KFC Chorley - Retail Park in Chorley

They have NEVER got my delivery order correct. If there’s not a drink missing, they give me gravy instead of beans, or a plain chicken burger instead of a Zinger or no cheese or no supercharger sauce. It’s very often cold too, although recently it has been warmer. The delivery drivers don’t read the notes either and they deliver to lower down the street instead of the cottages at the end… many evening I’ve been stood in my onesie or pyjamas in the wind and/or rain trying to get the attention of the delivery drivers who are stood clutching a paper bag gazing at the gutters of the wrong house in the hope that it’ll magically transform into the right house, all the while my food getting closer to the ambient outside temperature. There are many evenings I don’t cook or I’d be eating at midnight. So I order KFC from Chorley, solely because it’s relatively low fat chicken. I resent paying premium prices for grossly sub-par food and service.

I went to Chorley Kentucky this evening after work. I ordered a 3 piece meal and 4 pieces of boneless for my pet, when I got home there was on 3 pieces of boneless, but I was charged for 4. I tried to call them, but the number kept coming up as Chorley Methodist Church

Every time I go I have to go back as items missing or not prepared properly customer service is shocking

Decided to eat in for a change. Only able to use kiosk so couldn't modify to unseasoned fries. Every table was dirty.

Not only was the service at KFC Chorley shocking, but Courtney’s personal presentation was extremely off-putting. Her missing and blackened teeth made me lose my appetite completely. Hygiene and professionalism are critical in the food industry, and this branch fails miserably.

Food better eating in can't forget anything .

ZERO STAR REVIEW I had a terrible experience with the KFC Chorley branch’s delivery service. After placing my order via the KFC app, the delivery status didn’t update, leaving me unsure if the order was being processed. I called the branch, and they assured me the order was waiting for a driver, so I decided to wait. After a significant delay with no update, I contacted Uber Eats as directed by the app. I spent a frustrating amount of time on the phone with no resolution. Eventually, I called the branch again, only to be told the order was still sitting there. How is this acceptable when I live just 10 minutes away? The amount of time I wasted chasing this up is beyond frustrating. I could have gone to another restaurant or cooked my own meal in less time. On top of that, there’s still no clear answer on who will refund me for this mess. The lack of communication between KFC and Uber Eats is shocking, and this experience has left me with no confidence in their delivery service. I’ll not be ordering again.

Here’s a revised update based on my experience of late: --- I had an incredibly disappointing experience with the KFC Chorley branch's delivery service. I placed an order via the KFC app, but the app was glitchy and didn’t update the delivery status. When I called the branch at 4:09 PM, I was told the order was waiting for a driver, so I waited. By 4:30 PM, still no sign of my order. I contacted Uber Eats, as the app suggested, and spent 30 minutes on the phone with no resolution. Finally, at 5:09 PM, I called the branch again, only to be told the order was gone, but I'm still waiting For a restaurant just 10 minutes away from my home, this kind of delay is unacceptable. What’s even more frustrating is the phenomenal lack of communication between KFC and Uber Eats. As a customer, I shouldn’t have to chase both companies to figure out where my order is. This experience has left me questioning the reliability of KFC’s delivery service. I wouldn’t recommend ordering from this branch unless you’re prepared to deal with delays and poor communication. --- It's 7pm and instead of being well fed, I'm hungry and on the phone with uber eats till I die of starvation because they can't be bothered to answer.

I went to this store fortnightly for years and stopped going a year ago due to the cheap cuts of chicken in the share buckets so started going elsewhere.So today Friday at 12.50 I decided to give it another try.Never again 😡 I ordered a 10 piece sharing bucket at £22.99 and specifically asked for not many drumsticks please as the last time I came I got 6 pieces in a 10 piece bucket.The guy said yes that’s fine but you’ll have to wait a while whilst there cooking more chicken.I thought well that’s a good sign.To my shock when I got home it was 5 drumsticks 4 wings and 1 thigh.£30 for for this is disgraceful especially when I’d asked for it not to be.Im sure your having a laugh at my expense.I will never ever use this KFC again even though it’s my local one,I’d rather drive miles further for a proper deal.I realise your a big company and don’t take negative feedback seriously as you have enough customers.I personally think it’s a joke to pay £30 for cheap chicken pieces making the buckets.Shame on you.You shouldn’t have the right to use the name of KFC above your shop.I get that it’s a franchise but the standards of this shop fall well below expectations 😡

Best kfc I've had in 10 years passing through chorley and called here I'm from Huddersfield and this kfc is an accett to itself.keep up the good work guys.

