Food great as usual - friendly helpful staff

Was not HAPPY with my order, I ordered a bucket meal with 6 peice chicken, the girl on intercom wasnt very good at speaking English, when we got home it was not what I had ordered, it was a few mini fillets, 4 lots chips, 1 gravy 1 coleslaw, large bottle coke and was charged nearly 20 pound just for that, so as you can see I'm not HAPPY AT ALL, and the food was not very nice either, so wont be going there again, it was the drive through just off pen road

KFC is not usually my favourite, but I enjoyed this visit. Fast service

Very rushed Staff have not got very good customer service Had an issue with my daughter being ill while there and the lady told us to remove ourself from the facility as she did not want us there with an ill child, my daughter was only 3 at the time and teething

I've been coming here for years since I was a kid and it has just gone down hill. Poor service, the manager does not want to see you personally when you have a complaint about being charged the wrong amount. A shame. I'll stick to Dixy chicken.

A good clean KFC with food that was quickly served, looked good, hot, and tasted great. Plenty of seating and nice, clean, well decorated and nicely lit inside. Not much atmosphere as there were only a few people, but you wouldn't really expect a buzzing vibe anyhow.

Worst KFC around. Iv never know a fast food place as bad as this who ever runs needs to be gone. The food is always cold the chips are absolutely no good .. sort it out !!!

I ordered rice box and mash potatoes and they give me leftover stale food chicken pieces and cold fries this happen 2nd times shame all staff packing staff

I went to the Penn Road k.f.c and the food was absolutely disgusting.The chicken was drenching in oil and I couldn't eat it.Never again.

Lady at drive thru kept saying she couldn’t hear us and told us to drive up to the window, once we were at the window she refused to open it and we had to go in the store to place our order. Inside the experience was about average (restaurant could’ve been cleaner).

Guy called Ravi works in the kitchen absolutely slow as a tortoise, also texts on his phone while at work so unprofessional. Went to order and he looked at me and stuck his finger up, disgusted. I agree with Indy. These guys so stupid never put ketchup in after paying for it , shocking Absolute bullocks Terrible KFC lied to me that my sauce was in the bag, checked not there. Put empty bag in with no sauce no shame. Hi ordered plain ice cream with bits specially stated no areo but gave me areo after repeating no 3 times, poor staff listening skills need to improve

It's a shame you're forced to use the screens and arw not able to order at the til. Not everyone is ok with technology and who really wants to be touching screens that everyone's been touching it 😐 Smallest bag of fries ever!

I must have been the last drive through and they ran out of part of my order but my boy SAAD did not HESITATE to BLESS my order with extras #customerservice #blessed

Charge you for box meals but really its a "bag meal" as never get a box. Customer service could do with some improvement. Maybe a smile or similar, they just seem very robotic

Always choose this particular KFC staff are always so amazing, good availability and yummy tasty hot food. Tonight I accidentally ordered my partner the wrong meal and didn't realised til we got to the last window the lovely young lad swapped it for me. I can't tell u how much that meant, thankyou for going above and beyond we will most definitely be recommending and returning in the future. Thankyou once again. 😁 X

I’ve ordered via Uber Eats at this KFC three times, and each time the delivery is increasingly inaccurate. This time, I ordered a colonels bucket and a fillet burger. I received some cookies and a wrap. When I drove to return this to KFC, I was told, “it’s fine, we’ll replace it”. NO! It isn’t fine, it’s a waste of food, time, money and energy. Do NOT bother with this poor excuse for a food outlet. #KentucyFriedCringe #FingerLickinCrud

The worker Phil took my chicken burger out my grandads hand then throw it on the floor because I complained about how long the food took and how cold it was then he came over and said I don't care now eat.

I have just been on my way home from work. What a mistake I had three pieces of chicken that were slimy and lukewarm, and in my opinion undercooked. I got my partner a fillet tower burger meal. The bottom of the bun was rockhard and again it was lukewarm. I wished I'd have read the ratings and reviews first. Oh well we live and learn.

