i went here a while back alone had a okay time food was good but all the kids from the high school was been very loud and disturbing the peace also one of the workers (i cant remember her name) had sex with me in the back office

What a midden the place was today tables needed wiped down floors not been touched and not busy either , seen two couples come in wipe down own tables whilst staff watched and floors overall disgusting

1 star is too generous for this kfc. Unfortunately it wouldn’t let me select 0 stars. We were charged almost £20 for bbq bites. 3 chicken selects, “zinger” burger and a large drink which is ridiculous. The “zinger” burger had no spice at all hence the quotation marks. The bun was stale. The boneless chicken tenders were cold. The drink was flat and warm. An all round terrible experience which has ruined our lunch. Highly do not recommend this terrible establishment.

Food was hot, staff were lovely, fresh as always and honestly will be back best KFC in Scotland. Staff are always willing to help when needed

I had the mighty bucket for 1 fries were nice however some of the chicken had red still in it not cooked enough! Next day feeling sick and upset tummy! I certainly won't be having a KFC from there again.

Popped into the restaurant for a quick bite to eat, not very busy. Service was prompt. All was fine until I sat down. Very difficult to find a clean table. Also the floor is in need of a good clean, food debris,paper,straws and drink spillage required to be cleaned up.. Not a good advert for kfc.

Popped in for quick lunch, food was standard but omg that place needs a good clean !Had difficulty finding a table and seat that wasn't covered in salt ,crumbs and chips downstairs .Upstairs the stairs all the way up were sticky,dusty and chips lying .Someone had washed the floor? Wet floor sign there but again tables,seats and windows dirty .Surely you would do them first floor last? Had paid for the food but won't rush back .Makes me wonder how clean the kitchen is ! By the way I visited just before 12.00 so suspect all the mess had been there for a while

Ordered food for delivery. Food was delivered within 30 minutes but was almost cold. As for 6 piece bargain bucket, 5 of the pieces were drumsticks with the sixth a thigh. Overall a very poor experience with absolutely no chance I will ever repeat it.

What can I say - chips cold : chicken limp : coke as flat as a pancake : no salt : asked for mayonnaise - given garlic mayonnaise : staff disinterested. Will definitely never be back.

Horrendous. Missed half the order! Went to self serve, to sit in with my daughter, waited 20 mins in what was a quiet time? Apart from all the Deliveroo/just eat drivers taking up all the tables waiting that we could not get a seat. All in all on was disgusting. Place was filthy! The toilets are a shambles, beed burning to the ground! Would be the only hygienic thing for them! Avoid this dump at all costs, there is a Sainsbury’s across the road, go get a meal deal! You will save £15 and feel more satisfied. Or, go eat out the bin somewere, as that will be better than this 👍

Popped in with my daughter as we were up this way and were starving. The emptiness of the place should have told us everything. We ordered at the self serve and it wasn’t until waiting for our order we took in how empty it was but despite it being empty the tables and floor was filthy. The staff couldn’t have been less interested in serving us or the state of the place. After our food which was actually decent we went to use the toilet. Had we gone there first it’s safe to say we wouldn’t have eaten anything there. Full of grime and fluff everywhere. Just bogging! Needs closed or the staff need a lesson in customer service and basic hygiene. Yuck! Felt dirty walking out the place.

Me and my partner got home and realised we had a issue with our order, so we called the restaurant Joao answered the call and he was extremely invested in resolving the problem swiftly, professionally and he was super kind, he was helpful and understanding we drove back too the restaurant and there I met Joao he was as helpful as he was on the phone, he didn't just pass my problem off as trivial or insignificant he delt with it with the upmost respect and the regards of me the customer/consumer he was extremely apologetic, I have extreme anxiety in these situations especially face too face but he made me feel at ease and that I wasnt being a pain in the neck Thank you Joao for your help your an asset to this establishment!!!

Literally always slow and you never get the correct order despite paying for it. Do not recommend, just go somewhere else or make your own food. It’s less stressful than going here. The staff are never interested either and normally have arguments with each other in front of the customers. I hate to think how hygienic their kitchen is if this is how their staff behave.