One of my chips were wet, there wasn't appropriate PPE which should be there when handling food. I wouldn't recommend. Plus for the amount and cost your better off going somewhere else.

Awful place food order wasn’t cooked properly chicken was raw in the middle had to fight to get my money back haven’t been back go to the one on charnock Richard services had no issues food his cooked and my orders are never wrong

Be better of with the Morrisons hot counter. Staff couldn’t seem bothered save your self the hassle go to big Morrisons

This is the best and cleanest KFC we have had the pleasure of eating in. Fast and efficient, thoroughly enjoyed everything about it. We have been to numerous KFC all over and it's been spoiled by either it being a mess with tables not cleaned, food and debris on the floor, food not being fresh, waiting ages for food, service machines not working or having no paper for receips, bins overflowing but not this one in Chorley we have been back a number of times and it's always been good with high standards well done.

The service is always quick here and the food is always well cooked and tasty

KFC is overpriced now and the quality of food is getting worse every week and overall is very poor value for the money

Food was acceptable but,Got to the table they forgot some of our order-chips and a drink-had go back for it and they thankfully gave it us and give us a drink we didn’t ask for give us coke instead of sprite.But the food was warm and enjoyed. Overall the atmosphere was Ok but It smelled a bit..would I come again? Maybe but I’d preferably go somewhere else.

Terrible service, My wife bought a £20 bag of chicken with side dishes and a bottle of Pepsi. She asked for boneless but was given boned and the chicken was burnt and tasted off, It was revolting. The server also tried to palm her off with a cup of Pepsi until my wife pointed out that the order usually comes with a free bottle of Pepsi or Fanta. A bottle was given, but on examination at home, we found that the bottle top had what looked like a pin prick in it and was leaking soda. So the meal had to be returned, and a complaint was made mainly because it was burnt and tasted gone off. If we had eaten it, we'd most certainly been ill. She did manage to get a refund when the young manageress admitted that the chicken looked burnt. But imo service has gone downhill since Covid came along, and people have had to return to work, KFC should employ staff who are happy to have a job, but instead, the attitude is laziness nowadays. KFC used to be a treat and something to look forward to, but that branch has lost our custom, that's for sure.

Absolutely grim to say the least! Found two hairs in my boneless banquet. No gravy and instead extra fries which I didn’t order. The staff had no appropriate PPE when handling the food orders, even in the back! no hair or facial nets, no gloves when handling food. Lack of personal hygiene. Won’t be coming back, disgusting.

The staff here have a serious problem with giving you the pieces of chicken you ask for, they will always say “if we have them but we can’t promise” then they give you all the worse pieces anyway AND forget getting any decent pieces if you order online, I got a 10 piece bucket with only legs and thighs!! So annoying, the only kfc that has a policy of giving you the cheap pieces!

Missed my bucket box meal off the order and the phone is off the hook so can't report it or complain. At least my wife and kid got to eat.

Food is constantly good. No grease, chips are amazing, just not enough of them. Only issue I have is the ordering screens say they have discounted when scanning my BL card. It doesn't discount it. The order must be made at the counter if you have discounts. It's fried Chicken, it's always a winner with most 👍

Friendly staff. I've been a few times to the drive through, never been in the restaurant. Blue light discount is a bonus too. Never had a bad meal from here.

Staff are certainly much nicer than the McDonald's up the road. I mean, like night and day. But sadly their setup is awful. So I can be the only person in there and still wait forever for my food sometimes. It seems priority is given to take away orders even if I've been there 20 mins. I bothered to come down. Why give special treatment to the person who sent a Just Eat driver to fetch their food for them?

