KFC Middlehaven - Heath Road in Middlesbrough

This KFC location struggles with order management. I've encountered multiple occasions where orders are not ready on time waited nearly an HOUR causing delays in deliveries, Making it difficult for delivery drivers to do our jobs Efficiently. I hope improvements can be made for a better experience

Bought food on UBER and it came 40 minutes late, cold, no condiments, tasteless. Do not order from here. How KFC is still operating, I have no idea.

My order came missing three items and no one is answering the phone. Paid £41.46 I need to be refunded. People don't get money on trees.

Once again was nearly ripped off, again it pays to check your order before you leave doesn't help when the staff don't know what they are doing and lieing doesn't help.

Improved tremendously over the last 2 years.

Wow 1 woman serving. All there bothered about is just eat order. Waited 20mins for a take out. Drove off to find she never put chips in the kids boxes and she was as slow as anything! Sure w she was on drugs.

I order myself and the family a KFC once a week because we love KFC but everytime we order from this KFC without fail there is numerous things missing off the order it's not hard to do orders the staff clearly need more training

One of the best KFCs I've ever visited if not the best yum yum 😋

This was a tidy little KFC, they have usb and plugs on most tables and food was quick and nice

Crysta & Yemi served me my order quite promptly and I assumed it would be cold and stood there for a while - well I was very wrong everything was piping hot and so succulent. Possibly the best kfc we've had for a while. Well done middlehaven. Credit where credits due.

You'd think the KFC staff were paying me to eat, out of their own pockets! No customer focus at all. Food was not good either, the chicken in my fillet burger was like rubber! Did not enjoy anything about the meal, KFC is not what it once was. Terrible, hence the 1 star.

Need to put more effort into clearing tables after customers have left.

Waited over 2 hrs for a delivery so I went and got it my self ...and it was just been given to the driver as I was there .... no refund issued for the delivery charges .. I understand that sometimes it's busy but 2hrs I mean that's a joke when the just eat app says 20 to 35 min delivery

Check your order at the drive thru, but good food.

I ordered 48 pound of food it never came phoned KFC Middlehaven they said not my problem see just eat . It took over a week to be refunded. Said it was delivered we didn't get it . Both KFC and just eat tried to pass the book.

The worst kfc I have ever been too. Never have any chicken ready, always have to park up for 20 minutes after they take your order. I could go kill the chicken and cook it myself quicker

I think the chicken was alive cause it took over an hour for 3 pieces n portion of fries!! Absolute joke n weird stuff!!

Don't even know how my food is because they don't answer the phone, ordered my food an hour ago and nothing but the phone ringing.

It would take days to get the delivery

Wasn't too busy so served quite quickly

Got my order wrong twice, at the drive through, overcharged by £8, went in to complain and no one bothered to come to the counter and assist so gave up and left as food was getting cold

KFC is big chain every one loves like me today I'm not happy because burger bun was very cold and I ordered eat in and they packed my food for takeaway and staff were looking tired 🙃

Order online, collected 10 min later and it was ready waiting when i arrived. But please, why do you close at 11pm?

Every time we have been to this drive-through, they have got the order wrong !

dreadful service incorrect orders missing items staff too busy trying to get you out of the drive thru and In to the car park to wait for your order only to hand you an incorrect order after waiting 10 minutes will not be returning again !

It's your standard kfc, but make sure you're paying for your order and you get your order and not someone's order, and if you do get your order, make sure everything is there

Avoid have tried numerous times and always had issues like wrong order items missing and cold food but this time took 5 minutes to place order as girl on till didn't have a clue what I was asking for, then serving just eat drivers before finally seeking help. Started eating to find the chips wernt cooked through and found 2 long blonde hairs in with them and as I have short brown hair I know it wasn't mine. Will never use this kfc again.

I ordered via Just Eat. The driver was assigned but the delivery time kept being put further and further back. When I called KFC I was first dismissively told they were waiting for the order to be completed, but the driver had left. It took quite a bit of questioning to finally get the truth which was that the driver had walked out and they didn't have another one. They refused to cancel the order (saying that they were unable to, but other restaurants had done it before so I know they can) and as they assigned a driver I can't cancel it on the app. So I've had to go through Just Eat's complaint process. Avoid this KFC at all cost.

