KFC Banbury Cross Retail Park in Cherwell

I had a burger and wrap from a k.f.c on the M40 just north of Gaydon and all I could taste is salt, I may as well have ordered a pot of salt, Banbury however, the same burger and wrap was ordered, and I totally enjoyed both, couldn't eat them fast enough.

Always love going to Banbury kfc. Staff are always polite and helpful and the food is always lovely and fresh. Just an idea but the tables outside would be more usable if they had parasols especially in this beautiful weather we are having.

Shocking service, ripped my £10 note and gave it back to me and said it was unacceptable. Furthermore, when I had to pay again for my order they got my order wrong and gave me the wrong drink aswell as put my food on an eat in tray when I said I wanted to eat out. Never coming here again. - Luke

Above average KFC - very friendly and helpful staff.

No matter watever you order for delivery, this particular branch is adament that they will never give you the things that you have ordered and paid for . Either they cant read or count .. what is the point of making a delivery when u have to go back to store and fetch it.. the phone must be ringing in the col grave as no one answers.. im done with this store !!

Don't eat this type of food now so can not rate food, but unisex toilets it's just a no from me came out two blokes washing hands had to check I was in the right toilet and then noticed my brain did not except it, just felt wrong please keep toilets separate please.

What is happening with only orders? I have placed an order, and money was taken out of my account but a message appeared saying An unexpected error has occurred with your payment. Please try again or contact support for assistance. This isn't the first time that has happened. Once again I going to have to chase my money back

Ordered online, went and picked up the food, what we had was nice but £30 of my order wasn’t there! Tried to call them for a refund after 7 times I gave up! Absolutely useless! Does anyone know how to get a refund or get in touch with them???

Slowest and rudest staff out of all the KFC places I have been to. Shame, as the food is great. I still go because the staff being rude is actually quite funny.

Ordered online. Direct via app. Order accepted, waited over and hour, driver 1min away for ages - called and then told order cancelled. Now have to wait 15 days for my money back.

The wings are probably from a quail or an even smaller bird. This is already starting to make a mockery of the client.

Absolutely awful.. I only received half my order. Trying to phone is impossible and the response I got once answered was terrible. What a waste of money. I used to rate KFC.. now I won't go back.

Sadly this was the worst meal I have ever eaten. One piece of chicken was tasty, but the other three bits was extremely dry and hard. I did speak to the manager when leaving and she was nice, and she did say that I should of just let them know, but I feel I shouldn't have to tell staff behind the counter as they are physically serving me the food. Really disappointed with the food.

Got The wrong meal but I guess that happens if they've got so many similar sounding meals.

If you order original chicken via uber eats they will give you the worst possible ratio. Twice now I have ordered 3 pieces of original recipe on uber eats and twice they have sent me 3 legs. Animals.

Food was decent, not much of a wait. Tables were clean. Toilets are mixed gender which is weird. Toilets were reasonably clean.

I ordered a 10 piece bucket meal only to realise that they had put burnt meat at the bottom of the bucket. Last week i did the same my 10 piece bucket meal had drumsticks only. Its so annoying.

Delivered wrong food and refused to send correct food or issue refund.

Went for a drive through order, had to wait for someone to respond. Picked up order, 6 piece bucket with side order of sweetcorn, but getting home found sweetcorn missing, not good quality control from them

Fast foid, very cooked an not greasy like other kfc's

It's a fine KFC, short wait and food was pretty well made

I don't know where you get chicken that small, should be KFQ kentucky fried quail and as for greasy jees. Chips was nice and beans hot for a change

I did have order meal whit drink on my way table I did drop on the floor all Pepsi . Stuff act very profesional say to me to be not to worry start clean wet table and floor plus replace my drink white a new one . On top off that food was fresh and hot thank you

Took my grandson as a treat. The staff were really helpful. I couldn't find an offer that I had seen on a billboard. But I asked, and the young guy was really helpful and found it for me. I wasn't impressed with the chocolate mint krushen. It had a strange texture. But overall, it was a pleasant afternoon.

A credit to the chain this branch is. Came in with the family after shopping and the staff were very friendly. On ordering the kids bucket I unknowingly changed the chips for the beans. When we opened her bucket we thought chips were missing but the staff politely explained, I returned back and a member of staff came to our table and gave my daughter a free portion. They didn't have to but it was such a nice touch. Will be retuning again if in the area.

