KFC in Conwy

I visited the Llandudno Junction branch mid afternoon yesterday. I went to the counter, I was the only customer and waited for over 5 minutes while the 2 staff chatted and casually wandered around gathering food orders handing it to the delivery driver. I wasn't acknowledged at all even though they had seen me. I had to ask if anyone was serving, the member of staff wandered over with the enthusiasm of a sloth and said if I was paying by card I could order at the machine....I ensured her I was aware of that but was paying cash. I ordered my food, no 'thank you' or 'sorry for the wait'. 5 minutes later I was handed my 2 pieces of chicken (that was all I ordered) ...the bag was thrust at me and the staff member turned around and marched off to continue her important chat about Saturday night. Shocking customer service. Used to be good here but no longer. Will definitely never use this branch again.

Awful service by young people clearly not trained. Floor greasy and generally unclean and tired look. Slow and poor service. Avoid

Haven't been there for a while. It's annoying and confusing having to order everything on a screen. Kids meals don't come with chips unless you add them and theres a long wait. The vegan burger is so overpriced. £5.49 for a half cooked nearly cold burger with a bit of lettuce. MacDonalds is much better value!

Found this KFC in Llandudno Junction to be excellent. Very clean, tables wiped almost immediately, and the lady assistant was not only polite but very helpful, ensuring customers were well attended. Food was hot and fresh. Couldn’t fault the service or cleanliness of this particular branch. Very impressed, having been to many others that are poor in comparison.

Has this place gone under new management? It’s usually awful and has been for years. Went there today. A lovely, cheerful lady employee was in the restaurant area. The place was spotless. The tables were gleaming. This lady brought our food and drinks to us at our table, with a lovely smile. It was so unexpected. Wonderful table service and spotlessly clean. Whoever this lady is, what a great asset she is to that place. Keep her front of house doing what she is doing as that place will turn around. Food was brought to our table quickly and most importantly, it was red hot and fresh.

Just want to write a review to show appreciation for the lady working the floor in KFC called Helen. The best service we have ever seen in the fast food industry. Should be proud of herself! The table next to us were really hard work and she didn’t sway from her customer service skills and kindness. She should be awarded

Cold chips, cold beans, greasy chicken, very watery Gravy snd 7 chicken legs in a bucket of l0. Just awful!!!!!!

Popped in because the drive through was spilled onto the road. Two people in front of me had been served and were waiting, not particularly busy inside but there were a few people sat down who I also found out were waiting. The hold up seemed to be for two Just Eat employees who all of the staff were talking to and seemed unbothered by a growing queue. After I put my order in, it was all about the 4 staff members looking after the Just Eat guys whilst ignoring everyone else. After they'd finally sorted the Just Eat people out, orders started getting called for everyone who'd been waiting ages. Its poor. Next time I see Just Eat people at the front, I'll be walking back out. I only ordered 2 Wraps and they were over filled with Mayonnaise.

Food came very fast and was piping hot. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Chicken was tasty if a bit greasy, coleslaw was good and salad would not advise as a side.

Terribly slow service as ever at KFC drive through. Ordered meals and drinks. Waited 20 minutes. Given food by surly female staff member. Checked bag, no straws. When we asked for straws she ignored us for several minutes then argued that they were in the bag. Eventually gave us straws. We drove away and then found that the portion of fries was less than half of what it should have been, on both orders. Plus we ordered cherry coke and coke, but both drinks given were cherry cokes. Awful service.

Excellent service, delicious and piping hot food served to the table. Lovely lady called Helen was top notch in customer service and needs a special mention! Will look forward to coming back

Slow ordering, around 20 minutes to wait after order at drive through. Food cold, numerous items missing, dirty establishment and poorly trained and motivated staff.

Visited KFC today at lunchtime. Ordered 3 meals through the drive through. Waited for around 30 minutes in the queue, finally got to the last window hopeful we would get our meal. However the car in front was being handed individual items every now and again whilst we waited and waited. Not sure why they didn’t tell them to park up and the order would be brought out like McDonald’s do?? We finally got to the window and our order was sitting on the side, waiting to be handed to us. This meant that it was only luke warm when we got it. Pepsi Max was horrible, like a cheap cola, don’t believe for a second it was genuine Pepsi. Horrible meal, should have gone to McDonald’s like we usually do.

