KFC Cardiff - Excelsior Road in Cardiff

Driver came 30 minutes late without any of the food then said he’d go back for it but after a 40 minute wait he never returned with our food.

Always cold. Cans put in with food which makes food cold and drinks warm. No common sense whatsoever

fed up of paying for delivery and be called by the divers out side my home parked in the cal de sac to come get my food !! if i pay for delivery i expect it to come to my door not have to go get it cause yr drivers are to lazy to come to the door every time please sort this matter out thank you .

The app should 20 minutes and a couple of minutes later the app should 40 minutes.

Ordered 2 rice boxes through drive through and was told that I would need to park up and wait. 15 minutes later still no sign of my order, went into the restaurant to be advised that they had no fillets and would be a further wait (25 minute wait in total). Disappointed to see that other orders made after mine with fillets, were served before me. Will give it a second think before coming back to this KFC

NB I have upgraded from 1* to 3* as KFC replied to my review straight away. I forwaded their reply to Just Eat who immediately arranged a refund for the missing item. =========================== Ordered via Just Eat. Missing item. KFC refused refund as I had accepted the sealed bag with code. But I would not be handed the bag without the code. You expect a supplier such as KFC to get it right first time. What was received was tasty.

I arrived at the drive through at 10 Pm and was told there was no riceboxes. Was this because they couldn’t be bothered to microwave and cut fresh salad for the meal?. I’m absolutely appalled being a KFC employee myself I know it can get busy and annoying at closing times. But this is unnecessary. I am really disappointed I’ve tried ringing various times and no answer. I understand things can get busy but this looks very bad on the company.

I have been given the wrong order

We were given the completely wrong items.

The the meals were warm,the only thing that was hot. Was the beans.

Turned up at the drive through just before 10pm. Myself and my partner, asked for 2 rices boxes which got firmly denied as apparently “KFC don’t sell Riceboxes”, we didn’t ask any further about that obscure statement. We then moved on and asked for a mini BBQ Wrap which also got denied as “We don’t have chicken fillets at the moment” Which is a Joke. The overall feeling was that they couldn’t be bothered making our order as close was only 1 hour away. Absolute joke, and we drove away with no food. Really disappointed, won’t be returning again.

Ordered from the screen and payed also . The machine didn’t print my order to double check .Messed up completely the kids order . 3 large meals for kids with chips and drinks . I drive 20 min to go home and serve the food to my kids !What to find . All the orders was all with baked beans and not large meals all small ! Thief’s The audacity to say on a phone you swapped for beans what 5 different orders all with beans . Lying staff , disgusting service , rush rush rush . No respect . For me I would never order from these place online either in person . Very disappointed! Change the staff or you going to close down soon

From placing an order at 6:01 for it to be delivered cold & not nice to eat at 20:08 is awful. How can it take over 2 hrs!

missing item. what arrived was very tasty. arrived just in the expected time window that was very large.

food was freezing cold boneless pieces were soggy on the coatings .. the 2 pieces on the bone were loose in main bag and one was stick to can of Pepsi!???

Chips were freezing I do not like drumstick chicken and I got 3 pieces I wanted different pieces wouldn’t mind one leg but I got 3 then the chicken strips I was looking forward to they didn’t have any so they sent me two more chicken legs, just paid £23 for this and I’ve ate like 1 and half chicken legs and thrown the others because I hardly like them and I left a note saying I would only like 1 chicken leg!

Ok 14 piece bucket, 9 chicken legs, come on that's not fair. Not worth the price. Disappointed. I expect a reasonable mix of chicken pieces

Staff are totally unhelpful, there is usually a fight going on in some corner of the shop between delivery guys and staff. Severely understaffed. Avoid going in if at all possible.

Poor Service. Turned up late and completely wrong order. Situation to be dealt over email leaving hungry children for the night. No initial remedy offered. Took my money, wrong order appeared, now waiting for emails. Not good enough!

Fries were cold burgers were cold. All run by bunch of kids.

Usual shameful service and customer service aftercare abysmal wrong food delivered again and when I rang was told to make a complaint - dreadful service once again! Not sure if this is an independent outlet but really poor

Absolutely awful. Food was cold and there was so much missing. I ordered two lots of chicken I got one , there was two chips short, one can short and there were hardly any chips. I was very disappointed with quality and all that was missed

shocking.. took nearly 2 hours to arrive! and when it did, it was stone cold and soggy.. £23 for this. it's not acceptable. a takeaway is meant to be a treat that we hardly get..and we paid £23 for this.. absolutely awful..

I am fuming I opened the bag and the gravy has spilt EVERYWHERE and all the foods been all mixed around in the bag. I paid for this so I should get what I ordered delivered to me correctly as everyone should and this has just ruined it

The guy who delivered our food was so helpful. He brought our food direct to our second floor flat. He greeted me with a smile. A credit to your company.

I walked in and ordered a double chicken bucket, and a member of staff said she would need to get someone else to help with the order !! I was confused. Why, then I take it must of been the manager who came over and said they don't have any chicken the time was 22.10 they are open till 23.00hrs I said your restaurant is manly chicken what do you mean no chicken was then told don't have a go it's not there fault the ovens go off at 22.00hrs so why stay open till 23.00 if they don't cook anything after 22.00. All I would say don't waste your time going there.

I arrived at the store at 2215 hrs to be told they had run out of chicken pieces. I know it was closing in 45 minutes but to run out of chicken. This is the second time this has happened the first time 2100hrs to 2200 hrs. I do not receive this problem at other KFCs.

Almost £50 items missing an cold !

Food was ice cold, driver was driving with warm bag open

Only problem is no option not to have fries, so ordered 2 x creamy mash for one side , and 2 x creamy mash for second side and only one side (2 x creamy mash ) delivered. This is second time happening.

Ordered veggie box, delivered 1 spoonful of rice and salad in bare box. Phoned to ask for my order to be redelivered to be informed by female staff. They are miss advertising as they don't do red beans and don't supply corn on the cob as advertised but can put in complaint with delivery.... not delivery fault..... grateful for their honesty on the misadvertising therefore I will order elsewhere in future...... KFC sort out your advertising!!!! Ty for your honest staff though

Awful experience. Delivery never turned up. You didn’t give the driver my new address that I updated prior to ordering. Terrible customer service.

Most times we go there, we have to almost beg for someone to clear the tables for us to sit at.

I recently visited KFC and was extremely disappointed with my experience. Despite the promise of receiving my order within 7 minutes, I had to wait a full 20 minutes for my food. I ordered chicken wings, original chicken, and a chicken fillet, but the chicken fillet was far too salty to enjoy. Overall, the quality of the food did not live up to expectations, and the delay in service was frustrating. I had high hopes but left disappointed. Would definitely reconsider my options next time.

Went through the drive through and the two young man on the till and pick up window had great customer service and a sense of humour too! The food was piping hot, fresh and delicious. 5 stars

This has to be the worst most unappealing burger in the history of Human Civilization. I took a bite into it and immediately noticed something was wrong. It seemed a bit....devoid of any filling. When I opened it up, I saw only 4 very small pieces of lettuce had been put on there.(see ohoto) I know places like these get busy, but this is no time based oversight. This is plain lazy and sloppy behaviour by the staff member who prepared it. I don't think I'll ve ordering from here again.

Available staff but all tables covered with leftover food detritus. Wiping down tables should be a hygiene expectation.