The food in the pictures and the food you get is a huge difference. Go McDonalds. Better food for less money in McDonalds.

I have ordered the sharing buckets! Worth 23.99 with 8 hot wings supposedly but unfortunately I only received the 10pcs of chickens and 4 pcs of boneless! I always looking forward for my chicken hot wings! But your employee who is on the frontline today didnt put my hot wings!!! This is really so annoying if you dont get what you paid for! Please next time do your job properly!

Very rude staff. We ordered our food as normal with the self-service kiosk. It is only normal for customers to request sauces from the counter as they don't refill the sauce on the side counter with the napkins and straws EVER. To only get laughed at and judged when requesting mayonnaise and ketchup from the staff members. The food could've also been prepped better. So much for professionalism.

I pulled up to the drive through window at 2256 and sat there for 5 minutes. I then herd a voice saying hello welcome to kfc. Can I take your order! So I gave my order. I was greated with the response sorry we are closed. I repeated my order and was told sorry we Close at 11... This company should not exist in this town with idiots like that. And when he gets sacked No-one will employ such a prick, ever again! Good luck idiot I will find u! How do KFC allow franchises like this continue. Close it we are better without this kind of service. Appalling franchise. Close it!

The staff here are so rude, the lady at the counter was so rude, had to repeat the order due to her getting really arse when asking if there is mayo on one of the burgers. The manager had a moan at her middle of servings us becuase she was taking to long. When we travel home we found out the order was wrong instead of the bqq burger we had a buffalo burger so we had to throw it out. What a waste of money. The lady with the attuide packed our order. Clearly she has a chip on her shoulder or need retraining by the horrible manger. Very unprofessional. I will not be returning here Waste of money they will get your order wrong and give you some attuide as they do it. Good times.

It's a KFC... quick and easy food

We always order the party bucket. Always something missing and never have the breast pieces included in the bucket. An awful KFC and the Franchise need to have a good think about it

Food was excellent but tables were not clean . Not that busy so they had time to clean tables to much time clean stack of trays truly understand cleaning has to be done

Stopped here as we were using the EV charging points. We found that the restaurant was clean and the food fresh and that’s all you want.

Exceptionally clean inside and outside. We sat outside as there was a group of us. We visited here for food on our way back from a drive out. I don't like KFC usually as it never agrees with me but I had a piece of chicken, and it was really tasty. And clearly throughly cooked.

Asked for drum stick gave me breast chicken had to go back in and change it which wasted my time!.

Convenient if you're taking the A34 off the M40. Plenty if parking.

Absolutely awful food. Returned my zinger burger it was cold and was given another zinger burger that was even worse. No care for customer service in here. I will never return to this KFC and would recommend others avoid it as well.

I had zinger burger and it was cold so took it back and got given another cold burger. After paying over 10 pounds I expected a hot meal

Sorry, but the food was awful. 2 chicken wings were extremely over done and dried out and the fillet burger bun fell apart in my hands nd there was a piece of lettuce in it the size of a 50pence piece... And don't get me started on the toilets... If I'd have been in there before I ate, I wouldn't have eaten in there at all... Tht would have saved me the overall disappointment!!

I went on a Friday lunchtime and it was quiet. This meant I received my food quickly. The food was hot and tasty and the restaurant was clean and tidy.

I can quite honestly say I've never had any bad food here. It's always been fresh and clean.

I gave one star cause always something missing from the order.

Nice place to eat whist using the Tesla Supercharger right next to the restaurant. The restaurant is very clean, as are the rest rooms.

Food was perfect, it was drive thru we had rice boxes but no cutlery given to us to eat with.......

Missing chips, regular chips when should have been large, small chicken pieces. Overall nicely cooked and tasty as normal.

Food was clean and hot. We love the new style fries. The only let down was the lack of hygiene in the toilets. And they had purportedly been cleaned prior to our visit.

Service was quick. Sadly, the food was luke warm and bland. To be fair it's been a while since I'd had KFC, have they changed the recipe? Does health and safety mean it can't be served hot anymore?

The whole place was super dirty..2 of the toilets the flush wasn't working..It was so bad that we just decided to pack the food instead of eating in and made the next services stop in Warwick..the only reason we visited this place was to get our car charged..but don't think will be going back again!!

Good quality at a good price if you use the app for the offers and freebies. Sometimes they get the drive thru order wrong and the drive thru has been closed the last few weeks. Wonder if this because they are fixing their system...hopefully so.