My husband and 2 children visited this place this afternoon. My daughter noticed a fly in her drink, and went to request a replacement. The customer service agent who dealt with her was rude and unprofessional. She basically brushed my daughter off. Mid meal, a replacement was provided - left on the counter. Surely, in the interest of good customer service it’s not much to walk across to the table and serve the customer? My husband was spoken to by the manager. My husband reiterated that he understood that this type of thing does happen, but it’s good customer service to bring a replacement to the paying customer. My husband was given a half hearted apology. Overall, the place was dirty - cobwebs on the ceiling, dirty tables, and generally poor attitude from the staff. I highly recommend you do not visit this establishment. We won’t be back.

Only people in the place no other orders on the board and they still can't get it right. How hard must it be to check what you're putting in the bag. Check your orders before you leave !!

Sat 30mins in a queue at the drive thru, food disgusting warmest thing was the Pepsi. Been feeling ill since won’t be back avoid at all costs

Aware coccus is still here , went on Thursday night to eat in , no one on ground floor only a couple upstairs , notice on door stating takeaway only , more staff than customers , staff laughing because we walked away . Disgusting customer service , will never be back . My advice use McD lot better

Awful customer service. We didn’t receive cups, or plates, or napkins. They did however give us straws and from what I saw, 1 out 4 is an achievement for them. Three times I had to ask for the above. THREE TIMES I had to say the simple sentence “can I please have 3 cups, plates and some napkins”, she looked at me as if I was asking the meaning of life. I’m not sure if it was a language barrier, which in itself is ridiculous when you’re working with the public, or if the collective IQ is in single digits but my god that exchange was painful.

Went in for a late night munch with my partner and 2 pals. Got served off a guy called gregg. Lovely service got good banter. Kamil was helping him pack our orders. Smiles all round

staff a total joke , walk away when taking your order to deal with uber order drivers, pretend they dont understand you whe you want to complain , no manager on site ( convient) when you ask to speak to one . food tasteless and cold , and resturant filthy . toilets overflowing with rubbish and look like they have not been cleaned for a week . most of the staff have uniforms that could do with a good wash , or get thrown in the bin. had to get wipes from the counter and clean the table ourselves as it was filthy . has to be the worst kfc it has ever been my missfortune to visit.

Zinger was pathetic, overcooked and small in size, also the festive fries were awful. Waiting time was ok, popcorn chicken was as normal. Everything else was disappointing.

Took my son for a drive through on Saturday lunchtime. My son likes the Allstar box meal, I ordered 3 piece boneless meal. How difficult is that?.. well if you're the "Manager" at KFC Livingston then it obviously is. What we got was a couple of packs off fries tossed into a bag, a wrap and my boneless chicken on top of that! NO popcorn chicken or BOX.. for the Allstar BOX. The clue is in the name!. I took it back and asked for the manager. The Manager, who had no visible customer service skills, informed me he had packed my order and he "doesn't do the box" You couldn't make it up!. If he is KFC's idea off managerial material this is a major worry. If he does his own thing when it comes to packing food, which is the basic premise off fast food what other corners does he cut? I think because I was a drive through he assumed I would not come back. As a sweetener he told me, rather condescendingly that he had put a large fries in for my trouble.. he put a large fries packet with 6 fries in it into the bag. Absolutely disgusting service from a Manager who you had to see to believe.. and not in a good way.

man called “Jamie” was very rude to me and my friend while serving us. and again when i went back to ask for my dip which he didn’t give us in the first place. not happy foods good though

