We regularly stop here for supper on our way through. It has always been up to scratch. Because we have a dog we have to eat in the car but this is worth it

This KFC is awful. We tried it driving to west wales in July 22 and it was poor but thought we,d give it another go when making the same trip west in August and it was worse!! The service was painfully slow and when we got out meals my wife’s was wrong ( the same as last time). They need to invest in decent management and staff training.

Terrible. Been here before and had a bad experience. Decided to try again. Nothings changed. Half the menu is not available and the wait is ridiculous. Do not waste your time!

So decided to go to KFC crosshands. Big mistake. Been in a queue for a good half hour. So painfully slow. Whilst we were queuing four cars left, wish it were five now. This chicken better be good. At this point I would so don't bother. Also no care taken about the premises. Large weeds everywhere and fag butts visible. Not good KFC crosshands. Serving hatch window also terribly dirty. Presentation is everything. Management need sacking . I feel sorry for the staff, young staff at that. KFC crosshands so your house out. Now

Filthy! We were driving to west wales for a weekend break today, we thought we’d call into the drive thru for a bite to eat. It was disgusting, the place was unkept, overgrown, bins overflowing I would certainly say a lovely place for vermin to live. EHO should visit!!

Called with my daughter this afternoon, never again, we waited ages, they had my order wrong, then waited ages again for correct order, my daughters rice box was ok my food was awful, i had a chicken fillet meal, the chicken was the size of a nugget and probably about 8 grotty chips, i work in the catering trade, in fact been a chef for many years and i cannot believe how utter crap it is there, the bins all broken rubbish all over most definatly an attraction for vermin, good god kfc you need to up your game, the incompetance is astounding!!!!

The first time we visited KFC Crosshands, the food we received was cold (Not tepid or even room temp but cold), upon asking that we exchange the cold food for hot we were told that because they had run out of ready made heated produce the precooked burgers were now coming straight out of the fridge. There was zero attempt to replace, apologise, or compensate for serving cold food. I Left it for six months before the kids convinced me that it was a one off and to try it again, this time at the drive through, the food was at least somewhat warm but the order was wrong, given that there was a very limited menu available I’m surprised this could happen but out of the three meals the only items that were correct were the drinks and the sides. Didn’t bother to go back because the staff were visibly stressed and upset with each other and swearing could be heard through the window. The last time (and that will be the last ever time I go here) I asked for sauce at the final window because there was no indication that it was available before then only to be told that they were 30p each, no problem, I’ll pay now. Nope, there was no till there so I would have to go back through an already backed up drive through queue, so I offered to pay the cash and they could just put it through the till later, but no, this wasn’t possible (I have no idea why because the reason wasn’t given) the gentleman who spoke to me seemed to think I had committed a mortal sin by the way he reacted to what I thought was a reasonable request and the way he spoke to me was rude and unprofessional (given the profanity I overheard on my second visit I assume the hiring team there doesn’t care about customer service, or about anything, at all, ever). Got the food home to find the chips were only partially cooked and the Pepsi drinks were vile, the syrup had obviously been running out given the pale colour but had been ignored by the server. Food was either ridiculously over seasoned (all the burgers) to the point of being inedible, or under seasoned which left a chalky taste. Needless to say that if the kids insist on KFC again we will be going to Carmarthen.

Chicken was ok. After a really long wait. Sweetcorn side went straight in the bin as it was basically rotten. Yuk!! The whole place was a bit dirty and carpark bins overflowing. Will not be repeating this visit!!

We have regularly stopped at this kfc due to convenience when commuting to and from long destinations, usually an ok experience but today - the last. Upon arrival to the first window, we sat and waited to be seen. Before noticing a very small (not noticeable) note in the window to make an order at the next point. Where we sat for a good 15 minutes before being seen to, before seeing any member of staff. Our order was eventually taken and on presenting a blue light card, this was refused because we did not have their chosen ID proof that I was the card holder (we had everything to prove it belonged to myself but a driving license which they wanted - why when everything else had the same details is a mystery - not to mention we have not had this problem in any other kfc place). Food was eventually presented, as this was a ‘quick’ stop on our way to our holiday destination 3.5 hours away - the disappointment did not end there. Sides were missing, condiments were missing (shock), the sides we did have we had no spoon/fork to eat them with. Our drinks.. well they went straight in the bin after the shocking cups they came in. The lids did not fit the (anything they could find) cup that was given, of which quickly came off, leaking everywhere and ended in a car being covered in pepsi. and of course, NO serviette to atleast help with this. Simple tasks that surely should be part of a role? Customer service? shocking. Convenience? None. Disappointing. Never again.

