Not very clean for eating in. Toilets filthy too. Floor very greasy and therefore slippy

Used the drive through for a hot wings bucket, overcooked dry and utterly disappointing,

The food is usually tasty, but over the past few years, we've only had a couple of orders which have been complete. We play a bit of a game of 'what's missing this time?' - We've had missing sides and sauces, wrong sauces and burgers with no sauce on. Would have given fewer stars, but because we don't normally complain, they've not had the option to put things right. We don't complain because by the time we'd get it sorted, the food we did get would be cold.

Best KFC in the area. Fast and friendly service. Clean seating area and easy to park. Recommended

I went to KFC this afternoon and by the time my reciept was printed the food was in the bag , ( alarm bells ) they couldn't wait to get rid of it , and when I got home I soon found out why . The chicken was like rubber and salty and the gravy was like peas pudding, and the chips had been heated a few times by the looks of them . I don't like diet coke but that was the best part of the meal . £25 wasted . I remember when going to KFC was a privilege and worth while . Now I'm just full of regret. For a world wide organisation it's a discrase. Never again .

Second time of time of ordering. Both times awful. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that it was a ‘one off’. Lesson learnt. No excuse for green wire fluff to be baked into the battered skin. Present on two strips. Uber eats don’t care. Will see what head office say.

Went Sunday 7/7/24. Ordered a couple of box meals plus hot wings and popcorn chicken. £32. Waited for 5 mins at drive through window as we'd taken them by surprise by ordering when they were open. Got home. My box meal, which should have been Zinger Tower was a fillet tower with BBQ sauce. Rank IMO and I didn't eat it. Chips are rubbish now and no amount of burnt chips spice can convince me otherwise. Hot wings were all batter - like eating scraps from a chippy but more expensive. I don't think I've gotten what I ordered from any KFC in England that I've been to in the last 5 years, maybe 10 - I've either had to check it and go in and get stuff replaced or taken wrong food home if i didn't. Not good, not fast, not cheap. My dog is happy to finish off about £16 of tat.

Consistently forget items from drive-through, even at quiet periods. Just not worth going.

Chicken cold greasy chips cold used drive in looks like the place needs a good cleaning chef especially dirty clothes and a scruffy appearance looked worse than a tramp worst thing I’ve had to eat in a while put most of it in bin

Took ages just for someone to take my order. I ordered a small popcorn chicken meal and they didn't inform me I was paying £1.99 just for a small popcorn chicken. I recommend nothing from this place. Never coming back.

Worst customer service every time I've been in. They never acknowledge you when you are waiting to order or collect an order placed on the app. Twice now I've waited an hour for my food. One time it took 20 minutes until a member of staff would acknowledge me at the counter.

Probably be our last visit here, I was going to go for the zinger meal, though my friend decided we'd best to share a bargain bucket, worst decision ever, the chicken was disgusting, the chips were just as bad just a really bad visit, I know the staff have a job to do but the atmosphere was empty. £18.00 for one of the most disgusting meals I've had.

It always seems to be dirty table tops, and the floor needs sweeping. The floor always feels slippery under foot even if it hasn't rained. More needed cleaning in-between orders instead of chatting each other up .

For some reason the prices were a lot cheaper than those in Lanarkshire. Service was passable, could maybe do with some training. Food just as you would expect.

Tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. Chicken was very greasy and tasted like fish. At least the dogs enjoyed it. Chips are never good from here.

We don't often visit KFC but the kids insisted. For a KFC, this one is very well run, good service and food was hot.

Very disappointed. Burger was undercooked and cold inside. Food presentation was far below expected par. Staff were slow to serve, even when eye contact was made and no others were next, staff had to be instructed to deal with my issue when raised. Very poor. I would not recommend this service. I will not be returning. Very dissatisfied.

Pre ordered for the drive thru online, went straight through and they sent me to the pick up bays. Had to wait over quarter of an hour, place is totally dead and it's midday. Only ordered chicken, chips and gravy - most bog standard order ever. Totally not fast food.

Terrible! I have always liked KFC but over the past year the quality has gone down hill and can guarantee something from your order will be missing. The last two times (a few month apart) I have got something from here I have been severely ill and began to vomit through the following night (not bad if you want the day off work). Jokes aside kfc was always quality food, but somthing has changed and even if it didn't make me sick I'd still not be returning for substandard chicken.

