KFC Bexhill on Sea - Ravenside Retail Park in Rother

Out of 4 meals, 2 had completely wrong burgers, one wasn't a tower as ordered, and the other had its side missing. Staff moody and uninterested. Restaurant seems to prioritise delivery companies over other customers, and general housekeeping is poor (we'd been in just over an hour and saw no one wiping tables or sweeping floor. On a positive note, the coffee machine & krushems machine were working (though coffee machine was on half measures)

Standard takeaway can't fault the chicken, finger liking good 👍

Ordered food which never arrived and no answer by phone

The food was good, as always 😋 The low score is for the 26 minute wait at the drive thru!! Entered at 20.06 exited at 20.32. If I could have escaped I would have. 😪

This is the worst place bye KFC.i had two takeaways and had to throw both in the bin they were literally thrown together and tasted crap so we went in tonight and I had a person so rude serving me I literally was gobsmacked her name was Carla but low and behold the food was fine funny that I will certainly not be going back.well went back a second time and it was even worse to many things missing food rude staff off the scale.these people need customer training.

Went into the restaurant with friends intending to sit in the restaurant to eat only to be informed that we couldn't sit to eat even though we arrived an hour and a half before the restaurant was suppowwd to shut. The food was cold by the time we started eating it hence giving me and a friend food poisoning the next day. Wont be going there again.

Walked out and did not order, as at Lunchtime they could not supply me with a piece of Chicken Breast?? 😱 Went again and could not pay by Visa card for food order on the screen. Very awkward to deal these days. 🙄😭

Just had lunch at this branch. We had to take the fries back as they were cold, only to be brought some replacements equally as cold, the surly girl who brought them, was obviously disgruntled that we had brought back the fries. She spilled some on the floor looked at them and just walked off with the hump. Third time lucky we eventually got some hot fries from another much more helpful member of staff.

Just been kfc ravenside.there was a young man clearing and washing tables.what a credit to the shop.he ask if he could take our rubbish away.he did this to all tables around us.such a polite young man. Never seen this place so clean and tidy

The Ravenside KFC has the vegan burger and I always have that. It's also a good choice if you happen to be "free, free, Palestine" as KFC is Halal and a percentage of your purchase goes to Hamas. The TVP in the vegan burger doesn't need to be slaughtered, as chickens are, so if you're a compassionate eater, always order the vegan and avoid the Halal slaughtered chicken, as it's cruelty free and tastes better.

Great food, quickly served, lots of parking, never had any issues.

Arrived at the restaurant at 21.45 tonight to be greated with all the chairs on tables other than four tables along one side. This makes sence closeing down some as restaurant closes at 23.00. As these tables were a bit grubby i went upto the counter to get some napkins to give the table a wipe off. I asked the gentleman behind the counter just to double make sure it was still available to eat in as there was still over an hour before the restaurant closes. However i was told it was just drive through or take away. Even though there was still people sat down eating. Lesson learnt go to the neighbouring restaurant which isn't Mc KFC sit down eat a meal with your family, write a review and learn to ignore opening/closing times.

In drive thru, not busy, still had to wait for "chicken to cook" . Atmosphere quite tense, seemed understaffed. Food not up to usual KFC taste snd standard - what's going on?

Yet again we have arrived home from the drive through with items missing from our order despite assurances that our order was accurate and complete. How can you get it so wrong? It's not that difficult to put the items on the screen in a bag, surely.

It was quick and easy. Staff were ok.

I don't understand why people feed their children this when there better and healthier alternatives. I don't recommend it at all

Used the drive-through for a simple 12 piece boneless box with 2 gravies and Pepsi max. The lady on the drive-through speaker was not English, and her understanding of "two gravies please" turned into one gravy and a pot of cold beans. We did not find out her mistake until we had driven away and travelled a few miles. Her understanding of English was almost as appalling as her speaking English. Now, don't get me wrong, I love foreign workers as they work hard. However, having someone whose command of English is poor was not a wise choice nor was giving out cold beans instead of a second asked for gravy. The best news is that since employing non English workers, we did not get the runs from poor hygiene like we have had numerous times I'm the past. I would try there once more and hope that the lady's speech and hearing improves. We will now always check our order before we drive off, and suggest others do the same.

Home delivery, as what has come to be expected, something was missing. The mighty bucket for one meal, was missing the fries. On a positive note, we did get the dip this time. Also missing were the condiments. Grrrrrr

They had obviously been busy as the fair was close by but no one had cleaned the restaurant, every table was piled high with rubbish and leftovers.

Probably the worst KFC I’ve ever eaten the food was just awful it was so dry and had been left out for quite a while and it wasn’t fresh but I ordered my food and it was already ready so very very fast at giving food out

The food is better than McDonald's, but the cleanliness of the tables is terrible.

Very poor slow drive through service.