We decided to grab something to eat on the way back to Edinburgh, after exploring the Mall at Livingston. The place looked impressive from the outside however inside was a different matter.We used the self service machines to place our order, then when the order arrived we found items were missing and we kept having to ask for these at the counter, (No popcorn chicken with Boneless Banquet Meal, No requested sauces). I also noticed Drive-Thru customers coming in with similar issues, and the staff clueless as to what to do about it!.The Iced Tea was DISGUSTING, it tasted of chlorinated water with a hint of lemon. I chose Cherry Coke instead as a replacement which was a lot better. Food wise, the Chicken Strips were over salted and could not finished the rest of the meal.I very rarely give 2* reviews but sadly I can't recommend this KFC, I would suggest trying the one at Straiton instead or maybe one of the Food Outlets in Livingston Mall

Where do i start? No smile or friendly greet from the member of staff. I got the impression she didn't want to be there. Got my order and sat down. The place was desserted which i felt a bit strange. Although when i sat down i noticed they were more food on the floor than what was on my tray. This is shocking considering its a food place. It should be spotless. I can't understand that the staff are just hanging about instead of taking pride in their work place. The food was ok but the pepsi max cherry was vile. It certainly had no taste to it. I did drink it cos it was cold but only half of it. I couldn't wait to get in the car and use my antiseptic wipes. Would i return - NO.

They are totally incompetent. My last 3 orders have been missing the dips despite me adding a note asking them to remember the dips. Just eat refunded me 80p. Disgusted

Not a place we visit regularly but on a recent occasion my wife and I had lunch in here and it was excellent. The food is great, service good, the restaurant was immaculate a great place to visit.

I went to KFC today for a quick lunch before heading home and was greeted with some of the worst service I have ever experienced. As soon as I walked in it was obvious that the people behind the till did not have English as their first language as they were speaking in a foreign language loudly, which I do not find to be professional in a working environment. I ordered my food on the order screens rather than going to the counter as I usually do as I find it easier to do when choosing my food. When my meal was called there was initial confusion between two of the employees as there were two meals which were identical. After several minutes the two members of staff realised this was simply because two of the same orders were placed by myself and someone else, I was pushed one of the trays which I instantly realised was missing more than one of the items. I ordered a large boneless banquet (boneless fillets, popcorn chicken and chips) with two hot wings and a large tango, although the tango and chips were missing from my tray. After telling the woman behind the till she had missed these items, she placed a box of small chips on my tray and grunted at me as if it was some kind of inconvenience to her. When I tried to tell her that I had payed for a large and she had given me a small there was an obvious language barrier as she didn't understand what I meant. After looking at the receipt and realising what I meant she swapped them for a large and then placed a small coke on my tray. I then proceeded to point out I had ordered a Tango and she swapped it out for a small again, when once again I had paid for the large. By this point the lady had walked away so I caught another member of staffs attention and told him that I had ordered a large and that I had been given a small and showed him my receipt. He looked at me with doubt and asked me my order number (which was clearly stated at the top of the receipt) and checked through the system, almost as if he didn't believe me. He then took the small Tango off my tray and gave me a large after giving me an awfully rude look. On my way up the stairs, the other customer who ordered the same meal as me asked me if they had mucked up my order as when she got upstairs she realised several parts of her meal were also absent, proving this was not some sort of "one off". The whole thing took so long that by the time I got to eat my food, half of it was already stone cold. I understand KFC is not some fancy restaurant, it serves simple fast food, however when paying upwards of £10 for some chicken and a drink, I at least expect to be met with what I ordered and someone who is able to speak enough English that they can take my order properly.

After recent experience at Hermiston Gate this was a very positive experience at Livingston where we were served promptly despite being busy and food arrived in good time.

Its just the same as everywhere else it seems to depend on the staff on duty at the time. I have had wrong orders from some of them however not this one. My takeaway food order was taken very politely and carefully, it was good service.. I didn't have to wait long to get my order, it was hot so no complaints. Didn't visit the loos so no idea on what they were like. It had quite a few people sitting down to eat so cannot be that bad. Yep, would go again if I am in the area.

This was by far the absolute worst kfc I have visited. Manky toilets. Poor service. Cold food. Overall rubbish Won't be going to this kfc again😡😡

The service at this KFC is bad and if you use drive through always check your order before leaving , mine has been wrong last three times and i now check everything if i go here. If you go in the serviced is slow and is it me or has the chicken pieces shrank. Thy seem to be getting smaller and smaller.

