We had the bird and the beast deal of the day meal! Great value for money and the food was perfect 10/10

I'm not exaggerating, by far the best burgers I've ever eaten. The chicken strips are next level and they're not tight with the portions.

Halloumi burger was amazing - chips were okay. Was a busy day so they didn’t have a few things on the menu. Service was okay.

Excellent burgers as always, we don't order very often but are never disappointed. We had the brisket burger this time and it was sooooo good, really tasty. Ordered online for a delivery arrived within the timescale. Will always recommend.

Outstanding experience was has during our visit we happened to stumble into the sax bottomless brunch session even though we hadn't booked they were extremely accommodating even our daughter joined in on the fun with the music. Food was top tier for North Wales with the epic smashed burger style burgers and amazing mix of flavour chicken strips. First and definitely won't be the last time we attended A++

We booked a table to celebrate my birthday on Friday evening. We arrived and we were the only people in the restaurant, it was absolutely FREEZING in there. We asked about heating and we were told the building doesn’t have any heating so it’s just very cold in there. The staff had coats and hats on, the place was so cold that we were shivering with our coats still on. We ordered some drinks and we were told they didn’t have ingredients for milkshakes, there then seemed to be lots of looking around for the right ingredients to make the cocktails we had ordered. This really was a disappointment and we ended up leaving without any drinks or food as it was simply way too cold to stay and eat in. I’m sure the food is nice for takeaway but it’s just such a shame that the restaurant was freezing cold and lacking in so many ways. Even the staff were cold and didn’t seem to be shocked whatsoever when we decided to leave without ordering.

Had a delivery this evening to Colwyn Bay. Food was early, fresh, hot and very, very tasty. I had the mac n cheese/chilli burger, absolutely lovely but as the menu says, very messy! Will definitely order from them again. The 3/5 score for "atmosphere" is not meant to be poor, just there is no option for "didn't eat in so no idea". Definitely recommended!

Just had my order food wasn't great chicken in the burger had zero flavour chips cold same with the mac n cheese balls and I never got my drink pretty poor from a usually good place not worth the £20 it cost what so ever very disappointing

Went in for bottomless brunch with a group of friends. We had booked in advance but when we arrived all tables were full. The young lady at the bar told us there would be a short wait and she got us started with some drinks whilst we stood at the bar. She then ran out of prosecco so made some lovely cocktails for us. I think it had been a really hectic day! Service from there was impeccable and the drinks came without us having to ask. In the end we were the last group in there so the lady asked what music we wanted on and we had a great time. The food was really good too! Thank you for a fun evening, we'll be back 🩷 Only slight gripe is how loud it is in there. Very echoey when full but a sign of popularity for sure.

Had our first (and definitely not the last) delivery burger and fries. For a Saturday night the delivery was quick and food was hot enough. Taste wise it was all really nice. We had the basic burger and the pulled pork burger, both packed full and tasty. The salt and pepper chips were great and a good portion size. We would definitely rate this place and recommend to others.

Total joke if you are a non meat eaters. The menu looks amazing and progressive with non meat options but after the 4th time visiting and being told these are not available I expect they never are and the menu is a ticket gesture to appear progressive when the opposite is true

Best burger place in Rhos! Absolutely mouth watering everytime!!! Highly recommended if you want something with a little difference, the can cocktails are also wonderful

Great bottomless brunch - food was delicious and arrived fast (we sat down at 1pm & our food was with us by 1.25pm), the waiting on staff were great and frequently asked if we wanted more drinks and the atmosphere was great! I’d highly recommend, I’ll definitely be returning!

Okay, I wasn't going to post in public, but I can't find any contact address for Fat Jack's, so here it is. I ordered for collection. Picked up, on time. Food was ready at the counter. The member of staff who dealt with my payment was polite and friendly. The atmosphere in the restaurant seemed good. But the food tonight in my takeaway was poorly presented, had been ready for longer than it should have, by the time I started eating, maybe five minutes later, the fries were lukewarm, the burger doesn't even qualify as lukewarm. Sorry guys, but this was poor. I have had three long days with a lot of driving, I'm tired - that's why I didn't bring it back for replacement. In summary - better than Wetherspoons (not a high bar), better than MacDonalds. It's not a ringing endorsement. Disappointing.

My mum wanted to try somewhere different for her birthday as a table of 4 and we all really enjoyed our delicious meals. It got busy as we were there and it had a good atmosphere. The Staff were very pleasant but when it got busy it did appear the member of staff we had could have done with help seeing to all the tables. Will be coming back.

