KFC in Guildford

Order arrived very fast. Half the order was missing and what arrived was cold! No way to contact KFC for them to put order right. May get a refund in few days but so disappointed with KFC

The shop has lock in place. There is no one inside. I go and knock. About 8 (eight) minutes later, a guy with very bad and stained uniform opens the door. His body language tells me I am bothering him! Far ou! I am a paying customer. He can not treat me like that! Chicken was undercooked!

I went there for Tuesday deal. The sign says "Only 3 allowed inside" I waited outside as there was no one inside. The door was locked. Some guy came and opened the door. No greetings. I ordered and waited. Took the order with me to my hotel. Opened it up, the chicken tasted like some leftover from the previous night was reheated and given to us. Not all, but some!

The men who served me were making sexual remarks and ordered my food wrong, I have never left so uncomfortable ordering food before, I also waited 20 minutes before my food was ready, I would understand if it was busy but there was 1 other person waiting, very poor customer service and very food quality

I went to kfc Guildford todays as a treat to my wife, but all 5 deliveroo guys were in when I was there and 3 of KFC staff walking in and out, without masks, I was so annoyed, I will not go there, my wife works in hospital, we need to be careful and respect to NHS team who are sacrificing their lives there

Service was extremely slow and the staff were rude! More than the 2 people maximum customer covid restrictions in the takeaway.

Awful, cold, undercooked food with terrible service! There was a total of 9 members of staff and they kept me waiting at the till for 10 minutes and completely ignored me. I was hoping that because the whole process took so long the food would be amazing and HOT. It was absolutely stone cold, soggy and inedible. Don’t waste your money

If your looking for KFC don't go to Guildford KFC it's nothing like it How they can try and pass this rubbish off as KFC I don't know Its really bad

The worst KFC in the UK. Honestly, dreadful. What franchise runs this farce. Deliveroo order for 2 hours but nothing ever arrived.called the restaurants for over two hours. No answer. Not sure why I bothered.lived in Guildford all my life and this place has always been run so bad!

Its a Monday night, not busy at all, 2 other customers, 1 being a deliveroo employee. Ordered a 12 mini fillet boneless, to be told no gravy for sides (nothing unusual, never any gravy, no matter what day of the week!). No coleslaw either, great, running out of options of things I like. Got home to eat my meal and there was no pop corn chicken in my bag either. I'm not driving 5 miles in the rain and dark to sort it out. Appalled. What an embarrassment.......

Only 2 seats in this cramped takeaway venue. One was taken and the other had the seat pad missing meaning I had to stand while eating. Food wasn’t fresh. Stodgy as if it had been sat there all day. I struggled to understand the staff members accent. Place run down and dirty. Most disappointing thing was the quality of the food. Shame, as I usually love a KFC. Much better experience to be had at the Aldershot town centre branch.

Popped in here before travelling back for a quick meal. Only customer in store, 3 members of staff behind the counter plus one visible further back, however never got acknowledged or served! Too busy with a member of staff who had done something wrong on the till or was ordering his own tea. Never again!!

The chicken is really well cooked and the staff are very helpful friendly and extremely well trained would say one of the best I have ever been to

You know how it is all of a sudden you fancy a cheeky KFC take away. Started off with a long wait to be served..... wouldn't say it was overly busy but fair enough possibly new staff etc. The wife loves their gravy with chips so when my order turned up I made a point of asking if they had included the gravy, yes yes sir its in the bag.... Had to ask as they didn't include it the last time!!! Sure enough got home NO Gravy and one piece of Chicken missing.... Really its basic arithmetic... buy 3 bits of chicken put 3 in the bag buy 1 pot of gravy put 1 pot in the bag.....come on people!!!! Tried calling i believe 4 times and left answerphone messages but no reply, no sorry we messed your order up and didn't give you what you paid for.... nothing at all! Very very disappointed.

So had kfc for years and never an issue. Today I received my delivery. Chips had no flavour at all was like eating cardboard,chicken strips in my meal where salty tasting. The beans looked like they had been left under a hot lamp for hours dry and horrid. My 2 kids meals. One a mega bucket for 1 chips as stated above, chicken strips salty and the chicken on bin dry. My son's chips same as above his 2 pieces of chicken was ok. Not impressed at all need to retrain staff clearly on how to cook. And what good service is

Dropped into this charming little establishment due to the tantalising aroma of finely crafted poultry wrapped in a delicious shawl of what I believe to be herbs, spices, and magic. Lack of adequate seating did mean I had to stand, but this only added to the atmosphere, a hospitable hub-bub of Guildford's finest patrons, eagerly shifting around the straw dispenseries to avoid getting whacked by the opening door. Such sights! Such sounds! Such shoeware!I opted for a rather cheeky extra gravy with my meal, deftly suggested by a helpful and charismatic serving staff, who may (but was probably not) called Terry. I instantly felt a deep camaraderie with him, and wished to discuss the matter of sides further, but the service was so prompt, I was handed my order in a matter of minutes.And the food, ah! The food! Such boundless delights that no mere mortal should shoulder alone. Lightly tossed potato in crispy coating. A deep swill of gravy. And, of course, the poultry itself. Has our fair British Isles ever beheld anything so beautiful?Would certainly frequent again, once the meat sweats have resided.