Took just over an hour to go through the drive through. Only 1 car moved every 10 minutes. No apology or thanks for waiting. Krushem machine broke and we weren't offered any compensation for the fact we paid extra for krushems and was then given drinks no one wanted so we paid extra to waste over an hour because you can't leave that drive thru.

Tonight we treated ourselves to a KFC. Both the order machines were busy, not enough of these. I stood waiting for about 20mins for our food while all the deliveries, Just Eat etc took priority. After 20mins I said to a member of staff " how about doing our order now" as she appeared to be ignoring it on the screen. So much for fast food, could have cooked it myself quicker. When food did arrive it was nice but service was appaling.

Clean and tidy restaurant however the service could be much better.

As a vegetarian, I went to KFC for the first time ever. I realise they have numerous non-meat options instead of chicken. I asked at the drive through what was available for vegetarians and the manager came over to help me. He seemed pretty pleased. The food was nice. This was some time ago, so I doubt the manager remembers.

Staff do their best but under pressure with delivery orders it seemed food not bad but it was late didn't expect it to be top notch

Service with a smile, great chicken

Food is reasonable as expected its kfc, price range getting more expensive with the same bland variety, aside from good location with drive thru and or dining in, place is average. Two online order stele but you can also order at their till which i recommend as staff sometimes will advise you of a better option deals. Staff are hardworking and friendly. Worthwhile to visit for quick bite.

Service has dropped massively in this store. The staff are friendly enough, but they always miss something from your order. Is it that difficult to include a straw, napkins and a fork? I’ll just eat coleslaw with my fingers! Come on guys!

Treated ourselves and once home realised there were no chips in our order after waiting 20+ minutes (not ideal when we live a 30 minute drive away!). Unfortunately used the self service which didn’t give us a receipt so can’t get money back. Won’t be back

The organisation of the orders seemed to be a issue. Our order was prepped then left waiting for the final option, which meant the fries, chicken wings and strips were lukewarm cold.

I've never had a problem with KFC in bexhill before until yesterday I found that the service was very slow and when we got our food it was only warm wasn't hot this is a very disappointment because this has been very good this place for many years

The chicken is everything you can wish for and their fries are specially prepared. The meals are served very fast and fresh. They already won me over. You may want to try their bucket box or just chicken as those are my favourites. I will recommend this restaurant again and again. Sadly, can someone remind them to fix one of their self-ordering machine that has stopped printing receipts?

Food was a let down chicken was burnt and over cooked to the extent you couldn't even bite it, a £40 family treat was a waste of money as the majority ended up in the bin!!!!!!

I came here tonight at 8:14PM traffic was herendous in the driveway anyways, got to get my food they got my order incorrect this lady was at the window and she was the most ignorant person I met I told her my order was wrong nicely and if she could correct it and she ignored me kept trying to give me my food in the end she managed to correct it and ended up then giving me the wrong drink in a small size asked nicely saying that's the wrong drink she quickly made another one and basically chucked it in my hand giving me a evil look and looked away. It shouldn't be tolerated that behaviour behind a drive thru this happened tonight at 8:14PM 16/09/23

Absolutely useless place, the exact opposite of fast food, just don't bother with the drive through can be stuck in there over an hour! Plus they constantly get your orders wrong, useless staff, excessive wait times and no help at all

Very slow and poor service. Hot wings fine, chips fine but chicken pieces grossly overcooked and oozing grease.

The Twizler was top notch and the staff were charming and accommodating. Nice and close the B n Q so that's handy and worthy of 9 extra stars at least!

Every time I go and get take away from here I get screwed over. Ordered a 12 piece bucket, got home and there's only 10 pieces ! Last time we got a share feast we only got 2 portions of chips when there should have been 4. Absolute joke, go to get a treat and literally get stolen from ! Sort your staff out KFC, because at this branch they are giving your brand a bad name.

Pretty average overall compared to others but the food was hot that's main thing.

My experience going through the drive through wasn't great i don't have a drink with my meal so I opt for a side dish instead which if you get it your lucky, I've found if you ask them to check the meals before going they put it right but why should you have to do this ?

Entrance covered in rubbish. Walked in and most tables full of rubbish, dirty. Food on floor everywhere, bins overflowing. Had to clean a table to sit at. Food left on side getting cold! Requested new fries and burger but still cold burger! Service girl didn't look like she wanted to be there never mind serve! Another customer was complaining to the manager as we left, manager was just going through the motion but couldn't care less! Very disappointed and would be mortified if I was the franchise owner! Just yuck!!!!!! Didn't take pics as didn't think too.

Ordering screens didn't work, no zinger products, deals not advertise properly, no toilet paper in the ladies and slow, grumpy service. Food was ok.

