Gave me food poisoning this weekend. Been on the toilet all day and night

family said food was OK some of it was cold good service

If I could i would give zero stars. This is the worst Kfc i’ve been so far to. The cashier tried to overcharge for our meal (I notice she does it often which is a fraud). Team members have no respect towards their customers, keep talking loudly in Indian, not paying attention to what we were ordering, very rude and etc. The sad part is that it’s a franchise and nothing will change because owner is exactly like that too.

I ordered hot wings and zinger burger on today. I was not Oke with my zinger and I told to the person worked there named Keerthi she sorted by providing us another .

They have made chilli chips as a standard and not everyone (including me) likes chilli chips. Chips went in the bin but the rest of the meal was great.

Always set your order to "ready for collection" even though it's not ready then often get it wrong.

The bathrooms are dirty, stinky and disgusting. It says that they clean the toilets every day but it does not look like it.

Wraps and burgers basically dismantled hot wings burnt no spice or taste

The meal turned up cold and items were missing from my order, delivered by just eat on a peddle bike with no way of contacting shop as they don’t answer the phone, an absolute joke to a £30.95 order. Managed to eventually contact the shop as the driver advised he would return with the missing items, the shop informed me that as the driver refused to deliver the missing items there was nothing they could even though they missed the items off the order, what a complete joke !

They are the best KFC in all Croydon hands down

Honestly a good KFC all round. I've ordered in and gotten take-out multiple times without any complaints. I honestly don't get why this KFC has very low reviews, although I would avoid the toilet.

Boycott KFC. Plenty of local chicken places to support in Purley

Amazing service 👍🏽 I was going to give a 4 star review because the ladies toilet 🚽 was soo covered in water 💦 splashes everywhere etc but I spilt my popcorn 🍿 chicken 🍗 and it went on the floor chairs 💺 everywhere 😢but the KFC Purley Croydon manager was soo nice and replaced it for me 🥤with hot 🔥 popcorn 🍿 chicken 🍗 thanks soo much 😃☺️ because I felt so unwell today 🤕 thank you for making my day better 🌞🙏🏽 JODY aServiceAngel 😘

I've just had my order delivered and it's totally wrong. Everything. You people need to get someone with a brain cell in thier heads to work in this place. Disgusted.

Somtimes in the evening they really reluctant to make a ice creams either say machines out of service or either they cant be bothered to make one I've had 2 krushems from them I tried to go for a third said machines out of order, other than that everything was spot on.

They delivered the wrong order and won't re-deliver the correct order. Never ordering from here ever again. Steer clear

Try to order from KFC Purley at your own peril. Delivery drivers routinely go to a completely different address, food arrives cold and the Purley branch is uncontactable, never answering the telephone. Order from Caterham branch - at least they know what they are doing.

Terrible ghetto rude staff and always gets orders wrong. And what’s with the warms cans on delivery. Is it that hard to put them in the fridge.

Dined in at KFC Purley recently and had a wonderful time. Also, being able to order in the app to dine in was a plus. The new management /staff at the tills seemed much friendlier.

The food quality is very poor. It turned up cold.

Orfered delivery that never came in, tried to call the number no one bothered to pick up, gave up about half an hour of attempts.

Assuming the food here is the same as most KFC's didn't stay as the staff were terrible. I was at the counter waiting for someone to just turn around and answer a question and then take my order. They were all "looking" super busy fulfilling one order, why it takes three of them, two who were front of house staff, I could not fathom? They were literally waiting for the kitchen staff to finish cooking before they would even turn around to acknowledge me. After waiting at least 4 minutes, I said to my friend who had just arrived from a part of Ireland where food of this nature isn't available, that we are going. Fortunately being in London, Purley has a glut of fast food eateries doing fried Chicken, whom you can use as an alternative. People's ability to interact and be civil see so diminished perhaps this is the long term consequences of COVID.

Second time I've ordered here and the food was extremely salty and the chicken undercooked.

That was the third time and the hell the last time I bought food from this place! Get your expiration of the meat in line! Not nice! Three times now, I will come back if something comes up on me, like salmonella virus. Absolutely not ! This brunch of KFC..if not all of them around UK, Shut it down for heaven's sake.

I placed an order then waited for 15 minutes however others were getting served including pickups. Apparently they forgot about my order so when I went to the till, I was told there are only legs and that if I need all the pieces I have to wait for an additional 12 minutes. KFC used to be good back in the days but now they are poor in almost every aspects. When I used the one at Church Street East Croydon, it was the same level of service. I doubt if the owners or shareholders care about reviews.

Ordered on the app for a takeaway, took a while to collect as it was so busy - not their fault. Food was tasty and hot - always a win.

