KFC Margate - High Street in Thanet

Avoid this place if ordering a delivery, complete wrong order and they put the phone down on me when I told them I had the wrong order, will not use again

Not piking up the phone when I really need you

Only got half my order, meal was only warm with overcooked fries.

Ordered again from KFC Margate via Just Eat and as usual they forget to put in half the order. Always leave out Popcorn Chicken and always wrong sides.

I was a customer here today, I was served by a rude lady name chloe. She come across very rude, disrespectful and abrupt. This customer service was not nice. I was asking for help and she was tutting, rolling her eyes and laughing around her collages. This made me feel very uncomfortable. I then walked out without ordering food. Bad staff!!!!!!

Slow service, old mamas with nowhere to go, not bothered at all. Seems there is no manager

Was refused to be seved over the counter had to use screen etc embarrassed to say dyslexic as others in shop so drove to Broadstairs drive through spent £33 pounds got home no chips totally disappointed & moaning kids . These shops seem to prefer to give priority to delivery companies 🙄

Easily the WORST KFC I’ve ever had haha! Ordered a variety bucket which came with burnt to a crisp hot wings with 2 missing, and the 6 pieces of chicken were all drumsticks… absolute piss take. AVOID!!

I was a customer other day at this KFC restaurant and all I wanted was a bargain bucket and chips with a sprite, the customer service was appalling. I was served by a lady called Chloe and I was disrespected and made to look stupid infront of others. My chips were cold and I asked for another portion she denied and said "that is tough I got other customers waiting!" How rude can you get?

Have to rate it 3 stars went there to order food with my girlfriend cleanliness was a bit of a issue so as the waiting time got ignored by the staff and when I received my food there was items missing when I told them they gave it to me but sadly had I did have to clean the table my self so me and my girlfriend could go and eat there....

I just ordered some vegan chicken sandwiches and was sneered at, the servers turned their backs and were obviously making jokes about it. I don’t think that’s how customers should be treated, if you don’t want people ordering vegan food then don’t serve it! Or at least train your teams on how to not throw shade on people because they aren’t ordering chicken 🤯 This restaurant feels like going back in time, not in a good way - as in everyone that works there has a stone-age mentality. The food was obviously (due to their care) extremely underwhelming.

Just had delivery did not get what I ordered phone store at Margate the response I got was far from satisfactory. I ordered 6 piece bucket, hot wings, gravy, and garlic mayo x 2 Received 10 pice bucket 2 garlic mayo and 4 fillets Not satisfactory. I telephoned store who were far from helpful. Victor Williams 👎

Ordered 4 bargain buckets for 17.99 and didn’t get no freebie’s no napkins or wipes. Had to ask for sauces what a service you have to ask even though I’ve spent more less £72 worth of food not good at all.

Very greasy , tried to order the special offer off the kiosk which is displayed in the window and had to go to the service counter to get the food item, just could not order it. Required a bit of talking to make sure I don't get scammed on what I wanted to purchase. Item was the 3 chicken and chips £4.50. I threw a third of it away.

AVOID !! What is it with this branch? There is a particular female member of staff who seems to work evenings who is SO RUDE! They don't wear gloves when preparing food and if you place an order for delivery they get it wrong repeatedly. So glad Broadstairs KFC is open again. NO NEED FOR HORRID STAFF!

I placed an order on Just Eat for a Trilogy Box Meal and they had left out the Zinger Burger and mini fillet, when I called to see what had happened and if anything could be done they answered the phone then when I explained the problem they hung up and refused to answer anymore calls or would put the phone down. Extremely disappointed!!

thanks for the sleepless night with food poisoning, i knew the chicken looked bad when I ate it, needs investigation its not right.

Such a wonderful experience today at KFC , came in foe lunch and got served by a lovely member if staff called Nadine, I was a bit stuck foe choice bur she used her staff recommendations and suggested what was a realy mice meal! Definitely very happy with how clean the place looks 👌 and how friendly staff are ..... well done Nadine!

New Years day KFC. Took ages to collect after buying on line....food was good just not very well organised.

They forgot half of our order and my Oreo krushem was made with milk that’s definitely out of date. Beyond rancid, avoid at all costs.

Love KFC food, but they don't give you enough chicken or chips, in others words you don't get value for money for how much you pay for the food you hardly get any chicken that goes for any of the KFC

Ordered food, driver delivered wrong order. He went back to pick up correct order. Tracked him on the tracker but as soon as it got close, it said it was delivered. It wasn’t. Complained at restaurant but said I had to go through just eats. Still waiting for refund. Very appalling!!!

Arrived just at the right time when there was a lull, however did have to wait a few minutes for more chicken but manager was very apologetic and offer me a free drink for having to wait, and even gave a few e tracking chips, these extra touches show that our custom is appreciated with genuine thought and actions, well done.

The level of service from this place is utterly disgusting. The food is meant to be hot, right? Well. If you want cold/hard food then honestly look no further. Ordered a fillet tower box meal. Fries, hard and cold. Gravy. Tad under luke warm. Drumstick chicken, cold, and rubbery with a hint of leather texture Burger. Also cold, and with ketchup which was added to the note to be removed. So. If you’re a fan of cold or hard food then this place gets a solid 5 stars. Otherwise, don’t even entertain it and go somewhere else.

Today was the day I decided never to go to KFC again. The food from KFC is always disappointing and more expensive than it should be. The best thing about it is the gravy. Dallas chicken is down the road, go there instead.

