Kfc in Hartlepool

Can't believe that we stayed and ordered food, the seating area was not clean,food and packaging on the floor and tables . Staff were just standing around not doing anything ,we had to ask for a table to be cleaned,which was done, but they didn't do any others.

Completely useless place where the staff couldn’t give a damn A cultural reset from scratch is needed I thought for a change I would treat myself to a kfc instead of McDonald’s I got to the drive through and the first window was screened of as per photo a staff member was nearby walking around the car park and politely said for me to drive to the collection window to order When I got to the collection window I politely waited and a brunette staff member opened the hatch and shouted at me without warning that I hadn’t ordered at the first window I asked her calmly if she thought she was being polite as per she should be She said that she hadn’t done anything wrong so I drive away without reply and am typing this from McDonald’s nearby where a business is actually being ran rather than ran into the ground

Empty place should name it just eat or Uber eats as that's all it caters for lazy people who can't be bothered to go out, however the zinger burger fell apart in the bun very dry chicken been a few times and standards have dropped however happy friendly staff was a plus. Can't say I will return.

The place was too cold! There was no heating on. We have kindly asked if they can do something about the heating, the other staff said we don't know.. then after a while , another one from our group asked again and then they said it was broken... It was too coold and unsuitable for dining in. t was even warmer in the car, one customer also said. When our order was finally called, I mention my concern to the staff. The other staff was very apologetic, but the other staff ( she was wearing a baseball cap with headset over..cant seem to see her name badge) who apppears to be in charge that day , my goodness, her attitude is nowhere near customer service! She just brushed aside and said that they can't do anything about it and that the heater has been broken for a long time.. even their reasonings doesn't appear to be consistent about the heating! My rationale to her , was that , they could have mentioned when we ardered that the heating was broken ..and are we still okay to dine in despite that? We even tried to order hot drinks because we said it was cold, and even that was unavailable . My argument here was that, We paid to dine in, it was 5C outside that time... We were cold while eating! the place was unsuitable for dining in that time and yet it was Never mentioned. When I spoke to the staff I want to make it point that maybe next time, let customer know and at least we could have had a choice and not proceed with the order. The attitude of that particular staff, is very disappointing. I didnt expect her to fix the heater... but she could maybe just try to be apologetic Never again for KFC Marina. You have let us down, specially some staff members.

we went here wanting to take the kids out before the cinema, temps were minus 6 outside and there was no heating in the restaurant, it was absolutely freezing in there, staff were shivering and to add insult to injury the place was disgusting and dirty, I have never seen such a disgrace. do not order from here under any circumstances you are very likely eating all sorts of germs from unwashed hands as theres no hot water or heating. SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

Absolutely FUMING this place is absolutely disgusting and I will never be ordering from there ever again, I ordered my food it took 2 hours to come and half my order was missing I then contacted them and complained which then I was put onto the manager and she explained to me that it has nothing to do with them and I should contact just eat, baring in mind her attitude was vile, costs nothing for manner but costs me for half my food that is missing, I then had the phone put down on me by the manager herself!

Collected a mega party sharing box and extra hot wings.Freezing cold, not even luke warm. Rang to complain and told if drove back & returned it could get a replacement or refund. Obviously got the refund. No offer of any gesture of good will. So we had to do two return journeys, Mother's Day treat out the window and all for nothing.Thanks KFC. Should of listened to the previous bad reviews

Received a meal from here a few weeks ago. Found what looked to be some sort of insect wing (which had black legs are hairs attached to it) in the gravy rang to complain and spoke to a very unhelpful, in experienced, patronising young employee and I'm still waiting for a manager to ring me back(after numerous attempts to try speak with one). Customer service is almost as disgusting as the food and hygiene standards. I certainly wouldn't recommend or use this establishment again. Very poor hygiene standards that the staff seem to find acceptable.

This has to be the worst fast food I have ever eaten. It was so bad I barely ate half of it. My order was taken and by the time I drove to the second window my order was already being handed out of the window. The fries wear dark brown, overcooked and grease ridden. I also ordered a chicken fillet sandwich which was dripping with grease and seemed to be thrown together with brown old lettuce, the chicken was gristly and cold and the bun was stale and falling apart because it was so dry. They did however manage to get the drink right which is the only plus regarding this meal. I will never ever obtain food from this chain of restaurants again. I will make sure everybody I know knows about this place. Completely disappointing, I am surprised they manage to stay in business.

Ordered from KFC waited over an hour for it to be delivered. Food was cold and greasy and totally inedible. Contacted KFC and was told not their fault its the drivers and to contact the driver. This is not how do you deal with a customer complaint at all. Would give 0 stars or negative if I was allowed. I started is too many!

Drive through order. cold chips and colder gravy, got a boneless box but not the greatest, also asked for sauce and salt and got neither. Standards dropped drastically, wouldn't of been bothered if it was nice but 25 minute queue to feed the seagulls and pay for the privelage wasn't worth it.

Hartlepool kfc is a joke. 2 nd time no gravy in take out, even asked have you put the gravy in and she stated yeah just put in it. Either liars work there, thieves or just totally incompetent. Possibly all three

very unorganised staff and not friendly,the food was dreadful,what a waste of money the worst KFC I've ever had,had to go there as it was late on sunday when I arrived,think I'd rather go without,if there was an option I wouldn't give it any stars.