I haven't eaten something as disgusting as this in a long time... Any chicken shop will be better than this one. I advise you to stay away from it

Where do I start? Saturday sept 9th 2023, ordered using the machine at approx 7.30pm. It was fairly busy so I had to wait... and wait... and wait until approx 7.55pm. I was on the verge of cancelling when the girl behind the counter called out my order number. During my wait I had been witnessing the same girl having to tell EVERY customer, once their order was ready, that there was no ice for the drinks. The lack of ice means they are flat as well as warm! The manager seemed to be making this poor girl just field the customer complaints rather than go to sainsbury next door and buy dozens of cold cans instead. Not one customer was warned upon ordering that the drinks were warm and no discount or refund was offered. Very poor customer service here. Colonel Sanders would be horrified to see what his dream turned into.

Ordered delivery, only half the order turned up. Got partial refund from deliveroo but didn't make up for lack of drink, and dips and half the chicken.

I recieved an incomplete order and when I tried to contact them it was useless because the number that's provided is not one that is ever answered. Not only was my order incomplete but to my shocking surprise the food was right out sloppy, had me wondering who in their right mind prepared an order to send out looking the way it did. I paid almost £50 and never get what I paid for, Damm shame and disgrace, these are some of the reasons why people do wrong things in this world.

Decent KFC and the food is solid, some interesting characters around at night though, including the staff. They also close off the seating area almost all the time. Try Selsdon KFC if you want it to be quieter.

The tables were absolutely covered in probably hours worth of old bits of food as well as the floors which honestly looked like they hadn't been mopped in a very long time. There was sauce and fingerprints up the walls and the glass and I found a condom in the toilet which had no toilet roll (boyfriend came out of the toilet wretching in attempt not to be sick because it was so disgusting in there and decided not to use them). The staff were pleasant enough to us but we're running around laughing and joking on the floor when they probably should have been cleaning it. The vegan burger itself was extremely disappointing, shame the recipe has completely changed for those cheap Quorn burgers at such an expensive price. Really unsure how this place has a five star hygiene rating in all honesty, and I definitely would not have eaten there if I hadn't had ordered before seeing the mess.

For some odd, yet scurrilous reason, my mind doth wander toward the stringy sounds of the song "Knights in White Satin" on every occasion upon which I think of this KFC. Yoinks and away!

Great KFC branch. Very efficient staff and service. The food is always fresh and served quickly. The seating area could do with some modernising.

the manager veronica gave us excellent service, very friendly, helped us save money to chose a cheaper meal option which was better for us. i’ll definitely be coming back here and recommend anyone who likes kfc purley is the one!!!! thank you veronica

Staff all to busy dealing with pick up orders got told my order can wait its not important to them and I should wait but waiting 15 mins before I asked totally a joke never again

Been to counter 20 mins before to closing, shortage of food and uncorporative team. Dakshini and her team (male staff team who didnt tell me there names)was serving at the moment. I understand the value of work load but they failed to satisfy the customer or maintain the environment nice which is not good for ratings as i am their customers from more than a year now. I came in I ordered from my app but it was playing up so me and my boyfriend went into kfc showed them that I paid for it and the staff called there manger in she said that they are always problems with the kfc app she couldn’t see my order she said that she was going to bag up my food but try to call someone because the app was down as we waited she asked if we wanted any to drink for us waiting we eventually got our food the manger was so nice and very friendly

Just another branch of KFC. Sitting area is good but the self kiosk has failed to print out receipts so you can't show the staff when food is ready.

Staff were terrible, there was mess everywhere

Toilets had no tissue or soap, although empty all tables in the dining area were dirty. Makes you wonder how many customers are using the toilet, and not washing their hands. Going straight to the tables spreading their germs and eating. When I asked if it was possible to get my table wiped, the lady asked another female colleague she responded "Are you joking". When I said I don't mind doing it myself, she came out to wipe the table with a paper towel, spraying the chemical straight onto the table which splashed back out onto the kids. It was just a disaster. Why do they not have cloths to clean tables? The team need massive training on food hygiene because this goes beyond cooking.

Ordered a 10 piece bargain bucket through Deliveroo got eight hot wings two portions of chips drink and what we got was freezing cold tried to ring him up got an answer Machine saying we can’t take your call at the moment. Absolutely appalling stay away from this branch

Found hair in my rice box and hair in the chiken wings was so disgusted i couldn't even eat/ An update : i've ordered twice online after the complaint, and the delivery person never came and marked as delivered. I had to call customer service and the time of money refund is 72 h. Sistem takes your money straight away but refund in 2 days..how professional... The delivery ppl in Purley are always a problem and always late seems like they are not bothered with doing the job.

I made an order for delivery, which when arrived was missing an item. I phoned the store to see if they could offer any assistance, as clearly the order was not packed correctly. The member of staff who answered the phone was very rude and lacked basic customer service skills. She repeatedly explained that she does not know me and therefore cannot be trusted, but she knows her staff and they can, completely ignorant to human error. I found this quite disrespectful, to be accused of attempting to deceive them out of a £10 meal…In the end, her only suggestion was to take it up with the delivery provider (who was not at fault). When asked for name and position, so I could take this up further, she refused, claiming she didn’t need to provide them, another example of poor customer service.

Placing order in KFC, they still missed out some of the order. It wasn't noticed until i was home. Very disappointing

Better and cleaner than West Croydon kfc, better staff for sure but the chips are so ewwwwwww! Why are they like potatoes and unfortunately they mess up my orders alot.

