KFC Manchester - The Trafford Centre in Trafford

Poor quality cold chicken, tiny portions and very rude staff. We bought our meal around 19:10 today (4/9/24), very rude lady in a hijab gave my friend a dirty look for no reason, a real evil stare it was. I wanted to get her name but she had her scarf covering her name tag. The food was really poor quality, small portions and cold. I really don’t know why people go here it’s not good food.

The worst customer service ever seen

Gravy was tasteless and watery, chips were soggy on the plus side at least the chicken was hot.

KFC just hits different, the women at the counter was so nice , the line was really busy but only waited like 3 minutes.

So I was abit skeptical after reading all the bad reviews but was walking past and thought I have to give it a try and I can honestly say my food I ordered was hot, flavoursome and a good portion, had the boneless banquet and dipped bites, no issues whatsoever but I suppose in busy times quality of food can drop but for me on this particular day, I have no complaints 😀

Not going to this particular store anymore. Went with family. We ordered 12 pieces of boneless chicken feast . Chicken was tasteless, sweet corn looks like been there for an ages, chips even didn’t taste like chips. More than half of the food gone to bin as I was almost sick. Will never recommend anyone going to this particular store.

Normally fine but today wasn’t, the staff are rude and food was cold, got given the wrong order too, ordered four burgers and a sprite and got given three burgers and a water.

HONEY I SHRUNK THE BURGER, OH SORRY THE ENTIRE MEAL!!! I'm still sat here in shock. The pics show a huge burger for zinger tower meal, I was worried I will not finish it. But It was a few bites!!! Chicken popcorns in trilogy box meal were so tiny I was not quite sure what they were. Let's not describe the rest. I mean how are they allowed to do this??? Is there no one who overlooks this. How many more 1 stars do they require? I spent nearly £30 and that's a total waste.

Delicious food , less waiting time despite of long queue… active service

One star is generous. Hala was particularly rude. The staff did not explain that the krushem machine was not working so i waited for ages to receive my wrap and krushem. They then proceeded to tell me the krushem machine isnt working after i had already paid for it. I then explained i wasnt bothered about the krushem and just asked for my wrap. The staff were extremely rude and dismissive and after me offering to pay again for my food, after THEIR error, they told me i would have to rejoin the back of a long queue. Disgusting

Took 15 minutes for food, came cold and with half of someone else’s order. Gave the wrong drinks and freezing cold food. Staff all rude and many people were asking for their order to be sorted as it was wrong.

i was served by a lovely member of staff this evening, katelynn (apologies if the spelling is incorrect - i’ve managed to lose the receipt!) who was wonderful to chat to, very helpful and efficient. thank you for making my evening lovelier :)

I normally enjoy KFC but they have radically changed their recipe. All the food was far too salty.

Disgusting food and presentation I ordered stuffed tower burger box meal 10:49 Christmas special halal it was the worst experience ever in kfc it was like frozen 2 small chicken breast pieces with slice of cheese and veggies with smal half of bun just packed in the box they didnt even bother to heat or stuffed it . I had know choice but to bin it . I regret to spend 10.49 gbp on it which only brought anger to me .. It's worst kfc stall ever visited. Dated 24/11/23

The service was at poorly on the stuff was very rude especially manager and they forgot to put my chicken wings and they thought I was telling them fibs but which I wasn't I was showing them receipt you forgot to put the Wings so I phoned up and they forgot to put the reference number who was in my fault and they made me wait Mark 25 minutes they asked me so many questions look like intimidating I will never go back there again

Always wrong order, i always try to remind the staff to make sure the order is correct. But still its always wrong, missing food

The service provided is absolutely pathetic ! My NHS discount was requested to be applied, they claimed they did it and yet it was never actually applied! I only realised this when I got home. The biggest issue occurred when the variety bucket was ordered, and a simple request was made to ensure its variety. Despite explicitly asking the manager to double-check, I was still given a measly assortment of 7 drums, 2 wings, and 1 thigh. Absolutely unacceptable the worst KFC.

Avoid 100% Disgusting behaviour by the staff. Very rude. The area manager should look in to this. My wife was in the queue at 9.40 pm and she was told its closed now, no more orders. I went to the bathroom when I came back 2 others were getting served and my wife was not in the queue anymore so I asked the guy you still serving and he go no more, this guys is the last one and then he let's another friend of his go as well this was at 9.47pm, while I stand there. I called my wife over and asked what happened she explained. So I went back with my wife to the counter, the lady over the counter says "NO NO NO MORE WE ARE CLOSED". I said to her thanks but we don't want any food from you guys now but just want to let you know that your staff and you are saying no more but still serving others. She had no ans why she was serving the others and said "HAVE A GOOD DAY" With a very rude tone. Very disappointed with the service. No harm is saying speaking to customers politely. Would highly recommend someone at a higher position looking in to this. One of the worst place to eat food on this planet ,the quality was the worst one than any other fastfood in entire Manchester. The food was cold, discusting not worthy according to price. This kfc is black spot on name of food, shame on them

I ordered a Twister Wrap Meal, on the picture above the counter it showed the wrap having lettuce, however it came with no lettuce. When I told this to the server who gave me the food, he practically ignored me and muttered “that’s just how it is”. Definitely not coming again.