I ordered in the drive through and whilst waiting the staff were smoking where the bins are kept. On turning the corner I was horrified to see all the rat traps lined up. Not surprising really as the grounds are disgusting. The lady on the till got most of my order wrong and we had to do multiple more transactions to get it right by putting through things I’d not ordered! I’m guessing she was training but she was pleasant and apologetic. At the end of the day most of us have been in that position whilst training and we all make mistakes. On getting home one of my items (a wrap) was missing I was cross because it always happens to me with KFC. The order is never right! To my horror when I lifted out the gravy I ordered they’d put in beans! It was also a regular size when I’d upgraded to large. It tipped me over the edge as kfc is all about the gravy right and I returned the whole meal to store. I was told the large meals do not come with large gravy, well they used to so hands up I got it wrong my mistake. When complaining the lad on the counter was awful. He wasn’t wearing his name badge. He told me I didn’t need to bring the food back as I was wasting food. No apologies. In fact I felt quite interrogated as he was asking for proof of order. They didn’t give me a receipt so he came back and said he’d looked through the orders and couldn’t find mine. I’m not surprised when the lady on the till got it wrong and we had to do multiple transactions! It turned out apparently I wasn’t charged for the wrap hence it not being in my bag. I had to take his word for it as I had no receipt. He rectified my gravy from beans and charged me for a new wrap and sent me on my way. It was his attitude that really stank. He certainly needs training in customer service. He acted like he was doing me a favour by rectifying my meal and told me I should of done without the gravy and wrap and told the staff next time I go in! I’m sorry if I order and pay for it I don’t want it in a few weeks I want it now. Whilst waiting the latte machine broke and the new lady that had served me on the drive through was struggling and he was not helpful with her. What ever happened to working together. Lastly there was another lad on the counter whom I spoke to who was so apologetic. He is an asset to the company. He should be invested in and trained for a managerial role. Unfortunately I didn’t see his name badge.

I was appalled to see the state of the female toilets. There was urine on the floor, the toilet did not flush and there was paper littered all over the floor. Allegedly these toilets are checked regularly, that does not seem to be the case....

The place needs a manager that can manage, the place is badly run, the food preparation poor and slow, wait times are ridiculous and the staff attitude is appalling, surprised anyone goes in there.

We ordered two zinger box meals, the only hot item was the piece of chicken the burger and popcorn chicken were lukewarm and the chips were stone cold, at least the seagulls enjoyed the chips. Very disappointing.

I broke down in the drive thru on a Friday night!The 2 male staff members that helped me were wonderful,they pushed my car around the drive thru and made me feel so at ease with the whole situation.They offered to discount my next order if the food was cold by the time we got home and pushed the car to a safe place to park until I could get it recovered.Nothing was too much trouble for them even though it was obviously a very busy time for them.Thank you so much for looking after us.

you get a decent portion of food for the price, it is in a convenient location and staff are wearing ppe when they serve you. i have had to wait in a queue sometimes but not for ridiculous amounts of time

We don’t frequent fast food places very often, but tonight we needed to make an exception. I tried to order the boneless chicken meal; as found on the website menu as a meal for one. I was told it didn’t come as a meal, so I couldn’t have the healthy sides I had selected, I was told it had fried and a drink. I tried to choose a drink, but no choice was offered. The choice my husband wanted wasn’t available either as it is a limited menu due to covid. He selected something else. I added my sides as extras. When we got home our £14+ meal had one drink and fries with my husbands meal I had literally chicken strips and two sides. No dip, no fries. I did call to speak to the manager; no answer. I left a message requesting a callback; no response. Very poor customer service, has not changed my mind about fast food, I certainly won’t be going back to this KFC.

Every time I have been the chips are soggy and cold why can’t kfc do good chips . Ruins the whole meal

I was served on two separate occasions by a lovely young man named Jordan. I was was unsure of what I wanted to begin with but he was extremely helpful, explaining all the different menu options, and putting up with me. He was nothing but kind and professional. On a separate occasion I was served by a man named Cameron. He was very professional. I will 100% will be coming back with my grandchildren.

My son and his friends went, waited in the queue to be told take out only and they would have to eat outside in the rain!! They asked if they could wait for a table and was refused!! Absolutely Terrible! They have now taken there custom else where!

