This is the complaint about the food offered on 5th of April 2024 in KFC 60 Fleet St, Temple, London. Part of the meal was heavily bad, I assume it was the gravy. Half an hour after lunch I suffered from stomache pain and a sudden but severe diarrhea. The only luck I had was that a at that moment a library/coffee shop with public toilet was nearby. I tried to solve the issue with KFC directly but unfortunately the submission of the complaint via their dedicated web page was not successful neither with Firefox, Edge nor Chrome as browser, so I decide to put my complaint here, awaiting a solution.

The food came quick because i got 6 pieces of lettuce and a fart of mayonnaise with 10 grams of chicken fillet and a BURNT bun! I almost gave them a burnt BUM!

I was with my klass by this KFC and the KFC was to small you couldn’t set you down cause everything was full they had 4 seats and we were 29 people. The next time we will go to MC Donald’s.

Great value for money at KFC. The menu has a good variety, and the food is consistently good. The staff here are always polite and efficient.

This kfc branch has staff who dont know how to work the till when someone like myself who is paying with cash had to wait 4mins more than I should have to pay for my food with cash ridiculous

Chicken was nice but just the chips absolutely rank wasn’t helped with the fact it was sitting there for a while which could clearly be seen. Struggled with an ordered for four have to say maybe give this one a miss probably better if drunk

Too spicy this seems like a cover, they had no water or place to sit, only four seats and no bathroom, this should be prohibited by the public health of the United Kingdom, apart from the door does not close and the cold enters the establishment, they do not give tickets in the machine

I removed lettuce when I ordered but when I get my order I can still find traces of lettuce in my burger what they have done they served me already ready burger what they maked before they tried to remove lettuce from it it was cold I complained at order desk they refused to do anything plus if you want to dine in you have to clean your table by yourself as staff is too busy in chatting and using their phones terrible experience never seen that dirty kfc in my life

The KFC is severely understaffed. No matter whether you order takeaway or in-house, you always get a to-go bag. The waiting times are long considering that the restaurant is empty. However, everything is freshly prepared.

No space to sit and take ages to make an order ready.

Food I'd purchased was freshly cooked. Staff were friendly. The branch itself was clean and tidy. Only downside was lack of seating but completely understand why given the area and size of the branch overall. Would have been nice for a public toilet for customer use.

Seems like the restaurant is more concerned with saving on labour. They are always understaffed and wait time always exceed 10 minutes during lunch hours. Only one person taking orders and preparing meals and one person in the kitchen. A real shame because the food is great and the restaurant is very well kept. Once the orders can get out quicker it will definitely deserve a 5star review. So if you don’t mind an awfully long wait time and aren’t struck for time this shouldn’t b a bother to u at all

I thought I'd treat myself for KFC for lunch what a mistake that was. I ordered 2 piece classic chicken with coleslaw and gravy side. Then a Filet Burger meal for a friend. I received a burger meal with corn on the cob and a gravy and drink. Walked back to the shop to complain my order was incorrect. I was just given two pieces of chicken. I told the waiter that wasn't acceptable as the rest of the order is now cold so could they do the order from scratch. Anyway here is what I received, a Filet Burger Meal, a piece of chicken, two hot wings, popcorn chicken. No coleslaw or gravy in site. So come to the conclusion place your order and we chuck any ole thing in. Absolute waste of time and money. Will never go there again. :-(. Also noted others complaining that their orders were either missing items or completely wrong so totally incompetent.

Ordered online to arrive and NO CHICKEN! Staff disinterested and slow. Still taking orders then telling people no chicken for at least 20 minutes. Busy location in the city, you'd think they would always have food ready. Worst KFC in the UK.

We went today at 3pm. The cashier is very kindly, great service. The place is a bit small.

Wir mussten 20 min auf unser essen warten und zudem konnten wir nicht an den dafür gedachten Sitzgelegenheiten warten, da dort alles von essenden Leuten belegt war, obwohl das Essen dort nicht erwünscht ist. Die Mitarbeiter interessieren sich allerdings auch nicht dafür. Wir würden diesen KFC nicht weiterempfehlen.

Paid a meal with coffee (extra price) at the order station only to be told there's no coffee, have a soft drink instead. Chicken fillet tasted like it was made several hours ago. From the outside it appears to suggest stairs going down to possible customer seating in the basement, but alas it's for employees only. Upstairs window seating for four people at most. No toilet... Overall, terrible experience.

Expect a very long wait… if your male, bring a razor, because you’ll need a shave when you exit.

Food is as usual there, nothing special. But we were very disappointed as the place is tiny. We were so cold and tired, had 3 kids with us, but the place do not have any tables to sit. Only a bar type with 4 tall chairs. It also says free WiFi and charging available. I did not check the WiFi but I asked the staff about free charging and they said it is not really available. The door does not close properly too so we ate with the wind blowing off our food from that bar table. So in conclusion, if you are looking for a shelter from wind and rain, or are really tired from walking all over London this place is not for you. Great for takeaways though. Staff is friendly too.

I bought zinger stacker meal from Fleet Street burger box was mouldy . I guess package get wet and dried about that babe one mouldy.

The touch point machine would not accept app QR code for offers, nobody serve at the counter neither... ended up going for a chicken wrap across the road…

It's a small KFC but that's not what knocks it down. It's very clear the place is understaffed and those who work there are expected to pick up the slack. My order was forgotten while I was there and I had to chase it up at the front counter. Turns out there was only two people working the entire front of house and kitchen, with another downstairs frying more chicken. The staff were lovely about the whole situation but when they're only two people attempting to fulfill a Friday night's worth of orders, things are bound to slip through the cracks. Has the potential to be a good KFC if there was better staff management.