Was really excited to try Fat Jacks, but unfortunately it was a disappointment. £40 for 2 vegan burgers & 2 chips. The vegan burger was extremely overpowered by the pickled red cabbage, I had to scoop it off and then could barely eat the burger, which was also quite soggy. The chips were soggy with no seasoning so sadly had to bin them, however I do like the fact that it's a mix of normal fries & sweet potato fries! £40 wasted 🙃

Love this place, staff are amazing and very friendly. Always good service, very fast aswell. Even do delivery which is a bonus, would definitely recommend the you got beef burger 🍔

We visited Far Jack's after hearing great reviews. The food was top notch and the atmosphere with a live sax player was brilliant. Service by Casey and Amber was first class. The whole experience was top of the tree we shall return. 😌 Mr. Chips. 🍟

Banging burgers and friendly helpful staff whom got us water for our dogs too while we waited for the food to be done.

Really disappointed we have had burgers from here as take out and they were absolutely delicious. However on this occasion the burgers were greasy with cold soggy toppings. Not at all worth the price. Not pleasurable in the slightest. Service was OK. Unfortunately we picked the Sax night to come which was loud and out of tune to songs. We will not be returning.

We had heard good things about this place and decided to try it! Wasn’t disappointed the food was amazing, service was quick and staff were friendly, it was quiet when we were there hence not much atmosphere but all in all a hidden gem!

Ssssssslllllllllloooooooooowwwwwww!!! Over an hour to receive the food. Server blamed high volume of take away orders…. NOT MY PROBLEM!!! If you have to wait then the food should be spot on. It wasn’t. If you spend £45 in a burger joint then it should be twice as good as a McDonald’s!! This was the second time to eat here … there won’t be a third!

I have been wanting to try the food here for a long time. First of all I received the wrong drink, waited 30 minutes for 2 sides 2 chips, people were getting there food before us who hadn't been there long. The food arrived and it was warm, nothing was fresh. I had the salt and pepper chips (nothing like I had before horrible) and I had the pork bon bon which were bland with a cheap bbq dip. Wasn't checked on the whole time we were there. Left most of the food. Went to pay and the man didn't even know what table we were on, didn't ask if the food was OK or anything. Won't return.

When a restaurant has no one in it instantly you think it’s not good! I thought maybe it’s early and gave this place a chance because of the reviews… The burger tastes of air with stale bacon frassles! The fries were awful and we got a free brownie on a Tuesday! I ended up giving it to the seagulls! It must have been microwaved for a good few minutes! If you want to feel like you have covid with no taste buds please go here! Never again! Not sure where the great reviews have come from 🤢

Wow, I have never had such a bad burger in my whole life, completely tasteless might as well of eaten my own debit card, would of tasted better and be cheaper, everything was cold within the burger apart from the burger itself which was actually hot not that it made a difference. The whole thing was a sloppy mess. I have no idea how this place has got a good rating.

Only had a drink, staff friendly and attentive but would defo come back to eat, menu looked good and the toilets were fabulous 😍

The worse burger ever had in the years I have travelled.over cooked, bland,dry, bacon burnt, sirloin steak tough and over cooked, size smaller than 2 x2oz patties. Chicken burger a mini fillet not as in the photos, dry and flavourless. Salt and pepper fries, over cooked been fried more than twice raw peppers and swimming in jalapeno juice.Burger buns small no lettuce etc, Cheetos soggy. They need to send chefs to McDonald's to learn how to cook a burger.

I've had food from hear a few times now and it never disappoints to be fair. Unfortunately this time they did forget to put the pot of peppercorn sauce in, but if I'm honest I could have popped back as I don't live that far, but the burger was just so tasty not to eat there and then. If I could give 6 out of 5 stars I would.

A group of friends stopped here on the way home from Ireland. Just off the A55 at Rhos on sea so quite handy. They got us a table for 7 at short notice and the service was excellent. They are really friendly as well. We all ordered burgers and we all enjoyed what we had ordered. Everything was tasty and hot. The food was served in baskets but we were more than happy with this. We had 4 Americans with us and they really enjoyed the burgers as well. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Very friendly staff, allowed us to bring our dog in, even gave him treats, food was very tasty and plenty of it , bathroom was spotless and lovely decorated

Visited today (May 15th 2023), have to say that the staff are fantastic and the food was excellent. I had the Basic Bitc# Burger, which was the best burger I've ever tasted. When I thought it couldn't get any better, I had the Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake for dessert.... WOW!! Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me Billy

Burger absolutely spot on. Plain Chips however way, way to salty. even left a comment in the a box that says ‘note to seller’ requesting no salt and vinegar on the chips as you can’t request it on the website

I had the “you bacon me crazy burger “ with the Jack fries ( a nice mix of sweet potato fries and regular fries) Who would have thought to put frazzled on a burger, strange combination but delicious. My wife had a peanut butter and jelly burger which was a tad too radical for me but she loved it. Not something to have every day but fantastic every now and again