It's kind of a hit or miss with KFC, sometimes you can go and the chicken will be the best thing on the planet and other times it's just meh. Likewise with the gravy. One of the things we always loved most about KFC was the gravy but recently it's just not been the same, have you change the recipe?

Bought a family meal after a long trip home... on arrival home we tried the french fries and they were soggy wet and tasted like rotten socks... the 4 portions went straight in the bin... i tried calling the livingston branch to compalin and even a day later im still trying to call and still no reply.

I don’t know how many times I have been through this drive through and food is missing or order is wrong I suppose if you do this a lot and people don’t come back as too far away then you can make a lot more profit so I would warn all people as this seams to be done a lot maybe management encourage this to increase profit but I would advise everyone to check there meals before driving off I checked my receipt an the fries were on it but none in bag when home. This is very annoying and I can see from reviews it is done regularly!!!

Went to the Drive thru for kfc and ordered big daddy box meal and a double down. Food was good and freshly cooked. Staff were friendly and helpful. Can’t fault the place

I visited KFC Livingston after seeing their Tuesday offer on the tv on Monday, when I got there at about 4pm I was informed by a member of staff that the promotion was over, and perhaps the advert was aimed at another franchise, despite my protests it would appear the customer is always wrong again.

I adore KFC, the staff and the food has never let me down, the food is always on top form, my daughters love the popcorn chicken and I love the fully loaded meal, great location and parking is never an issue.

Chicken was cooked to perfection, they obviously have changed cooks, toilets were a let down but all staff were friendly and helpful.

You will find chicken on the menu in many variations, nothing for vegetarians, and if you don't like fizzy drinks there is water and fruit shoots or sickly ice cream drinks, this is where Mcdonalds comes in.

We were here today and the food was good. Chicken banquet for one for me and a zinger burger for my wife. Food was hot and delicioud. Toilet had a very stcky floor. Not so good. Adrianna served us and she was very good.

The service was so slow. A few staff hovering around the back, drive through seemed to take priority. Meal was as expected for KFC once received, but it took so long I almost asked for a refund.

Shut down for refurbishment a couple of months ago, BIG difference when reopened, so much cleaner looking, better service system in place and food seems to taste better too!

The restaurant is generally dirty. We use the drive through on occasion and although they're happy to take your money, they will forget to give you some items. Last time it was no chicken popcorn in a kids meal. Found out when we got home (too far to go back), complained online and got an 'assurance' that it would be fed back. Where's a refund or similar? None offered - may not be a lot of money but not what I expected. Not going back.

Clean and freindly. Fast food which is good when you don't have much time. Reasonably priced for what you get. Doors at entrance always seem to be open causing it to be quite cold.

We visited KFC as we had been shopping and were pushed for time so popped in to get some KFC and take out for home. Food was piping hot and cooked to usual high standards of KFC and staff were friendly and helpful.This is a busy take away restaurant with the Drive thru. Only KFC around do they have the monopoly of customers in the area.

Went for a takeaway only to be told no boneless chicken. This is at 6.30 on a Saturday evening. We decided on 2 bargain buckets with 4 sides and 2 bottles of Pepsi. We also asked for 2 large popcorn chicken which we did not get, we were home when we discovered this. The chicken pieces were soggy and very greasy. We have eaten in here before with no problem. You have let yourselves down badly on this occasion.

We ordered a 5-piece but only found 4 pieces when we opened the box at home! Who is enjoying all the pieces that went missing from their sales? Someone must surely be enjoying free meals. We called them up - 3 times no answer, on 4th call the person who answered could not properly speak English or spell my name, could not understand my mobile number. Seriously ... what happens on training? You need better educated people.

The young girl who served us had a horrendous looking love bite on her neck which she seemed to be happily showing off! The food was quickly served to us but wasn't the hottest. Apart from this the restraunt was clean.....Maybe clean up the staff!