Bought a boneless banquet about 20 mins ago only to find that the chips had blood on them. Have had to throw the rest of my food. Extremely disappointed .

I've been to this KFC a fair few times as its only a 10 minute drive from my front door. I don't think I've ever had a pleasant visit, there has somehow always been an issue with either the service or food. However I visited a few nights ago, I was the second car in the drive thru (looking in there didn't seem to be one customer inside the shop), I sat in my car and waited approximately 10 minutes to place my order, once my order was placed and paid for I was told to park up and they'd bring the order out to me, in this time the car in front had also been told to park up, I sat and waited for another 25 minutes, whilst waiting a further 4/5 cars went through the drive thru and also parked up to wait for their food. My food finally came, I ordered the double gravy bucket which should include 4 pots of gravy (probably the only reason I still went to KFC at this rate), a young lad delivered the food to my car, I looked in the bag briefly and could see everything had been packed up seperately so instead of going through everything I asked 'is everything in here? Including the 4 pots of gravy?' I was assured everything was in the bag. I drove home and suprise suprise, the gravy was missing and half the mini fillets were missing. Thats the last time I'll be visiting this KFC again, time after time I'm left dissapointed, the amount of money I've spent there on food which I've not recieved is ridiculous. Maybe a new store manager is needed as I'm in shock this place is still running.

I took my daughter for a drive through last night and after eventually after about a 40 min queue we got to the order point. They very out of nearly everything. No chicken in KFC what a joke! To be honest you don't deserve one star. Will not be calling again. Very poor.

I used this KFC a few times and it was excellent - norml KFC like all the others but the staff were superb. 2 young guys really had things sorted and with excellent manners.

Just been to KFC Cross Hands, bought two, two piece meals, They were stale, dried up and disgusting ,We came home, Threw the KFC out for the birds and had a cheese sandwich, Needless to say we won't be going back.

If I could rate zero I would. I ordered two meals zinger box and boneless banquet. Drinks there was no ice and we weren't given any straws. The zinger box was meant to come with wings none given and both meals were luke warm and...

Came here this evening and although it was busy. Staff served us quickly and our food was lovely. We felt really safe here, sanitiser provided also saw a staff member disinfecting touch points and tables whilst there. Very pleased overall Thankyou 😋😋 x

Drove 20mins to get my KFC and 20mins to get home after asking Is everything in the bag.to get home to realise they haven't put my 4 gravy sides in my double gravy box meal.clues in the name really.

Service is absolutely shocking. Servers with attitude when asking for some items. Food was cold and chicken was very watery and cheap tasting. All machines off and no gravy 40 minutes before closing. Would much prefer McDonald’s across the road.

Worst KFC every visited. Avoid McDonald’s few mins away if that desperate. Slow service. Horrible tasting food not KFC if you ask me using cheap items. Service 2/10 Food 0/10 Over Overall 2/10

Box Meals received, service was really quite slow. Very small chicken pieces given and we were all left quite disappointed.

This KFC is terrible!!! You sit in the drive through for ages only to be told when u finally reach the window that they have run out of something! It’s ridiculous when they never even seem to be busy but basic items from the menu are always missing! Shocking from a big chain AVOID!!!!!

Went here for a spot of lunch. The inside was clean with plenty of room to sit. The bacon and cheese burger box meal looked good for around £6.50.

Ordered a Krushem at drive through, started drinking it up the Road whilst driving and had to pull over and spit it out! Burned my mouth, tasted sour and strong, smelt like vinegar, now today I have ulcers all in my mouth and a swollen tongue! Went back with the krushem and was offered another one not even an apology and nothing else was said! Shocking!