I like KFC, no unruly kids running amok, (generally) unlike McDonalds

KFC seems to be coming a rip of. With the average price of £9 for a meal. It wouldn't be so bad if the meals were of good quality and size. Unfortunately are meal from this store was awful. Not to mention, the mens toilets had more wee on the floors than in the actual toilets. Parking is a nightmare. Parked up to walk in, and I had to walk through the drive-through to get to the front of the store.. ( not safe at all )

I just ordered a 6 pc family feast. With beans and coleslaw and 1.5ltr bottle of pepsi. Delivered hot wings and a can of pepsi. I'm allergic to spices. I've tried to get a refund of my 23.97. However no response. I've tried phoning with no answer. I'm absolutely disgusted.

the staff here are not capable of getting a simple order correct, cold manky fries, missing chicken and wrong drink are a regular occurrence. probably the worst branch I have ever been to

Did the drive through while it was quite busy. Either they don't listen or chuck anything jn the bags but our order was all over the shop missing items. It's tricky checking what's thrust through the window in a dark car. As a treat, it was a big disappointment.

Absolutely hopeless, worst KFC in the Midlands

This is the third and final time i will ever use this kfc franchise again. Once again food items were missing. My fault for not checking thinking the staff competent at their jobs. I mean how hard is it to pack a bag with an order looking off a screen right in-front of you??? The drinks are ridiculously packed with ice, i can only guess to minimise costs. I would thoroughly discourage anyone to get food from this particular “restaurant”.

I lov the food there and we go there monthly or every 2 weeks. They have great service and amazing food and the fries are 𝓹𝓱𝓮𝓷𝓸𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓪𝓵 imo, this is a 5/5 i lov fried chicken 🍳🐔

Had a takeaway from here for the family, food was as expected for KFC, nothing outstanding. Took a while to be served at the till as all staff seemed busy, have to use the till as can't really customise my order or get the best deals using the tablets to order and with a big family those deals can make or break it for me. Same with a lot of the Fast Food restaurants nowadays, delivery orders seem to take presidence over in store customers... But that's a gripe I have with a lot of takeaways.

Placed an order through just eat at 17.40 I waited for 1 hour I rang kfc who said to cancel order, no phone call or anything they have my number told me they have order so I cancelled it, don't rely on these lot to help you, take your custom elsewhere, don't use just eat they don't help customers either avoid avoid avoid

Ordered food on their app, was meant to have 8 fillet bucket for free and they have only sent out the food that I've paid for. Ive only decided to order due to the offer that they have not delivered. APP doesn't let you to say whether you had something missing or not ... And ofcourse the food had been delivered cold. Avoid this place if possible! Terrible service!!

Its hit and miss with service here...using the drivethrough always check your order before leaving as 9/10, the order is wrong, always something missing. Plus they mix up your orders, why dont they prepare each meal as you ask for it, instead you get all chips in one bag, or items just individually put in the bag, yet you order it as a meal? Yet when Ive ordered online for delivery, ir gone into the shop, the order has been spot on each time.

Fries ruined by seasoning that tastes like cheap chicken crisps. Tasteless options. No proper chicken. Lots of sugar sachets given and not needed but no straw for drink or serviettes.

Food is not up to standard (since new owners took over) Disable parking is non-existent, even with bays as members of staff and management, parking it as well as Delivery drivers. So I’m not disabled friendly at all. Disappointed

Chips tasted rubbery the popcorn chick was dry the fillet burger had no lettuce just the white core bits, ordered from the counter, so I went back and told them the issue, I was then handed the same popcorn but had been reheated and the chips had also been reheated as they still tasted like cardboard but 10 times worse.This KFC was always top quality food and don't t know what wrong with this place now, but have decided I won't be returning again.

New review. Had meal on drive through. Ate down the road. Chips were Asif they had been warmed up from the day before. They were disgusting. Didn't eat them. Went back today and there's no complaints book told me to do online. I had a quick look I can't find anything apart from an American general page. . They offered more chips and I said I don't want chips again. I had 2 pieces of chicken and 2 hot wings (wings for free) but I don't think this is sufficient to say I had to go back today to complain. Don't think very good customer service. Not very happy

This has been renovated . Really nice inside, more welcoming than before. I tried the special, teriyaki burger with pickle, it was utterly delicious!

i work minimum wage as a care assistant and my girlfriend works as a carer, student midwife, and mum of three kids. we put some money aside to buy a kfc or takeaway when we saw eachother again, after a long week away from eachother and both not eating all day we decided to order from uber eats, we spent £25 on our kfc to find that my chicken burger was replaced with fries and my girlfriends chicken wrap was replaced with fries... so instead of two meals we had 4 bags of small fries. not only that but the sweet and sour chicken bites were open and upside down so they went all over the bag and onto other food, ruining other food that we had. all i got was a £3 refund. i will never be ordering from this place again.