Got my order wrong, then after doing a review they would give you complimentary cookie I had to go and ask for it, if it was linked they would of brought it over so not happy about going to counter and stating that I've filled in the form

What have you done to your chicken batter recipe it was very vingery and very salty was in Oct 23 and was fine gone down hill dramatically wondered why the place was empty during eating my food I don't burp but I have never burped eating a kfc in the past but this time I must have burped about 9 times during my meal what have you done it was just vile

If you order through Uber eats or other delivery apps expect all the worse pieces of chicken, every single time they get rid of all their worse pieces to people who order through these apps, had the same issue now with them for 3 years so until they change their policy expect 1 star reviews!

Staff gave me the chicken I asked for, and even though it wasn’t available they offered to cook it if I waited. Like the last few times they were friendly and put the customer first couldn’t ask for more. Places like Buckshaw KFC should take note and see how tit should be done, as the customer service here is on another level and puts them to shame. The worst kfc. Literally ripped me off and missed half my meal after waiting 30m.

Made the mistake of going here for the first & last time. Went inside & was the only one waiting but staff chatting & ignored me until I asked if they where going to serve me. Got a 10 piece bucket & only when I got home several miles did I find 5 pieces were chicken legs ????? Fries over cooked. Lousy meal at a premium price. Avoid Avoid Avoid

Usually not very busy and the food is great. Not much human interaction needed either in the drive through or inside the building. The interior is really nice and usually pretty clean. Would recommend.

Waste of £23 ordered got a deliveryby uber eats the food was cold the chips were soggy and the gravy had spilled all over the food in the bag. The food was inedible threw it in the bin. I asked the driver to return it he refused and started swearing not happy

Came here to order food, decided to eat in, one family was in there enjoying their food. Just me at till waiting patiently to get my order taken. Few staff knew I was there waiting but the 3 staff members near the till were too busy sniffing drinks and having a giggle amongst themselves. I would have happily sat down and waited but these staff members just outright blatantly ignored me. Drive thru was busy but couldn’t be bothered to take an order of me and just had me waiting for nothing. Walked out. Just ridiculous customer service well there wasn’t any service at all. Not that these people give any £&@“(

no napkins or salt even after they stated that we had everything and had to park and wait ten minutes because a delivery driver had blocked the drive thru won't be going back Saturday lunchtime i was there and it was not that busy

Great service at this KFC (Chorley)

Had to wait 15mins while they cooked chicken a bit off for a chicken centric takeaway. On the plus side he chicken was fresh.

I had to wait 15 mins for my food but my friend on the other hand had to wait 26 whole minutes for a boneless banquet l. It is safe to say I will not be coming to this kfc again (fuming)

Bad visit this time they took ages to take my order as was also a few people behind me waiting to be served. Asked 3 times to get served. While waiting saw customers keep returning wrong orders. Overall not good today.

The zinger chicken fillet was raw. The meat was not just pink, it was translucent.

I called in for a bargain bucket to take home I didn't use the drive thru the inside was spotless I was greeted by a member of staff with a smile and how can I help you and yes the chicken was great 👍

Great food, good sized portions. Seemed bigger than other KFC's. The food was hot. Lost a star for the atmosphere due to work being done on the air conditioning. Just bad timing I guess.

Got a zinger twister meal, chips were soggy and the chicken wasn’t chrispy it felt a bit under cooked I went through drive through so didn’t take it back. Staff lovely tho

I stopped coming here due to the amount of issues a few years ago. Noticed buckshaw opened one up and they are amazing! Recently came back to chorley as it's in the way back from sons football training and I order the same thing every week for 4 people. Every week now (5) something is missed off the order. Drive the extra 10 minutes to buckshaw its worth it. Staff here have no emotion or drive.

It was the best kfc I had anyway normally I get it from Ashton-under-lyne and that place is horrible but this place was actually nice

Food great, service good, unfortunately the app was not working, so even though we had spend a lot of money we will not benefit in any way.

I originally gave KFC 3 stars but they have improved a lot so I have changed the rating and the review to reflect this. The mid-week wraps are great value and the staff are much more helpful.

Qued up in drive through for 15 mins only to be told the Internet was down so they couldn't take contact less on my phone but could still take card payments?? Absolute joke especially as still had to queue up to get out!!! Disgusting

For once on the ball -not too busy with the drive through and just eat losers ! Ordered table service and was with us in 10 mins !!! Pleasant staff ! Maybe this is one of the last bastion of decent service ? So dont all rush and spoil it !