We use to visit here monthly. But our last visits have always resulted in parts of our order missing. 4 times counting. I order for a family of four, so difficult to check everything that is bagged up to go.

Love Kfc in Livingston the staff are always lovely and I am a regual at this particular store and visited the other day and they have had a well needed refurbishment and it looks great and so clean.

Recent visit to the drive thru where we ordered 3 big daddy box meals. We were served swiftly and received fresh food that had just been cooked. Very tasty and well recommended.

I never sit in however my daughter insisted last month The food was average my husband wasn't even offered a fork for his beans, the worst experience was the ladies toilet OMG it was vile not just the smell I don't think it had been cleaned in a week. In the short time we were there the tables were full of rubbish the bin couldn't take any more and I did see one staff member walk straight past it all. Won't be going here again

Kfc do the chicken box for one.They also have offers on every month.Points card gets you money of meals once you have collected your points or free chicken portions.Staff friendly and helpful.The gravy is so good and love the chicken.

Everytime you come in there is different staff which speaks for its self. i askedfor a tower burger meal i got a normal. i had to ask for the wings and the juice. service horrendisouly slow. and it wasnt even that busy infact it was quite. the food was below average and was cold and tastless..

Bought tower burger meals which were cold when we went to eat them. Chicken was a little under cooked which was also a put off. Because I wasn't in a position to return them when I spoke to the manager her response was " what did I expect her to do about it"

I visited KFC on 17/1/16 to pick up two lunch boxes for my children. I went into the restaurant and asked for two lunch boxes. I also asked how much an extra piece of chicken would be in each box and was told 99p each so I ordered this too. There were three people in the restaurant at this time. When the lunch boxes arrived the girl put them into a paper bag. I specifically asked her if there were three pieces of chicken in them and she asured me there were. When my children opened the boxes at home there were only two pieces of chicken in each box and both chicken and chips were cold. I was really annoyed and called KFC to complain however I received a message telling me there was no one there to take my call. I wonder how many others have been caught out like this.

On arrival plenty free tables, of which none were clean. The staff were actually discussing how bad the place was asked for a table to be cleaned and was looked at as if I had 2 heads. I even offered to clean the table myself but was told staff would get to it. Cleanliness is a main concern of mine in a restaurant. This particular restaurant is off the scale dirty and to top it off the food was cold. I wouldn't even let the kids eat we went outside. Kids meals no toys couldn't supply half of what we asked for.

I took my 7 year old daughter and 5 year old son for dinner and we had a 10piece family meal. We started eating, my 3rd piece was smelly and stinky wing so I put to the side and didn't say anything. My daughter found another smelly piece of chicken was a breast. I put them both aside and asked for the manager to come check. The male manager came and said there was nothing wrong with the pieces. Another staff female came and said there was nothing wrong with it. I put the chicken to her nose and head went flying back because the piece was stinky but the lied. The manager accused me of putting words in my daughter's mouth. The female laughed and said, she watched a program and 3 years old and younger don't lie, my daughter was older therefore she lied. RIDICULOUS people. He offer he would give me two new piece of chicken but I was not interested. At this time we had about 5 pieces left and the manager took the box. He asked me what I wanted I said nothing, sort out the problem according to KFC policy. He was walking away with the box and I asked was happening and he said he will put it in the freezer and check. I said if he take my KFC away, he will need to refund me but he said I will not get any money back. I kept asking the manager to give my food back because I have paid for it but he refused. He walked away so he basically stole my food and I ran over and took it off him. and they accused me of assault. they called the police. I had a couple of members of the public who smell the chicken and they said it was definitely smelly. I have the KFC box IN THE FREEZER. Another couple at KFC said to contact the Food Standards and get it tested and put in a formal complaint. I was searching for what to do next really and I came across this review and see how hopeless the rating is for KFC Livingston.110% THE WORSE EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE WITH KFC FOOD AND STAFF MEMBERS. I went here looking forward to having a KFC as not had one in along time. My first issue was being called mam whilst being served as I am only a young woman and why the staff feel the need to refer to you as a mam or anything else is beyond me as it is just a fast food place.I ordered might bucket for one, the cola I got served with was filled up too much so trying to drink it without making a mess was impossible. Some of the chicken was too spicy, chips were scrappy. The tables and floors looked grubby. And the toilets were absolutely disgusting despite having cleaning signs up they are not fooling anyone as you can clearly see the place wasn't clean.Horrible place to dine in I hope this place gets shuts down is its standards are appalling.

