Very good KFC, not many sit in customers, but popular delivery service

Went through the drive through at 4pm on 17th December.. No other vehicles in the queue and couldn’t see a single person sat inside. Ordered my food and drove to the collection window. Waited a couple of minutes, then was asked to pay, given my two drinks and asked to drive forward and park in the first order bay. Two mighty buckets, gravy and extra hot wings we’d ordered, so nothing out of the ordinary. Nearly 20 minutes later, and after at least four other vehicles had been through the drive through and collected their order, ours was finally brought out. A young lad offered his apologies for the delay adding he’d put in some extra hot wings for having to wait so long. Got home only to find they’d missed a portion of fries and two pots of gravy from the order and all of the hot wings, including the ones we’d ordered, were dry and unpalatable. The one portion of fries were cool and soggy and we didn’t enjoy our meal at all. Had I had the time and been able to, I would have returned to the store to complain, but circumstances wouldn’t allow it and the overall experience has put us off using that restaurant again.

I am no relation to or previous friend/contact of Jessie's & this is now my 2nd Visit here on my way home to Northallerton as a Nurse Lecturer/Tutor in Nursing at the Uni. This man could not be more helpful! He if anyone deserves a) recognition! b) promotion in one form or other. He is modest in how he goes about descretely yet positively + efficiently his work. Jessie always ( without exception) makes himself available to whoever he detects requires help - almost before they display the body language that might indicate the person/people need help. He is polite & non - invasive in his approach. He is + would be "an absolute GEM of an asset to ANY company! "

Had bad experience tonight at 22:15 in drive through. There was only 1 person serving drove through and clients over the counter. I understand they might have been overworked as all the pressure was on this 1 person. As the outcome theor attitude wasn't the grratest. First he told me to wait at the bay as "he must to cook it". Didn't explain how long it could take. I must have been waiting about 20 minutes. There was no ocars before me or after me so it wasn't too busy but still is not justification why there was only 1 person doing everything at restaurant. Once my food was finally ready he came to me and said : " here is you food" and almost throw it at me. I didn't get the chance to ask for napkins or sauces as there was no in the bad as he quickly gone back. Horrible servoce this time, but I acknowledge he must have been stressed as he was the only 1 person there. Mamagment should take care of it and employ more people or close restaurant when there is only 1 staff member responsoble for everything.

Stopped in on Saturday night (30/11). Only 3 staff on and a queue of delivery drivers waiting. The staff worked miracles, getting the food out. It was probably the best KFC we've had. Tasted great and was piping hot.

Food was nice and staff helpfully but no one cleaning up around the tables and the floor

Firstly it's freezing in there! Secondly please teach some of your staff some manners and customer service skills. If it's busy then we expect to wait. But to be ignored and argued with... Edit. Hahaha next time. No thanks. I don't think the other customers in there, same time as us will either. Funny how when you talk to the locals they tell you to avoid too. When comments appear on here that say otherwise I 'might' return.

Alright, so I went to KFC the other night. Yeah, that’s right, I’m admitting it. I needed some greasy, deep-fried therapy, alright? And, lemme tell ya, walking in, it smelled like regret and childhood memories…basically heaven. So I’m there at the counter, and the guy behind it? Looked like he’d rather be ANYWHERE else in the world, and I get it. I mean, who actually dreams of slinging fried chicken at midnight? But c’mon, buddy, gimme a break – I just want my bucket of sadness and crispy joy. I ordered the famous bucket meal. "Famous" is a big word, but whatever. It’s a bucket, they dump chicken in, I take it home, and that’s that. The chicken? Hot, crunchy, probably radioactive. I don’t care. You get that first bite, that crispy skin – it’s like hearing a song you haven’t heard since high school. It just hits ya right there. Then the sides come in. Mashed potatoes? Looked like they were poured out of a tube. And the gravy? I don’t even know what’s in that gravy, but it could fuel my car if I ran out of gas. So yeah, KFC – it’s messy, greasy, questionably edible… and I’ll probably be back next week.

Good food great staff. Only one thing is the ordering and payment with cash. It's gone backwards.

More life and speed in corpses than the staff in this place, literally not a personality between them. Added to that the shared men and women toilets mean I won't be back, I'm not comfortable letting my young teenage daughter use shared toilets. Food was ok, chicken fillet in my burger was that thin it looked like it'd been run over. Shame it's so close to home but it's not for me.