Visited today around 3pm, the lady behind the counter was quite frankly rude. Upon paying I was using my change up so began getting my coins out when she huffed as if I was taking up her valuable time when the restaurant was dead! When the food was ready she dumped the food on the counter then the drinks and walked off, no ‘there you go’ ‘there’s your food have a good day’ , just chucked it on the counter & walked off! Very rude & very unprofessional.

Covid Risk cooking without masks - bought food and told beehive was wearing a mask who handled food. This is not true. KFC in Llandundo junction is a covid risk. 5 of the members of staff we saw were wearing face masks and one numb nut of a lad with a beard who was cooking had refused to wear and face mask. Manager said she couldn’t force him to do so. We got a refund handed food back disinfected ourselves and off we went. IMHO I think anyone preparing food for service should have to wear a face mask otherwise they could cough on your food and spread covid.!! KFC have duty of care that they were not undertaking and should make all customers feel safe not had young stupid lads not wearing face masks whilst cooking!!

I'm a regular here, frequenting the drive thru when I don't want to cook what is in my pantry. I like to think I have fairly high standards when it comes to food, and to be completely honest, the food from this KFC chain meets those standards and expectations on a consistent basis.I mean, sure, sometimes it is a bit overpriced for what you get. That's life, you know? However, it's worth the money, especially when - as I have mentioned - I really.. really don't want to cook what is in my pantry.Thank you!

Bought a boneless banquet meal, I don't know why I haven't learnt my lesson yet! I want to say it was like a dogs dinner but I don't think I'd even feed my dog it. The staff all look like they're victims of a zombie apocalypse, not one bit of enthusiasm. The food definitely radiated the depressing tones of this KFC!!P. S on the picture - I don't know who's nibbled on my chicken but it definitely wasn't me, and the excitement by the 3 minus 2 chips just topped the meal. The whole thing went in the bin, including the stale cookie for afters!?!

We called here for lunch yesterday at 12:15 pm The restaurant was nicely busy We ordered the chicken dip bucket which came with fries round chicken nuggets potato mash and corn on the cob all freshly cooked including a large bottle of Coca Cola The chicken strips we very tasty and perfectly cooked The side dishes also well presented This KFC is situated close to the cinema and very accessible from the A55Staff fine and friendly I really don’t understand comments about staff as we usually find whilst working for a low wage they are well presented etc The restaurant was very clean A very nice chicken lunch at a very affordable price C

Had the misfortune to experience the staff at this restaurant on route to a holiday in halfterm.Whilst the food was edible and facilities ok the staff at this restaurant are so rude and unfriendly I really would prefer to avoid this restaurant in the future.

Regularly go to this KFC. Usually go to the drive through. Get the food quickly and is always hot and tasty. Staff are friendly and helpful and have been many ,many times and it's always nice. Love the new sides of mash potatoes and goes nice with gravey!! Thanks to the staff and team at KFC.

Visited after watching a movie very dissapointed not a lot of people in the restaraunt yet the place was filthy they had closed one area off as it had just been cleaned all the tables were filthy food waste left on tables and floors not one table was clean. Complained then one staff member came to wipe the table but did not brush floor orclean the seats which had tomato ketchup all over and paper plates on floor,group of teenagers sat in corner throwing food around and very loud and intimidating yet no one approached them all other tables were left uncleand we were refused to go sit in cleaned area yet it was only 8.30pm food was cold and no dips given as was stated with our meal, had to ask for some but was given sashes of tomatoe ketchup the side of beans was solid no sauce and was scalding hot but rest of food cold and the fries were unedable as was cold and been cooked a while before and been left standing. The young man that was supposedly be meant to clean just stood doing nothing when it was clear that all empty tables were filthy plus the floor will not be going back to this kfc again had to give a score to write review but would have scored a 0 if i could avoid at all costs

Visited this afternoon for lunch. Unfortunately the first burger that I was served was cold in the middle. They replaced it no questions, however the second burger had been microwaved to get it hot - the chicken was like rubber and couldn't chew it to actually eat any. When I went back the only explanation given was 'well the meat is hitting tenperature'!!! They did give me my money back for the burger

We have used this branch a few times and although we hope for improvement, it doesn't get any better. This time one of our party was met with difficulty in using his student rewards and was advised to contact KFC to discuss so they could perhaps 'compensate' him, when he rang and quoted the member of staff as advised he was told they don't offer compensation ‍♀️ he was made to feel like he wanted something for nothing and was only following advise for a poor system. The food took ages and the place looks shabby and unclean. Would not recommend.