Always busy which means food is always freshly cooked. Busy can mean a bit of a wait but better that than food sitting for half an hour on a hot shelf

Waiting for my order to arrive a young gent who was before me came back in and discreetly whispered to the lady behind the counter that his chicken was overcooked. Minutes later the manager arrived and loudly started arguing with the young man that there was nothing wrong with the chicken. The young stood his ground and the manager went away to get him more chicken pieces. And came back moments later and literally threw the container of chicken pieces at the young man and rudely told him to get on his way. KFC you should be ashamed to employ people like this. I will never go thete again as long as that manager is there.

I love KFC, but my family is less keen and my wife even more so. So I do my KFC rounds once every few months. Their service are usually quick but for some reason after the recent KFC logistics fiasco (with the change in delivery service providers), every now and then, some menu items seem to be “sold out”. Overall, this takeaway serves its purpose for a quick, yummy meal. Nothing more, nothing less.

I ordered the Zinger Burger and my partner had the Zinger Wrap.Burger was dry but well presented. Typical Zinger taste.Wrap was just dumped into the bag with the KFC paper just dropped into the bag. Pretty poor really.I thought that this was pretty poor food preparation. The litter left on their shelves should have given me the hint of the poor service. I would not use this KFC again, and go to the one in the shopping precinct.

No place to sit and eat. Its a small takeaway kfc. Not one of the busiest ones. Fries provided with meal were not that crisp.

Food as expected. The door didn’t close properly and was drawing in all the cold from outside making it so uncomfortable to sit in. Definitely speeded up the visit, we couldn’t wait to get out and get back to the hotel to get warm.

Normal KFC food from a small outlet in the centre of town. It isn't the fastest to order as it gets busy but once you order they turn it around in a reasonable time. If you need something quick and easy this works fine and our kids love it.

This is a non-seating KFC outlet. We love KFC chicken but it is on the oily and salty side (which I understand the branch and its cooks cannot change as it is a chain). Hence, we try to eat it sparingly for health reasons and only on selected occasions. So the review is really about the service at this branch and the KFC franchise's food items. The branch layout is fairly cramped and there are limited places to sit. There isn't anything to occupy your time while waiting. However, staff at this branch are fairly efficient and I have seen them handle delicate situations where customers are causing undue fuss and shouting at them. So, kudos to them. As a franchise, I do think KFC is trying to make their food to come more in line with global health trends, such as by introducing the rice box, which are not as oily/salty and are "balanced meals", yet still retains its delicious taste. It's probably cliche to say this but no one else does fried chicken like KFC and that is what makes the brand. Would love to give this KFC outlet a higher rating, but this is effectively a takeaway store.

I was very disappointed in January 2016 when I wrote the first ever review writen by anyone !!! on KFC Guildford....because my concern on the iregularity of the portion sizes ? Quality and portions have improved substancely since January... So thank you to KFC Mgt.

Many fast food joints come in for (often deserved) criticism. However, KFC Guildford presents itself well. Service is usually with a smile, fairly quick and they have never got my order wrong. There is limited seating inside and appears clean and well kept.

How do you review a KFC there's practically no character or individuality across the whole chain. The place was clean, the chicken was cooked and there was nothing crawling in my meal. So top marks for KFC.But seriously the staff were friendly and service was quick. What else can you ask for.

Its just at the top of the High Street. Always have enjoyed there. One problem which I never have to face but my Muslim friends faced is that this outlet is not a halal one.

Surprised that KFC was not listed with TripAdvisor ..to be able to read costumers reviews and notes, before writing mine !!. Went there several times since Christmas; each time for few portions of "spicy chicken wings" to eat away; But so far, 4 times out of 5 purchases,, the wings sizes were very disappointing by their irregularity, each time one of the wings was not even the third in size of the other ones..and once an oblong blob of crispy batter instead !!!...I then returned 3/4 hour later to check if my misfortune was bad luck ? but it was repeated again !!. evidently the staff must be on instruction to push the small outsize peaces, preferably to a middle aged take away costumer who has less chance to challenge the staff and certainly afterwards... It is pity to see this attitude practiced by apparently so called "professionally trained chefs" risking to harm the reputation of a shop...I know it is a minor detail and insignificant complaint coming from an anonimous reviewer but it could have much bigger consequences to the detriment of KFC Guilford.if not addressed and rectified promptly by the Headquarter.( unless the staff have been trained that way !?!..I will return soon when in town and check if it had been rectified to be able to write a better review... ...PLDC..