I always get chicken fillets and chips. Never disappointed, you do after wait. But they are freshly prepared, which I love.. Service is great, always clean and tidy. Toilet don't smell nasty 😁

Went inside for a takeaway was in and out in less than 10 minutes was very good and food was good as well

Please just close this place down and replace with Popeye's or Jollibee's both are million times better

Seems to have turned around for the better, faith restored to KFC.

Having not been for a year or so we decided to give KFC in Scarborough a try again, food made to fresh order, tasty and hot, the service by Juliet was second to none, very thorough and polite.

Quick and efficient, ready in no time . It was cooked to perfection.

It took 25 minutes for two drinks! However, Juliet was running round like a lunatic. Give them a decent amount of staff to run the restaurant with! Saturday night and I counted 3 of them total!

Had to wait around 25 mins for my food but it was really busy so can’t really fault them for that. Staff were very polite and were apologetic about wait and gave free popcorn chicken so can’t really complain.

We’ve been here for couple of times. We have to wait for the food more than half an hour even though there were no other customers. They keep saying 5 minutes.

The staff I’m here should be ashamed of themselves, your the problem, not the unit, or the food. Hire competant staff for gods sake, 3 out of 4 occasions that I have ordered from here my order has been wrong! Two box meals, one with beans one with gravy, how is that so hard?? Twice now I have ordered that exact order and twice now you have sent beans with both meals, it completely ruins your tea when the wrong order arrives, not to mention the potential risk of allergies. Get it right or go work somewhere that you are not risking people’s health!

Today, we visited KFC after traveling for about 30 minutes. We had a terrible experience there. We ordered 20 pieces of hot wings, drinks, and 3 pieces of regular chicken. Unfortunately, the 20 pieces of hot wings were cold and soggy. When we informed one of the staff members, they simply reheated the hot wings in oil and returned them to us. This was the worst KFC experience in Scarborough.

First time at KFC it was Better than I thought it would be

Ordered a original recipe deal , chips & gravy really nice, 3 pieces of chicken very poor.

KFC Scarborough was excellent during my visit. All the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, especially Lottie who remembered I'd ordered a Watermelon & Lime Refresher drink and made sure I got it after I nearly left without it! The chicken is good, for fast food, and it's enjoyable. Can't complain at all!

Dined in on the way back from a trip to Scarborough. Absolutely filthy place. Rubbish all over the floor and filthy tables, nobody made any attempt to clean anything. Several women bring harassed by young men of a certain type, to the point that they had to move tables. They made up our burgers, then we saw them take cold fries off a delivery order that had been sat there for 20 minutes and put them onto our tray. We complained and asked for fresh fries - the guy pulled a face and went off to cook them. Wouldn't rush back.bad atmosphere and bad service. Food was actually good so at least it deserved one star.

Great team, managed excellent in the past it was a bad experience but now everything is very good timing for serve personal caind 100% I will come back to buy

The food was served cold, but I still gave it 1 star because it managed to fill me up while I was on the move. Don't waste your time and money.

Check your order before you leave. Drove from Bridlington to get a kfc. Bought a party bucket for £34.99 waited 20 minutes for them to bring the food at the drive-through. Got home to find no chips in the bag, called them and was told they'd give me a code for the chips next time...I asked to bring the whole thing back and have it replaced and they said no...absolutely will not use them again so told them to keep their code.

Really good KFC the reason for 4 stars is due to the tables always being dirty and covered in KFC bags and rubbish, I've visited on 6 occasions and I always have to ask for a cloth so I can clean my table down. I enjoy the chicken 🍗 though.

We went through the drive through, and they forgot our chips so had to drive back through, for £2 for a portion the amount you get is a rip off. The food wasn’t particularly warm, almost like it had been made and sat for a while. I would say it was particularly nice, wish we had gone to McDonald’s as for the price could have got allot more food and been hotter as there busier. Should have known with how dead it is not to go, not one person drove through the drive through whilst we were sat. Unfortunately on this experience would never return. Disappointed as like KFC

I recently visited KFC with my family for a dine-in experience, hoping for the usual finger-licking goodness. However, to our dismay, the experience fell far below our expectations. The chicken was excessively oily, leaving a greasy residue on our fingers and plates. Despite being loyal patrons, this visit left us thoroughly unsatisfied. KFC's usually high standards seemed to have faltered, resulting in an underwhelming meal. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that did not live up to the brand's reputation.