Wrong order yet again! No way to contact the store, with no answer on phones, no way contact kfc on their website. Paid for family feast plus extras ended up with no chips and no extras... went down well with the family as my partners birthday treat! Thanks kfc 👍

Ordered by uber after 1 hr wait food came all cold and missing 2 items veggie roce box and a dip ring uber then ring restaurant but all tgey can do give discount on next order ffs never will order from here especially from uber

Seriously I get a 6 piece bucket that includes 5 drumsticks. Should check next time. Must have been left awhile also as they had gone dry. Awful staff and service.

Service slow Chips were cold by the time they arrived in the parking bay and even colder when got them home

Usually best KFC in area. Ordered delivery, 4piece bucket for one came with only 3 pieces, and the chips were disgusting. Don't know what they flavoured them with or why

It's a kfc, so the taste and atmosphere were like every other. But they always take ages to get the food ready and the food is almost always cold. If I have the option between this and any other kFC, I wouldn't pick this

Ordered food 2 hours ago still not arrived don't expect your delivery anytime soon

Always stuff missing if they cant get a simple order right mabe they should choose a different job path like sweeping something thad doesnt require thinking

I am beginning to believe this kfc only do chicken drumsticks, when you spend nearly £40 on food you expect a few proper pieces of chicken not just the cheapest pieces. This has been the last 3 times we have used this one so I think it’s time to give it a miss and use one that knows how to serve proper chicken.

Ordered off Deliveroo chicken pieces and burger arrived but not the 5 chips or was supposed to come with. Nobody answered the phone service the worst in the county AVOID AVOID AVOID you are so poor it’s pathetic

Tables and chairs weren't clean, salt, sauce, crumbs all over.

Portion sizes have reduced. Massive wait time on drive through service. Never get your order right.

Forgot part of my order which happens virtually everytime I come to this KFC was given a code by a manager who said they would replace my full meal. When I went to use the code I was told only certain things would be replaced. Appaling attitudes of the staff and the manager was just as rude. Will be taking my complaint further as this is unacceptable

They do not listen to simple instructions, very ignorant

The worst customer service experienced. I ordered a tower meal and a mighty bucket for one. I was only served a tower meal. The staff said she never heard the order when it was clearly told in the drive thru. Unnecessary 5 minute delay for the meal. There was clearly a lack of communication and showing lazy service. The card was not accepted but that was told later. Other shops accepted the card. They swiped the card not properly. Luckily I had cash . You have to ask the question what would have happened if we did not have cash. Me and my wife were feeling very hungry.. so inconsiderate. Customer Service is very poor. The body language and facial expressions lack enthusiasm and pride that I need to provide the best service. This outlet needs to be reviewed by head office .I will not order Kfc anymore here . This is not the first time it happened.

Waited over 15 mins for chips, as usual delivery drivers got priority it does not seem to matter about the people that use the drive through or restraunt.

Very very slow taking order waiting a long time in drive through so went to McDonald's instead 🙃

Ordered beans & corn but got 2 x gravy. Ordered 6 hot wings but non in bag at least not charged for them. Asked for sweet chilli dip & supercharger dip, non but got 3 X BBQ. Rubbish

We got ere late so couldn't eat in but it's a decent kfc

12 peice chicken sharemeal didnt get bena salad dips chicken breast was spicy and not normal even dog wouldnt eat it

My first KFC for months, really enjoyed it.

Standard KFC, so food is OK but soooo slow when going through the drive thru, only ordered a boneless banquet for one and had to sit in bay 1 for 10 minutes.

Ok it's kfc don't expect gourmet food if you catch it fresh out of the fryer it's decent for fast food

Very disappointed in the service here. Came here for a couple of box meals and used the table service and kiosk ordering as there was quite a few people at the tills, mostly delivery drivers waiting for orders. Eventually had to go ask where my food was after 30 minutes as still no sign of it. Service is very slow even though there was about 6 customers in the entire eat in section. The staff seem to prioritise takeaway orders over actual sit down customers. Food was good though.