The quality of service here has definitely dropped. Staff really don't look like they want to be there. Not very attentive and make mistakes on orders etc. It doesn't help that the app doesn't work properly anymore.

3 youngsters with attitude problem lots of cursing behind the counter and also I have my kids here with me

Haven't had a KFC in years, ordered it online it was waiting for me on my arrival. It hit the spot, the taste was as I had remembered!

I had a great experience ever, everything was great apart from the ordering machine in store, it failed to get the customer order number receipt and if you're eating in you are supposed to take one of the tokens number beside the machine, and there wasn't any. I think they hadn't collected them from the tables. Other than that it was a very good experience ever. Keep up the good work. Thanks KFC Purley.

Kfc purley.... Such a let down Got there and wanted to used my kfc reward app on a Saturday evening... They were not accepting the rewards program 😒 and I had a reward for a 6 piece meal for half price. This was despite them having a massive advert in their windows promoting the kfc app reward specials... Talk about false advertising... I think because Saturday is busy they decided to maximise their profits.. I ended up having to pay £14 instead of £7 for my meal . And this is not the first time they have done this .

Talking about online order experience. Items missing, when you call there's no answer and your hung up. Food not good, x3 items missing! Beware, not recommended.

The food is tasty and the rice box is definitely worth the money! The seating area is nice and I like the décor. The service is also quick.

Could be so much better if managed properly. I've been a few times, hoping it may improve, but have stopped going there now. I guess that most business is from take away or deliveries and the restaurant is not important to them. Seems to be staffed by kids who appear not to give a ........... I get that it's hard to motivate yourself for minimum wage however. Every single visit the restaurant floor is dirty, the tables are not cleaned, the bins are full, and there is a long wait for food, even when it's not busy. I've never seen anyone cleaning. The toilets are dirty if they are functioning at all that is.

Just popped in for a 3 piece meal, got home and had 3 small drum sticks in? No mention of thats all we have, so a selection as per advertised would have been nice, not exactly what I was expecting. Then no drinks available as machine isn't working so only bottled drinks water or juice, have cans but only for deliveries? I wouldn't say value for money at all.

Nice! Long time without eat KFC and been surprise.

The food was good... Not greasy and we got more than the allocated 7 chips per portion which was a bonus!! However the floors, tables and toilets were terrible. Floors and tables were dirty so we cleaned these ourselves. The toilets were atrocious. I couldn't believe how dirty and unhygienic these were. Sorry KFC staff.....

Rude staff with lots of attitude and no manners. We were spoken to so disrespectfully when they had packed an order totally incorrectly. The receipt tells you what should be in the bag so how can you get it so wrong, I can understand mistakes happen but to miss of entire meals, provide a 6 piece bucket when it should of been 10, get all the sides wrong and then tell me i must go through the delivery company when we already waited for the food is not acceptable. We went into store to collect the missing items as when we rang they said they couldn't do anything, we weren't asking for extra food, just what was missing but all they kept saying is they cant do that because it will mess up their system!! Have been going to this branch for over 15 years and its got so bad over time but that comes to an end now, especially as the little girl Laura behind the counter got so rude and wanted to fight my husband!!!! Lots of training needed at this branch as thete is zero customer service!!!

We brought some chicken today from here.The food was sooo bad.There was no flavour and they used the old oil and we can really feel the bad taste of it.overall the food was really bad and the worst part is that i got stomach ache after eating the chicken.

Not great, I thought take the kids to KFC Quiet except for deliveries being collected yet Tables and chairs empty but all dirty. Ordered four meals and they must not have listened as 2 of them were wrong. Checked the receipt and they entered them incorrectly. Chips cold, still a bit raw, kids pineapple ice lolly not cold. Attitude at mentioning not worth continuing so left disappointed.

Great food- And service in a cleaner than usual fast food joint definitely recommended! Gets pretty busy after the schools kick out- So may be a slight delay?

From self ordering system to collection of order it's seamless. Ask for sauces at the counter and away you go.

Lady named Pamela really has the worst service I’ve ever seen in this KFC Purley absolutely appalling at her job.

Food is brill and delivery fast but this is second time I've had food delivered and gravy has spilled. Either staff aren't closing lid properly or delivery drivers are careless. Other than that great tasty food.

Had delivery through delivaroo,chicken missing 15 chips per portion! Stone cold! Called kentucky was told called delivaroo? Called delivaroo was told to call kentucky! Offerd £7.00 refund, absolute disgrace my food has been tampered with,needless to say went in bin ! Staff are rude,ignorant and apparently can not count ! Refund refused !

No one in this store cares, the staff don’t smile, the service is poor, the food is always greasy! And you’ll be lucky to get what you ordered, as I was missing items. One of the worst KFC stores I’ve been too. AVOID!!!

Personal works very slow, the food coming cold, you order sprite they give you soda with out to explain they don't haves sprite, they give to you your order with missing food for example they didn't give to my son ace creem or corn and I ordered dare devil mail they didn't give me beens and corn too