Delivery took over an hour for less than 3 miles. Food was cold. Chips & Cookie were missing from order. Overpriced. Restaurant ignored phonecalls. Demolish now.

It's been a while, so!ce I've had a KFC. Well worth the wait, great food, with quick service.

Unusually for KFC it was clean however the food was overcooked, maybe explained by the Macdonalds next door being full whilst the zKFC was empty.

Staff are friendly. Food was good. No coffee though as machine wasn't working. Had fresh orange juice instead which I suppose is better for you. Restaurant tidy. Update coffee machine now working 😁.

Stacker chicken burger is fantastic, I dumped the stuffing didn't fancy that,chips were garbage but I had had enough after burger or would have got them swapped for fresh ones , a lot of the tables were not clean as I entered but they were after my order was ready, Don't know why KFC don't get on top of there franchises and sort them out because they all have a rubbish write up.

The sundea tasted like chicken, was going home back. To Doncaster called in for some tea app order the won't be ordering ice cream from here again was wierd taste like chicken fat had been put in the ice cream last time a came here was June not a problem but last night was rank ice cream was.

Made me pay for my meal twice as the auto service screen didn't give me a ticket. When it came it was two over cooked scrapie pieces of chicken, chips where OK. When I got home I found out I had paid and rang them (took 2 or 3 time to answer the phone) to be told I had to come back to the place to be refunded (80 mile round trip) NOT HAPPY AT ALL‼️

This was my first visit here. Myself and a colleague called in on the way back to the office for a late lunch. The place was empty which I was surprised by given it was half term week. Ordered 2 BBQ filet tower burger meals but for some reason mine tasted really bitter and made me feel sick so after two bites I throw it away. My colleagues was fine and he finished his. In hindsight I should have complained but didn't and just left. Shame as this is my closest KFC, but I won't be going back.

Food took ages but the worst part was after been given the most pathetic zinger Burger I've ever seen was told they don't make it here. Food was cold. Better when I order online from another KFC. Don't bother save your money.

Went to the Market lane KFC today 23/09/23. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very clean and tidy.

Shocking! Ordered a 14 piece bargain bucket and other bits for a family tea. Got it home and ALL 14 pieces of chicken were drumsticks! Rang the restaurant spoke to a 'manager' who said it can happen on occasions! Absolutely not! Took it back and wanted it replacing with a mixture of chicken. Spending almost £50 you expect more than drumsticks. Not the first time we've had to take food back. Having said that when we took the food back a nice lady swapped food over to a mixture of chicken as it should have been to start with. It's annoying that you have to take food back as while you're doing that rest of it is going cold.

I went to KFC with my daughter as an special treat and was very disappointed. I ordered the vegan burger and I received a spicy piece of cardboard, soggy chips and flat coke.

Missing a gravy and fries, but the food was excellent. Will go again when in Scarborough.

The food is nice, but damn it takes forever. Waiting 45 minutes in a drive through defeats the entire point of drive through! Aside from that, KFCs portions are kinda small. Id like a bit more for what I'm paying.

Order your food to getting it takes years (which it feels) don’t even bother trying to cue up at the till to a member of staff to order food , or ask for cookies, or some sauce (they never ask if you want any sauce after eventually waiting 30 mins for your food when it’s quiet) they put your food out shout your number and disappear to the back.. nice restaurant which is either very understaffed of the staff just don’t want to ever serve people..

It's KFC. At the moment it's all relatively new still and clean. Service is good and relatively good quality. It's never been overly busy when I have been in though so could be very different other times.

Sorry state this restaurant. Go in order food. Then have to stand about waiting for 24:30mins for my eat in food. Staff stood around chatting. Was not busy so they can’t use that excuse and food was mediocre. Not a very good experience. Chatting with other customers and they had long waits too and not the first time kept people over waiting. Fast food ? Don’t make me laugh 😂

Just been IN and ordered a 6 piece bucket 2 large gravy’s and a fillet burger on its own! She passed me the bag and I said it’s all in there she said yes! Drove home 14 miles open bag no fillet burger! To say I’m miffed is an understatement! They were to busy talking about how they were short staffed to worry about my order terrible service I won’t be going again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And gave me no receipt to prove I paid!!!!!!