Waited 5 mins for the intercom at the drive through for a member of staff to mutter something inaudible and take our order. Sat with the engine off for 10 minutes before getting to the window. Once we got there, told to park up for '4 minutes'. 10 minutes of watching staff smoking and on there phones, our food arrived. Poorest experience at one of these establishments. Won't be back.

Been going here for a number of year and i feel since covid things have steadly got worse. The people they employ seem to not be interested in customer service and dont take down correct orders or even know whatvis on the menu.

I regularly use the drive through here because I like the food. The problem here is the same as almost every other KFC. They just never get the order right. Yes, I'm including a napkin as part of getting the order right. When you are in your car it's important. Other times they have left out food items, included the wrong food items and even the wrong drink once. It's not just this one. They are all like that.

Customer service lacks here some staff can be rude. Food is hit and miss, sometimes it tastes good (for fast food) other times it's awful. But not bad when you want something cheap.

It's ok for something different now and again

Didn't put chicken gravy in the bag. My client had finished a meal before I got it. By the time I had mine, it was cold! When I mentioned food being cold after returning nothing was done 😵😔🙄

Staff obviously didn't aspire to work here when they left school and don't they let you know it, not a smile between the lot of em, must be having supply issues again as out of BBQ sauce however if you want a wrap your in luck as you'll get 3x more sauce then salad or chicken. Staff have no training on the app what so ever and completely misinformed

Since lockdown prices through the roof. Could have a meal out with family for less. Tables not cleared and even with the increased prices it wasn’t cleared so no excuse. Staff happier being on their phones. Disgraced with everything. I deal with the chicken supplier for KFC and will advice to be making the most of other suppliers!!!

The slowest takeaway restaurant I ever visit. Had to wait 5 minutes until someone took my order whilst stood at the till. Others experienced the same and we're more vociferous about it. If you go through the Drive Thru it's even slower. Just a terrible setup.

Ordered food for delivery online, phoned Chorley KFC to pacifically ask them to remove an item I am allergic to. They completely ignored my request, and I couldn’t eat my food, then the manager who was working 04/02/23 wouldn’t provide her name, and was very rude on the phone. Also the food was cold anyway, I don’t even think this place is worth 1 star.

ZA and UK KFC ain’t the same ! No quick choice of boxed chicken with server no clue at all ! Settled for two greasy smelly pieces of oiled fried chicken and soggy chips in bags - not my memory of KFC chicken! Lost me as a client! I’ll take my 5£ and make fresh with tinned coke and not overfilled cardboard cup with diet soda 👎

I think anyone would find it hard to fault their food but if you go to the drive thru, I'd be very surprised if you didn't have something wrong or missing from your order. Yet again Saturday night our order was wrong and all the drinks had no flavour. That's enough. We won't be back .

Tasty but every time I’ve visited they’ve missed something from my order. Most recent time I didn’t get given my popcorn chicken, twice before that I didn’t get given my dips. It may just be small things but people are still ordering and paying for them. Should take more care when packing orders or, if something isn’t in stock/available, an alternative should be offered, not just leaving the customer without.

Best place to have kfc as opposed to the one in Buckshaw village where the fried chickens are not cooked to perfection and the service is not that great.

never had a problem with the quality of food or getting the wrong things in my order. the gravy has always been one of the best throughout allmofnthe KFCs weve visited. there are busy times (like Friday night) but staff are always polite and helpful at all times with waiting times kept to a minimum. the introduction of a security guard during the evenings makes sure there are no problems and that the number of teenagers is reduced. the drive through gets very busy so it's sometimes quicker to order inside.

The chips you order from here are absolutely tremendously disappointing.. they are always cold when you get ur meal and you only get a few in the packet when you are buying any meals.

Absolutely disgusting. And a total rip off. Didn’t even bother to get the order right. Food minging wouldn’t even let my dogs eat it. Dried out plain burger with not even a shred of lettuce instead of the fillet tower burger meal ordered then found black disgusting god knows what inside my burger!!! Don’t waste your money. Find a cheaper chicken place you will get better quality chicken for a third of the price

Very pleasant, loads of parking.

It's OK, however. I remember in 1972 one of the first KFC's ever. The taste has gone downhill. Too much salt !!! No wonder kids have weight and blood pressure problems these days.
