I ordered two biryani and got a burger instead and don’t even know what non veg it is! I and my husband had to go to bed without food! How irresponsible they don’t even respond

Worst worst worst!!! I ordered two chicken biryani but I got a burger instead with stupid cold chips! I have to sleep with my empty stomach. And they don’t even respond.

The wrap is delicious and tastes more than expected but I was very disappointed with the chicken biryani.

visited middlesbrough from leicester . went in and asked for desi breakfast. they have brilliant variety of desi and english food. order was prepared very quickly and quality was absolutely great. 💯✔ recommended.

I ordered biryani for takeaway and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. However, when I arrived, they informed me they had no biryani left.

AVOID , Came in to order some food . 20 mins thought great not long took it away with me. Just pure grease. Zero taste could go as far as to say wasn't hardly cooked . Staff ignorant as hell to Far better places to eat, Save your money go else where

I ordered chicken biryani from here. The rice was not cooked and the atmosphere there is really irritating. Some people there with their legs on the table and food is spread all over there

READ MORE: don’t order anything from here Food is greasy and not prepared well. Parathas are burnt one side and raw one side. Instead of chicken spring rolls sent me veg spring rolls. Gulab jamun and rasgolla is so bad… not soft and too much sweet. Kulfi ice cream is not made by them. They just sent me 50p ice cream from store… instead I would prefer Nafees Bakers & Sweets 7 Victoria Rd, Middlesbrough TS1 3QD. Their sweets are moist and smooth and tasty…. Owner of this place can’t even take polite feedback… I have rewriting

Messed up two order orders with specified notes saying not to include salad. I asked for my food to be redelivered and they said no it is not their fault. They told me I could only pick up and I told they I couldn't drive to which they replied that its not their fault and put the phone down on me. SCAMMERS.

I liked there chicken curry with classic paratha and the chicken biryani is the best 😁. Rolls and sandwichs are also very tasty. Must tryy ......

The biryani was cold. Too oily and onions were burnt which taste pathetic.

I went around 9 o’clock and there wasn’t a single person in the shop I ordered 3 milkshakes and it took 25 mins to make 3 milkshakes and the lady was stood at the front not doing anything I asked her how long she said nearly ready but then it was another 10 mins for the milkshake. The milkshake was warm and it was horrible avoid this place plz they are terrible the shop inside it disgusting never coming back again. Also the owner is ready rude to people who write reviews. They need to calm down and not talk to people like that especially when we are paying customers

delivery was horrible , burger messy slimy and greasy was not enjoyable also given wrong desert!! -10/10 would not recommend

I have been waiting in the shop for terry shake almost 35 minutes after order.later they come out and told me .they dont have terry shake.very bad service

Awful customer service....there was not any! the table so wobbly that the drinks were bound to be knocked over had we stayed for food, as when we went to order they didnt have the smash burger for my son so we took our custom elsewhere. I was told to avoid this place by multiple friends but i wanted to decide for myself and unfortunately my friends were right!

I saw new branch by karak chai in Middlesbrough i mostly went to Manchester to have desi food. I enjoyed the food here addition to that the chai os fabulous.

They don't have a set price! Good food but constantly fluctuating prices! I believe that prices vary according the owner's mood rather than the menu! Owner(Uncle) tries to be pleasant, but ends up charging you more than the Menu price.

I dont know about other things but I really like chicken curry and portion of rice combination they have on the menu. It tastes really good and always the same. "Just perfect" is how I would like to put it. Chicken Biryani is also good... but the taste changes each time. I understand it very difficult to maintain the same taste. But I prefer Chaiwale biriyani over anyother biriyanis I have tried until now in the UK. Once I ordered lime mojito but sadly it was not that great. The chicken wrap was also fine... not a big fan :) Also dont go for spring rolls, not that great !

Chicken biryani was full of masala. Disgusting. Food came late. Chana cholay was full of oil. Didnt touch that. Chips were full of oil dirt. Avoid this place. Got charged for dining in.

Had a delicious pink tea from here.

Very cosy atmosphere, small place with few tables but very nice food. The chat was not something i would order again it tasted very fresh but not the papdi chat i wanted. The anda shami burger and fries were the best, the tikka paratha roll was v good as well. The portion size are good as well

I ordered biryani. The rice is literally uncooked. Good taste and have lots to improve.

Good all day breakfast with drinks. Fast service for take away. I think I'll explore the menu further next time as it looks lovely.

