Hayris Kebab House in Watford

Food was fine .. one of the few occasions recently when the delivery driver arrived in a reasonable time and I received what I’d ordered .

I’m sure the food was fine , I Oder from here regularly . The delivery driver mixed up my order and it was from a totally different restaurant. I received a refund . I ordered again the night after . I’ll leave another review

I was notified the food was on its was but the delivery driver took a detour around Watford , hung around the town centre for a while and must’ve noticed my food . I refused to accept it as it was 45 minutes late and cold . 2 days in a row has been a disaster so I’ll remove the app .

i never got the delivery but it shows delivered i have waited for more than 1 hour

really I felt very bad after receiving food bcoz I order 36 wings in that I found that I found 5 expired chicken. which smells very bad hard to eat.

Not much lamb shish in this mix but very tasty.

Arrived cold and late and was sweaty was not enjoyable at all normally the food is perfect however not lately

Food was cold ordered a jumbo sausage I got two small ones full off oil not even edible kabab was hard bread was burnt will never order from here again.

I'm not usually a fan of burger/kebab joints, but I wanted to let you know about the Chicken Sandwich meal they have here. It consists of a single large chicken fillet fried in a light Indian batter and served with a generous portion of salads, chips, and a drink of your choice. Trust me, it's absolutely delicious! In fact, half of my team is now excited to eat there. Plus, it's quite affordable with plenty of change left from £10, which in late 2023 is quite something. I've been here multiple times and the owner is always polite and attentive. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Shocking I left a note for the driver and obviously can not read when it clearly says do not knock on my door I have 3 children sleeping and bang bang bang not even a little knock maybe some training needs to be given an English test! Let alone the food when the driver stops off at another restaurant to pick up for another person my food is cold not good enough shocking

The driver didn't give a drink. Spoke to restaurant who said it was the just eat driver so they can't do anything

The delivery driver was veey unprofessional. they 2 of them arrived. one of them was screaming from.my residence

had this last night, ordered 2 large kebabs that were tiny, smaller than any small kebab i've ordered elsewhere (and i eat a lot of kebabs) 5-6 thin slices of donner meat per kebab here and a few strands of lettuce. i asked for the first one all salad and burger sauce, second one all salad and garlic mayo + chilli sauce, they served both with just lettuce and chilli sauce, which i found hard to eat as i dont do spicy food, and they wouldn't change it. they said they had only lettuce as well, a bit odd but yeah. ordered a large chips to share as well, but they were tiny, more like a small portion, asked for burger sauce for them but they wouldn't give any. seating, they have booths but it was rammed with about 20 kebab boxes as they didn't clear the tables. food was ok, but very little food for the price.

I should have read the reviews before ordering that's all I'll say.

Only place open. Over the top prices.no pitta for medium lamb doner and chips over £8 , only two salad items and no option to add the other usual salad ingredients was ridiculous, a bare minimum handful of fries is a complete joke and extortionate attempt to take advantage. I would not reccommend that to a starving foe.

I eat burger meal and chicken pieces. The taste of food was too good and delicious.

STAY CLEAR!!!! ❗️I went down and ordered food was rotten terrible the chips and sprouts on them and the meat was very dry the workers were extremely rude and coughing and hygiene was terrible they charged someone 9 pound for 5 pieces of chicken it’s awful stay clear!!!

Asked for two battered sausages and chips, got two portions of (non battered) sausage + chips. This wasn't malicious, they just don't really speak adequate English. On the plus side, a hot girl with nipple piercings wasn't wearing a bra.

Just missing a can of Pepsi got the Pepsi with the burger meal but ordered a separate can and didn't get it

Waited for ages to be served, 2 members of staff can't be helped. However both were more focused on the just eat app and kept customers I'm the shop waiting. When we did get eventually get served, the large chips were small and soggy. But saying that the large mixed kebab was out of this world. Focus on the people in your shop guys. We all noticed

I'm from East London and i love spicy wings, been trying to find a good place in Hertfordshire for the best spicy wings, think i just found it wow perfect, meat falls right off the bone and the wings were indeed spicy! Perfection!

I reallly like this place, the staff always relaxed, kind and nice, food quality is delicious and ready on the time, and big plus is that they opened until late night

This order had stale chicken which was indelible. The legs had some pink, the breasts could not be eaten. The sauce was strange. And I was disappointed I had to throw the chicken away. The chips were from frozen and were steamy and the scampi were few. It was like steamed sludge. Having ordered kebabs before, this was not expected. I went to the shop lunchtime to raise this. And it was closed. Refund please.

Restaurant Didn’t read my note. “Salad”in kebab was terrible. Only allowed to pick 2 items. I ended up with the inedible cabbage centre chopped up with onion. The donner meat was slimy and looked under cooked.

Definitely not was expected, lamb was tough, delivery was good though.

I wanted a late night kebab without moving. They made it happen. Tragedy that it's so hard to get takeaway after the pub in this area. But this place suits most nights. Kudos.

I must say that the chicken was fine , but the meat and chips was the poorest I’ve tasted. I ticked garlic for sauce and it came like the meat was in soup and not very much, they filled the box out with cold skinny chips instead. I have ordered here before and it was ok, but will think twice before I go again , if ever .

I first ordered from Hayris on 14/04/2022 the the meat was fantastic and the pitta bread they failed to bring my drink so he went back came back with the drink and I thought not bad how wrong was I ordering the second time THE KEBAB MEAT WAS OFF I OPENED ONE OF MY KEBABS and the smell was revolting I threw up twice after that I opened the othe one I ordered a meduim and large like last ime and the smell was the same both of the kebabs I put in the bin my money wasted on bad food I am going to make an compliant to Just eat and the trading food strandad , services I read reviews and took a risk and I wished I did not knowing what bad foodi it was which I got tonight and lost £17,70p which i want a refund !!!

Disgusting food and never again. Meat had tasted like it had been heated up in the microwave, lettuce smelt of damp. 20 quid order and ate about £1.00s worth. Nothing nice at all.

Very very very poor service. I can’t believe a place like this is even a business. I ordered on just eat and had to wait an hour just to find out if my food was delivered or not. My food came 1 hour late, I was very unhappy. Moreover, when I called them several times, they didn’t pick up at all. Close. This. Place. Down.

Waste of money. For £21 you will much better eat in McDonald’s and you will have much more food for that. Not recommend.

Brought online before but this time popped into the shop. I was over charged by at least £1 on each food item and charged for drinks that I wasn’t given. Quantity was small considering the price, no salad on kebab, no pitta. I tried to call the store multiple times and no answer. Would not recommend to anyone anymore. Unfortunately I couldn’t put 0 stars.

My order was 2 hours and 10 minutes late . I had ordered my food at 12:05 it had came at 2:15am , I am disgusted .. my food was absolutely freezing and the milkshakes was spilt everywhere in the bag! The food was awful the timing was awful . To get hold of someone to see where my food was was awful. I would like a full refund . I will never order from this restaurant again .