We were served by Kieran who was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. We don’t like using the self ordering screens and to be honest we wouldn’t have wanted to touch them anyway, they were filthy, covered in grubby fingerprints. Who wants to eat a meal after touching that! The food was served quickly and it was all present & correct and piping hot. The restaurant had a lot of delivery drivers leaning all over the collection counters, getting in the way. It was evening and if I was there alone I would have felt intimidated. The restaurant floor was covered in dropped food and spilt drink. No front of house staff were present, no cleaning was or had been done for some time by the looks of it. We managed to grab a cleanish table to eat but did consider eating in our car! The entrance was also strewn with litter. Not nice to see on your way on & out. If this was my franchise I would be embarrassed by it and I would also get in there and sort the issues out. You also need a manager who is on the ball.

Fillet burger and chicken strip were lovely but the chips were disgusting,if it hadn't been a takeaway and if I had been closer I would have taken them back, how can you get chips wrong, only warm and looked about 2 weeks old. disappointing.

I got meal for family and everyone picked got through drive through and was missing several things from a large order for people's meals. Get home to be ripped off over £10 worth of food. I know its only £10 odd and food, but it's alot these days and just can't trust them for future.

This time I actually got all that I ordered. It was all hot. Great attitude from the staff though, I think they have a tough job.

Tonight my husband brought the kfc home minus his meal. He had to go back.. whilst our food was getting cold... They demanded a receipt when he wasn't given one in first place. He basically had to beg for the missing food we had already paid for then the woman was rude and pretty much chucked the food at him and slammed the window shut.. I tried calling 3 times prior no answer. This woman needs a lesson in manners and customer service. no apology. There are plenty of other hard working ppl out there that would do the job they are paid to nicely. We will not be returning!! this woman is lucky i was not present as I would of embarrassed her my husband never is rude so this has angered me!!!

There is always something missing from my order. Even though i order at the machine so the order should be very clear, there always seems to be an issue. When I eventually get everything i have ordered an paid for, it is never very hot. Always quite a poor experience here unfortunately.

Ordered a party bucket all drum sticks when I went to order another a couple of weeks later , I thought I would ask and they said I can only have one in the bucket..... dreadful service will not be visiting it again poor customer care

Just gone through drive thru. Susan served us and as we asked for no leg on a mighty bucket she said would be 10 minutes. Parked up. Food out in about 5 mins. Was piping hot and best kfc we have eaten. (Ever) sad I know but just making sure it was all hot made a difference as we often get like warm chips or chicken. Thankyou Susan you made our night.

I recently visited here with my wife and grandsons and have to admit I was surprised at the low standard of just about everything. It was cold, very cold and when we left our grandsons were shivering. At the counter my wife went to, to place an order the 'human' on the other side grunted "over there" pointing in the general direction of the other end where another 'human' type person was propped against the wall. After placing our order we chose our table, this was simple as there were only 2 other customers in there. Some of the tables needed wiping down in the least, if not cleaning properly. This could have easily been done by the 'human' who grunted behind the counter to prevent boredom overtaking it. The food arrived at the counter in manky bags and looked nothing like the advertised version, not even a distant cousin twice removed. As for the flavour it was reminiscent of a mistake I may have made myself in the kitchen trying to copy it from a shredded copy of the secret recipe KFC are so proud of that had been boiled in oil. I'm not a fan of McDonalds and would prefer KFC myself but the Mcdonald in Bexhill beats this place hands down for atmosphere, quality of service and quality of food. It is no surprise the restaurant was empty. The franchisee really needs to check out management and standards in this branch as I shall not return unless I hear of huge improvements on the local grapevine. Only redemption, my coffee wasn't bad. Come on KFC you can do so much better than this. It is without doubt the worst convenience food and service I've ever experienced including roadside snackwaggons.

Orders are constantly wrong, how can you forget to put zinger in a zinger rice box? Wraps are never matching their boxes. The staff in this place really need replacement

Never going back. The chiken was literally dripping with grease, one tiny bite and my tee shirt was ruinined, Grease all over the table coming through the bottom of the brown bags . My Mrs and I didnt eat any more of the chicken after that, waste of money and our time going in. The hot chocolate was drinkable though, hence 1 star.

I had 3 meals at £8,99 each and on 2 was missing the fries and on one the can of Pepsi. Is the second time my order is not complete and nobody answered to the customer service number. Is the second time with the same problem in a week.

My name is Mrs Walliss I went through the drive thru last night. The chips were cold the chicken was over cooked and the chicken wrap was soggy. Not good at all.

Slowest fast food ever! Took over 30 minutes to get food and greated by a grumpy worker that just grunted at me. Queue almost out the door and no obvious reason for such slow service. My husband was in and out of McDonalds and eaten his before I got mine and I had ordered first. Staff looked to be stood around doing nothing an not wiling to help. This isn't the first time I've had such slow service from the bexhill KFC I will not be going back!
