed out The quality is still outstanding and of amazing value Hard to find any fault with any part of the meal. Waiting staff were attentive and prompt with service. Well worth the trip out I will be back soon Mr Roger!!

Roger is a fantastic host, fresh,delicious, food

Last night was our fist time dining here but the service was excellent, food was absolutely delicious & myself & my wife will be definitely be eating here again. Staff were very friendly & ended our experience with a couple of complimentary drinks. The price is very reasonable, a great evening had by all of us. Thank you Khan Tandoori for a lovely end to an awesome day spent visiting our friends.

We dined in the restaurant and it took over an hour to arrive would normally come here and would be great service but I’m quite disappointed!

I'm puzzled at the conflicting reviews given to Khans in Shoeburyness. I live in North Essex now but when I lived in Shoeburyness I was a regular customer. I couldn't fault the service or the food and was never disappointed. Admittedly I usually went for a take away and didn't use the restaurant much but the food was always great and the staff always friendly.

My wife and I are regular customers. The food is always excellent and the prices are reasonable and the owner is always friendly. Highly recommended

Had a lovely meal at this restaurant last night for the 1st time in many years it was like we had never been away, food was to its usual high standard and we were made to feel very welcome. Will certainly be going back

Good meal from Roger and his team again. Asked a local about another place and their response was just go to Khans and they were right. HB tried the Kashmir curry and loved it, I had the tikka biriani, which was great as usual.

100 stars, great service, amazing food, lovely atmosphere, all staff very attentive, but not pushing to order or hurry up, Rodger the owner is so lovely speaks to all customers and makes everyone very welcome, we went valentines night and all the ladies received a rose plus complimentary drinks

Went to the Khan with my wife on a quiet Saturday evening with only 3 or 4 other diners present. Chose a seat by the window and sat down to order. The bald headed waiter came over and said "You cannot sit there" offering no explanation or please or thank you. Very rude and officious. We were charged £44 for two very small servings of curry including £4 for two poppadoms. Complete rip off and an unpleasant dining experience.

Son in law booked a table for 5 nearly 2 weeks in advance turned up on the night no table although it was confirmed by staff and owner. They gave us a table for 2 max .far too small you can leave if you want sorry. I travelled from Norfolk as I have been to the restaurant many times the staff were extremely rude on this night not worth it any more not recommended

The best curry shop in shoebury, my vindaloo was almost as hot as Juno

My son in law booked the table for 5 people sit down at 6pm 10 days before the 27th Nov, this was confirmed by the manager and staff. I travel from Norwich with my wife as it was my birthday. Only to be greeted when we turned up, by sorry we forgot to mark it in the book , then they walked away. We contacted the manager they admitted it was their fault. But we were offered a table that sits two people total "crap" we then walked out disgusted with way we were treated by the manager and staff Sorry to say that's the last time we will be going to the Kharn restaurant , totally disappointing . But I would recommend The Polash West road

Absolutely disgraceful! Booked a table for a birthday meal 3 weeks in advance turned up no booking rude waiters who said we didn’t have a booking Manager was aware of bookings but then said couldn’t accommodate us! Tried to sit us on a small table with no room or told us we could leave! Will never go back there have lost customers that have been very loyal for years! Absolutely disgusting service ruined a family evening

Not the best to be honest. Small king Prawn starter and not very well presented as pic shows. Chicken tikka masala was far too sweet but still a nice little place to go and really nice staff.

Just moved to the area and after visiting here we will return regularly!Food was delicious well presented and timely. The staff were extremely welcoming, attentive and friendly. Price was great too! Highly reccomend.

Not been here for a while Great to see the food was still as good as ever. The main was chicken saag, with extra chilli and garlic. This is still the best place to have this dish as I know its a favorite of the boss. Total value for money! All of the other dishes were well cooked and presented. As always... highly recommend.

Visit for my sons birthday celebrations with family. The food was excellent. I had a set meal. It was served hot and with lots of smiles and laughter. The best Indian meal I've had in a long time. The peshawar naan was the best ever. I highly recommend this lovely friendly and comfortable restaurant. They could not have done more to make this an evening to remember. Thank you all.

How can any right minded person give this place a 5-Star rating? At best it might just scrape a 2! Terrible atmosphere and decor. Really poor quality crockery and cutlery. People in restaurant in shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops for an evening meal! The food, served by a couple of scruffy waiters with poor communication skills, was just about passable. We will not be dining there again.

Khan's always good nice people and great food

First time for a takeaway here. My wife had the meat Dansak and I had a vindaloo. This was the best curry we have had for a long while. Also the keema nanny was excellent. Can't wait for my next visit.

Recent takeaway was delicious. Really tasty curries, the best we have had since moving to the area 10 years ago. Why oh why didn't we try this place before. Highly recommended.

Great food well above your normal Indian restaurant, very competitive prices on food and alcohol with attentive and friendly staff. Immediately booked another table for two weeks time and can hardly wait. On the evening we were there every table was taken - a recommendation...

If its an upmarket Indian restaurant you're after then this won't be for you. Its a little rough and ready, but if its the best Indian food you will taste at any restaurant in the area then this is the place for you. The food is outstanding in my opinion and at such a reasonable price. Well worth a visit.

I phoned through an order and asked for delivery for 8pm. Bang on 8pm the curries turned up piping hot, and the food was extremely tasty and cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend a takeaway.

Had to have a takeaway tonight thanks to COVID got home and as expected it was first class. This one like others restaurants have suffered greatly this year if you want a curry in Shoeburyness this is the place.

Extensive menu and delicious food. Very affordable. The owner is an absolute star and really friendly. They offer delivery service but if you prefer picking up social distancing is respected, as well as contact-less payment. Decidedly my favourite in the area.

Glad the Khan has reopened for delivery/take away orders. Food tasty as always and still at their very reasonable prices.

Came back to The Khan last Friday 8th Nov 19 to see if it had changed from our last visit in 2018. I must say that although the food was quite nice it isn't a patch on other Indian Restaurants in Shoeburyness. I had Chicken...

The food is beautifully prepared and spiced to perfection. Decent portion sizes I would recommend this establishment.

Fantastic food as always, good size portions with lots of meat. The only reason for not giving 5star is main restaurant could do with modernisation. But great food and service.

The Khan is a great low price Indian. The food is good and the staff are helpful. It is sometimes a little inconsistent so worth going a few times because when it’s good, it’s really good!

We have used the khan on a regular basis without any mishaps until last night! We ordered our food at 7.30pm and were told 45 minutes. We gave them the benefit of the doubt as in the background we could hear the restaurant was busy...

Small portions hence cheap prices, very slow service had to wait 45 minutes for starters and another 40 minutes for mains. Needs a face lift and staff that know what there doing. Will not be returning