Ordered 10 wings. Got given 6. Loads of people returning due to missing bits in their order or entirely wrong orders. Missing sauces which we paid for. It's always so busy so it's difficult to go back and complain/ask for missing things in order. Only realised when we'd already had half of the meal... They really need to have a chat with their kitchen staff and work out a way to ensure orders are complete.

I ordered online and had to wait for just a few minutes to get my food. However, the staff forgot to add my drink, cups and straws which I didn’t realize until I had sat down and opened the bag of food…had to go back to get them.The food was good.

Amazing service from Sufyan, saved me £20 by showing me the double diner deal, 5 star service. Don’t get that much these days.

Always spot on when I go here ,I normally go here but today I opted for a jacket potatoe from the place next to them.

The worst KFC outlet I have ever been to, I ordered family pack, the order was delivered within 1-2 mins, fried chicken was cold and not at all crispy and tested salty. Was disappointed

Worst staff.. the staff doesn't even know what they are selling what the prices are... The customer comes up tries to decide what they can get and asks staff what deal they have for bucket or what is a tower burger? The staff is blank saying only yes no. Ammm.. crazy how KFC hires staff with zero knowledge and give them zero training and put them in their busiest branch... Great keep doing that. Would never decide to eat there...

KFC App promo code and offers, been deliberately turned off.within the App. The general public have to pay full wack at weekends when they are most likely the busiest time of the week Friday and Saturday evenings and nights. 1st observed this on Friday evening about 6 weeks ago, then I have been checking through out the past 6 weeks at different outlets in West Yorkshire and they do turn off Mobile Order at Weekends. My friend runs an inpendenet Sandwich shop and he turns off mobile ordering when he can't cope with the orders. KFC App has all these discounted offers and they seem to turn off the KFC App when people are most likely want to order or take advantage of these offers. KFC promote and advertise these on Email, app notifications, in-store adverts etc but then resort to Bad Business Practices and leave the British public paying full price. This needs pointing out to ADVERTISING STANDARDS AGENCY this must break there rules, maybe mystery shopper should be send out to outlets and Report Back to KFC UK head office to sort out these issues. Or they maybe aware of this business practice but please put an end to this. If KFC outlets are deliberately doing this then they should be ashamed of themselves, at a time when family's are looking to save money, WHEN THERE IS A IS A COST OF LIVING CRISIS. I challenged anstaff member on this saying this is only ever turned off at weekends, and all the staff looked at me and chuckle under there breath. PS: if any customer observes this happening in any other KFC outlets , please post your own review. This is a genuine retail customer who has purchased from this establishment in the past.

If you want to use codes from the KFC app, avoid. Great offers on right now that they purposely don’t let you use. The staff have no manners on top of that.

The app discount never works over there

By far the most aids kfc ive ever been to i got no response from Atia whilst ordering although i did get a look of disgust when i told her i wanted 4 fillets and not 3 on my boneless box meal for one, but wait thats not the end l, you should have seen her when i said i wanted to upgrade to large, the look was similar to that of someone who had just had there children slaughtered infront of them. On top of that no gravy

We had a big order of £54 for about 8 people, and they messed up the order by missing out a drink, and when we asked for chicken strips and wings, they gave us 2 burnt oily thighs instead! Waiting time was really long, poor service probably the worst KFC branch but the rest of the food was alright

This is the WORST KFC branch i have ever been to. Please Avoid. I was waiting 30 minutes for my order, when i asked a member of staff where my food was, she replied it must of been given to someone else. I then waited another 10 minutes for my order. I then found a table to eat at, only to find my gravy was missing! The food wasnt even hot, and was dissapointing. I did not enjoy my meal or my experience at this branch, and will be giving my business to another food outlet in the future.

Good food, friendly price and staff. Great taste

If you are expecting a hot fired chicken, this is not a right place not at busy times at least. Too busy on weekends, don't know about week days. Stale looking fries, small quantity and cold chicken suitable only to beat hunger but not to enjoy.

My mum and I went here yesterday and both of us ended up with food poisoning.

One of the servers, a brunette woman called Emma was very rude and had a really poor attitude. She definitely needs some lessons in customer service and how to speak to people as manners don’t cost a thing.