I made a mistake with ordering tried to correct this staff member unhelpful gave up left 10 mins of our lunch as for nothing

Visited this establishment sometime in may, our fellow business colleagues were very happy with the drive thru service and the food, Cameron Westwood delivered a superb service, he described himself as a very hard worker.

The chicken was lovely but they have changed the fries and they are horrible, soggy and cold I wouldn't even call them fries,bring back the thin crispy fries.

As a reasonably frequent KFC visitor around the UK, I have to admit you seem to get used to the amount of grease the chicken (on the bone my preference) has. This is the first time in many years where the chicken I was served was amazing not at all greasy, how it should be and as tasty as usual.

Went to KFC last night and ordered zinger box meal with a coleslaw side and Pepsi max, a popcorn snack box and regular Pepsi max.

I've been consistently to this KFC for years, and must say it's fantastic, there are some occasions where the food isn't to standard (mostly due to how warm it is), but most of the time it's great. Staff are really friendly as well.

Passed through the drive through, ordered 2 flaming wraps, once paid for and received, we discovered that thecwraps were stone cold, normally toasted .. went in to complain and we were just simply told that the toasting machine had been turned off.. this was 10:30 pm and they serve until 11pm . Had we have known this prior we would not have purchased the “Flaming Wraps”

ordered two cheese and bacon boxes was not impressed the chips were cold and i must have missed the bacon the only good thing was the sweet corn

Had a Zinger burger and decided to eat it straightaway whilst it was hot. Problem was, it was barely warm and unenjoyable.

We arrived at 8pm to order our food, we had to wait a while to be served because the tills were playing up! Ordered a wicked zinger tower meal and my husband ordered a bacon and cheese fillet meal. Got to the table, mine hadn’t been towered, took it back and got spoken to by a gentleman with glasses and he said ‘you haven’t paid for it to be towered’ I replied, I ordered it so must have done, he replies you want it towered it will cost you another 60pence, which stupidly I paid. By this point, the other food was going cold! Tucked in to my chicken wings to find the chicken still RAW! At this point we left! The customer service is appalling and won’t be visiting again anytime soon

Walked in and there was tables full of rubbish and the reason why was because all of the bins were overflowing. Also the floors were so sticky and unclean. It was a little busy so I was expecting a wait, but we were waiting for such a long time for our food. When we got our food the only thing that wasn't cold was my tea, and even my tea was disappointing, it was only half full. When eating my food it wasn't too bad until I noticed one of my chips were green, put me right off. The place was very understaffed and I have noticed that the past few times I have visited as well. This KFC needs to do something as it has been very disappointing for me the past few times I have visited which is a shame because it used to be really good and I enjoyed visiting.

KFC isn't exactly a 5 star restaurant and I don't expect the best food but I certainly expect a good level of customer service. I ordered a zinger box meal, towered up with a side of chips. I was aware that there was going to be a slight delay because apparently one of the fryers was broken which can't be helped. After a long wait, I got my box meal and as always, they put coleslaw in even though I asked for extra chips instead.

Was served by Lucy in Llandudno Junction KFC, at first I thought she was lovely whilst taking our order through the speaker THEN got to the window realised she was being overly sarcastic and rude. Basically threw our food into our hands and whilst giving her the money she didn’t use ANY manners saying she had no time to sort the change for us, also walked away after throwing our food without asking if we wanted any sauces or napkins. Don’t remember Lucy being like this in McDonalds, if you don’t like your job at KFC go back to McDonalds ...

Food was mediocre, had dipping feast, they forgot the dips! Restaurant itself was filthy! Tripped on the way in on rope laying in the door way! Litter all over the place. All the tables were dirty, had to clean table and benches before we could sit and eat, whilst staff sat eating or standing around chatting! All bins were overflowing! Disgusting! Will Not be returning

Disgusting food that is only fit for the bin.... It has got to be one of the worst KFC meals I have had on the North Wales Coast.... It would be so nice if the staff had some manners but sad to say they haven't maybe that to do with training.... KFC if you are going to charge ridiculously high prices for this muck please do it with a smile on the faces of your staff, myself and family will never again purchase meals from here again much improvements are needed...