We had a takeaway. They've changed the chip recipe. It was very tasty. Took the staff a long time to bring the food to our car. But it was red hot.

Got a shared Christmas bucket that was supposed to have 8 pieces of wings and instead I got chicken fillets and this is not the first time when they change the food in the bucket, if you run out with one of the products let the customers know about don't just change as you pleased🤬, I said before that I won't go there anymore and i did it again 😞

Every time I eat in or out in this restaurant my order is missing items and I’m having to keep asking to get my order right. Besides, the chicken or burgers we ordered seem to have been cooked in the morning and served in the evening; very poor quality compared to other restaurants I’ve been to.

The place is a disaster zone. Waited an age in store with a load of other people. Seems to have plenty of staff but zero organisation. When the food finally arrived, no hint of an apology and it wasn't that good. If anyone from KFC reads this, then please go to the USA and visit a Chick-fil-A and see how a restaurant should be run.

Ordered online to go and pickup, store know about it and having trouble getting my £33.95 back. So had to reorder and pay again. Still have my money

The best KFC ever been. People who works in the kitchen was great. Even for Saturday night we don’t need to wait more than usual.

It's a KFC so get what you expect. Missing item from your meal, check. Toilets need cleaning, check. Secret recipe makes it all worthwhile, check.

Had to wait ages for food. It arrived with no serviets and fries had been dropped in bag upside down. No sauces offered either.

Well cooked and quick. Haven't had a KFC for some time but really enjoyed it.

Ordered on app for drive thru pickup, arrived 35 minutes later then had to wait another 15 minutes for our order. Not a difficult or large order( 1 party bucket, boneless fillet banquet and 2 krushems) and 10 other cars managed to get their orders in this time, when it did turn up wasn't overly hot and a half hearted sorry.....really not impressed

Do not go here. I've been both inside this location and ordered from here on just eat. They provide less food in quantity and quality whilst also not checking details with JustEat orders so the orders aren't full and when they are this KFC will let people take the order. Do not go or order here.

I find the chicken strips to be salty, so I stopped ordering it.

If you like cold chicken and soggy chips then this is the place to go. Oh and cold beans. KFC used to have quality food and great service. But over the years the recognised food outlet has gone from bad to worse.

It's one of the nicest KFC's I've been to. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was well prepared.

Been here many times, nice stopover from M40 journey.

I am a regular customer this time i was disappointed on this particular visit, maybe i should have gone at a earlier time in the day it was somewhere around 9 pm. Orderd chicken strips meal with a large gravy. Then cashed in my free chicken strips x3 or 4 reward fron the App to sit in and eat. Then I had a phone call to get a take away pop corn chicken with a krushum. Unfortunately the malteaser one was unavailable so had to go for the milkybar one. Then a zinger meal without mayo with cheese. (this customisation was correct so at Least my lads were happy when i got home) Unfortunately the chicken strips were not moist and succulent like they usually are on daytime visits, they were hard crispy around the edge's like they had been cooked ages ago and left somewhere to keep warm. The gravy was like water, never experienced this before and then to top it off the game that you pick the hammer with on the app couldn't have been working how it should as i choose one and snother hammer was chosen??? Msybr thetr was grease on my fingers that got on to the phone screen So Not sure how that happened, had i won by mistake i would have been happier i guess. Oh well cant win them all. Im sure ill be back with my fingers crossed for a better experience as im hoping this is a one off and not that their standards have dropped. I Did use the toilet facilities and can happily report that they were clean.

This KFC outlet was filthy, leaks in a couple of places on the floor. They have unisex toilets and the one I went to use didn't flush and it disgusting.

Went through drive thru, food was handed straight out the window to us. A little bit too quick for this particular place. When eating was a little stodgy and stale the chicken bites.

Supposed to be open till 11pm got there and told they were shut due to unforseen circumstances so can't really give them a good rating

Absolutely awful. Long waits, rude staff and then after all that the food was wrong and there was no serviettes etc. KFC gave me a £10 voucher as compensation, so I went back. It was as worse They couldn't take the voucher as no one knew how to do it. I waited 15mins in the drive thru queue with only 1 car in front. When I got my order it was cold, food missing and again, no serviettes. I only went as I had the bumming voucher! I'm never going again. It's awful! So if anyone wants the voucher let me know!

One of the best KFCs that I have eaten in. Maybe just one point, the tables need to be wiped after each customer. They are wiped but not with any enthusiasm.