My wife and I enjoyed a bucket of lovely juicy chicken with all the extras my wife loves all extras whilst I am a pure chicken meat eater a nice meal both enjoyed will go and have been again

Where do I start? Waited 23 minutes to be spoke to through a microphone that was crackly asf by somebody inside, we then got to the 2nd window and he still asked if they were large meals, we informed the guy at the food pick up window(2nd window) that his microphone was crackly and his reply was “yes I know and I don’t know why” we then got handed our meals and drove off, we parked up the road to find out we had to go back to get “sporks” spoon/forks to eat our beans, as I was inside getting sporks I decided I wanted to get some hot wings... I said to my self it will only take 4/5 mins as it’s a fast food place as the “description” says. I waited in the queue of around 6 people for 11 minutes and not even 1 of them was served in that time! I walked out because my food was going cold in the car... but while I was in there I witnessed a guy walking round behind the counter and food preparation area in a vest and pyjama bottoms, the restaurant area was a state, rubbish everywhere, bins overflowing and not to mention the member of staff sat at the table eating his food whilst there was a queue of people waiting, while i was in the carpark eating my mildly warm food I witnessed 3 people go back in and complain and not to mention the amount that walked out when they witnessed the lack of customer service. I will not be returning and would rather travel further afield to another kfc brand for better quality customer service and will not be recommending cross hands kfc to anybody! Absolute disgrace!!!

This is third time we had a crap food from kfc cross hands they have burnt fillet burgers or half cooked chickens and soggy overcooked chips they definitely needs to service their cooking machines

I can't express strongly enough how awful this KFC is I just wish TA had a negative button, on arrival went to ladies both cubicles were dirty and not flushed. Was desperate so tried to flush first ,two push buttons neither worked in either cubicle !!! Went out told young lad behind counter, his reply was oh you have to push both buttons at the same time, I said you should tell you maintenance to look at that it's not right. No response !!!

Picked up lunch through the drive through yesterday ordered one of the finger licking zinger burger s that looked so good on the picture . What I got was an over cooked very small chicken fillet between a burnt bun . Tasted revolting .

Ok we gave it another go....again order wrong missing items and cold food. I appreciate it's probably a franchise, but there must have to be some kind of standards. I have concerns about food hygiene and safety issues in this business as we all felt a bit sick the following day....

One of the best kfc meals ive had. Hot fresh food, plenty of sauce provided. Quick and pleasant service. The place did smell of stale fat though... Have been before and would return.

Don't mind waiting for food but when the order turns up wrong and stone cold it's not good. The place is grubby and lacks any sign of management. Will think twice before coming back.

Food isn't bad but service is slow and we have had the displeasure of seeing a shift manager talking down to his staff in front of full queue and not even attempting to help out. Won't be going back any time soon.

Bought a 6 piece barging bucket and was amazed to find pieces of chicken that I'd never encountered on a bird before. Talk about bone, bone & more bone. I was, however able to recognise the 3 legs that were in there.

I have been into kfc cross hands a few times and Its never been to the standards of what a kfc should be like but I’m not one to complain. But today 18th of August I have NEVER been into somewhere so disgusting in all my life! First of all we ordered our food me and my friends and they didn’t have any of the things we asked for e.g gravy and nothing off the new menu board. So we changed our order and went to sit down, the condiment bar was empty we could not access the things we needed. Then we went to sit down and there was NO WHERE to sit down as ALL tables were dirty, food everywhere, sticky tables and chairs and and spilt drinks that looked like they had been there for ages. So we sat down on a table that was not wiped but atleast it didn’t have food all over it (just sticky and horrible). As we sat down we noticed how horrible the bin areas were and the floors. When we walked in there was not a single person in the store and we sat down for at least 30 mins and there was only one more costumer that walked in. There was NO excuse for the place to be as disgusting as it was, I have honestly never been to a fast food place so dirty in all my life. As we went to leave we politely told the boy on till that there was no need for the place to be this dirty when there are no people in the store, and his excuse was it was busy earlier on and that is not an excuse as while we sat in there someone could have wiped the tables down and swept up a little bit. As I work in a fast food restaurant myself I never complain because I know how hard it can be but when staff are standing around not serving there is no excuse for the store to be in such a discrace! I will NOT be returning back to kfc in cross hands again! Apaulling! I would advice to get this sorted before inviromental health walk in and shut you down in a flash!