Great place for really nice desi food. The hot omelette (generous serving) and the fresh desi parata reminded me of Pakistan. The tea ☕ is the real deal. I advise to eat it at the restaurant. The place has a nice ambiance and the owner was very kind and thoughtful. Keep up the good work and keep quality your priority.

It's in the center of Middlesbrough,near Teeside university,good choice for Indian food, also we can get delivery and good quantity of food.Dinig also available there.Toilet facility also there, good vibe ,if you choose dine in.parking facility and wheel chair access is little bit hard.overall I am happy with food good taste, strongly recommend for my friends.But we need to wait little bit for the fresh food because they are making it when you ordered. it's good you can get fresh hot food to eat. Customer friendly dealing are appreciated.

Useless restaurent don't visit , other wise u will loose ur hard money . Dont know how to cook food and tea. I had never eat such worse food in life. We left food and after one bite .

This is the “Desi Special Breakfast” £6.99 Big Desi Paratha, Chana, Halwa Achar Pickle, with Karak Chase I see two paranthas- one extremely dry not fresh at all tasted awful and hard the other clearly the ones u get in a frozen packet. I left home having ordered online to find out the order has been cancelled. When I got to shop to pick up he said it was because he wasn’t at the shop so could not accept the order. I was told reorder would be 10-15 mins. It was longer. Got home finally opened my order up. And this is what I got. Alongside this I also ordered aloo parantha- undercooked and chewy. Not Crispy at all. And the samosa chaat which as of yet we haven’t tried but looks semi decent 😳 massively disappointed with everything else. £13.99 in total for everything what a absolute rip off and not worth the wait nor the travel to pick up

The pink tea was horrible, tasted old, it didn't look right at all, gave me a real bad taste, I had to through it away I'm very disappointed.

The owner sold us a death trap car,took fully amount & said car was fine ! Full on scam & fraud! Stay away from this guys takeaway

Great tasty food but too expensive. Biriyani was very good and portion was big. Masala chips was good. Tea is too expensive. Cost nearly £2 for a small cup. Otherwise, very good food. Will go again.

Good place to explore variety of chai. I tried biriyani and chai which was good. The quantity of biriyani was commendable and worth for £7.

Good selection of tea. The doodh Patti was on point. I liked that a lot. My daughter had the samosa chaat and tikka wrap. Both very nice. All in all a great little find and I will definitely be back for the tea. Oh and I travelled from Newcastle for the tea. Can't get it there only karak tea which I am not a fan of.

Juat ordered a chicken biryani today and it was awful. We had tried their kebabs before thats pretty okay. But the biryani was bad and spoils the name of chicken dum biryani.

Pink tea was overly salted and cornflake tart with custard was cold and too hard. Karak chai was too black and not made properly.

" Chai Wale" are apportunistic interms of prices. They costed me £ 2.50 for the same tea , which I bought it in £1.0 earlier . Explanation given to me was price is wrong on the board. I wouldn't recommend " Chai wale" services to anyone.

Visited last night and I ordered a chicken curry, roti and a slice of chocolate fudge cake. I have never seen a curry with so much oil in it 🤦🏽‍♂️. This tiny pot had more oil inside it than Saudi Arabia. My “roti” was basically a shaana pratha which is not what I ordered. I don’t see how she doesn’t have any atta lying around to make a fresh “roti”. I was instead given this frozen and artificial version of a “roti”. The only decent thing was the chocolate fudge cake. I’d happily come her for desert but deffo not food.

I very rarely leave reviews but this time around it was so bad that I felt a need to do so. I ordered a pink tea with mix nuts in when I collected my tea there were no nuts. Small mistake it happens but the worst part was that the tea didn't even taste good. It tasted like there was cold milk added to it after it was made. I also bought Gajrela which is my favourite . I asked how old it was and was told that it's only a day old which is fine. When I took my fist spoonful I realised it was alot older than I was told. It tasted like it's gone off mushy and sour. I really hope that you put dates on your food and your staff don't tell customers that food is fresh when it's actually gone past its used by date. I am sorry to be so harsh but it was an awful experience.

Love it here, I recommend the Karak chai or Masala Chai. I love to come here, get a drink, and brain storm ideas. Really welcoming, great service and always smells so good!

Ordered milkshakes from here, tasted awful. The consistency was extremely watery and couldn't have more than 2 sips, ended up binning 4 milkshakes. £20 down the drain. Should be renamed 'watershakes' Would have been better off buying a Yazoo.