Staff were friendly, food was hot for a change. Pleasant atmosphere. Would be good if you could put Mash up on the self service as a choice instead of chips/fries .. be so much easier to put our order through. Staff Amelia did just great 👍 so well done to her. Fabulous attitude 👏

My overall experience of food quality and customer service was good. The staff are friendly and helpful; and, as is common knowledge, the food is 5 star. I experienced a small issue with some of the younger staff members in the recent past, but that has been quickly resolved; probably through their staff training programme. As an update to my review, months on and this place has really picked up and all factors associated with a 5 star rating has been met. Not a bad little joint - I recommend it.

Absolutely DISGRACEFUL staff, not friendly or helpful at all, slow workers, took forever for the food to arrive, When it did the chips were RAW and we were missing drinks and chicken, when I asked for the chicken the woman said she did not believe us and that she wasn’t going to give us it. REALLY NOT HAPPY if I could rate NO STARS I would

It is what it is isnt it, its KFC. I will say this one always seems to be efficient and they get your orders right, this one has a friendly team are working here.

This is twice we have been scammed by these. First no sides in the delivery and tonight a drive through with no garlic sauce, Charged though. Won't answer phone. Dodgy. Needs closing down.

Called in for a bite not had KFC in years

If I could give it NO STARS I would, this has got to be one of the slowest KFC or FAST FOOD Establishments I have EVER been to, after placing my order got told they would take my number plate & to wait in the carpark, 20 minutes later still nothing, 10 MINUTES LATER I seen a guy wandering around the carpark banging on car windows holding a bag & was eventually told it was my order, "so much for taking my Car Number Plate", No Sauce No Napkins & No CHIPS & "I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE IT" the 3 piece's of on the bone Chicken I waited 30 minutes for was COLD, Who is the manager in this place, have they even worked in a FAST FOOD Establishment before, surly the cooks MUST test the temperature of the food before serving, Especially when it comes to Chicken, "FOOD POISONING springs to mind" looks like nobody had a clue what they where doing, never will I be back here again, after 33 minutes I gave in asked for a refund on the card & believe it or not they told me that can take 3 to 5 days, I honestly couldn't make it up, Thumbs Down from me👎🏽👎🏽

It's a standard KFC; so food wise you know exactly what to expect, the service was pretty fast; the lady serving us was friendly and great with the kids

Ordered a delivery directly from KFC website, waited over 2 hours for it to be delivered which ended up cancelling. We thought it was deliveroo's fault so we drove and ordered over the counter. We were shocked when we arrived, seeing over 10 delivery drivers waiting for the food to be prepared. Took staff 20 minutes to acknowledge us because they clearly couldn't cope with the orders. This must have been the worste takeaway experience I witnessed with no management around to help the team of people in the front. Cant believe KFC blamed deliveroo when we complained. The fault was clearly the restaurants fault. Wish I took photos of the chaous I witnessed. Never again stay away!!!

Worst place in Middlesbrough for Uber Eats, it takes 2 hours for them to make your food and it’s still cold when it gets here. Even the Uber drivers say it’s a joke

This is the slowest drive through service in Teesside. Also always messing your orders up. Is this place where the staff are trained or is there something in the water.

Waited an 45 minutes for our food to be brought to us after going through the drive through and being told to park up and it didn't come so I spoke to the staff member who was bringing the food out to the cars to which he said ull have to order it again ..... like people have nothing better to do with their time ... but I'd paid so went in and had to wait a further 30 minutes for our food ....they call it fast food

Order for a birthday and did not get even get the Birthday girls order, when I tried to ring up to tell them I got no replay shocking absolutely disgraceful and it is on the recent that we order and did not receive but paid for it.

The food is just kfc. However there's one member of staff in there who is just so rude and disrespectful to customers and delivery drivers. The way she speaks to them is shocking.

Waited in the queue for 20 minutes finally when we got to the pay point they had missed half our order so had to park up to which we waited another 10 minutes and still didn’t give us everything we ordered. When we went in to go get the rest of what we ordered they was to busy chatting to each other about Personal things. Food made up for it but the customer service is horrendous