Ok so food was fine and staff where good. It was busy (ish) but all the bins where full so ended up leaving the rubbish on the table which I don't like. Then we get to the toilets which are horrible. The door to the men's is hard to open then inside one toilet broken and the toilet area is small. Worse is the insanely sloppy floor which I am guessing was cleaned with soap only and no water. Maybe employ more staff and teach them how to use a mop correctly. The toilets should at least work and the door fixed. But as I say food was a good standard

Whilst visiting this place today

So I decided I fancied a big daddy meal the other night drove down went through the drive through asked for (big daddy) “ oh sorry we don’t do them anymore) .. no bother il have a fillet tower meal instead right? Nope.. they have no hash browns, it didn’t stop there when I asked for a flaming wrap.. no wraps. No coleslaw, only Pepsi or Pepsi max .. anyway after all this frustration at the final window I ask for mayo..”we have ketchup” .. why even open your store seriously? Don’t get me wrong It’s not the teams fault it’s the management!!

Last time there yesterday. Run out of every thing and chicken tasted months old. Felt sick later. Will not return at all.

Thought we would visit to get some food as we had my daughter from Durham and Cleveland down. We wanted the bargain bucket and various others things such as drinks and Krushems for the family to enjoy but this turned out to be a bad idea. Staff behind the till were rude and didn’t care at all you could tell. The place looked filthy and disgusting like it’s been left all day as napkins and salt things were all over the floor. Surfaces were all sticky and the card machine for some reason didn’t want to work for us. After all this dilemma to get our food we received it 10-15 minutes later. After taking it home we realised some things we ordered were missing and the mini fillet burger we asked to be plain was nothing plain at all. Drinks tasted flat and the krushems were just ice cream with no Oreo bits in sight. We will definetly not be visiting this store again. Worst service I have ever seen in my years on earth.

Usual kfc food as you would find any other kfc staff very young and doing good job handy just off the A55, but don’t eat in the place is freezing in side

Went to KFC for a quick lunch and the service at the drive through was very slow and it wasn't even busy. We got to final windows and the women who served us was very rude and seemed like she couldn't be bothered being there at all. We ordered the double down burgers TOTALLY OVERPRICED. It seemed like it was just slapped together. There was more fat than chicken. Would not recommend to anyone.

This is the best KFC there is! Always hot and fresh, good sized chicken fillets not shrunken by the heat like some places.

Carpark was good, seemed to be one big car park and not splint into sections that can be tricky sometimes if you say park in another resaurant's by mistake.

Aunque el servicio es rápido. . Cada vez que vamos nos hace mal. . Así que nos han dado. . . Que es una vergüenza. . . Otros kfc no hacen mal nosotros.

Having not had a KFC for some time due to previous bad experience, I decided to give it a go and see how things had improved over the years. My mistake! This place is horrific. The food is expensive and not at all pleasant to eat. I used the drive through and they missed out most of my order. They also seemed to be having a lot of fun in the kitchen area so they did not appear to be giving my food the attention I would like it to be given! Basically a lot of youngsters work in there and there seems to be little to not management overseeing standards. Don't bother - lots of other places to eat nearby. I did complain about my experience however they didn't apologise and were really bothered.

Cannot complain with this KFC been a few times and get served quickly allways seats available and is very clean. Staff are polite and easy to approach. The food is great and hot aswell. I have never had to go back to the staff at this branch and complain about cold food, tables, toilets, floors are all clean. The only gripe I have is that they had air con on in December and January a day the front door wouldn't close properly when people came through it so it does get a bit of a draft coming through which is annoying. Other than that would return again. Gotta say it's a lot cleaner than the KFC in Manchester where they leave tables dirty and food allover the floor, with like warm food and poor customer service.

What you would expect from a fast food establishment quick easy to order and average quality, staff below average customer service, however you get what you pay for.

This is not a good example of a KFC. Chicken is always good but that's twice I've left my drink and chips behind. Won't be spending time there again