Very happy helpful girl on the counter. Ordered a platter thing each. Popcorn chicken, chicken gougons, chips, Popcorn chicken bits were not very Crunchy but tasty. Chicken gougons very nice. Decent quality chicken and nice coating. Proper chips were ok but, could have been a bit crunchier. Don't know where all the complainers visted?

Unfriendly service. Food was okay. A simple “Hello” or “Thank You” would be welcomed... not to mention they start to serve the next person giving the customer already at the till a “Hurry up and move” sense of being. I can put up with alot in fast food places but not rudeness.

The dining area was very clean, the staff member who served us was helpful and friendly, and the time we waited was minimal.Forgot our popcorn chicken and they were very apologetic, overall the food was good and we are all loving the fries now there skins have been kept on.Will return.

Handy for takeaway to nearby Travelodge. Couldn’t eat in as major refurb stating minutes later! Chicken well cooked and red hot,

I was served by an extremely rude member of staff who clearly doesnt know anything about customer service ! I wont name her but maybe she would be better in the kitchen and not serving people her attitude towards customers is shocking! I thought it was just me until I was waiting for my food and witnessed her serving others 1 lady asked to change her deink choice at the till she rolled her eyes and tutted at her!

was in with my 2 autisic children and was slow only one person on and had to wait for food for a while

Over the past 12 months this eating establishment has pulled its socks up, have tried it a few times before posting. The quality, freshness of the food has improved dramatically, place is clean and staff friendly. Well done

Just been here, chicken was already packed in a box when I turned up! Gravy already potted, large popcorn chicken already boxed, just waiting for chips they said, I waited then they bagged it all up and I said that’s been there before I turned up, it was cold, poor lass was told by the supervisor to put it back in for someone else and give me my money back, disgraceful, if had my hands on it to show it was cold, KFC you should hold your heads in shame

They have just failed an inspection because they didn't throw out the chicken from the week before and because staff was not checking dates correctly and the manager Stephen Wallace not following through on his opening checks meant they still served this out of date chicken.

I've said time and time again that I won't use hartlepool kfc but today had to be the last straw. I went about 2pm and the place was dead (nobody in the whole place) I was told it was a 7 min wait on chicken fillet burgers and sat patiently...for 15 mins! Finally took my order (take away) and got home and found a burger with no coating, no 11 spices, limp lettuce and it looked like the staff had kicked it around the shop before they served it!

Interesting to see others think things improved. We felt this to be the case with our take away also. Much better chicken in particular but all very good and still red hot when back in the travelodge.

Went in with extended family after not going in for many months. What a massive improvement, friendly efficient staff, the food was excellent. Nice clean surrounding will be back. Thank you.

Mini bucket for one - loads of chicken for £6.29, what’s not to like. Food hot and service quick, standard KFC.

Called in here to grab a quick bite - it's what you expect from the chain but cooked fresh - had a few minutes to wait for the order. Please sort out the temperature of the restaurant it was freezing in there!!

Useless staff who can't seem to EVER get my order right. Been in today no large cups so had to have two smaller ones and only got them when I asked why she hadn't given me the right size. When I got home and opened box had wrong size fries and they were cold plus no salad on burger and that was cold too. This is just an example of what happens every single time you go to KFC Hartlepool. Staff are useless and more concerned about where they are going on their next night out. They need to take more attention to customers.

The night we visited the food was on form, fresh and red hot. Friendly chat with staff who had a good attitude so no complaints from either of us. Near to Travelodge.

like all KFC's - decent staff, clean, good parking, food was typical KFC and decent standard, hot and fresh in this instance..

Haven't been in a KFC for years but staying in a travelodge so went in here for something to eat but what a disappointment. The food was Luke warm at best and tasted like it had been sat for ages waiting to be served! Not impressed and I won't be rushing back to another KFC.

Excellent service , great chicken, very clean and tidy place to eat, and very friendly staff, we often call in here on a regular basis , as it is close to the cinema and we go once a wk.

Slimy halal crap ...cold food ,years ago KFC was lovely but now it's awful. Might as well close down

Every time I go to KFC I go through the drive thru and they always forget to put the full order in the bag. Been numerous of times and always something missing from the order. Poor customer service.

Always like come to KFC if I am in Hartlepool. I have never had a bad meal from here. The food was hot and nice.

Come here when going to the cinema normally, and is always nice never had a bad one yet. Always quick service 👍

Staying at the travelodge next door we decided to get a takeaway from kfc. It was so good that we decided to do the same the next day. This time the chicken in the bargain bucket was so dry and tough that we couldn't eat most of it.

Not at all impressed with this KFC, staff struggle to understand cold food is not on. Nothing worse than cold fries! Too much chatting and having a good time to ensure food served is at least warm! Not going back!

Just been to KFC in Hartlepool and what an utter disgrace of service I was given. I wanted an original recipe wrap and when I was greeted by the service assistant from KFC, she wasn't welcoming at all. I asked for this wrap and she said "Is it alright if it isn't toasted" as though they couldn't be bothered to turn the toaster on to toast it as it is late on and they would have to clean it again.

Staff are absolutely rude and need a lesson in customer service. Restaurant is absolutely filthy no wonder it had a rat problem...

Very nice and hot. Got my usual 2 pieces of chicken chips and a drink. Used my reward card. Sat down and ate in with my dad and sister. It is near to the marina but didn't have enough time to see it this time.