Where do I even begin, waited 13 minutes for our food didn’t even get an apology. There we people in the que for overs 20 mins still waiting to place their order, they were concerned about drive thru rather than customers in the store. When speaking to a member of staff to ask why customers and still queuing but cars are getting orders straight away he replies ‘drive thru is priority’ absolutely awful. Food was cold, didn’t have anything that we wanted. Poor management.

Having good food in this place is like Russian Roulette you have a 1 in 6 chance of having a good meal.

After the joke of KFC running out of chicken you would think stock was well managed....think again. Called on a Sunday after rugby, they did not have any bottles of pop but could offer 4 cup drinks- we were 5!

First ever visit was greeted by a very attentive and friendly assistant called Katie. A true asset to the company.

Went into the drive-through and was asked "to wait a second." This turned into six minutes before I was shunted to the exit counter. Then waited again until a voice gruffly asked what I wanted. After ordering I presented my Colonel's Card to be told "it doesn't work here." Food was then given to me semi-cold. Yuk!

Food & service was excellent & punctual: I have no complaints whatsoever. Would recommend to friends

The whole point of a drive through is ‘fast food!!!’ Not at this place stuck for 30 minuets in the drive through queue and unable to escape 😖 hope it is worth it.

No credit cards were accepted on the day we visited - that was okay, however! Then the girl serving just walked off once we said okay, just as we were making our order - part way through.

For all those who have an accelerator, press hard and imagine you are being chased by Dick dasterly and muttly get away quick. 3 times visited and always an issue cold, wrong order, missing items and rude staff. I work very close by so have been several times over the last few months and I always ask for no mayo in my burger and have even got them to repeat my order and am yet to get a burger without mayo. The foods always hot but nearly every single time something is missing or wrong! So disappointing when I get it back to the shop! Make sure you check your order every time from the drive through

The food we ordered was cooked to perfection and was nice and hot, staff were nice and friendly and couldn't do enough for you.

This KFC is one of the cleanest places I have been and also the staff there is very kind and helpful.

I've eaten in a lot of kfc restaurants in my time and this one is the best friendly polite helpful staff .. and food always hot and fresh .. nothing too much trouble and you never wait too long either ..overall it is the cleanest kfc in this area .. the nest one around

You don't go to KFC for its fine dining, more for its convince and this place compares favourably to other KFC's. Staff are very friendly and food was fine.

This is our local KFC. Fortunately, this particular one is usually good quality wise.. However.... each time we have been something is wrong or missing!! I could forgive the odd mistake here and there but I've never known anything quite like it. On one particular occasion we had to take our order back 3 times! Trying to deal with some of the staff is like talking to a phone pole but at least the food is good.

If you know what KFC is then you'll be happy to eat here. If your expecting A La Carte Organic Free Range Corn Fed Chicken from a fine dining restaurant you'll be disappointed. Ive rated 5 as I know what you expect from a KFC and this one is very very clean and the staff have a very high level of customer service.

I would not normally review takeaways but being a new KFC and eaten in many throughout the country I found this to be really clean.The food is fresh and the surroundings nice.

We went there on a Tuesday and the offer was 9 pieces of chicken for £5.99.

Having worked a 12 hour shift met my husband and daughter! Had delicious supper we had the boneless bucket with fries and delicious gravy! It was very hot and tasty as they used to say " finger licking good" The offer had 12 pieces of chicken 4 fries 2 large sides and a bottle of pop of your choice!

Your typical kfc! Much faster service than the kfc in Llanelli. Food is always good in the day, cold if you go after 8pm (don't think they like to cook fresh just before the close as they also say they have run out of many of the stuff!!) only really bad thing is the location. It's right on Cross Hands roundabout and pulling in and out is going to cause a massive accident one day. Hope it wont but unfortunately there have been a few near misses! Be careful driving in and out!

Called in on the way home one Saturday afternoon and the place was pretty quiet. I was surprised that the paper napkins had run out and the staff were not doing anything in particular. I asked if they had any gluten free options available and the server disappeared for a few minutes behind a screen only to return and advise that he was 'Not authorised to give dietary advice' but I can give you a phone number to ring! So you don't do gluten free then? He again replied: ' I am not authorised to give dietary advice' but I can give you a phone number to ring! So the answer is no then? 'I am not authorised.........'! In this day and age it is very surprising that an establishment of this magnitude does not cater for Coeliac sufferers in their restaurants. I left empty handed and a little flabbergasted!
