KFC in Colchester

Waited 10 minutes for 3 chicken burgers, which is fine, but they turn up stone cold. The portion size of the fillets did not even fill half the size of the bun. I spoke to staff who got the manager, he did not ask what the problem was just said "card or cash refund?" I asked if there was a reason why food was cold and small, he just replied "short staffed" Poor food and customer service. Complaint sent to KFC and they offer a £5 voucher which does not even cover the cost of a chicken fillet burger priced at £5.99.

McDonalds here we come. Disgraceful KFC, no-one to help just screens to order from, table was filthy so was floor, asked for 2 bits of chicken meal, NO LEG please. Got leg. Goodbye KFC.

Ordered on uber eats, arrived early, but most of the order was missing, what arrived looked like it was made by a two year old , no pride in there work . Won’t be using again☹️

A first for me No chicken on the bone was available for 20 mins Didnt know that until I had ordered 20 mins past nothing, asked “oh just coming up” 10 mins later nothing Asked again no response So asked for the manager who refused to come out behind his desk no customer service at all absolute disgrace

Ordered through app. No gravy or dips AGAIN. random coleslaw took 1 hour. Live 8 minutes away. Used to be a good KFC but will not order from there anymore.

Avoid at all costs! Restaurant smells like a mix of stale urine and fried chicken. Door opened to toilets and i the smell of urine was incredibly strong and pungent. Food was cold and part of order was missing. I had to clean a table using hand sanitiser as it was very dirty with dried on gravy all over it. Worst KFC experience ever.

Having popped in after travelling back to Colchester, we found this branch of KFC quite appalling. Firstly the cleanliness was absolutely terrible, spilled drinks and food waste on tables and on the floors beneath tables. Not just one table but many. It appears that no staff (Plenty working) were checking and cleaning the premises. Secondly, no coffee and no sauces available and you wasn’t even informed of that, until we queried after receiving our food. So I think that this branch needs to up its game as it is performing quite poorly and below standard. I wouldn’t even give it one star rating!

Ordered online prior to visit. Arrived to collect. Unbelievably slow staff and very rude and ignorant. Their attitude was obvious they didn’t want to be there. Appalling!!

Kicking myself that I can't remember the lovely chaps name, but he took our order in the drive thro. He's got dark hair, young and just charming. A credit to you. ☺