I got off on the wrong foot with Matt who was serving me. I had a large order and was annoyed that the App was dysfunctional!! However, I'm glad it was because there is nothing like personal service. Matt, spent time working out the best deal for me (I was feeding 14ppl)!!! he also applied a very generous discount whilst we enjoyed a laugh and joke. The order was ready as soon as I paid. I really appreciated Matts customer service and the way that he so professionally dealt with my, (out of character for me, btw) initial not so polite approach. I returned a couple weeks later for much of the same and was delighted to once again receive a five star service from Matt. Thanks Matt, I appreciate you!

This is a prime example of why you should read the reviews. The standard of the meal was poor. Firstly, I had to return the fries as they were disgusting and cold. The burger was lukewarm, the lettuce was only the bitter centre stalks and no leaf. In addition, there were tables that hadn't been cleaned but the staff weren't busy. Overall poor.

I do not write reviews - however, I had to say THANK YOU to HAMZA for his kind assistance, with my order. He works at KFC Penn Road. I had to call him twice before for a recommendation which also worked out very well and which as a mother I very much appreciate because my family were more that satisfied. The KFC App has at times 'forced' me to select the Bushbury branch which I politely decline until I am able to choose Penn Road. I have relocated all over Wolverhampton but always drove to Penn Road to get KFC fix - many, many years before being able to order online. I appreciate this Penn Road KFC branch because they go above and beyond basic service, so even in these dire times, I do not mind parting with my hard earned cash. Food cooked fresh, especially when eating in, service not the fastest but nice and friendly.

Well one star is the lowest I can offer here and if I’m being honest that’s one to many, the restaurant is appalling in side tables left uncleaned food on the floor, when I asked for a table to be cleaned I was ignored I had to ask another 2 times before it was done, to be fair the lad who cleaned it was very apologetic and polite, the food it self took a long time to come out and was clearly just thrown together, was like a flat pack in a box I had to rebuild my burger before I could eat it, really wasn’t great service will not be eating there again.

Rubbish, utter rubbish!!!!! I arrived and was ignored. I could see everyone was busy, even though the restaurant wasn’t, so I waited. I was never acknowledged and told, we will be with you in a moment. When the lady finally arrived she served the person who was after me!!!!!!!!!!!! How rude!!!!!!! I couldn’t believe it. Bought twist wrap and chicken on a Sunday evening. What a mistake, tasteless wrap- I have never tasted anything like this. And the chicken- not KFC standard. The fries soaked with oil.

Ordered a Zinger tower box meal with corn cob and fries with 1 piece of original chicken. I received 1 wing, no burger and beans. Restaurant is now closed and they don't want to know. Shocking service. Won't be back

The burgers are so normal nothing kfc, you can make better at home but chicken wings and fries were good as usual.

Update: Thought to go after the revamp, just as bad as ever. This time the only side they had was gravy. No corn, beans, mash or salad. The latest drive-through layout is a joke no clear signs. Chicken was an absolute grease fest, sloppy soggy fries. I try not to be harsh but this is one of the few places I feel is a shambles of a fast food joint. Prev: The new layout of the drive through is not working. Service again really slow. Not sure what is up with this place but there does seem to be a lack of motivation with staff. We were missing several items good job i checked before leaving. The store really needs a good looking at as they're too many mistakes being made.

Clean but not the way you would expect it

Lately visiting kfc the food is never up to scratch,last time I will be buying kentucky,gone right off it completely,always buy from Penn Rd,not no more,no care is taken into the food,chicken was pink inside, looked cooked from outside,kids had macdonalds,it's sad really cause I would love to leave a good comment,last time I phoned up,to complain we were offered free box of kfc, I did not accept, cause its not about free food,its about cooking the food right,making sure the orders are right,I remember back in the days when KFC was finger lickin good.

Worst KFC we had. The chicken in Zinger box was terrible, foul smell. Drink was flat. Daughter's popcorn chicken was same taste. Not sure if they need to change oil more often. Never again