Utter time wasters. Went through drive through on my motorcycle, waited 10-15 minutes with a long queue behind me - went to the pay booth to ask what was happening as nothing was said on the order box that they’d normally communicate with you with, they said they won’t serve me due to health and safety, what health and safety?? Couldn’t even answer me that. A loyal customer gone.

Worst place ever, you place an order and there are always missing items. Ordered 3 meals for tea tonight at a cost of £33, we got 3 cans of pop!!!

Food is fine. Usual KFC fare, but this branch are completely incapable of remembering everything that’s been ordered. About 6/10 times I’ve been here, or ordered via just eat, there has always been missing items. (Usually fries or gravy). Sort yourselves out, seriously! It’s not difficult!

Went for a basic zinger burger meal, asked for a coffee but the machine was broken, it had been for 6 months! Meal was ok, don't know what it is but most of the eateries in Ashington are quite poor.

They must go through so much staff cos it's never the same person twice serving you , I've stopped buying bigger orders over £30 worth as it's never correct and always missing something, so now it's a boneless meal for 1 for my son & there's been times when that was wrong , the staff always look unhappy or sick of the job cos they don't smile EVER , as for food never had hot chips or hot chic burger yet , I know I sound fussy & y do I go back , well it's because my son still likes KFC 🍗 so now he's the only one eating there .

Came here me to find 10 drumsticks in family feast tried ringing no one answered phone for whole 10 mins it took to drive back to kfc when arriving no one in restaurant or drive through lots to f staff who didn’t feel inclined to apologise or give an explanation other than that’s all we had - had we been advised of this we would have waited. Unacceptable behaviour by most staff - not all - particularly offensive behaviour by one member- will not return

All tables dirty I cleaned ours with hand sanitiser. Couldn't throw our rubbish away as bin overflowing. Staff had time to mess about behind counter tho. Food was lukewarm. Bins overflowing all over the ground in car park.

ordered a trilogy box meal via the drive thru, get home to find the popcorn chicken is missing and they put a chicken wing in instead of a fillet. I swear this place takes on the staff that were too thick to work at Mcdonalds. Even ordering is a joke, Me : "hi can i get a large trilogy box meal with beans and pepsi max" Moron staff member : "uh yeah, what drink and side do you want?" Me : "ive literally just told you, beans and pepsi max" Moron staff member : "do you want it large?" Me : "???"

Went to this place at approx 9:30pm! At the drive in intercom could only hear loud music coming out of it! So into restaurant but seating area was barred off! Went to counter a server was there but never said good evening or even can I help you!! Loud music and singing blaring out of kitchen!! So we left empty handed and will never return!!!

Absolute dive, very poorly run. Every time I have visited this KFC there has been a long wait time 20+ mins. Dirty and staff that seem stressed out and unprofessional.

Ordered here a few times and this is my review: - Orders usually Wrong and missing items. - Chicken is 50/50 gamble if its fresh or been left out too long (hours) - packing is very poor with items not in containers. Had gravy exploded in bag. Even when offered my meal back they still get it the correction order wrong... fml...

I don't know why I keep going back here and expecting them to get better. 9 times out of 10, they miss something off the order and I don't realise until I've driven 6 miles home. These aren't even difficult orders, we are talking about standard box meals missing the sides off or neglecting to pack a single separate order of 2 hot wings going with 2 standard meals. This is basic stuff guys! Check what you've packed before handing it over! I know this sounds like a complete "first world problem", but its annoying that I'm paying for food that I'm not receiving. And I'm not going to drive back to complain over a missing corn cob. All I'm asking is for some basic double checking to make sure everything is there before you hand over the bag!

The staff were very friendly and efficient the shop was very busy didn't quite understand why one of the girls was scrubbing the rug at the door over lunch time very annoying having the machine going and that poor girl on the floor scrubbing having to stop to let customers in /out , not to mention the que that was building I'm sure her service would have been better serving and rug done out of hours

It's been a long time since I've had KFC as good. Only one server but he did a great job. The food is rarely the same at KFC but this was top class, nostalgic KFC. Keep the staff! Often a high turnover of staff can ruin my experience. KFC is my treat once a month. I'm looking forward to trying this one again. Let's hope it is the same as consistency is the problem.

Nice food but very often miss part of the order out