Food was fine, the person that serves us was excellent and got us to spend so much more than we intended on doing, so bravo on the upselling! However it took ages for the food. The restiwas empty and it took 20 minutes for the food to arrive!

Waste of time, continually have items missing from order

I would rate it a 0,food was terrible and expensive .The only good thing was the drinks and the staff were fairly polite.

Alway not good!! Chips - not editable, seems fried in old used oil! Chicken - obvious not been prepared carefully, very different than other branches, my be the recipe not followed carefully or the cooking oil used several times and old!! Unsure but not good enough! Now I stopped buying kfc from this branch!

I am writing to say that I had a mediocre experience Today. First, the food took ages because the mall food court was already busy to start with and then when I got my food, they were missing one thing off of it. Surprised they didn’t forget gravy. Very unhappy as at other kfc stores, it was always perfect until this visit today. Food was nice as usual but don’t recommend at this location. I suggest visiting another kfc if I was you.

Absolute discrace, went to kfc on Friday evening, staff were rude, there were about 5 staff stood talking and laughing whilst peoples food were sat there going cold. I asked for a krushem and I was told they stop at 9, however it was 9:02 and whilst we were waiting for our food, (which took 20 minutes, because they were all stood laughing together) they were serving krushems to other customers and also gave someone a free one right in front of me. Shocking.

Well, the first signs of good customer service are to get the order right! So, a box meal that includes a piece of chicken should have chicken! Get the basics right guys!

The important thing is that it is halal meat here. we love KFC and enjoed it very much. it was tasty and good

It's a KFC so you'll already know what to expect. Here they serve the vegan burger and cook them to order so you know its fresh. Staff friendly polite and efficient. There was a couple of issues - missing item and one burger wrong, but they were happy to fix quickly and efficiently. In fairness it was black Friday and really rather busy in there.

Order was wrong other than that food was ok

Terrible service the staff member serving us was constantly coughing and then got the order wrong when we took it back they had a really bad attitude saying it was right which it obviously wasn't, it took over 15 minutes thought it was supposed to be fast service. Very disappointing! Will not be visiting this KFC again.

Ordered food and was stood waiting for 20 minutes. I noticed about 5 minutes after we ordered one of the employees put our fries and mash on the counter. They left these on the counter for 15 minutes, so I told them I wanted new fries and mash as they were cold. Both the manager and employee were rude and did not understand why I refused to accept food that was cold. How can they expect us to pay for cold food? Also, it is supposed to be fast food, so why make a customer wait for over 20 minutes? Absolutely terrible service and will never order from them again.

Order children's mini fillet burger meal at 7.51pm tonight, 30 minutes later still waiting, had to complain and bring out the manager, got the food shortly after with an apology, no offer of reimbursement which is what I asked for. Kept toddler waiting over 30 minutes for a simple burger, ridiculous. Avoid. Whilst waiting for the food, lots of people returning with receipts and orders that were wrong. Should have gone to McDonald's next door.

Great restaurant but very difficult to find a table due to a large seating area being closed off. Cost saving, no doubt!

Really bad service, In went to go get a Plain rice box without all the salad and sauce because my grandmas allergic they bring it with all of the stuff on it. I went to specifically order a zinger burger box and they got me a meal and my grandad bought a fillet box and they forgot his corn on the cob Never ever go here and just get the McDonalds next door!

They told us they wasn't doing kids meals.. but after 5 mins of arguing they said they do kids meals but haven't got any yogurt lol 🙄

The Trafford Centre branch is usually very busy. However, the staff remain calm and friendly in providing great customer service in a timely manner.

Had first experience of a veggie burger was very disappointed with the size.

Absolute joke.... ordered food at mid day on just eat turned up freezing cold at 15.40.. extremely poor effort.. keep that up and no doubt another food establishment going down the pan!!

Really busy most of the time but good food

Firstly cashier was terrible, didn't understand a thing we were saying. The once we ordered our food and travelled back home which is almost 10miles away we found out that all the gravy had flooded and half our food was missing!!!!! So we called the manager and he didn't seem too bothered, he just said if we travelled back 10miles he would give us the rest of our order aNd nothing else. Terrible service would not recommend, ALWAYS CHECK FOOD BEFORE GOING.

We had 3 meals 2 were perfectly cooked but my daughter one was not cooked properly Took it back to them they apologise and gave me another burger My daughter had couple of bite same thing went back again to get a full refund

One of the nicest looking shopping centres in UK

I'm a fairly regular customer at this KFC but today (8/3/2020) I stood waiting to be served for several minutes only to be completely ignored by staff! I ended up leaving and going to McDonald's instead. Terrible service KFC!!

Very busy and although plenty of staff, still struggled to cope. Set up for queues poor adding to confusion.
