Delicious food and helpful staff.

Avoid this place. There are kids inside this place who don't alow you to order foods. Even employee see this but they won't allow us to order through counter. Ask to order through the machine, but kids will come and forcefully add food. Better to avoid this place.

The food was tasty and fresh. The chicken was crispy and well-cooked, and the service was quick. A good spot for a fast and satisfying meal

Today I went to a KFC for the first time. In Edinburgh I didn't really notice much difference between McDonald's and Burger King. But I'm not a big fan of fast food either. Of course, when things have to go quickly, it comes in handy.

We ordered a zinger rice bowl and the quantity was not even enough for one plus the presentation was the worst. Told the staff and they were like "it is always like this". Then why KFC shows such good picture which shows huge quantity plus presentation. Giving 6 pounds for this??????? Worst experience worrssstttttt.

Order with phone apps and doesn’t show me the status when I went to the place to collect it the staff keep chatting with people when I already stand at the counter five minutes. When I open the order at home found out the fries missing. Please avoid this place

Got my food at an average speed. Staff was nice though. Place is hard to get around with too many tables and chairs. Bathroom is meh. Food made me sick! Never again.

They didn’t let me order at the till and it was confusing trying to get the student discount at first because of that. They also directed me to read a sign in Chinese but I couldn’t really read Chinese. I like the gravy

had an argument with driver because he made a mistake about the address. i tried to be nice and understand but this driver was in a bad mood and snappy with me for no reason, when he was in the wrong place which i had to walk too away from the correct address. food which i EVENTUALLY got and had to reheat was really good :)

I encountered several problems in this KFC although the food was very acceptable in taste. My friends and I have all had intestinal problems after eating there. In addition, I ordered a cherry coke which tasted more like water than coke, not great. But that's not all! The toilets were simply unacceptable! Cleanliness needs to be reviewed.

To flee!!!!!!!!!!!! The chicken was decent and tasted good, however I have some doubts about the hygiene standards, our entire group (of 5 people) had intestinal problems the afternoon following the meal!!! The toilets are disgusting in addition to being difficult to access: you need a code which is normally present on receipts........which are not printed by the machine?!?!!? What a shame, you have to ask the waitress for the code, who was unpleasant and incomprehensible! In short, I don't recommend it at all unless you want a laxative that tastes like breaded chicken!!!

I waited 2 hours for my food and its fricken cold. Original eta.. 4.30, delivered at 6.00, guaranteed the food been sitting there. I would want a full refund.

a cold can of drink was next to the chicken in the bag which cooled the chicken down to the point my food was cold and I can't get a refund on the meal as it won't allow me to select the item on the app to request a refund

The food was absolutely freezing even though shop is only about 3mins away on a bike,the rice bowl only had iceberg lettuce and tiny bit of chopped tomato and 6 dots of sweetcorn.Wasn't salsa at all very disappointing.

Food was pretty much cold despite staying like 5 min walking distance. Rider had more than our order and was at the restaurant for a while so I suspect our order was waiting at the restaurant for quite some time while someone elses order was being prepared. Terrible quality after spending £50 on our order, I was expecting something better. Sadly I was left extremely dissatisfied.

Forgotten items and unable to deliver

Nicholson st. Edinburgh. Big thank you to all the staff. I popped in to grab something for my Grandson but I had taken Ill today. The staff could see my distress and were fantastic to me. I thank you all . Your empathy and professionalism was greatly appreciated.

If your traveling from another country I'd say give it a try, they have the old school gravy from when I was kid before they had to change the recipe. Was delicious.

2.5 hrs for. Delivery for it to be cold and dried out went in the bin . Cookies and tropicana missing . Complete waste of money.

Where do i even start with this place, all the machines were broken so had to order at the till, waited ages to be seen and the guy didn’t understand what i wanted, The whole kitchen is visibly dirty and messy, two guys had long beards and no beard net or covering, girl had long hair and no net, she was scratching her hair and her arse, Waited ages for food but after seeing the hygiene standards of this place me and my friend just left without collecting our food, don’t recommend this place and definitely don’t think they ever clean

The wings seem to get smaller each time I order & less spicy, such a shame cos when the spicing is stronger they are wonderful

Ordered through Uber, my driver said someone else took my order so I have to get a refund. What a joke. The time I did go in to eat there, this place was filthy, floor was greasy and staff were very slow and rude. This place needs shutting down to be honest.

My chicken burger bun bread arrived so over- toasted and extremely dry. I was quite disapointed, as usually KFC food is prepared with great care. Also my chicken pieces were extremely salted. Not sure I'll order again from KFC.

Yummiest fried chicken burger. Tasty freshly made fries. We ordered Zinger burgers and fries. Food was served fresh and hot. Nicholson street KFC is clean and tidy. Location is excellent when visiting Edinburgh. The staff was very polite and friendly. Good place to eat when in the city👍

The food was really bad. Bread was so dry and stale, chicken was very dried up couldn’t even get meat from it. Really poor food quality. The food was delivery time was quite long for the food delivered. Although the rider delivered at the stated time.

15/9 night time 10.21pm order 8pcs chicken but only 2pcs big chicken another chicken wing and small part chicken..request change big chicken but cashier tell me no big chicken???so I buy 8pcs more than half is small chicken only

chicken was nice enough but not hot enough. chips were cold, gravy was leaking and we received pepsi max (which no-one likes) instead of the tango we ordered. We have never had an order that has had everything correct.

I love kfc Nicolson. Atmosphere there it’s always great, food absolutely delicious- fresh and tasty, service quick. Store it’s clean. There is a new Store Manager who is doing really good job. Cares about customers and his team. Plus is good location and opening times. Definitely I would recommend this KFC to everyone.

Very disappointing 😞 my worst experience of a KFC. No receipt issued with the order to confirm selections. Staff errors galore leading to parts of the order being missing. When advised of this, they eventually print an order from their till confirming the omissions, then go missing for ages probably hoping you will just go away.