Alex one of unit leader showing racist attitude towards us while we ordered a party bucket in 10 pm 17/07/2023 he can't provide it and he is saying we are closing the restaurant in one hour but we say we can wait for 20 minutes to get the party bucket but his attitude towards us is very painful and it's very shameful for us that we are living in 0% tolerance

It is currently 10:21 and the website says this venue is open till 11pm. The door is locked with the staff stood inside closing up.

If you want to eat just like fast food is not possible because personal no work fast and your food will be ready in 30 min

When asking staff for stuff it just seemed everything was a effort and I was putting them out.went back up to ask for napkins and the staff member was on his phone he just looked at me then continued on his phone and another staff member from the back had to get me them absolutely shocking.

Food took half an hour to come out, was left sitting out while waiting for other parts to arrive. Someone asked to see the manager and the manager never came out.

Waited 45 minutes for my food… never known anything like it in my life. I wasn’t the only one who was waiting for this long either

Only complaint is technical. Machine didn’t print receipt so didn’t know order number. Everything else was great. Service with a smile. Food fantastic.

We've been here a couple of times and the chicken has never been good, they are either cooking in very old oil, over cooking or re-frying either way not great and the oil just drips from the chicken while you are trying to eat it. We like KFC but this is one of the worst we have been to.

Great KFC in a very good location. The service can be slow sometimes, even when there isn't many people waiting but the staff are friendly and the food has always been consistent. A few tweaks to be made here and there but overall, 4/5.

Not a great experience, zinger burger served with bun, nothing else. Order incorrect, drinks missing and took half an hour to serve at 3pm with only one other person waiting. To be fair to the staff there were only two of them and they constantly running out of items and had to open new packages to get what they needed.

Absolute shambles. Manager and staff were useless and extremely rude. The only saving grace was the food. It wasn't too bad but with that being said, I'll never go back to this KFC again.

We had to wait 45mins for the food, fast food definitely NOT. Also paid extra for gravy to have with the chips and got back to Filey to find we had no chips with our meals. Adsolutely appalling.

Lowest quality KFC I have ever eaten!! Cold chicken, chips and the same came out after sending the first meal back. Dark, overcooked and left to go cold. The oil obviously needed changing and had gone well beyond the maximum use. Toilets were exceptionally clean, as was the entire site.

This place is the worst KFC branch. I have ordered meals many times and they are always burnt, dried out and hard. The dish "Gravy Mega Box" which has gravy sauce in the name, it's never there, they always offer something in return, but if I wanted to eat something else, I would order something else. That's how it is every time. Yes, there will be no customers.

First visit, probably my last. What's the fuss all about? The food was warm how can that be when it's fast food. Of course my grandkids loved it & that's OK, although they were dissapointed there's was none of the famous gravy! 2nd visit with my family of 6 . 14th May. I said i wouldn't visit here again, however it's always worth a second chance.BUT this visit was even worse. I've changed to one stars as the tables were filthy as was the floor where people had been sat, I had to break up the chit chat of the staff to ask if they could possibly clean the tables so we could eat. This is inexcusable as clearly its a health & safety issue. It's not difficult for the staff to observe that jobs need attending to and make it a pleasant visit for customers. There were no serviettes and the screen for ordering food should cleaned as this was also filthy. For goodness sake where is the management when you need them I I sincerely hope the management read this . When customer's are prepared to spend their hard earned cash they at least expect a decent and clean environment. I honestly feel like I should report this to the environmental officer.

Poor service after 35 min wait had send food back very poor quailty gravy like water chips cold manager wasn't helpful at all place untidy got a refund in the end I was one of four customers waiting in line to complain about food

KFC was a disappointment I called a few weeks ago for a takeaway. It was not impressed, so we tried the restaurant no better. Strange Mcdonald at the side of KFC was packed out only 2 in KFC . The best one is in Hull at St. Andrew's key, always good, never veris

Always pretty good but I usually only go when it's quiet.

A much better visit than last time. Good service and staff very knowledgeable of the menu. Very pleasant staff at the window and very quick service which is a great improvement than last time. Thank you all