Terrible slow service and the ordering machines all went crazy took various people's money without processing the order and staff said dont worry as it wont come out of the bank to everyone and i checked and they have taken the monies... absolutely Terrible 💯

The slowest fast food branch I have been to. Simple meal set takes 10-20 minutes to prepare, and that is not in rush hours. It almost feels like they are trying to hatch and grow the chickens.

I use to go here quite often, but the staff always seem pretty miserable and the gravy has been terrible on the last couple of occasions. Its always very watery now.

I bought gravy mega box, 4 boneless fillet dip meals,BBQ bites and 8 wings. Gravy mega box no gravy Eventhought it was 4pm so they gave me mash instead which was awful, wings where tasteless and cold as well as the the strips. At least the chicken had some flavour. 4 boneless strips where the same cold and tasteless and chips were overcooked. BBQ bites were fresh and hot and was the only thing that was enjoyable. Lastly wings were same cold/tasteless. I waited for 15 mins for my order to get prepared and I was the only one there. I have been to alot of KFC in London and this place by far was the worst KFC place I have ever went and would not recommend going to this one instead to go to either in Whitechapel or Trafalgar Square one which is 2 stops away.

Most definitely not "fast" food. At lunchtimes they appear to have only three members of staff in total, resulting in waiting twenty minutes just for one wrap.

Tiny little KFC. Obviously geared for takeaway but there is seating for three. Pretty awful during the lunchtime rush - the staff do their best but the location is terribly understaffed. There is generally only one person in front of house packing orders, and two or three cooks in the back. Bins overflowing because they don't have time to empty them. It's ok when it's less busy.

I just been to KFC, and I have waited 30 minutes to take my order. I thought KFC was a FAST food. Would have probably been faster in a restaurant.

Took 30mins to get a simple receipt for my food... Need a receipt to claim expenses. This happens all to regularly at this store. Would be nice to have the soft drinks filled to the top of the cup too.

I went there at 17:30. Staff was excellent and they guy taking order Subbu,has been great even if I've been bit rude with him. Sorry for him, he absolutely deserves the best

Absolutely shame to leave just one server inside the shop. This guy has to take order and make.ot ready all by himself. While i can say this guy was very kind,polite,skilled,and available in every my question,i can not say the say about the company. I would have understand if it was a local shop run by families or a small business but KFC letting just one server inside shop and not paying another one it's completely shame. 5 stars to the guy who was working very nicely, shame on KFC.

This place is fastfood. You can go there alone. You can go there whit your girlfriend. You can go there whit your girlfriend, buy her a bucket of hotwings and then go out whit your girlfriend. I use to always go to KFC on Fleet Street, but will not visit KFC anymore I guess, as this time went to pick up my takeaway, had my puppy pooch with me, and a member of the staff, very rudely said I should leave my dog out and not get my puppy again. Don’t understand how could he say it. As it was only a quick collection point. There is away to say something, specially when it’s your client.

Was busy at the time. Very small. One person packing and serving customers. Can be overwhelming with large orders. Food quality was great. Hot tasty fries.

Worst KFC in England. One member of staff does not have enough time... Not fair on her, or the customer. No greetings; no time to put salt on fries; and no salt, condiments, serviettes or cleanup wipes in my bag. No happiness. Serving staff rushed off her feet. Even the Securicor man had to go away without collecting the cash, saying it would cost to come back tomorrow. Greedy management, purloining lunchtime goodwill from everyone on Fleet Street! The multiple-star reviews are presumably forged by somebody responsible for setting up this shop, to make it sound like it operates with humane working conditions, when you can see it does not. Helps one give up fast food anyway.

Everything you expect from a KFC for its chicken. Unfortunately, the fries and slaw were different and not as good.

I had previously given 2 stars for only having certain items if I order via ubereats instead of in store. this time 1 star as doesn't go any lower. Come in to order chicken, was asked what I was going to order and warned that they might not have it.. I said I want their chicken bucket and was told they only have chicken fillets. As I stood deciding what I wanted instead I witnessed the person at the counter screaming at the chef, swearing under her breath and complaining out loud as she went to check something downstairs, she then started telling the chef to come out front and co trolley the screen for her, in this time I also witnessed her speaking quite rudely to a young delivery driver who was there to collect some food, he seemed to be very patient about it but clearly a little concerned. After hearing the f word for the 2nd time while deciding what I wanted to order I decided to leave as It seemed like the member of staff behind the counter was having a breakdown and I diddnt want to add any more to her workload or stress for her to take out on her team again. It seems this venue requires a manager or a member of staff with some supervisory experience thatbis able to keep a calm head under pressure and has the ability to remain professional and within the law when consulting their team.

Our box was extremely dry and fries from order week before 🤣🤣🤣. Maybe next time (in busy time) we get something fresh cooked Happends

Feels like this branch is a level above others. The only branch that has not forget my dips, asks if I needed more sauce, keeping me update on ETA of my orders. Great service :)

We rarely go to KFC, but being Sunday night there were no many choices. We had rice box and it was much nicer than other KFC we tried in the past years. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Also we did feel safe enough as the staff was wearing mask.

Took 20 mins for my order to come out. They were apologetic however.

Very bad service. I ordered the food but then the staff didn't cook the food. After a long time, they came and told me that the order would be late. I asked for the refund because I was very dissatisfied with their service. However the manager just stayed in the kitchen and didn't want to give the refund back. Only when I asked for the refund many times, the manager gave me the refund with no apology.

Small footprint means you could never "eat in". The trend to screen ordering is not welcome but it the way of the modern fast food restaurant. This branch does not offer advance offering currently.

the shop is mainly young girls who deliver the food and I see them regularly , they are very good and dedicated to us customers!! Definitely recommend, chicken is fresh and everything is fresh and nice! And they always recommend me new things