Staff at this place is horrible specially young boys at the counter, they see you standing trying to order so they turn around portend they didn’t see you bunch of arrogant, service is very poor

Had KFC from here a few years ago and vowed to never return. Today the chicken was tasty and tender, albeit smaller and the chips were better than before. BBQ baked beans recipe hasn’t changed fortunately, so all in all, pleasantly surprised

Stail buns dry chicken soggy chips

This is a new review as of 3/9/23 Once again I am reviewing to complain. I have not ordered kfc for 6 months and hoped It had improved. Sadly no. We called the restuarant to ask for a special on our order. we ordered the 4 piece meal twice and requested one to be light meat and the other dark. I did not want the boneless, because boneless has less flavor. the said they would do their best. Well tonight I dont eat again as their best is two orders of dark. My wife eats dark, but not eight. Hence out of money to the tune of at least 12 pounds and no dinner. Margate KFC customer service is attrocious. I Suggest if you must have kfc check out the ramsgate or broadstairs stores as they are more accommodating. As for me, I am done with KFC until such time as I go Stateside and am able to get Decent KFc. Once again I as I ended my last review I will state. My only mistake is taking them at their word. I cannot even say the food is good as I do not like the taste of dark meat poultry. This is the second time we have ordered from KFC, the first we were delivered McDonalds, the second we received only half our order. I may note it is the same person who delivered both times. when we call KFC they say contact deliveroo to get reimbused. If I wanted reimbursed I would not have ordered. I wanted to feed the hungry little ones. Thanks. Most displeased with the service and follow up. At the very least and appology, even better to send the rest of my order to me. The only MISTAKE I made was to rely on you.

Absolutely rubbish, the staff in KFC could care less.

This branch of kfc is particularly bad, the service is terrible, they consistently get the order wrong and when I raised that there was a missing item in my order the member of staff gave me a load of attitude and told me to take it up with the delivery service. Don't waste your money at this restaurant.

This is always the KFC we prefer to go to, others are often patchy or disappointing. The food here has always been better. Went in today and they were working very hard to catch up after some shortage problems, and with an influx of customers and deliveries. Courtney, who served me, was particularly amazing, just going full out and being very professional and attentive.

It was a very slow service in here but we were hungry so waited patiently

Like it, I was really unlucky one to wait around 15 minutes because the chicken finished right when I've placed my order but it was OK. One downside I can name is, people are coming there shirtless, I get we are near the beach but I don't really find that alright. Overall, staff friendly food good so I recommend this KFC to anyone who goes to margate beach.

Totally disgusted and will not be ordering delivery from here anytime in the foreseeable future! Trilogy box meal... fries over cooked, limp and almost cold, mini fillet so over heated it was too hard to even bite into and the zinger burger was rock hard outside, over cooked inside and completely tasteless... The only EDIBLE item was the popcorn chicken! More MINGING than ZINGING Maybe change the name from "Trilogy" box meal to "TRAGEDY" box meal! Worst £30 iv EVER spent on a delivery!!!

Did an online order threw deliveroo.. 4 pieces meal Two legs and two silly bits of chicken phoned up and first girl cut me off second girl very rude "if u don't like it don't order from here" u get what your given asked for her name put the phone down on me...third girl nice explained stuff but over all a waist of money and no result..manner cost nothing and I ended up with a poor meal..when ur in store and they see ur face it's so different this is the 3rd time I've had this never again...and its not the delivery guys fault 😡

Be extremely careful when ordering food via just eat. The last three times I have ordered I have specifically noted on the order to Make sure all items in the bag are accounted for and too SEAL the bag.. the bag has always arrived sealed but stuff still missing and they have the audacity to blame the driver.. how can they perfectly unpeal a sticker in a paper bag it’s impossible. So the last time this happened I went in store and approached them. So be careful everyone

1h waiting becouse they don't have corn. Another 10min becouse they don't have Tango. Rice was cold. After 45min waiting i want money back but they don't do it.

Terrible service. Unable to use self service machine. Could see they were very busy so patiently waited 15 minutes for someone to attend the till. 4 staff packing orders, I ask can someone take my order I was rudely told no. Staff clearly overworked and do not want to be there. I spoke to the female manager she aggressively said "what do you want me to do about it" with her arms flapping. I suggested put a sign to say no till orders to prevent customers waisting their time. The manager walk off. We then walked out without ordering and many customers followed. Terrible service!

Absolute joke ordered a 10 piece bucket on just eat, I received 4 pieces of chicken this cost me almost £25.00 with 2 chips a one side, the member of staff was useless bet they scam people most of the time, then blame it on just eat

I was waiting with my boyfriend for about 10 minutes, I had even gone to the toilet and came back and he hadn’t been served, and then say something about the service under my breath, as I’m not one to cause anything, but the boy at the counter rudely said “well you can wait” and when I said that we had been he said “wait longer then” I am five months pregnant, and his unnecessary comments where not needed

Slow service from staff who didn't want to be there rubbish food. Drinks served in wrong cups rubbish everywhere this place should be closed down.

I didn't enjoy the food very much. Burger king is better. Slight mix up with the drinks, but they obliged to correct that. Very slow to deliver. I feel sorry for the staff. I don't think they are happy and they look overworked. Can the manager please give them some extra holidays? Or a salary raise?

The service was great and the food was alright.

I was not happy at all, I ordered online and chose to collect. Checked in and it said my order was being prepared, 2-3 minutes. 25 minutes later I left with my order. I have no complaints about the staff they were very polite and apologetic, the delivery services, just eat etc have priority. People complain they take too long and cold when arriving, at least mine was hot, very poor systems.

My local KFC near work, ordered my food, Gravy mega box and a drink. Was served very quickly and with a friendly smile. The only down side was the chicken was a little dry and no spoons in the bag which is always awkward when you have gravy.

The stuff isn't that enthusistic at work but friendly. Vompaired to other KFC is this one really clean and the food actually smells like it is not from the day before.

I enjoy a kids meal £3 small chicken burger ,chips, Sprite,pineapple stick eat it in the car after I finish work 👍