Like the boneless banquet for one, where you get three pieces of chicken, a box of popcorn chicken, a large fries and a drink and side of your choice for £5 odd. I usually get sweet corn, but you can also get beans, gravy or coleslaw. I also like getting a plain ice. Cream Sunday and find it food quality, nice and white and not too airy so you know it's fresh. Sundaes are only 79p.

Do you employ idiots in the livingston shop, just because on of my grand kids is 2 , they don't expect her to use a plate , when I asked for an extra plate , I got told I gave 3 plates , then makes a fuss before you get an plate .If they are that bad off for plates shut your damm doors , you are not the only eatery in Livi Tables and floor messy too,Won't be back

KFC is KFC. Chicken tastes good, chips are rubbish and its pretty expensive. Always check before you leave the drive through window, because they always forget something. They do the Defence Discount. But its still more expensive than other takeaways or fast food places.

Served with a smile which always helps, helpful staff and food in a jiffy. As we were late getting back from out day out 9pm this fitted the circumstances really well.

OK, so expectations are not too high when you decide to go to KFC. Have been concerned about food hygiene at a previous visit but there appeared to be a complete change of staff.Cooked well KFC can be very tasty, this offering was exceptionally greasy and the chips were cold. Most of the food went in the bin. I noticed that some other customers seemed tone having problems with incorrect orders. Over £16 for a meal for 3, together with the poor presentation and concerns about the suspicion of poor hygiene makes this establishment worth avoiding at the moment.

Popped in on Sunday for a quick bite to eat as I have had KFCs in the past & found them OK. This was my first (& last) visit to this particular branch. Upon entry the downstairs area seemed quite smoky with a haze hanging over the seats & serving area, which suggested pretty poor extraction. The service was fine & the portion size good, although the chicken was a bit dry. We chose to eat upstairs away from the haze and I don't think I have ever come across such a soulless place. It was cold, bland & uncomfortable. It reminded me of old run down motorway cafes. Did not enjoy the experience and would definitely not go back.

The takeaway/drive through equals that of other KFC. I find this restaurant has a permanent grease film though and even though you can see that the tables have been wiped they could do with using a better degreaser or rinsing/changing their cloths more regularly.

Really old col Saunders must be realing in his bed. How can this franchise be still open. Dirty floors, unclean tables, incompetent staff and half cooked fries if you want the KFC experience go somewhere else this one should be avoided at all costs

This palce has so much potentail and that is why I am writing a negative review, in an area dominated by burgers and average local chip shops KFC could have been the stand out fast food outlet in the area, with great access to free parking and an easy drive through it could be the go to place.Whilst the staff and food are good there is always a sense that it is not very clean inside and the floors seem greasy. With a good scrub it could be amazing

I ordered a pop corn chicken snack box, got half way through it and found a black hair! I was asked if wanted more food, as if you would! I had to ask for my money back.

Took my two Kids for a treat the restaurant was freezing, food not child friendly and restaurant is the same stools and seats which are no good for smaller kids to sit on and eat, staff didn't know what they had to sell took 3 people to get the order correct. Won't be back

Service in restaurant slow. Food cold. Quality of chicken is one of the worst I have ever seen. Restaurant very dirty. Definitely will never darken the door of this dump again KFC seriously need to send in some under cover staff. Then shut the place.

Food and service was terrible , the tables and floors needed cleaned , when I asked for the table to be cleaned I was told I'd need to wait, I had 2 children with me so I had no choice but to leave couldn't risk getting food poisoning