Simply the best burger takeaway in town! Bit on the pricey side? Absolutely not! Worth every penny! Pork belly bonbons are simply outstanding! And the chips are Stunning! Obviously homemade and delicious. As for the burgers...... I have never tasted a burger so good in my life! 4 of us ordered and we all ordered different. My husband had the "All You Can Meat" and as a seasoned burger lover he was absolutely impressed, he described it as simply amazing! One daughter had "You Got Beef" and her description, in her words was a "flavour explosion". My other daughter had the plain cheeseburger meal but added maple cured bacon and mac & cheese (photo below) and in her words it was "an unexpected, stomach satisfying, completely delicious surprise!" In simple words... You would be missing out if you did not experience the wonder of this restaurants food! AAAAA*****

had an issue with my food from fat jacks (First time ordering) and figured I've just wasted 30quid. however i rang the restaurant and Camilla customer service is Next level truly the best customer service I've received from a restaurant. This lady single handedly saved a customer from never ordering again. Thank you Camilla for your excellent service. i hope the food is better next time :)

A little more expensive than a normal take away but worth every penny. It's quality and delicious food. We used fat Jack's whilst on holiday and was hot when delivered and we sat there stuffed. We will be back every time we visit Colwyn.

Absolutely fantastic meal, burgers were worth the money we paid and the halloumi fries were absolutely stunning. Absolutely stuffed and pleased with the variety of dietary options such as gluten free, but no vegan as of yet. There is a small Vegetarian friendly choice, halloumi burger is an option if you take off additional ingredients. Packaging was mostly paper and cardboard, which I greatly appreciated because we see way too much styrofoam in take away these days. Great city style food if you’re missing the urban life.

The gluten free burger was amazing, huge and so tasty. It was full of bacon and chilli cooked perfectly for me. The fries were a mixture of sweet potatoes and normal potatoes and delicious. So nice to actually be able to order a decent gluten free takeaway! Will definitely be ordering again.

Wings and strips were supposed to be honey buffalo but all you could taste was pure salt. We couldn’t eat it was so strong. Complained to Just Eat which I never do but thought it was viable only to be told I couldn’t have a refund as all restaurants have different cooking styles, even though this was clearly an error. Expensive for what it is.

Placed an order on their website, it took payment, received confirmation emails, drove down there and the place is completely closed. Though on Google maps , just eat and their website it says open. Now need to try and get my money back

I've ordered from FJ's many times and this is definitely the best burger and chicken joint (up until now) I've found in North Wales. The burgers are fantastic, the chicken wings and strips are mouth wateringly good, and the bacon loaded fries to die for. They also use sustainable packaging which is a big bonus. My only negative point would be that the quality of the food isn't always consistent, and I think a few different burger toppings would be great - something with blue cheese perhaps? and maybe more variety with the loaded fries. Overall, I would highly recommend!

Food was incredible! Everything was packaged separately and the boxes for the burgers are really cool! Everything tasted fresh and it was all hot. Delivery was a bit slow, but no longer than about 45 minutes which was fine for us.

Well the food is OK but the price is rather expensive for what you get. The salt and pepper fries looked like a big portion however it was mostly veg and hard to find any actual fries. They sent a kinder bueno dessert instead of the whisper one to me someone who hates nuts. No explanation no sorry we didn't have that just ah sod them they have paid so we don't care kinda vibes! Sauce leaked out over alot of the other items too! I'd avoid.

Can't find fault, we got food delivered and it was hot and extremely tasty. The food was also well packaged each item in its own cardboard box. Will definitely get food from there again

Order placed @ 16:34pm to be delivered for 18:15pm Just eat notification, to say the delivery was on its way @ 18:20pm (5 mins later than the requested time) Delivery hadn’t arrived by 18:37pm, msg received @ 18:38pm saying “Hi there. Sorry about this. Fat Jacks says your order is on its way and should be with you around 6:45pm. Sorry again about the delay. Keep track of your order here….. Call @ 18:40 from the delivery person asking to confirm the address. As she was down the road and couldn’t find the address. Missed Call @ 18:41pm from what turned out to be the takeaway. Answered Call @ 18:42pm. From Fat Jacks. Saying the order was placed for 18:45pm and wasn’t in fact late. He could send over their proof that it was ordered for 18:45pm. The caller was a bit arsey to be honest. And was more interested in blaming us for ordering at the wrong time. Even though the receipt we had on the bag said it was ordered for 18:15pm! Food arrived at 18:43pm. The lady was polite and apologised for the delay as she had got a bit lost! The receipt on the package states it was ordered for 18:15pm. Chips and wings were cold. The burger was tasty but just warm. In summary. Easy to order, food late, takeaway shop rude, food mostly cold. Complained to just eat, offered a £5 credit in line with their cold food policy. Which was an insult considering the issues experienced. Just eat and the takeaway are not bothered about the customer!
