KFC Watford - St Albans Road in Watford

Will return at some point, probably the most local KFC to me. I just love Popcorn Chicken too much haha

Order home very bad consumer services not recommended

Was a bit disappointed at the presentation of my favourite chicken deal. It wasn't that delicious chicken. It was too salty. That was my honest experience. I'd rather more spices or plain than salt.

Here the stuff dose take your order and they ignore you, I wait for 15 minutes to take my order and Ambica like this I see her name one her bag so rude and ignor customer . This kfc need different stuff I will definitely no come back one this shop again

23/06/24…. Absolutely dreadful…. The last three times we have ordered they have forgotten something off our order. From the chips, to popcorn chicken to the actually fried chicken. It’s ridiculous!!! You try to call and no one ever picks up!!! This time they forgot a whole meal!!! How hard can it be to get an order right? …

Only one person cooks for 20 customers in the kitchen, the food is over-spiced, if you can call it that, because there is only pepper on the food and the service was not exactly the nicest.

Disappointed. Had a stomachache last whole night after taking the dinner from this branch. And last 2-3 times before this was similar experience. Every time I feel bad after eating something from KFC. You never know how they work and what they put in your meal and often I’ve seen them preparing food without using gloves. Avoid at all cost!

This KFC went downhill fast , ordered 6 piece bucket but only got 5 pieces, chips were luke warm and chicken was cold . Dont think I'll be going back , below average food .

The service was not acceptable. I was served by DILNA, I requested chicken perferably a thigh piece and i was told i couldnt have it as they only had 2 left and most customers are requesting th same piece. I then had to change my order completly. Another customer made his order after me, he requested a side breast which again he was told the same thing. The customer then left withoit ordering anything. Not good customer service!

Service was much better than last time. Normally, they prioritise the delivery drivers so much that actual customers have long waits. Keep it up.

One of the worst KFC, never seen the tables clean to eat in. Also the chicken is not great as other branches. Service is also worst, for example they don’t provide you a drink in can for takeaway. Saying it is only for Uber and just eat, even you put pickup in Uber they don’t give u a can and the employees are so rude

Absolutely rubbish wrong order every time

Ordered on Uber eats and forgot half the order, didn’t answer the phone and didn’t resolve anything.

Ice cream soft serve on the menu for over 6 months but conveniently the machine is never in service. Clearly untrained lazy staff members which are poorly managed. Closing times seem to vary to what’s on the store window. Food goes out slow, quality of food for price now doesn’t match, lower in quality and higher in price If your not gonna bother cleaning the ice cream machine every night Atleast take it off your menu guys There’s a certain level of service expected from places like this and shamefully that simply is miles away from where it should be.

Went into kfc on St Albans road Watford and the manager was moaning at the staff. The lady who always has a smile working under pressure taking orders serving food and also being a cleaner cleaning the dining area. Still with a smile on her face Well done ahika you done a good job and when I wanted to praise her to the manager he was busy and couldn’t take the time to see what I had to say. He sent other members of staff to ask me what I wanted but that is none of their business. I think the manger is totally rude but the lady that I mentioned above well done to you keep up the hard work.

Very bad experience there after my food come oily cold and disgusting test

Couldn’t organise a party in a brewery. Visited when not busy. Ordered via machine. Asked the lady behind the counter to ensure fresh fries. She locked blankly at me so I repeated the request. She replied in very broken English that fries are fresh. As we were waiting for our order she proceeded to put bags that were already sitting filled into the order. When I asked her to actually use fresh fries she rolled her eyes!!! Upon getting my food home she had also put the wrong sized sides in the bag forcing me to return. When I asked the same lady for the correct sides, she simply didn’t understand. Complete shambles. Shudder to think what they’d be like when there is loads of people!

Absolutely awful. Was supposed to be a fillet burger. Dried up 1/2 cm thick dried up chicken two flakes of lettuce and a teaspoon of mayonnaise. What's happened to this place does no one care anymore?

Food was between okay and good but not as good as other KFCs in the area. The service was fast and efficient BUT they do not give canned drinks with takeaway. They only give the paper cups with flimsy lids and a joke of a stand to hold it with. I had a 15 minute walk home where I had to try and balance the cups so they wouldn't leak all over my hand. I know that the employees are not at fault here, of course, but KFC you need to change your policy for takeaway drinks. We should not have to learn precision balance just to walk home with our drinks.

Unfortunately no boneless banquet when I got home...paid for it but not in the bag! 15 minute walk home so couldn't be bothered to go back. Pity as everything else was great!

They don’t stick to the recipe for mini fillet burger. They always put the wrong sauce, they put what tastes and looks like salad cream, when it should be that light creamy white seasoned sauce. Makes the burger taste completely different and it ruins it when not done right. Every other branch does it right.

Awful awful 3 rd world customer service staff beyond rude no manors

Shop was empty very slow had to wait more than 5 mins. Staff didn't really acknowledge me had to ask what the waiting time was. I prefer the one on the retail park

The food was good but while part of it was being cooked the rest was packed, the condensation caused by the hot food weakened the bag, as I crossed the road the wrap fell on the floor and got run over, don't pack the food until it's all ready

Efficient service good hot food and impressive service with a smile that went miles

They refuse to serve people ice cream, supposedly because their machine isn't working, even though I have been here a few times and, coincidentally, the ice cream machine is never working. An article recently came out also revealing that the ice cream machines at KFC actually are working, but they are too lazy to maintain it. Needless to say, I will not be coming here again. I refuse to pay money to a business that lies to their customers and denies them basic customer service.

Duty manager have not sense to how to behave with other people and customer and delivery person and all he was arguing with all the person when I was over there

Actually had a lovely boxed meal served by friendly staff. Nice clean and efficient for a KFC albeit the small size means take away only.

Worst KFC and extortionate costs. Ordered via deliveroo and it went through in no time at all. Took over 30 minutes to prepare and cost £40 for 2 people. When it arrived, the chips were on the bottom of the bag, not the boxes they were meant to be in. 4 hot wings were actually 2 hot wings and those 2 wings looked and tasted like they ha e been cooked 12 hours earlier. 4 boneless chicken pieces turned up as 3 and a half pieces and 1 of those pieces was the size of an adults small finger. 2 bone in pieces were dry and the skin hanging off. 1 can never arrived. All in all, a pathetic excuse of a KFC and now I remember why I hadn't ordered from there previously.

I’ve had KFC all over the world and this is still the best. Perfect chicken, gravy and shakes. They were the best 7 years ago when I lived in Watford. I’m in town for the evening and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Ignore the bad comments - people are very fussy in Watford.

We never got served my partner and I walked in and saw one of the workers touching salads, burgers, all the food with her bare hands got put off by the lack of hygene and left

Clean, modern KFC small in size. No complaints from service or interior.

The chicken I got is cooked in old oil.please don't use the oil repeatedly as it will take increase chances of having cancer .it didn't taste anyway near the original kfc chicken.i vomited after eating it.

The guy serving the don't know how atend the people the don't speak clearly and have some comprension problems! But food olways is very nice!

Out of the KFC outlets I frequent, this is one of the better venues. Staff are helpful and try and accommodate as best they can your order request. They even offer advice on the best deals to save you money. Parking is the only issue.

Served really quickly here especially as it was a Friday night and we didn't need to wait to long for our food to come out too. The chicken was great.

One of the closest KFC, though its always fast in serving and decent sized restaurant for dine in. Though it ticks every check boxes for a fast food, i don't find food to be finger licking tasty.

Gone to get some late dinner this night (27/02) and all I git was a burger with shrinked bun and the portion of chips which was half of what you would normally get at other burger shops.. They charge some £6 for a meak and it's not worth it at all.. If they can't provide standard the brand bears, then they should close early. Really bad 😞 Never go there again.

Great place just out side the Atria watford mall. Reasonable seating and wash room facilities. Helpful staff. Good place for a family outing in the weekend.

KFC meant to be open until midnight I get to kfc on st albans road and at 11:48pm and it was closed because the staff couldn't be asked to make food !! What's the point in closing times if you close before !!

Well, just received my delivery, ordered a box meal. There is no orange fruit shoot, I ordered coleslaw but been given baked beans. Tried to ring them but no one answers. I would say this is my last time to order from them. Terrible terrible service

We waited an hour and 15 minutes for our food to be delivered my wife drove to the store only to be told the driver had gone off and stolen our food 🤔 Apparently this happens on a regular basis we rang the store 5 times no one answered and yet when she arrived there were no other customers they don’t even answer the phone . The manager should be pulled up and head office needs to sort out the problem . Absolutely ruined our evening considering 6 meals were ordered

Terrible food and service. The restaurant is filthy, trays are greasy, staff are rude. When was the last audit? Close it down.

The nastiest dry chicken I have had from a KFC. Such a shame years back this place was a great go to.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. For your own sanity. Several orders, most of them deliver late, half with the wrong items, and the latest didn’t deliver at all. The staff don’t answer the phone. Honestly, why they are allowed to continue with this shoddy approach to service is beyond me, get a grip.

Awful food, chicken was uncooked, the burger was dry and incredibly thin. I have had several bad food experiences with the store and I will not be ordering from their anymore.

Very hiy and miss on service. Sometimes it can be great but most times staff just don't care. Did table service one day and had to go and collect food from counter. No napkins, no straw didn't ask if wanted any sauces.

Not a great place! Don't wear gloves to prepare food, very slow and the women serving on the till struggled to understand what I was trying to order. Food was cold and had to wait 20 minutes even though there was only 2 customers in the restaurant.

Food arrived hot and on time, disappointed that the extra chicken portion was a small chicken wing and all bone - paid £1.99. No napkins, salt, pepper or hand wipes again - do these exist still ? The mighty box meal for one - came in bags which added to the disappointment. We made sandwiches afterwards as still hungry.

I don't know why I bother. Every time I visit the North Watford, rickmansworth or watford retail park ones I get stuff missing from the bag. So annoying. Must of wasted so much money on stuff I haven't been given. 😭

Ordered twice recently on Uber Eats and the food arrived within 15 minutes on both occasions and tasted great! Food was still hot and I really couldn’t fault it. I always go for the boneless chicken though but that might just be my preference! Highly recommend!!

Fairly slow service, but most importantly, evey time I ate from this branch the chicken was really dry, clearly left under the heat lamp for a very long time. Won't be coming back.
